221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: FTT comeback on: April 16, 2023, 09:02:33 PM
I think this is a bad idea, the questions are: who will trade on the exchange?, who will be the market maker? who will manage the exchange plus the operation? what happens to $FTT tokens and other illiquid tokens? Are they going to launch a new token?

From what I read from creditors, they do not want the exchange to come back because it is damaged good already and some of the big users have moved on and will require a lot of incentives to see them move back to the exchange to trade. Why not sell the exchange to another person and deploy the technology elsewhere or put it under new management
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth could perform better due to deflationary on: April 16, 2023, 08:57:16 PM
I think the deflationary talk is just another pumpalogy to allow people to keep believing in Ethereum, I don't see how this is going to have an effect on the price long term, there are a lot of projects in the space offering what Ethereum doesn't have especially the L2 and I can foresee in future when these L2 have moved to Beta, they will stop using Ethereum for gas but will opt for their own tokens.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your take on the "seasons" topic? on: April 15, 2023, 11:58:30 AM
Altcoin season is real, it is the time that any shit, I mean shitcoin will pump hard and one of the things that accompanied it, is that a high number of scam coins will enter the space and people will lose money to them. It is the peak of the bull market where people stop using commonsense including VCs throwing money at any shining thing in the space
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto banks replace traditional banks soon on: April 15, 2023, 11:49:05 AM
I can't say for certain but the likelihood of this happening is very high, Crypto is becoming well-capitalized and the quality  of people joining the space has improved significantly recently, all we need is a Government that will indeed be Crypto-friendly that will open some of these difficult doors that are unreachable before and also a Crypto_friendly regulation that will guide us into the future, if/when this happens the traditional banking sector is there for taking
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Step by step in " DOING YOUR OWN RESEARCH" on: April 15, 2023, 11:43:15 AM
Excellent work, the breakdown is good but for me, the two main things I look for in a project are the quality of the team and the VCs backing the project, I do not take projects that had not raised any funds seriously, back in the days when 3AC fund was doing fine, all I do is to look into their portfolio and look for projects that have dumped close to the VC or Private sale price and buy, these VCs, the good ones would have done their due diligence before investing into these projects all I need to do is to position myself and wait for the pumpapology to occur and scale out my positions. The issue now is that we don't have many thesis-driven funds in the space, most of them are now lazy to do their due diligence, they just spread their net and wait for the ones to give them 100X
226  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can I earn only from cryptocurrencies? on: April 13, 2023, 09:35:47 PM
I think the poll misses one other option, Crypto is my main source of income. I still do other things but my main income from Crypto is 80% of my income, though I spent like 20% of my time here. This is a Pareto principle. I have a farm and into real estate which takes most of my time. The truth is that if one gets it right, there is nowhere in the world where you can get the same level of return on investment (ROI) you get from Crypto. Crypto has liberated a lot of people
227  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Being Russia and Russian now on: April 13, 2023, 08:47:26 PM
I think Russia has done her assignment before embarking on this war, the funny thing about this sanction is that there are a lot of loopholes in it like allowing some countries to still buy Russian oil which makes Russia find a way around it. I am not saying what Russia did is right but I just feel the loser here is Ukraine, they allowed America to use them as a pawn, anyone with basic commonsense will know this is the hand of Esau and Voice of Jacob. I don't see how they come out of this useless war a winner, it is going to take years for them to recover, if at all. I also feel what hinders the success of these sanctions is the awakening of China and India, both are now big markets and don't fear or need to toe the line of America again but to protect their interest
228  Economy / Economics / Re: Quit borrowing on: April 13, 2023, 08:35:17 PM
Debt is becoming a major issue now, not just in America but all over the world, people's incomes remain stagnant and inflation is catching up with their income, what we used to buy for $1 is now worth $2 and it is even worse in the developing countries because the purchasing power of their local currencies has lost value against USD plus high inflation. What I used to advise people is the adjustment of lifestyle, why drive a car, when you can take the bus, if you are used to eating out, cook your food at home, just look for ways to cut costs, another thing don't be lazy, find ways to reduce your cost of living in a legitimate means. It is a great feeling when you know you are free of debt, debt is a trap and most people that enter into it never get out of it, if you used it as leverage to scale up your investment or business very good but consumption is bad.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why does Cardano get so much hate? on: April 11, 2023, 07:47:17 PM
