221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What old coins are you still holding? on: June 26, 2020, 10:25:50 AM
The average old altcoin that I was holding was the result of bounty work and until now the price was still low or there was no market so I could not help holding it. besides that there are some altcoins that I also bought and my prediction is wrong. I don't want to sell them if their development is in line with the concept written in the whitepaper
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hello everyone! Do you still have confidence in altcoin? on: June 25, 2020, 01:40:11 AM
Of course there is still trust. You can't all invest in bitcoin. I really like the idea or the new concept that was created even though it is at risk of failure, but we should be able to support the new concepts that exist in altcoin because it can provide many benefits to the project someday be successful. prices will increase
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the best time on: June 25, 2020, 01:30:35 AM
I think indeed many people are currently looking for jobs online through Google because many people are currently not working and crypto is the best solution. I hope that after Covid-19 ends, then more people will invest. yes, this is the best time to invest in crypto during the Corona pandemic.
When covid yesterday had a very significant decline and in my opinion not only crypto. the stock market is the same and people can take advantage of this, provided that their investments are in accordance with their financial proportions. and does not overburden monthly finances
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do when price is dump?? on: June 25, 2020, 01:21:52 AM
You are right, be patient and hold until the market recovers is a good decision but I prefer to keep all assets in USD because it has less loss and I will buy if the market in my opinion has reached its lowest point
When a dump occurs, we can indeed sell and switch to usd. but instead we ourselves have to invest in cryptocurrency which is good at buying. remember that when a dump occurs, of course, other altcoins also experience a very large decline
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all new project team can afford top exchanges on: June 23, 2020, 02:05:45 PM
The exchanges have become greedy middlemen. I think to list a coin at Binance you have to pay them 2 million dollars, or some ridiculous number like that. It just feels like such a waste, money that should go into the project. Bitcoin in the beginning wouldn't had been able to listed in the begining.
The main thing is not in the Exchange, but in the concept because if we know that even a large Exchange can only survive at the beginning, it cannot provide many benefits, so the important thing is that the main concept becomes an important point. Paying exchanges is also not cheap right now, as you mentioned
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of repetitive projects and old ideas on: June 23, 2020, 01:59:46 PM
Many new altcoins will die in the future because there won't be many investors investing money on them and as we know it we have many scammers here who will keep creating useless tokens and coins, if you are a developer and you think you are serious enough then try as hard as possible to come out with something new and different, enough of repetitive projects and same old ideas

Bring in something NEW or don't bother at all
It depends on what we read that the project is included as a fictitious project or not because if we talk about fictitious projects, of course, what we will get is a project that is indeed just a mere copy of the existing project. from whitepaper to the whole. they only aim to scam investors
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Detective Community Populer? on: June 22, 2020, 11:45:37 AM
After a few 6 months I did not access BitCointalk, this month I tried to follow a campaign whose manager is Bounty Detective. Seeing the reviews here, I became sure to follow along with many successful projects and also fill my time which is still empty, hopefully bounty can provide many benefits participants
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which trading platforms do you use? on: June 22, 2020, 11:32:52 AM
I use Indodax, which is a trading platform in my country, there is a platform to trade and directly connect to our account, the interface there is very simple and Indodax also has ISO certification from the country.  Grin Grin
But now it looks like the exchange is getting a lot of bad talk due to their listings that don't pay attention to projects that are indeed strategic altcoin which in my opinion they are not good listings. I myself come from Indonesia already disappointed with the setbacks that occurred on the Indodax exchange  Cry
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The list of bounty projects that end in a scam on: June 22, 2020, 11:22:57 AM
From 2017 to the present, we have a lot of scam projects in this market. Too many for us to list them here, and I just remember a few scam campaigns in 2019 like Blockburn, Insure, Leasehold, Leadwallet ...
The list of projects that are scam today is so many that even myself, I have seen that there are so many projects that can survive only a matter of percent of the current number of project developments. very sad to see this where the interest of people with crypto is quite large, but just the opposite
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of Crytopcurrency on: June 19, 2020, 09:06:18 AM
The potential of cryptocurrency is still quite large where people still have confidence in cryptocurrency. all of them still believe that crypto is currently in the development stage and will become a new business industry. we must see this is a very good thing in the future
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETH better than BTC for payment? on: June 19, 2020, 08:25:53 AM
They are both good for payment the downside is bitcoin have higher fees and longer confirmation and ETH network sometimes will encounter network congestion and transaction with low gas will be stuck in the pending transaction, you should look for more alternative altcoin if you are going to put up a shop that accepts crypto.
ETH network is faster than BTC, of course you should not use low fee. If you use high fee, your transaction will be processed quickly. In contrast to Bitcoin, even though the fees used are high, I see the transactions in process still slow.
But our main consideration when making payments is costs. here the lower the cost of course people will choose it. we all know that at the moment ethereum also costs are quite high. should if it is specified in the reverse payment. but the ethereum platform was not made for payments
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much have you earned in one year on: June 18, 2020, 02:46:38 AM
Most of the projects I participated in previously did not pay, some ended in fraud and some have not been sent to date. last year or this year, I personally did not make much money from the bounty project.
well, this year it looks like the results we get are not like the previous years. so far, there are no projects that really pay high. maybe only the tycoon project that I heard paid quite expensive. it seems very difficult to make above $ 1000 for this year.
Agree that indeed for now it is very difficult for bounty participants to get great results. I myself have been inactive for the past 6 months and now I just opened a forum to follow the available campaigns. it seems that this work is no longer what it used to be
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ethereum investment for future ?? on: June 18, 2020, 02:39:01 AM
Ethereum does have potential, but at the moment I see that a large fee must be considered by many people using ethereum. Binance is now a preference for swaps because binaries are also good, low fees and large exchanges. confidence is quite high
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What future is expected for new altcoins? on: June 18, 2020, 02:29:28 AM
New altcoins might only end up dying if they cannot gain trust and support from the investors. 2017 has been very profitable for altcoins but within its next years, everything has changed. We can only trust investing in bitcoin today because even if its highly volatile, it will always have time to recover and reach another all time high price again.
altcoin is currently difficult to recover their prices, after going down they are difficult to return to their original prices, there are even projects that die because the price of their coins in the market is destroyed and I prefer to choose investments in the top coins too, like bitcoin, etherium and others
Difficult or not depends on the development of the altcoin. it does not mean that when there is a decline there is no increase in the future. some altcoins on which their platforms have been made show good progress.

