I feel Chennai will lose again and Kolkata is going to keep going with their winnings. But in the mean time, Chennai is a team who can stop any team in their day so we can even see an opposite result of the prediction I am making in the match#22.

Chennai was looking strong after some early matches. I was thinking thay they will not loss any match in the first round like India in the world cup but they lost to some low rank teams. Chennai is still strong team but as I remember whenever KKR face CSK ,the match remains so tough and it's quite difficult to guess who will win
If I am not wrong then Chennai is the team who own IPL title more than anyone else. So there are nothing to think that they are underdog. This team knows when to comeback and attack stronger than ever. But still today my luck will be tied with Kolkata.

As expected Chennai Super kings won the match and this time bowlers done the job brilliantly. Yeah you are right CSK and MI both won the IPL final five times each but overall performance of CSK is better as CSK appeared in 10 final matches which is record performance of any team in the IPL.

Today match prediction:

Match 23: Punjab Kings vs Sunrisers Hyderabad

Toss Win: Punjab Kings
Team Win: Punjab Kings
Best Batsman: Travis Head
Best Bowler: Kagiso Rabada

224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you advise a friend in the same way? on: April 06, 2024, 07:38:45 PM
There are two things. The first thing is whether the money kept in the bank is free and isn't going to be used anytime soon for the company, and the second is whether your friend and his company can manage such investments no matter what sort of situations may occur in the market.

MicroStrategy is a big company and it is managed by expert businessmen and their teams know what they are doing, whereas the company of your friend or his father, as you said it, is small and might not be able to manage Bitcoin investments because Bitcoin doesn't just go up, it can go down as well, and MicroStrategy have always timed their purchases very well.

There is nothing wrong in giving advice, but you need to make sure that your friend understands all the risks involved and knows how these things are done. If he buys Bitcoin at $70k and then Bitcoin dumps to $30k later on, you are the one who is going to be blamed for the loss of value his company will experience.

226  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My plan.. UK based on: April 03, 2024, 11:36:10 PM
I don't use Kraken, so I'm not sure about it, but the withdrawal fees on Binance are normal now and aren't that high. However, as you have planned, you should withdraw only after you reach a certain threshold that you set so that you don't pay a lot of fees for your withdrawals when you are buying. It's true that there can be issues on exchanges sometimes, but hopefully that wouldn't happen very soon and you stay safe.

Talking about non-custodial and hardware wallets, as suggested by others, you should go for a wallet that is completely open-source which makes it a safer option for you to store your Bitcoin because a closed-source software or wallet can have hidden risks that we might not be aware of.
227  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anxiety in trading (heart disease) on: April 03, 2024, 11:30:45 PM
Things that involve sudden wins and losses such as gambling and trading aren't for people who don't have enough patience and control over their emotions because a sudden situation can cause medical conditions for such people and it isn't worth it. What would you do of the profits or the money if you get an heart-attack or some other severe health condition?

Everyone knows themselves and how they are, so a person getting into such things should evaluate their conditions before they do so. You can't risk your life just to earn some money if you know you can't handle certain situations and there is a high chance of you encountering such situations if you get into that thing.
228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Money vs Bitcoin on: April 03, 2024, 08:21:42 PM
Traditional money or fiat is more a medium of exchange than a store of value because it's affected heavily by inflation and you can't consider something a store of value if it tends to devalue over time because of economic ups and downs.

No one can call Bitcoin just a medium of exchange because it isn't, it has multiple features and properties and that is the reason why it's so popular only within the second decade of its creation. People know that Bitcoin can be a great store of value because instead of their money devaluing over time, it gains more value if handled in a good way.

So most people these days are using Bitcoin more as an investment asset and an store of value than a medium of exchange because it is not yet accepted everywhere to be used as a medium of exchange.
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Need some ideas on: April 03, 2024, 08:01:10 PM
You already mentioned all the ideas about crypto what other ideas are you exactly looking for?

Why not tell them how to develop or build their own blockchain there is a guide that I know where you can learn them and you can build a DIY right away on different programming languages.
Here's the link below

Also take note of web3 remember there are many blockchain games crypto related if you can give them a few sample games like Axie it would be easier for them to learn about web3 and NFTs.

I think he mentioned it is about the basics of blockchain and Bitcoin, and I don't think the ideas or concepts you have shared are anywhere near the "basic" category. You can't expect someone to develop and build their own blockchain for a maximum of $10 as a reward for learning the process no matter what programming language they are going to use. It's a lengthy process and someone who is in the learning process can't go that far.