The issue with Cardano is that it over-promised and under-delivered, If you look at the Cardano ecosystem, you can't point to any project on it that is worthwhile, no good DEX or Perp on it and when you look at AVAX, Solana, Polygon, Tron, etc even some of these new L2 they are far ahead of Cardono in terms of development. This is not what people were promised, it is a ghost chain and has a multi-billion Dollar Market-cap
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After FTX collapse, some call for a return to decentralized roots on: April 11, 2023, 07:25:28 PM
This has always been the case every time one big Centralised exchange collapse in the space, but there is still a huge gap between DEX and CEX despite all the recent gains for DEX recently, they still have a long way to go before they fill this gap. The fiat onramp is a big problem for DEX they don't know how to solve this issue for now and the issue of liquidity has not been fully resolved despite the success of AMM model. For me, we can just wish for DEX to take control but the present still belongs to CEX
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not sleep on DEx Exchange tokens on: April 11, 2023, 07:18:47 PM
I do agree with you on this, I can see DEX exchanges gaining more market share as time goes by, and as they gain more market share the value of their tokens, they are likely going to keep appreciating, exchange tokens are just one of the selected few tokens in the space that have use cases unlike most of the useless governance tokens we have in the space
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Arb below 1$ on: April 09, 2023, 07:40:42 PM
Arbritum team has not built on and managed their recent success very well, the way the team went about their recent governance vote is bad and has created a bit of FUD, I don't see any incentives or narratives to make the price pump. Long-term $ARB will do well, it has a strong community that is striving, and strong VCs that will protect their investment, so it is a long-term buy and hold
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your opinion on shikoku inu? on: April 09, 2023, 07:26:11 PM
Just another shitcoin, I think people need to be careful with all these Shitcoins and memes, because one or two of them have seen recent success does not mean that the remaining 1000 plus that are on the market will see success. I have not seen success with any of these projects most of them will just rug and dump on you, for every Dogecoin, there are over 1000 failed memes project
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sushiswap hacked on: April 09, 2023, 07:18:32 PM
With all these fiascos going on with Sushi the future of Sushi is not bright, after they fork Uniswap most of their recent development has not been successful and this can't continue, they need to differentiate from being a fork, the recent hack is a major dent on the platform, SushiSwap has been losing market share to other DEXes and has been losing steam, remember some of these big CEXes like Bittrex, Poloniex, Houbi but have not scale with time, this could be the fate of Sushi with time
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Space ID token? on: April 08, 2023, 06:43:28 PM
I am very positive about this project, this seems like one of Binance's favorite projects, and CZ will make it succeed. How many of the projects on the Binance Launchpad have failed to deliver, though this is subjective in terms of price performance they have delivered for investors, for this reason I am positive about this project
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all new Projects are bad, So take the Risk on: April 08, 2023, 06:36:52 PM
The thing about Crypto is that some projects have good developers but are bad in marketing, some have decent developers but the team have a good marketing team, some are just basic scam but the ones to look out for are the ones with good developers and a sound marketing team. The thing is that no risk, no reward, you need to take risks but try to make it a calculated risk.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Chinese coins pump coming? on: April 08, 2023, 06:31:34 PM
I think this is one of the narratives in the space that is going to be front-run again, this is a positive thing for the space when most of the Western countries are closing their doors to Crypto, China via Hong Kong is opening her door, but out of all the tokens on the list, it is only $CFX that I am most bullish on and I think it is going to be pushed as the CHina Ethereum whether it delivers is another million dollar question
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metamask - new feature that detects scams on: April 07, 2023, 07:53:34 PM
I think this is a good step in the right direction, most people have lost money because of these scam links and once you click it and it gains access to your account they drain everything and even anything you sent to this address later. People have been asking the MetaMask team to do more in this direction, though this won't eradicate scams but will surely help reduce scam incidence where people lose money to these scam links

240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When is the next altcoin season? on: March 28, 2023, 02:04:52 PM
The thing is that the whole talk of Altcoin season is premature, it won't exist until the next Bitcoin bull run. The issue now is that with what is happening in the world presently coupled with the war the US regulators are waging against Crypto it is difficult to say this cycle won't be different. But with all indications, it seems we have bottomed out, if there is any pullback, it is a great opportunity to buy for a long-term hold. One thing to note, not all the Altcoins that did well in the last bull market will perform well in the next, reason being that there are a lot of bag holders waiting to dump and exit the market
