221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHICH COIN IS THE NEXT ETHEREUM ? on: February 13, 2021, 12:29:42 AM
The question is asked many times by people who are late after the succeed of ethereum. Nothing can beat ethereum for now, the one that makes it bad is its high gas fees. Eth2 is just the beginning. There is lot of promising coin outside there, but we just can't replace ethereum because we love to use it. I personally love it because it's make massive impact on cryptoverse. It's make me understand how to create token and how to start an ico.

But it's not impossible one day someone build technology better than vitalik did.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is It Still Profitable To Mine Cryptos In 2021 on: February 12, 2021, 06:16:14 AM
Individual miners are killed by the companies. they're running their tons of rigs and process the blocks by themselves. In other words, it's better to invest on your time to learn and hone trading skill than buying an expensive mining rig. It's not profitable anymore except you run more than 10 asic miner.
And the most important thing is, it's not good for the earth lol. The usage of electricity is too high. I better invest on a pos coin because I love the earth.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥 [ANN] CashPay :E-Commerce Marketplace Powered by Cryptocurrency 🔥 on: February 12, 2021, 02:47:15 AM
60% of 40.000.000 total supply is 24million dollar if token price is $1. Do you guys think that $24m is enough to develop a marketplace? Have you do some research about how much money a unicorn online marketplace burn to get loyal users or to do massive marketing?
I am not trying to be pessimistic, but I just want to hear from the team, do you guys planning to raise more funds from institution investors in the future?
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: "[ANN][PRE-ICO] BUZZSHOW – FULLY DEVELOPED REWARD BASED VIDEO SOCIAL NETWORK" on: February 12, 2021, 12:00:00 AM
BuzzShow has just announced that celebrity and Latino music artist, Brandon and manager Altaira Aragones a.k.a “Flacco the Kid” and “TiaMundoNYC” respectively have joined the BuzzShow platform. The young rising star and Altaira with 100K combined followers on Instagram joined BuzzShow because, as they said: “We have been looking for a new type of social media based on fair reward sharing, not only for us as artists but also for our followers. On top of that, we were concerned about the recent violations of user data. So, when we discovered Buzzshow it was a no brainer for us. We were in!”
Jay van den Berg, CBDO of Buzzshow says: “Now that both Brandon and Clair have joined BuzzShow, all of their fans will be able to watch their videos on BuzzShow and earn Goldies just for doing that. Needless to say, that we’re all pretty chuffed about them joining our network of influencers. It confirms that people, and especially video influencers, are starting to actively look for alternatives to the legacy social media platforms. This trend, combined with our generous Referral Campaign, handing out hefty bonuses both for Influencers and their followers, is expected to cause the Buzzshow user base to surge.”

This is bullish! The more influencers joining buzzshow platform, the traffic of their followers to come to the app. I just hoping increase of users comparable with perfection of function on feature app.
I am following buzzshow for years. Thank you for keep on track.
225  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My 1 month testing trade result $500 profit on: February 11, 2021, 01:47:33 PM
The real enemy for all trader is emotion. I am happy for your result. it means you are the winner on controlling your own emotion, especially if you do a futures trading.
I stop doing trading for a while now because few days ago i lost all my deposit money when i did futures trading on kucoin. it's all my fault, i take all order position based solely on intuition just because i win it in the first time. now i understand, we have to have our own rules on trading.
my rules to share is :
1. don't be too confident, the market doesn't move your way
2. never trade on futures (except you can make constant profit on spot trading for months)
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it worth it to mine doge? on: February 11, 2021, 09:12:16 AM
Doge is useful, even as a meme coin it doesn't stop this coin from getting much love in crypto community, if you have the right asic miner to mine then I suggest you should start mining as soon as possible, it's a good coin to hold even if you don't have bitcoin and Ethereum
Just curious, what makes people loves doge? I think it's all about profit. If any people start to say they loves dog because it's fun in 2021 I am sure it's bullshit. It's all about the money hype.
It is different when we go back to few years ago, people are really collecting doges in their wallet just because they want it, even they now doges is just a meme coin and have no real technologies or future development, or use case.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Help Coins [HCS] CHARITABLE GIVING , BINANCE SMART CHAIN on: February 11, 2021, 03:49:14 AM
Hi, i have browse all information about your project and read any words on the website. I think you missed one thing, a charity coin project should to apply transparency. How can people donate to something they don't now who run it.
I can't find any information about the founder or the team which is the core information that should be there.
You can donate everywhere anonymously, but you can't do a charity campaign without your real identity.