A learn-and-earn program should consist of concepts and ideas that are very basic but are important for someone to know when they get into this industry such as how they can create and use a non-custodial wallet, how they can double-spend a transaction, how the blockchain works, etc. Such concepts will make them understand Bitcoin and its network more closely because they would research and study if there is some incentive attached to the process.
230  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you think merit is by chance or lengthy article? on: April 02, 2024, 07:36:28 PM
Anyways some users didn't attract to those long threads cause they will felt tired  to read all of those thread.

No one, including me, would get bored or tired of reading a post that contains helpful and constructive information and knowledge. So as you said, it's not about the length of a post being created but it is the quality it contains. Even very long posts are read with interest in many sections of the forum but only if they have some meaning and are contributing to the discussion. Someone would surely ignore a post being unnecessarily long while containing nothing useful and read-worthy.

It's a common misconception among newbies that making long posts earn you merits and it's because they see long posts from senior members getting a lot of merits but they fail to determine the fact that those posts are of high-quality and aren't some gibberish written to unnecessarily prolong the post.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unbacked stable coins are a big danger on: April 02, 2024, 06:19:03 PM
Although what you said about stable coins that aren't backed is true, I don't think people buy or hold stable coins just because Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies are volatile and they don't want to buy them, but they use stable coins because they need a cryptocurrency that can hold their funds after they buy or sell a volatile cryptocurrency and can trade effortlessly without having to worry about the ups and downs of the market. So it's just a short-term sort of a thing.

For the long run, most people prefer Bitcoin regardless of its volatile nature because it tends to provide more value when it's held for a long time and one cannot ask for more, that is the basic purpose of most people getting into this industry, to get profit and add more value to their wealth or money they own.
232  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: advice for a beginner on: April 02, 2024, 06:12:27 PM
Yes, as a beginner, it is advisable to continue seeking opinion from different angles I would have told you to calm down and watch how reading goes and fully understand it and read more post in the forum consigning Trading discussions, so you can be able to get the full understanding on  what you really want before going into trading fully. If you continue trading without understanding it better, you will end up losing more. asking question is a good decision for you and also take your time and make more research on Trading properly.

Taking time is one of the most important things one needs to do when they are learning something that involves finances like trading. You can't expect to become an expert trader within a month when you haven't even read or understood much about trading and the market. People who manage to become good traders, in the long run, tend to start learning from the initial stage and give a lot of time to their learning process before they get into the live trading part.

Most newbie traders these days make the mistake of entering the market when they are still learning. They feel they can start earning money while they are learning and it will be a win-win situation for them but it doesn't work that way. You first have to learn and understand everything, and once you feel you have a good grasp on everything, that is when you can decide to get into the real thing.
233  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why most of Exchanges FAIL ? on: April 02, 2024, 05:56:13 PM
If there are exchanges that fail in this field of the crypto space, it is because the volume of traders is low. Of course, if there are no buyers entering an exchange, no funds will enter the exchange.

It's no different when you set up a casino; if there are no gamblers to enter money to play in the casino, the casino will not be able to survive. The same is the case with the exchange, especially if the competition in the market is intense.

That's not always the case with exchanges or other platforms failing. In this industry, a lot of projects including exchanges have failed in the past because of a lack of proper management from their owners or CEOs they mismanaged the funds of their customers which caused issues for the platform and such platforms went bankrupt or started losing interest from traders and investors when the news surpassed about what happened.

FTX is a very big example of that where SBF (Sam Bankman Fried) misused the funds of its customers and he was caught for that and recently was sentenced I believe 20 or something years in prison. After what he did, the exchange failed miserably and a lot of people lost a lot of money because of it.

Another example of mismanagement was LUNA, though it wasn't an exchange but the project failed due to poor management and bad decisions.
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Dreams of a Bitcoin Circular Economy in my Country on: April 02, 2024, 05:30:45 PM
I'm far from being able to experience that because our government isn't very friendly with Bitcoin and digital currencies, you can't even use your bank account for transactions involving cryptocurrencies in my country because if they come to know about it, your account will be blocked and your funds will be held and they will ask you for proof and many other things to have it clear and that will only happen if you prove it to them that you aren't dealing in cryptocurrencies. It's ridiculous but it is what it is.

Maybe in the far future, we may see some changes when government officials are changed and new people with new mindsets come in power who might value technology and growth of this sector within the country and allow people to use cryptocurrencies and all other digital currencies without any problems.

Regulations are not a problem, but it should at least be allowed.
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DO NOT BRAG ABOUT YOUR BITCOIN on: April 02, 2024, 05:22:22 PM
While I agree that everybody should just keep to themselves how much Bitcoin they own, if somebody is held at gunpoint or at knifepoint, it doesn't anymore matter which wallet you're using, or whether it is multi-sig or not, or whether you have a copy of your seed phrase or some other backup. It's either your life or you cough up those information.

