221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] CRYPTOLENDING/ STAKING, TRADING & LENDING/TO GET 16% PROFIT PER MONTH on: December 15, 2017, 06:30:29 AM
This looks exactly like a ponzi. How on earth will you pay that amount daily? Will you be paying people in cryptolend or in btc? Unless this is a premine so it is like a ponzi but the extra interest comes from the premine. So how does that work? What are we paid back in with the daily interest?
222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New to bitcoin? Read this! on: December 15, 2017, 06:24:17 AM
Thank you!! Thank goodness someone with some sense. I still do not understand why people say they will sell at $$xxxx. Why they here if they just going to exchange to tether. I keep my bitcoin and I  spend them. I don't need to use tether very often. I don't think of bitcoin as being worth $$xxxx I just use that as a guideline to know how much buying power bitcoin has. You don't have to think of it in usd and then think you must sell it. Why? You spend it. It is a currency.

Thank goodness you spoke about the "bubble" I hate when people use that word. It means nothing. Nothing is going to pop nor plummit. Also if bitcoin is a bubble then everything should be a bubble. Our life expectancy is a bubble too.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 95% of Cryptocurrencies will Not Survive in 2018 on: December 15, 2017, 05:35:18 AM
Most crypto have no actual backing and you just investing in an idea when you buy their coins. Some crypto is more useful and can be used in various ways as well as to buy things like ltc doge eth waves ect

Most crypto is there because they dream to be used one day as currency though you right 95% will fail. This is because we only need a few currencies not hundreds so it makes sense only the best will survive.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All coins are now dying, what do you think? on: December 15, 2017, 05:07:29 AM
How long have you been trading for because they whole market is not red. Much of the market is but not the whole market. LTC and DOGE and ETH recently went up by a fair amount and some other alts I collect did so as well. The market is strange though and does seem to change along with bitcoin. I guess many people are selling because of bitcoins high price and want to take advantage of it for christmas.
225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One thousand people control 40% of Bitcoin on: December 15, 2017, 05:02:32 AM
They must be early investors. I wonder how many are fluke investors like people who mined early on or bought 1000s of coins when it was $0.003 per bitcoin. I guess we all wish that we had done that. Having such few people in control of so many bitcoin seems against bitcoin to me. That seems to make it ventral. But bitcoin is immune to 51% attack so it should not be a problem.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Cash beat BTC? on: December 15, 2017, 12:51:55 AM
I think for smaller transactions bitcoin cash has the advatntage. Unless that gets fixed then maybe bitcoin will have a chance. Right now we are having more problems with delayed transactions as I am sure you all know and the fees are much too high and low fees use to be something bitcoin bragged about but now cannot. Bitcoin is seen to much as an investment/stocks then currency. Bitcoin is ment to be a currency that counts as an asset not the other way around.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Alts are you buying in this Dip??? on: December 15, 2017, 12:47:01 AM
I like to buy and profit from lesser known coins. I have some 808coin and its a good time to buy but bad if you selling. I have some BTG, BCH , ETH, doge. There are some altcoins I cannot think of right now that I own.

I believe under 1 dollar coins are worth buying. Like Ripple and Golem, these two coins have the potential to increase 5x to 10x in 2018.

You must look at market cap and price and max cap. It is in ratio to one another so often price doesn't matter.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: my MyEtherWallet/account was emptied on: December 14, 2017, 11:55:26 PM
I have also lost money doing stupid things. All I can really say is that you must always double check, heck check 5x that you have the right info before you send any info to any form or anywhere online. You should not allow yourself access to the privatekey that way you cannot make mistakes like this again. Sorry about what happened but don't give up you can make the money back and more.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to get most out of Airdrops??? on: December 14, 2017, 11:49:43 PM
After you get your airdrop help support the coin and that will hopefully bring the price up and make you more money. Don't just dump and run because there is always alot more money to be made then just that. Rather support the coin and let it grow a bit then sell. Especially if the airdrop is not worth that much you must hold till it is.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: 【Yobit.NET】The withdrawal is not completed on: December 14, 2017, 11:47:12 PM
I use yobit and I have done so for many months. This is strange and I am unsure why it happened. Unfortunetly yobits support is none existant and you better off contacting bittrex and asking them. You should not be exchange between exchanges though, well that is what they say so this doesn't happen but I think that is nonesense.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] ⚡ United Traders ⚡ Payments will be in BTC and UTT tokens ⚡ on: December 09, 2017, 01:49:39 PM

232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Connection between when Bitcoin going up Altcoin going down? on: December 09, 2017, 04:01:03 AM
This is something I never could understand, what is there connection really? Every time we see BTC going up most of other ALT coins on the market showing red, value percentage going down, what is that about?