Btw it's a very interesting idea.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crash in Trading on: February 10, 2021, 11:22:40 PM
I think it depends on the volume of altcoins you trade. If you trying to selling an altcoin that have low volume or marketcap it's hard to sell it in one price. Especially if you want to sell some big amount.
But if you try to sell altcoin with big volume on exchanges like eth, xrp or anything that have ten of millions dollar volume, the case will be different.
229  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking a loan to buy Bitcoin? on: February 10, 2021, 01:03:35 PM
The volatility will kill from the inside as a loaner.
This is not the first time bitcoin sky rocketing, it's happen almost in every halving. And you know what exactly happen after the bullish trend, yes, if it's not stable it's going down.
I just want to warn you to never invest money you can't afford to lose. Always use some cold money to invest on something risky like cryptocurrency.

231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Disadvantages of Bitcoin on: February 09, 2021, 02:23:05 PM
If you refer bitcoin anonymous as a global currency nowadays is disadvantage, then yes, it's a problem.
When police can't track who buy ilegal stuff on the internet, or they use bitcoin for money laundering, I agree that's a disadvantage of bitcoin.
But besides its, I thank God  it's not only anonymous, it's also naked. Everyone can see and track transactions everywhere, everytime.

This is how Satoshi Nakamoto reveal 'how anonymous are bitcoin' in technical side
> Can nodes on the network tell from which and or to which bitcoin
> address coins are being sent? Do blocks contain a history of where
> bitcoins have been transfered to and from?

Bitcoins are sent to and from bitcoin addresses, which are essentially random numbers with no identifying information.

When you send to an IP address, the transaction is still written to a bitcoin address.  The IP address is only used to connect to the recipient's computer to request a fresh bitcoin address, give the transaction directly to the recipient and get a confirmation.

Blocks contain a history of the bitcoin addresses that a coin has been transferred to.  If the identities of the people using the bitcoin addresses are not known and each address is used only once, then this information only reveals that some unknown person transferred some amount to someone else.

The possibility to be anonymous or pseudonymous relies on you not revealing any identifying information about yourself in connection with the bitcoin addresses you use.  If you post your bitcoin address on the web, then you're associating that address and any transactions with it with the name you posted under.  If you posted under a handle that you haven't associated with your real identity, then you're still pseudonymous.

For greater privacy, it's best to use bitcoin addresses only once.  You can change addresses as often as you want using Options->Change Your Address.  Transfers by IP address automatically use a new bitcoin address each time.

> Can nodes tell which bitcoin addresses belong to which IP addresses?

No.

> Is there a command line option to enable the sock proxy the first
> time that bitcoin starts?

In the next release (version 0.2), the command line to run it through a proxy from the first time is:
bitcoin -proxy=127.0.0.1:9050

The problem for TOR is that the IRC server which Bitcoin uses to initially discover other nodes bans the TOR exit nodes, as all IRC servers do.  If you've already connected once before then you're already seeded, but for the first time, you'd need to provide the address of a node as such:
bitcoin -proxy=127.0.0.1:9050 -addnode=<someipaddress>

If someone running a node with a static IP address that can accept incoming connections could post their IP to use for -addnode, that would be great.

> What happens if you send bitcoins to an IP address that has multiple
> clients connected through network address translation (NAT)?

Whichever one you've set your NAT to forward port 8333 to will receive it.  If your router can change the port number when it forwards, you could allow more than one client to receive.  For instance, if port 8334 forwards to a computer's port 8333, then senders could send to "x.x.x.x:8334"

If your NAT can't translate port numbers, there currently isn't a command line option to change the incoming port that bitcoin binds to, but I'll look into it.

