221  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bryan Micon's Butterfly Labs Scammer Investigation including Josh Zerlan on: December 07, 2013, 02:44:16 AM
Yeah I mean...  We have delivered more units than every other company combined ten times over... It's not like we have a massive scale compared to everyone else or anything. Of course there is more people voting for BFL... We have tens of thousands of more products out there than anyone else. Duh.
222  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Butterflylabs Huge SCAM on: December 06, 2013, 07:43:15 PM
Don't be a pedantic idiot, Puppet.  The guy was claiming that it shocked him and that it was plugged into his Jalapeno and also blew out the rest of his equipment... which would mean the wire would have to carry enough amps to do that, meaning it would melt @ 120v.

Utter bullshit. Even a tiny load can destroy electronic equipment. Even a static discharge. Never seen the anti static wrist bands your employees hopefully use? Static electricity discharges can easily exceed 10000V. But you think such discharge can burn through a USB wire?

But you already knew that, right?  You just wanted to post yet another troll with your worthless, utterly idiotic, mind numbing stupidity.

In short: You're a moron, please go back to your BFL forums with the rest of the idiots and leave the adults alone

Yes, true, everything you spew is utter bullshit.  Seriously, take 5 seconds out of your constant inane babble, stop drooling all over your keyboard and actually read the thread and try to understand it (you can read and understand advanced concepts beyond the kindergarten level, right?  I'm not so sure.).  Until then, just sit back, relax and keep your little bib on to keep the spittle from soaking into your shirt.  Seriously... think before you post.  Try it just once in your life, see how it works out.

223  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] First 500Gh/s BFL unit up and running! on: December 06, 2013, 03:42:54 PM
BFL, KnC and Bitfury are pretty much it.  BFL is the only one shipping miners from stock in any quantity.  You can pre-order from KnC (no stock) and I don't think Bitfury is doing quantity at the moment if they have any in stock at all.

224  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] First 500Gh/s BFL unit up and running! on: December 06, 2013, 03:19:59 PM
What do you want to know about them?  They draw ~2100 - 2200w between two PSUs, so around 1100w per PSU/circuit.
225  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Butterflylabs Huge SCAM on: December 06, 2013, 02:24:58 PM
Josh shows his intimate understanding of Ohm's law:

There's no way a USB cable would support 120v, it would melt almost instantly the minute it touched anything.

Thats right Josh, cables are rated for voltages, not amps  Roll Eyes

Fortunately he is better at his job as COO and 2 weeks after the original promised shipping date, he is clearly on top of things:

".. I still don't have all the information I want to make a specific statement on who's affected and who isn't, as I don't know exactly how many chips we are getting in the first batch. ....  I'm not making any commitments, but I'm going to hazard a guess ...  With the bullet run being delayed, it may end up that we get all the chips ... I really hate making comments like this, because they get taken as commitments and that is absolutely not what this is. It's me speculating without all the information I need to make a firm statement."

226  Economy / Goods / Re: NISSAN GTR FOR SALE w/ BITCOIN.... www.certacoin.com PROMOTION on: December 06, 2013, 04:39:49 AM
I wasn't really commenting on the motors, honestly... more about the build quality, interior, etc... basically everything but the motor.  American cars are typically cheap and crappy... take the C5 Corvette as an example.  At the time (12 - 13 years ago), it was a $40,000 car and had the same interior as the $12,000 car Chevy was selling.  What kind of crap is that?  Ford... same thing. $35,000 Mustang Cobra... completely shitty plastic interior.

Both cars, which I owned, were always in the shop for one broken part or another and under warranty.  Maybe things have changed in the past 12 years, but they'd have to have changed quite drastically to get up to par.  Then there's the matter of aesthetics... while that is a personal opinion, the current spate of "Lets make the old designs new again" that the American car companies are going through makes me want to barf a little in my mouth.  They are huge, ugly, blocky offenses to aesthetic design, devoid of any class or panache what so ever... and the GTR seems to be going down that road, which is a huge disappointment.