It doesn't always. Sometimes altcoins go up along with bitcoin. It is all very complicated and there are so many reasons that altcoins can go up and down but I don't think you should group all other coins in one group and talk about them all just calling them "altcoins" they are all seperate coins so having just 2 groups (one being btc one being altcoin) is not really fair.
I will say it is stramge that lately it seems the price of many alts are going down. Maybe people want to sell them to get the btc that is worth so much now but I don't see the point you don't need to sdell your alts when they have good bitcoin value because you can sell them when you want.
233  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: December 09, 2017, 03:06:05 AM
On my mobile phone, I use Copay, it's easy to use and have all features you need, on desktop PC works flawlessly with BitPay. For Ethereum Tokens MyEtherWallet is best. Just make sure bookmark website and double check URL before proceed - always. I keep sensitive information locked in containers with VeraCrypt - based on source code from TrueCrypt on Offline PC. Good advice is to have few MEW wallets and spread all your Tokens between them.

I agree with you about spreading them but that can be annoying to have different mew wallets everywhere. I would prefer if they made like a trezor type device to keep your mew wallet safe. There is a gap in the market for that I am not sure why noone has not filled it. Maybe it can't be done I don't know. All I know is our tokens are important and deserve the best protection.

234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC transactions stuck on Blockchain ?? on: December 09, 2017, 02:55:07 AM
What have you guys been paying as a transaction fee? I have been paying about 0.001btc and it goes through quickly I was surprised because It usually takes a little longer then that andI was expecting it to take even longer this time. Are you transfering from an exchange wallet or wallet to wallet? Or maybe I have just been lucky?
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ridiculously High Network Transfer Fee on Coinbase on: December 09, 2017, 02:47:03 AM
Hello. I am trying to transfer 50$ worth of bitcoin from coinbase to another wallet. The network fee is 16$ to make this transfer, so I would only have 33$ left. Never seen the fee this high. Any and all help appreciated. I tried using another wallet for the transfer and it is still the same fee

What kind of help do you need? You can't modify fees in Coinbase nor anyone here. The fees will not changed no matter where should you send it because Coinbase is the sender. You have no choice but to deal with their fees.

Also while bitcoin price is increasing, you can really feel much the fees in terms of USD value. I just checked the fees now on Coinbase and it was around BTC0.001.  It was their usual fees but because of the current bitcoin price, USD value for it increase.

It seems to me that 0.001btc is the going rate right now for most transactions. I used that amount for a fee on 0.007btc and paid 0.00116 for 0.0145btc. It is very high. I remmeber when it was few tensw of thousands of satoshi, now we up to 0.001btc

I think the best bet is to try another exchange but check to make sure you know what their fees are beforehand.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is ethereum so slow? on: December 08, 2017, 11:55:31 PM
I am not sure where I saw it but I saw and read from a site that I should be using 6 gwei and I use to use much more for some reason I think I use to use the default amount. Since then it has worked just as quickly and I saved some eth. Maybe trey using 5 gwei and see how that goes. It should help.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: December 08, 2017, 11:45:55 PM
Well yes surely. Ether is great and I love it. The ether platform and the way wallets like myetherwallet work are great and we need ether for making transactions of all our tokens so this should keep the value up and stable since people will always use them and need themand it is also much cheaper then using bitcoin for transactions.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: December 08, 2017, 11:39:09 PM
Wow there are so many airdrops I had no idea. You can't possibly not miss some. You cannot possibly do all the things here on the forum. This is a helpful thread and I am so glad someone made it. Though this still won't be easy seeing as how many pages this thread now has. I am going to have to go through it all.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I the only one this unlucky during my entry into investments and crypto? on: December 08, 2017, 10:55:59 PM
No it happens to many people. People can;t just expect to trade well right awawy. It takes practice and it is better to start slow and make smaller profits that are more of a sure thing. Maybe you will get lucky and coins you own will sky rocket. You couldinvesst the money in a casino and spend the profit on trading or invest in a POS coin and use those profits to buy more coins.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WAVES PLATFORM VS ETH PLATFORM on: December 08, 2017, 10:15:17 PM
I don't really see them as in competition and against one another. I think waves is just an alternative to eth and it is always good to have freedom of choice. It is also good to know waves is backed by its own wallet and exchange. The advantage waves has is that it has a built in market.
