221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reason for calling Bitcoin scam on: November 28, 2020, 10:40:20 PM
Why do people still think it is scam?
There are several reasons why people call or address bitcoin as a scam, it could be lack of much knowledge about bitcoin, or sometimes it maybe due to it high volatility of the market, like for example someone introduced them to bitcoin and the person was like invest now the price is low and that bitcoin will reach maybe $30k and so on, then fomo kicks in they invest and after investing the price of bitcoin starts going down, the value of their bitcoin in usd starts dropping they will definitely label bitcoin as a scam.
222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you scared? on: November 27, 2020, 10:01:02 PM
I do notice that some people naturally don’t allow bitcoin in any of their daily transactions or there daily activities even when it faster and easier they still not accept or permit it to there life, they still don’t prefer using it, I have noticed this a lot, Some classes of human,Sometimes when they are to receive money from another country like international transfer sometimes it takes 2 3 days to arrive,They will advise them to use bitcoin and they still don’t accept it even it faster and easier. How can we erase the negative thoughts of people over bitcoin? Nobody has any negative thoughts over dollars or there various currencies, We need to think about it.
I think lack of knowledge about bitcoin is the main reason why these set of people you are talking about don't use bitcoin, because if they do know about bitcoin and its use cases they won't sit around for two to three days before receiving money from international transfers, and there are also some set of humans who refuse to use bitcoin cause they see it like a scam, they don't trust it at all, since it involves money they don't want to loose their money to a digital currency that they can't hold with their bare hands.
223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be used instead of paper money on: November 27, 2020, 09:16:17 PM
It does need internet
We need to solve the transaction fee problem
I think this is one of the main reason why bitcoin can never be used as the paper money, without an internet connection there's no way you can send or receive bitcoin, unlike the paper money that won't require an internet connection to be available before any transactions can be done, so yeah there's no way bitcoin can ever be used like the paper money, also the transaction fees are just something else, yes bitcoin is fast but it's only for those who can afford to pay those high tx fees charged by the miners, for those who use low tx fees to transfer they tend to wait for a while before receiving it, sometimes a week, which is really bad.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I guess bounty hunters really kill projects on: November 27, 2020, 08:38:12 PM
The team should have make volumes and liquidity available for the project, why did they list on coinbene and p2pb2b exchange? What do you expect? If you think the project use case is good then hold, I can see that the team are planning to list on bigger exchange soon.
I was asking myself the same question, p2pb2b is a shady exchange and new projects listing on such exchange won't gain much attention from the market since alot of trader avoid going there to trade, and I also heard the team claimed to have enough money to list on bigger exchanges, but I'm still in shock on how they chose to list on p2pb2b, even if they don't have money to list on top exchanges like binance or kucoin, that shouldn't be the reason why they should list on p2pb2b,nevertheless the youc token use case is good, but I can't tell if they will survive for long in the market.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum remains the king of altcoins on: November 27, 2020, 08:26:08 PM
We have etherum bossing altcoins since time past and there has been non replica of any coin that has tried bossing etherum
Just like bitcoin is a king on its own, etherum remains a king on its own too.

Looking forward to the influence of bnb tokens, and okb tokens can have on etherum dominance.
Indeed Ethereum is the king of all other altcoins, the price alue it reached as of 2017 is remarkable, the Ethereum blockchain is like the breeding ground for most new projects, countless projects are running on the Ethereum blockchain, although lately alot of people have started doubting eth, they said Polkadot is better and indeed it is better, but we can't take anything away from Ethereum it has been the face of all altcoins for the past few years now, besides the ETH 2.0 will soon be launched, I'm hoping its going to solve the current problems facing the Ethereum blockchain.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: We need more bubbalexs and Hhampuzs in this space on: November 24, 2020, 11:01:55 PM
It is hard to trust the new guy to make good and deliver that is why a lot of people prefer to patronize bounty managers with proven track records to manage their campaigns professionally. Businesses prefer to hire experienced candidates instead of going for inexperienced ones to escape some unforseen issues. For new bounty managers, they should just providing good service but they can try to offer cheaper services for a while including discount so they can get recurring clients.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple Officially Adds Bank of America as Top RippleNet Member on: November 24, 2020, 10:45:24 PM
This is good news for all XRP holders and hodlers. Ripple products has always been made with mainstream banks in mind so it doesn't come as a surprise to see Bank of America making the list of top members on Ripplenet.

