221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin used to do money laundering - will it become a huge problem? on: February 18, 2016, 06:58:41 PM
Bitcoin "used"? It never did. The users of Bitcoin are the ones that did that. As far as I'm concerned Bitcoin is only money. Money during anytime can be utilized for money laundering.
222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is in trouble on: February 18, 2016, 06:56:51 PM
It's not in any trouble. I believe we are onto a good upcoming year if I do say so myself. Don't get discouraged.
223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Valve is about to accept bitcoin as their payment system on: February 14, 2016, 07:15:45 AM
It's not a big deal to me. There's tons of people accepting it nowadays.
224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much would you pay per month to run a full node? on: February 14, 2016, 07:14:29 AM
Bitcoin shouldn't depend on anything. It should just be strong by itself.
225  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin will rise again on: February 14, 2016, 07:13:18 AM
Maybe, but not now.
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people use so many Bitcoin wallets? on: February 14, 2016, 07:05:32 AM
I think we already covered this question. It is for the anonymity.
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be regulated? And why it might be a major problem. on: February 14, 2016, 07:00:17 AM
Regulation is the next step to the government finally accepting us though. Unfortunately, most don't want them to be a part of the government, like myself. I'd rather Bitcoin be where it is right now. If it ever became mainstream, to an extent, that'd be a problem to me.
228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A real bitcoin miner looks like this! on: February 14, 2016, 06:58:32 AM
Bitcoin mining can sometimes have the tendency to be rather complicated. I usually don't do it it too often. I just enjoy holding my coin.
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bernie Sanders on bitcoin?? on: February 14, 2016, 06:57:30 AM
It wouldn't matter in my honest opinion. We don't need government issued services or representatives joining us.
230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: February 09, 2016, 02:25:34 AM
You know, in some cases it won't be seen as real money, only because some people don't buy things with it. They buy with more established currencies. If we become more established, we are in the clear.
231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how to recover btc on: February 09, 2016, 02:20:00 AM
I don't think it's more reversible than preventable.
232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is scary.. Potentially, could this stop BTC adoption in the long run? on: February 09, 2016, 02:18:53 AM
It probably won't stop it. Bitcoin would need just a little bit more issues for it to be completely shut down, mind you. However, it is an interesting topic to bring up.
233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do people around you think about Bitcoin ? on: February 09, 2016, 02:17:45 AM
They do not even know of Bitcoin, so it wouldn't matter. Some do, some don't. I don't think they'd be too interested in it until it starts to work. It's been six-eight years and the price just keeps dropping. It's kind of disappointing.
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC/USD or Bitcoin in wallet ? Which is safer for long term investment on: February 09, 2016, 02:16:04 AM
Both are fine by me. I need BTC for interest, and USD to transfer that interest to.
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Name the Year You Became Aware of Crypto Currency on: February 09, 2016, 02:14:52 AM
I don't remember, unfortunately. I don't think it really matters. Money is money
236  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: February 09, 2016, 02:13:12 AM
Bitcoin can still be occupied for a living. I use it for my family, and they surely could learn about BTC years later, or sooner.
237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: February 09, 2016, 02:11:55 AM
It is unfortunately. However, the US dollar is also being occupied for illegal activity. Anything that has to do with purchasing products and services is something that can be utilized to do illegal work. Bitcoin isn't to blame.
238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pay for the companionship of a Supermodel with Bitcoin. All Money is Money! on: February 09, 2016, 02:10:21 AM
That isn't a good idea to me. It's kind of prostitution which is illegal.
239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do the banks want out of the Bitcoin blockchain? on: February 09, 2016, 02:09:03 AM
They are definitely interested in taking away the anonymity portion of the currency, which I supoose is somewhat understandable. I do not know what their next move is in terms of moving forward with Bitcoin.
240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When was your first "awareness" of Bitcoin/How were you made aware? on: February 09, 2016, 02:05:57 AM
I'm not all that certain. A couple friends mentioned Bitcoin to me. I also had a boss that dealed in it. Now I have a business that deals in it.