232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] BITDEGREE - Revolutionizing education with blockchain on: May 01, 2019, 12:00:04 PM
I have just started browsing to learning web development and found bitdegree's site. It is very very complete and comfortable website to start learning any programming languages.
I don't even know bitdegree have it's own token until I see the payment method. And then I looked up on cmc, and found this Ann thread.

Really helping. Thank you for making this website. I really appreciate it.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: "[ANN][PRE-ICO] BUZZSHOW – FULLY DEVELOPED REWARD BASED VIDEO SOCIAL NETWORK" on: April 26, 2019, 02:55:00 PM
I actually thing, they don't really doing delays on exchanges listing. They clearly don't have an exact/confirmed time from the exchanges they negotiate with of when GLDY will be listed.
What you guys hoping for exchanges listing? an instant sell? Who will buy it? No one will buy GLDY until they have a real value. Where this value come from? A working product.
I appreciate on what they did with the platform's update. But still, it's not enough. only articles spread regularly. No marketing, no ads. Only us in this thread and telegram channel knows this project.

The best question to ask is, "Hey team, are you still on the track?"
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Populous World GOLD POKEN 'XAUp' Sale on: April 21, 2019, 12:29:14 PM
Distribution is schedule for today and from what i can see, the day is still very young so try calm your blood a bit, once distribution start trust me you will know Wink
Peoples need to wait patiently, Token will soon be distributed, according to the calendar, today will begin.
There is no active communication from the manager, you can complain if after the schedule, still not distribution happens.
But I doubt that, this project is reputable, they will follow the schedule IMO.
Most active place to get in touch with populous team is slack channel, but last time I've heard they don't accept new member anymore. Me too, I can't login anymore to populous slack channel. I don't know why.
Only one place to go to make your concerns readable to the team is Twitter. You can write anything you want on their tweets. Populous account doesn't active everyday, but I am sure they read anything there.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best mobile crypto wallet? on: April 16, 2019, 01:53:13 AM
You already used trust wallet as your mobile wallet, why you need another one?
For me, crypto wallet especially mobile wallet is all about thing to secure your fund. Trust wallet has been acquired by binance last year, and binance is one of the most trusted crypto company in the world. No doubt it can be the best one with all function coming soon, like binance dex.

Does the old cards still works or we need new ones?
There is a live Q n A with Boris, the CEO now on mnx telegram channel. Why don't you go there and read all information or ask something and hope for the answer directly from the CEO.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Populous World GOLD POKEN 'XAUp' Sale on: April 08, 2019, 11:17:07 PM
I really appreciate how bounty manager manage XAUp bounty very well. But..
Where is 20,000ppt from bounty allocation gone?
Signature campaign allocation should be 30,000ppt if you calculate 40% from 75,000ppt bounty.
Each twitter and LinkedIn campaign have 30% from 75,000.  It should be :
Signature 40% = 30,000ppt
Twitter 30% = 22,500ppt
LinkedIn  30% = 22,500

No one realised it? Only me?  Huh

This should be the answer to all those who talk sh*t on platforms about PPT and team. People think everything is too easy to do, I have always been a supporter of PPT and holder from long term. This is the time for the rise of exchanges and hopefully we will see the announce date soon. This is a great news for PXT and XAUp.
And this is it! http://exchange.populous.world/
Also someone started a thread on populous forum which  you can give your top 10 coins/tokens you would like to see listed on PopEX: https://forum.populous.world/index.php/topic,1043.0.html

Whoa! Nice to see that populous exchange is live already <3 but is it only me who is having trouble getting into the secure version of website (https)?
It's just a beta version. Once they ready to launch the live and "secure" version of populous exchange, I am sure it will be announce on every media they have. I see populous twitter have no update from last month, just keep positive, maybe team are busy to update something and preparing something big to announce.

ATLANT is most stable coin. All go up and just ATLANT 2 cent  Cheesy

LOL.. I hope the team has another strategy to attract investors. they are more confident that Atlant will develop when legal aspects already exist. That is what I know
As per what team said repeatedly on telegram channel, the tech is ready. Once the legal aspects approved by regulators, they ready to launch a live and working platform.