Perhaps it will help if your coins are stored in different wallets. If such a thing happens, God forbid, you will give the information of only one wallet.

I agree with this. Keeping all your eggs in one basket no matter how strong it is can always cause problems if something happens with the basket. Similarly, if you are keeping all your Bitcoin or other assets in a single wallet, you are making a mistake and that is now how you should be doing this, but instead, create multiple wallets and split your assets in those wallets and make sure you use very secure wallets so that your funds stay safe and in case something bad happens, you won't lose all the funds.

One should also make sure that they are backing up their wallets in different devices and aren't keeping all the keys and phrases in one place because then it wouldn't make any sense. If someone puts a gun on your head and asks you to open all the wallets with those keys, you won't have a say.

This is why, security must be the first priority, and after that, privacy. As OP said, don't discuss your finances with anyone no matter how close they are to you.

Today, RCB is facing LSG at their home ground. RCB lost the last match at this venue because of their poor batting and bowling display.
Because Super Giants won their last match with a very good run target and Royal Challengers lost their last match against Knight Riders but if you see the performance of Virat Kohli in the last match, he Preformed  very well and completed his half century with continue of their inning .  And this time too we hope they will perform well and win this match. Suspense will build until the match is over. Now let see who team will win this match.

Yeah in both Matches Virat Kohli looking in great form and I thinkhe will perform today again. In batting point of view Royal Challengers Bangalore is very strong but their bowling is not too good. Lucknow is looking very weak team in this tournament and their first matches was not impressive.

Match 15: Royal Challenger Bangalore VS Lucknow Super Giants

Here is my prediction

Toss Win: Royal Challenger Bengaluru
Team Win: Royal Challengers Bengaluru
Best Batsman: Virat Kohli
Best Bowler: Yash Dayal

Unfortunately I missed match#13, I knew I will miss a few but really did not want to miss the predictions. Anyway, match#14 and #15 in advance.

Yeah it's better to predict two or three match at once. Hence there is no gap between matches and everyday one or two matches being played so sometimes it's become difficult to make a prediction posts on time. I also missed some matches prediction.

Match#14 Mumbai Indians vs Rajasthan Royals

Toss Win:  Mumbai Indians
Team win:  Rajasthan Royals
Best Batsmen :  Sanju Samson
Best bowler:  Jasprit Bumrah

238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: R7 Promotions IPL CONTEST2024 🏏 & DISCUSSION on: March 31, 2024, 01:04:19 PM
unfortunately I have missed the first match prediction as I was busy in some other works. look like Sunrises Hyderabad losing today match. The target is not big like their previous match. Pitch is not looking good for batting. 49 runs required in 30 balls which is chasable because Gujarat have 8 wickets left.

Delhi Capitals against Chennai Super Kings

Toss Win: Chennai Super Kings
Team Win: Chennai Super Kings
Best Batsman: Rachin Ravendra
Best Bowler: Ravindra Jadeja

Many congratulations to "Compromise me" on standing out in this competition and be on the top. I hope you must have got the winning amount as there has been no update after this. By the way i just saw this update now.

Also, all credit goes to you for hosting such a good contest. Although i only managed to get 250 points but still it was a good game. I am also participating in your other IPL contest R7 Promotions IPL CONTEST2024 🏏 & DISCUSSION and i hope to win that one.   Wink

Yes he got his prize and he requested to hide the transaction details. This why I have not added transaction here. Anyway It was a very good contest but IPL contest is bigger one and also rewards is 100$ which is somehow looking better than this one. I love to see that many high class profiles are taking interest in IPL contest.
240  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Bitget Wallet Reviews on: March 30, 2024, 02:54:07 PM

Really appreciate the guidance on the airdrop however I am more interested to know if this is a closed source or open source wallet ?
As you must know that trust wallet is also being widely used for many people but it is not recommended as it is a closed source.

You can read this article. I think this article have all your questions answes

https://web3.bitget.com/en/blog/articles/bitkeep-the-most-secure-and-convenient-web3-0-wallet

My other question was how do you compare it with Unstoppable Wallet and is it worth switching to bitget wallet if anyone using unstoppable wallet ? I mean I do not want to transfer my funds only to get this airdrop but to store them here for long term. Is it worth storing coins here ?

As far my experience I think Unstoppable wallet is best one for storing altcoins and I don't see any other wallet which is better than this one. I cannot compare any other wallet woth Unstoppable. I will not recommend to move your fund to bitget wallet.