Meanwhile, as XRP remains at the $0.46 level, many large exchanges—including Ripple's ODL platforms—have been moving extremely large amounts of XRP: more than 310 million coins.
.

Ripple is no longer at $0.46 but touch $0.65 today. Check the update price on Coingecko.

229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple (XRP) Breaking out on: November 21, 2020, 10:48:04 PM
I do not own xrp coins. If I did own some, I would not hesitate to sell them off coz it's only a matter of time before their team starts to sell just to take profits. Ripple has been asleep for so long. It might touch $1 because the recent move is strong and broke the legendary $0.34 resistance level that was nearly impossible to break for years now.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum relies on Infura to communicate with it's tokens. Infura is CENTRALIZED on: November 16, 2020, 11:13:55 PM
Discrediting one project just to promote another doesn't sound good to me. Can't you just shill Blocknet without talking bad about Ethereum? I don't know how true it is that ethereum uses infura or whether infura itself is centralized but I fo know that ethereum is open source and resistant to censorship and centralization. Soon crypto projects would move to decentralized hosting and other services from centralized ones at that point, these shills would become obsolete.

233  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: FTX launches BTC/stock trading pairs on: October 30, 2020, 02:40:15 PM
FTX isn't the first crypto exchange to add stocks to their collection but it's a good move since its a trusted exchange and they have good amount of volume, demand and liquidity to make it work compared to much smaller exchanges. I'm not a big fan of trading stocks so it doesn't mean much to me. It also let's anyone who've always wanted to trade stocks and crypto from the from exchanges should be happy about the news.
234  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase launches its cryptocurrency Visa debit card in the US. 10/28/2020. on: October 30, 2020, 09:58:19 AM
It's not much of a good news for majority of the crypto community but should be a good one for the vast majority of coinbase users. There are already a couple of existing debit card projects in the space already. So coinbase isn't solving a problem. Rather, they are just making it more easy for their users to enjoy. I think crypto.com and swipe offers similar services as well. It's good news per se but mainly for coinbase users.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you think you are smart just know that some are smarter on: October 29, 2020, 04:49:49 PM
It's not the first time that I have seen or heard about incidents like this. These days, scammers are always looking for smart ways to scam people of their money. Just a few days again, I received an email about a uniswap airdrop (which I knew was fake). I checked the airdrop form included and it only requested for my email and my ETH address. They didn't ask for sensitive data like mnemonic phrases, private key or otherwise. So I was curious what they could do with it.
236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren thoughts on Bitcoin on: October 29, 2020, 12:56:03 AM
This is not the first time I have heard of Warren giving his opinion on bitcoin and crypto market as a whole and every time he does so, it always negative sentiment. I think he's just waiting to see if crypto will have a regulatory crackdown. Don't be surprised if we learn that he already bags filled with BTC. JP Morgan had a similar view a few years ago and just yesterday, they launched their own token and embrace crypto. So buffet would join the train soon.
237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Make your choice now! on: October 29, 2020, 12:31:50 AM
In this life, everybody has their own priorities and plans. So in order to take up a day job and also involve in crypto trading, then he/she needs to keep things organized and stay focused. If done right, the income that would come from crypto would make for a good residual income which can then be used for other endeavors or even add it to savings.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Values of Bitcoin & Altcoin are correlated on: October 28, 2020, 09:49:29 PM
What's your opinion guys?

In spite of the popularity of different altcoins in recent years, people tend to always pick Bitcoin as their safest bet when trading cryptocurrencies. My only problem lies here: Bitcoin pumps, altcoins dump.  Bitcoin dumps, then altcoins would still dump. People usually get scared in both situations and close all their altcoin positions.  That's what has been happening since the inception.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will BTC stay above $13,000 line from now on? on: October 28, 2020, 11:43:46 AM
I don't know for now but because of Bitcoin's BTC recent upside moves, I think the price is due for a correction back to $12.8k price levels. At the moment, Bitcoin is close to a critical monthly resistance. The same one that held back 2019 high before it started retracing back. If Bitcoin cant break it, the price will retrace back to the closest support. Additionally, The US market is like a few days away and legacy markets are always known to drop in times like that.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: October 27, 2020, 05:37:29 AM
I have been waiting for BNB price to drop to the support zones so I can get some for myself. The price right now is too high for me to get some. Will the price come down a bit to between $18 - $23. When next the market crashed, I will do myself a favour to buy some and hodl. Other exchanges need to learn from Binance.