236  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin volatility here to stay? on: October 25, 2019, 07:19:03 PM
I am a strong believer in HODL. I expected bitcoin volatility decreases as time goes by, I totally didn't expect such big price change in the past several days.

Is bitcoin volatility here to stay and not decrease?
Although many are wanting and hoping that bitcoins volatility to decrease, we can't deny the fact that volatility is bitcoins feature that we all know that bitcoins highly-volatile nature was emphasized experiencing high fluctuations and undermines bitcoins ability to function as a currency. There are lots of factors that explains why bitcoin is so volatile and we could consider answering your question. The factors are as follows: Market size, low liquidity, regulations, news events, shifting sentiment, unequal wealth, and key role of speculation.
Agree with you. that the volatility in the crypto market cannot be reduced because this has become a karatker which due to the factors you mentioned makes the price very easy to experience major changes every second. just like now bitcoin has experienced a big increase due to positive sentiment, one of which is the cause of crypto experiencing price changes
237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's worse: cigar addiction or gambling addiction on: October 25, 2019, 04:37:30 PM
Gambling addiction is very dangerous because it can make a lot of our property taken if we cannot control it. There have been many stories that prove where someone who became poor due to gambling. and in my opinion the right thing is we must be able to refrain from being trapped in these conditions. where gambling is just a game, don't use it to get income because it's so wrong.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: which are the hottest coins to invest in 2019? on: October 25, 2019, 02:41:14 PM
BNB is the most hype coins this year i think.
There are a lot of BNB usability on binance and it has a very good community so it won't fall too much.
Also binance has expand their exchange and build binance US which means BNB will enter another big exchange
In fact, I am cautious in investing because with the election of altcoin the hype is huge, it makes us trapped in a moment where we can get a big loss. BNB is included in this year where the hype bnb is large enough so that the increase occurred. but when it is not so desirable, prices can be ascertained
239  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin is not that good as currency? on: October 25, 2019, 12:36:58 PM
Cryptocurrency now has a stable coin concept which is an investment of fiat value, bitcoin is fluctuation not inflation or deflation. This feels complicated because too many things are related. Looking at it from the perspective of fiat and crypto money, I agree with what you're trying to say, it's just too complicated to understand.
Actually crypto is only a preference for payment, not a currency because obviously this is very detrimental for those of us who want to get these benefits. a number of times people now discuss a lot but I don't agree for bitcoin to be a currency. this will be a big problem later on due to limited supply
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What kind of Altcoins have a future? on: October 25, 2019, 11:10:54 AM
Coins with inactive developers without even following their roadmap will definitely die. There are projects which are hanging these days because of the market situation. Investors are also afraid to try new coins because most of them only end up as shitcoin. I'm sure that top coins with consistent price will still remain alive as long as there's continuous development.
What makes altcoin able to develop is the running of platforms and also the selection of strategic exchanges. because it can thus benefit. I am pretty sure that if there are projects that fit the two main aspects, they will not die, instead they will make a lot of new preferences for investment.