Performance wise... maybe the American cars can keep up now adays, but back a few years ago they were just too heavy and unwieldy to compete on anything but straight line acceleration.
227  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Butterflylabs Huge SCAM on: December 03, 2013, 11:09:38 PM
45,000 shipped units later, we see what an idiot Volavak and Elux truly are.  This is why you don't listen to the current crop of trolls like Darin "Bicknellski" Bicknell, Christian "Xian" Antkow, Bryan "I'm a degenerate" Micon, etc... they all have no idea what they are talking about and have agendas to push.  They simply can not be honest with you and post truthful information.  They *must* post false information to prop up their false allegations and outright lies, upon lies, upon lies.  Then they disappear... *poof* when it's proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that they lied and lied about everything they claimed was true of BFL.

Cast as many aspersions as you want... BFL is still here.  BFL has delivered more units than any other vendor and powers most of the network than anyone else.  Where are the trolls?  Gone... but there's always new ones waiting to take their place.
228  Economy / Goods / Re: NISSAN GTR FOR SALE w/ BITCOIN.... www.certacoin.com PROMOTION on: December 03, 2013, 11:03:37 PM
Nice car!  It's too bad Nissan went all American on aesthetics, though.  I really wish it wasn't so big and bulky... makes it looks like a Camaro or Charger or something... at least it's mechanically far superior and the interior is top notch.

Not sure I'd pay $125k for it either, though.  Might want to lower the price if you want a quicker sale.

People like me consider people like you to be dirtbags, but I understand that you don't agree and why you don't agree.

...
You may consider people like me to be dirtbags, but coming from someone like you, that really doesn't say much.  You are nothing but a scum sucking resource on humanity, providing nothing positive to the bitcoin community or the general population at large. It's common for resource sinks such as yourself to be defensive about your place in life, so I understand why you might take offenses to what I have to say.  But the sad fact of the matter is, if you were to cease to exist today, you would not be missed and your entire life would be forgotten in an instant.  You provide nothing positive to Bitcointalk nor society at large.

I'm not worried much about my 'legacy', but you seem to be worried about yours for some reason.

You will go down as one of the most successful of the early crypto-currency scammers, and there is nothing you can do to change that now, but every indication is that you enjoy basking in that glow...and in the effects of substance abuse as well judging by your physical appearance.  Whatever floats your boat, dude.

Yes, a "scammer" who has delivered nearly 50,000 ASIC units, and BFL equipment powering more of the network than any other vendor.  Quite the scam there.  What have you done, other that troll and post lies on the internet? This is what I mean when I say you are scum.  You make claims, but you have nothing to back them up.  You try to tarnish people to make yourself feel better... you are nothing but a bottom feeder, unable to cope your with your daily life, so you try to tear down others to make yourself look better.  Please do the world a favor and an hero for the rest of us.

People see BFL ads whenever they search for Bitcoin, and what they need to see is Josh Zerlan publicly acting like a psycho and a weasel at a public industry gathering, in front of customers.

The BFL scam targets adolescents and other people with a similar mentality.  Josh's antics are designed to appeal to this group and they often do.  It's actually rather well played.

Wonder what that says about you, then, huh?

It probably says that I've above average skill at observation and analysis.  That's part of the reason I've been able to do fairly well without stealing from others.

People like me consider people like you to be dirtbags, but I understand that you don't agree and why you don't agree.

Above average skill in what again?  You've been completely unable to observe or analyze anything approaching reality.  Can you provide any example of where one of your analyses or observations has been connected to reality?  No?

I was wondering what happened to his investigation? long interview found here:
http://igaming.org/poker/interview/bryan-micon-speaks-up-about-bitcoin-butterfly-labs-and-sealswithclubs/

Very good explanation of why BFL is a scam and not merely an accident of fate and why taking pre-order money is inherently shady.

Every forum I go where the subject of Bitcoin comes up and people ask about mining, I'll point to this as a good layperson's explanation of why to stay the hell away from the scam known as BFL.  People see BFL ads whenever they search for Bitcoin, and what they need to see is Josh Zerlan publicly acting like a psycho and a weasel at a public industry gathering, in front of customers.

