I would say this forum's seniors are the most trusted people I will take any kind of advice from. There are many of them working tirelessly for this community, not just to make money. You can see them all over the discussion boards. As far as media, they can sometimes be a little biased towards uplifting the coin/token they support, but not always. I personally follow some of them: https://cryptomining-blog.com/: Latest news and reviews of crypto mining rig/hardware/Asics etc...and also news about new coins and such. Bits Be Trippin' Youtube channel: This is one of the best source for all information regarding setting up miners (especially GPU rigs) LinkCryptomined Youtube Channel Link

Binance have moved their operational base to Malta, after Malta prime minister welcomed them via twitter. Malta seems very friendly towards companies dealing with cryptocurrency. The greatest challenge that is faced by cryptocurrency exchanges are laws and regulations from Govt. Malta may be the best place (right now) to build the foundation for your company. See Article

I see a lot of complaints already from different review sites, most of them says no reply to email or calls. are they all resolved? You have a good history in trading on localbitcoins : https://localbitcoins.com/accounts/profile/beingmrmerchant/ . But that wouldn't make people easily trust your exchange, with all that have been happening in India. All the best.

A couple of weeks ago, the Supreme Court directed all exchanges to file petitions only with the apex court and no other court. In the same hearing, it also said, it would pass the judgement on July 20, which will be 15 days after the date RBI had given Indian banks to terminate all business relationships with these exchanges. Now as the date for the hearing approaches, a remarkable change in exchanges is being observed. Earlier, they were full of righteous anger but as the days go by, they have taken to cajoling and pleading with the central bank. This change can be observed due to Supreme’s Court suggestion that the exchanges can try engaging with the central bank. As a representative from one exchange told news portal Quartz, “We already follow the strict know-your-customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML) guidelines and we have detailed that out in the application (to the RBI). Plus, we have also suggested measures that we are ready to take to improve the KYC-AML norms, such as including passport details as well. We are also ready to take any suggestion that the regulator has to offer that can address their concerns.” The exchanges are asking the central bank to not impose a blanket ban and instead penalise firms that are violating the norms. They have also put forward other suggestions such as adopting international best practices, including allowing financial products such as cryptocurrency insurance. The representative added, “These are to be taken up by the exchange and adds a layer of surety and customer protection in case of any mishap. All this can happen only if we come under a regulatory purview.” Kali Digital Eco-systems Private Limited, which was one of the first petitioners to drag the RBI to court said, “Considering the next date of the hearing in the supreme court is after July 06, 2018, KDEPL (Kali Digital Eco-systems Private Limited) requests your good office (RBI) to extend the time of three months granted in the captioned circular to at least Aug. 31, 2018.” Source: Crypto-news.in

Are they safe, If decentralized exchanges are good then why ppl are using centralized exchanges?
Decentralized exchanges are mostly based on ethereum and eth tokens. People prefer the usual ones like poloniex or binance because they have a lot more different markets to chose from. Decentralized exchanges are more safer in my opinion because there is no intermediary and all works based on smart contracts. There are many famous ones like etherdelta and I recently saw a new one called airswap. As always, do your research before sending your coins/token to an exchange.

Original price for S9 + PSU - 1500 USD , that is roughly 1L INR, after adding 40% GST and the shipping charges the miners will cost 1.4-1.45L
Your offer is 1.85 L , which is not really attractive as far as a buyer is concerned, he can get them for 750 USD + GST + Tax if he needs to buy one.

Where should I put my coins to make them safe, as exchange security may get compromised.
Try to store large amount of coins in the form of paperwallet (You can generate one from https://www.bitaddress.org/), you can also store them in hardware wallets (ledger) or cold (offline) wallets (Electrum, Jaxx etc.)

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) today summoned actress Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra for his involvement in the Bitcoin scam case. He was summoned in Mumbai to record his statement in the case. During their investigation, Pune police's cyber crime cell and a team of ED officials found that Raj Kundra and other film celebrities were involved in promoting a Bitcoin scheme floated by Amit Bhardwaj - owner of Gatbitcoin.com. Bhardwaj had duped thousands of investors under his scheme, a senior ED official said. He was arrested by Pune police a few months ago. Kundra's role in the scam, be it his involvement as an investor or any other role, will be determined after his statement is examined. News Link

I am very skeptical about this wallet. The ones I use are mymonero and monerujo .. I also run a localnode with GUI wallet.
I don't understand the whole concept behind referal bonus on a wallet, that too for monero.
I would not deposit any XMR or use it as a wallet under any circumstances.

Page is not blocked when I try to access it. I also use bitdefender. Not sure why it happens to you. May be try running malwarebytes to see if your pc is already infected?

I guess your card (GT250) is too old to mine XMR. I think you bought a second hand computer because that card is like really old (2009).
The only way to learn and understand mining with this setup may be to read this book : Mastering Bitcoin by Andreas M. Antonopoulos
Chapter 8: Mining and consensus, there is a very simplified Proof-of-Work algorithm implementation in Python.
Note that XMR and BTC uses different algorithm (Cryptonight and SHA-256, respectively). But you ll still get the hang of it from this book, I guess its a good start. Good luck!

I don't think mining xmr through a web browser is efficient enough to make up even for the electricity costs. When mining through a pool the daily payout is very low (using an average cpu or gpu) - one can ofcourse do it as to support the network or simply for fun.
The very fact that they asked you to invite members is to get ads money through all the impressions, therefore obvious scam trying to make some google ads money. Don't waste your time trying to withdraw or get in touch with them.
Generally, all cloud mining and such are scam only.

Exodus is a nice online wallet if you are looking to store them on your pc/laptop. https://www.exodus.io/. You can also use Jaxx Wallet , https://jaxx.io/Both these I have used personally and haven't had a problem with it. One thing to keep in mind, when using shapeshift builtin in exodus..sometimes the exchange gets stuck. you might want to go and do it in some exchange like poloniex or binance if urgent. You are welcome BTC 1Guvnor11hMrZNQzirgrDgvdiNQSLPUiKX

That is the purpose of this forum. Even though it seems like there are 10 ANN threads and Bounty threads posted/hour and mostly scams. I don't see the need to make another forum and no one will get the exposure to their projects as much as they get here. There are many ways to promote yours like sig campaigns and posting a very well made ANN Thread is important too.
Just my opinion.

I like your store, so many cool stuff and great designs. I live in India so it will be difficult to buy from you as the customs will rip me apart. Anyway, I Just want to share some info (in case you are not already aware). The new (245th) round auction (selling forum ad space) is going on now, you can check it and may be advertise your store through it. Goodluck! Hi, can someone give me the follwoing datas: How much btc/hour How much consumption/hour
(No, i don't want to mine btc, it's for a project...) I searched all over the internet and found nothing...
Even though I don't understand entirely what you are asking, I think you need to check the hashrate of rx 480?. May be you can download old miner such as guiminer, set it up and run it locally, I am not sure about trying to connect to any pool with it, as the pool will only reject every share.
