News! Someone has just given up their order from the 1st Batch of the chips. I have 248 168 chips for sale. If anyone is interested, please bid in the below format. The starting price of those chips is 0.9 BTC each. This auction ends in 24 hours from now, because i'm in a little hurry to gather the BTC paid back for the chips (have to pay the factory tomorrow!)

To recap, the chips will arrive in August. I've already received tracking number for the sample chips from Avalon. Yesterday, after one hour from receiving the tracking number, i've purchased 100 Klondike PCBs from the factory. They will arrive in a few (2-3) weeks.

Tocmai am primit informatia ca cineva a renuntat la comanda lui din primul lot de cipuri, care deja s-a comandat si deja am primit numar de tracking pentru cipurile de mostra, la acel lot. Dispun de 248 cipuri Avalon, care vor fi livrate in August. Cine doreste pozitia acestei persoane, va rog sa-mi trimiteti oferta la licitatie pe https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=189582.0, in format Nr Cipuri @ Nr BTC. Pretul de deschidere pentru aceste cipuri este de 0.09 BTC. Exemplu: 248 @ 0.09 BTC (bucata). Valoarea lor totala va fi de 22.32 BTC. @Zubilica: mersi de info detaliat si pentru timpul acordat pentru a structura informatia.
Din calculele tale, o placa cu 16 chip-uri Avalon iese cam la acelasi pret si performante cu un BFL de 5GHz.
Dar probabil ca chip-urile Avalon vor fi disponibile inaintea unui BFL, de asta ai mers pe aceasta varianta.
Dapp, EXACT asta incerc sa fac: 1: Sa ofer ceva Made In Romania, bun si ieftin 2: Sa-i fac de kkt pe cei de la BFL ca am aruncat 814 dolari pe un miner de 30GH/s si mi-au zis (indirect) ca vor livra cand vor livra. Asa raspuns nu am dat in viata mea la nimeni ca nu mi-am permis obraznicia. Daca ei isi permit, da-i dreq de aroganti. Multumesc, Zubilica, de comanda ta si de detaliile date mai sus. Se pare ca nu numai eu mi-am facut timp sa fac calculele intr-un Excel simplu  Totusi, as dori sa adaug ca voi avea oferta pentru 10 placi, deoarece mai multa lume cere acest lucru. Nu-i nimic, voi oferi un pret mai bun. Cat despre hosting, ofer acest lucru cu persoana dedicata pentru a supraveghea sistemul si la un comision de 10% (din puterea de minat), FARA alte costuri (set-up, energie electrica, personal, etc). |

1. Have you also considered doing the K1`s if not how about a K1 kit, I would love to have a go at these babies.
2. For those of us in first batch do you require us to order board on the website at this stage ?

1. Not yet, i have planty of work to do even with only the K16. But you could ask around (if you wish to help) and if there's enough demand, i'll create an offer for those too. 2. Yes, now would be a good time to oder batch 1 PCBs. You can place the order on the website, it's simple and easy. 3. No, because i also need to test the boards myself. I will create them from schematic, right here in Romania. I will be donating a fee to BKKCoins for every PCB assembled here, though. Already talked to him and we made a verbal deal. |

I still can't get it. If I order chips here, there's no guarantee that current batch will complete, so I risk just getting my coins back in a couple of days. If I order chips on the website (at the same price!) "it is ready to mine". Are you sure? if your order on the website it adds to this pool. but what you will receive in the end is ready to mine, but this group buy must complete Hi, I've tested the contact form while logged in and also while logged out. However, this group buy must finish to be able to offer complete miner. Ordering the chips is the most Safest way to know that you will receive the miner. I guess you have to risk it. Order and we'll see how it turns out. I have much faith that the batch will fill until the end of June. The 1st batch filled around the 21st of May, so you can guesstimate here... Yeah but how is he going to get the chips any faster? these where ordered from Avalon a few weeks back so it's going to be August for the chips and assembly then shipping in September, pretty cheap if you ask me compared to other asic manufacturers. That said anything coming in September will struggle to make a good ROI. True. Thanks for that th3joker. Also, i would rather struggle with Avalon chips and ROI than open a group-buy for BFL chips or make PCB for them.. Ask yourself this: is it too good to be true (avalon chips + pcb @ ~2.1 BTC)?? No. Is BFL too good to be true? Hell Yes! When is my March order going to be delivered BFL? Only God knows when.. Have i thrown out $814 on the window? Hell Yes! That's about it.. Is everyone take a bit too many things for granted on the DIYs? If DIY was so easy why BFL/Avalon have so many issues? DIY will have squat in customer support too. But its CHEAP so no one cares if/when it will work Good point. I also asked that question myself. But I also ordered chips en let them shop to burnin. I can make the PCB for you, probably cheaper than burnin.. As an info: nothing will pass to the customer without being tested. Cand poti face livrarea unui miner complet (chips+klondike 16 boards) ex: acesta , si cat costa transportul pana in Bucuresti? @t13hydra lasa pe pm un nr de contact te rog , sunt interesat de 7-8 bucati. Livrarea se poate face in Septembrie. depinde foarte mult de batch-ul de cipuri, care e inca deschis. Livrarea este 30-50 de lei in tara, depinde mult de greutatea finala a coletului. Stefan |

Got two questions.
1) Could you make a price for 10x Boards aswell?
2) Is the International Shipping price comprehensive of an insurance on possible damage/package lost?
Hi, 1. Unfortunately the prices refer to eighter a batch of 100 or 1000 pieces. Making a price for 10 pieces from a batch of 100 takes away very little incentive. Making a price for 10 pieces straight from the manufacturer boosts the price up to 150-200 eur. You could group with other people and order 50 pieces straight from my website. You get 20% off by ordering 50 pieces. Also, it would make sure we hit the 100 pieces target faster, so i can secure the funds for that (at least, if not for a 1000 pieces order). 2. The shipping does ot cover insurance as it will cost a lot more (+ $150). I will make a shipping option WITH insurance also, so you can choose exactly how you wish to receive your miner. I have spoken only to DHL for now, but i need quotations from FedEx and TNT too. There's also the option to keep them in hosting service. You can start earning coins as soon as the facory delivers the goods, i mean on the same day for a fee of 10% out of the miner's power. No additional costs exist here, the 10% covers all from electricity to employees. Steve |

salut! Am si eu o intrebare, ce se intampla daca nu se completeaza lista cu cele 10000 de cipuri? Mai ramane valabil grupul sau nu??
Deci ? Hmm, am niste discutii cu anumiti membrii al forumului. Se poate sa contopim batch-uri sau sa ma ajute cineva sa vand restul cipurilor pana la 10k. Totodata, site-ul va ajuta mult sa inchidem acest batch in timp util. Edit: mai bine as tine batch-ul deschis mai mult timp decat sa-l inchid si sa dau inapoi fondurile. E nasol sa te trezesti peste 3 saptamani ca ti s-au dat banii inapoi si trebuie sa te descurci din nou sa faci rost de cipuri. Cel putin asta e sfatul care l-am primit de la altii. |