What we need are more chips here, anyone got any thoughts/leads? I'm wondering if BFL locked out sales so they could ensure they had enough for their jallies and singles; apparently they sold out of JP's so there might be some left overs once the sale ends today.

We only ordered 500,000 to 600,000 chips (I can't remember how many wafers specifically off the top of my head) and we're down to under 30k left, maybe quite a bit less.  Once they are gone, they are pretty much gone, we are moving to 28nm.

Question: Which Bitcoin-related company Chief Operating Officer violated their company privacy policies, by revealing privileged information about one of their previous, disenfranchised customers, and is trying to now smear their good name ?

I don't know, who?  Because it sure isn't me.

Undeniably, it is you Christian 'Xian' Antkow.

Let's revisit your lies in relation to this:

Here is you, associated with your account as you discuss your desire for pedophillia (No, I'm not kidding, Christian Antkow is seriously talking about pedophiles.):

Which you've since deleted, but luckily some happy people quoted you before you went back and edited out your raving nutbaggery:

I am sorry, but that is erroneous.

I have been patiently waiting for over 11 months now, and still have faith Butterfly Labs will deliver product.

So you see, you complete nutcase, you posted your own name on Bitcointalk.  I revealed nothing that you haven't revealed publicly before.  Don't blame me for your inability to comprehend how the internet works.

Should I go on?  There's a veritable cornucopia of links associated with Xian and Christian Antkow.

As usual, you are the one that is mistaken.  That seems to be a habit with you.

I'm curious as to why you try to blame me for your failure of a life?  Everything you do turns to a pile of shit, but somehow it's BFL's fault. If you'd only learn to control your temper and mouth, you'd probably get along a lot better professionally and personally.  I mean, seriously, just look at your "hobbies" at the Caligirl Photo album.  "My hobby is driving my car really fast and women" hurr durr!  What are you, 12?

Poor customers Puerto? Shall I link to the dump you live in one more time maybe, to show who is the real poor fail in life guy around here? You were crying NO ROI for the late BFL deliveries since January, but guess what, my late single and jalapeno made over 16.4BTC in the last 11 weeks only, ROI enough?

Ah, yes, doxxing for intimidation... Favorite tools of Butterfly Labs for dealing with customer and community backlash.

Zerlan has taught you well, Padawan.

 Disgusting.
Hey, you had me on ignore remember? Where was your moral standard hiding when there were vacation pictures of the Zerlan family posted here? Probably hiding behind that bag of dicks you were working on, mister "Josh I'm so sorry please please please can I get my order back"?

Christian 'Xian' Antkow is just full of awesomeness... he thinks that posting his name is a form of intimidation (it shows what a paranoid psychotic nutjob he is).  I'm not sure how posting his name, which he's posted in numerous places on the internet, including here on Bitcointalk himself, is intimidation.  Anyone with any technical knowledge at all would realize it's for SEO, so people will see what an unstable nutjob he is and be forewarned that dealing with him will lead to nothing but misery.  Hopefully other startups and businesses will be able to avoid the misery of dealing with him.  A long shot, to be sure, but if it helps even one other person avoid his particular brand of crazy, it's worth it.
235  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [170 TH] EMC: No Fee DGM. Anonymous PPS. US & EU servers. on: November 29, 2013, 03:47:26 PM
Much like Vardiff and a number of other features, EMC was the first pool to implement 2FA and GA wasn't very popular at the time.  HOTP was chosen because there was no standard and the fact that you don't have to have your phone with you all the time to use HOTP, I find it to be superior (write down a few codes and keep them with you, no electronic device required to use OTP) to TOTP.  Seems TOTP has become the standard, but it's still annoying as well compared to HOTP.

At any rate, I'll probably change it in the future, but it's not high on the priority list.

I responded to your email.

What wallet address is that?  A lot of people use it... is it a mixer address or something?  There's like 11 accounts that use that same wallet address.

In any event, without your account name I can't look up what IP accessed the site.

Please activate payout lock in addition to 2FA. That would have prevented this as well.

It depends on which MOSFETs you have.  We have had a lot of trouble sourcing large quantities of MOSFETs, so we've had different ones on there. Some run much, much cooler than others.
