221  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to get accepted to signature campaign? on: October 22, 2017, 11:56:39 PM
Hello, I have not had any luck with getting accepted to any signature campaigns and was wondering what one could do in order to increase the likelihood of being accepted?
The number one reason and the most important is the quality of your posts. If you look at your posts they are very short and not on subject. Almost all the signatures have the rule of posts where they should be at least 75 characters wich means at least 7-10 words but thats like the minimum. You should check the members wich participated in campaigns and see how their posts looks and do the same thing. Be careful and do not copy paste posts because you are going to be banned on this forum

Would you mind telling me which of my October posts this would apply to? I just looked through all of my October posts and most (if not all) are over that 7-10 word limit and on topic for the discussion that they are responding to. Unless I am misunderstanding what is meant by "on topic." I am assuming that all of my posts about the taxable nature of crypto-currency is "on topic" given that the OPs were asking about taxes on crypto.

edit: legitimate question, not trying to be a dick
As I said the minimum is 75 characters(that about 15-20 words,my mistake) but you have to make longer post than that. Your posts are not on topic. I mean is a topic is a about a website that is a scam you dont make a post like " I can confirm this website is a scam. Definitely." I ask you if you would be a campaign manager would you pay someone for a post like this?
222  Economy / Economics / Re: BITCOIN misconceptions on: October 22, 2017, 11:50:33 PM
I personally think there is a long time until bitcoin is going to be used everyday to buy everything. It is very hard for local shops of coffe shops to accept bitcoin because the price is not stable. For the owner of a business the profit would be calculated at the end of the week/month. If the price of bitcoin is decreasing the profit is also descresing. Same when it is increasing. So it is a gamble for the owner.
I keep bitcoin as an investment for the future do I can make profit. I dont think I will ever spend my bitcoins to buy from shops in my town.
223  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Mobile Miner - Simple Android Mining v1.1 on: October 22, 2017, 11:39:34 PM
This is a SCAM. There is not way you can mine 10$ worth of bitcoin everyday only using your mobile phone. If that whould have been possible you could buy 100 phones for 20.000$ and recover your money in 20 days then make a 1000$ daily by doing nothing. It is a virus that downloads apps on your phone and stole you credit card informations and also stole your passwords. Be careful
224  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: New sophisticated scam in cloud mining, be wary. on: October 22, 2017, 11:34:05 PM
The website btcheat.com gives you spins in order to win at their slot machine. They can also take mining power from your CPU through your browser offering you 1 spin for every 2500 hashes. Their min payout is extremely huge 0.03 bitcoins. They increase your free spins you can claim automatically every three hours when you invite people to play there or to use their CPU power.

To me this is quite a sophisticated scam as you may think they get real money from your CPU mining but they don't have any ads at all.

This is just like many other cloud mining scams, be wary.
I actually didnt knew there exists such websites wich takes from you computer CPU when you acces a website. It is a pretty sophisticated technology wich is new and you can easily be fooled by some simple slots websites. Also I saw there are spinners websites where you can play with a spinner and ear bitcoin. I also think that are scams wich use your CPU for mining while you are playing.
The technology is advancing and everyday appear new scams, so we got to be careful what website we use.

226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Satoshi Nakamoto Alive on: October 22, 2017, 11:10:40 PM
You would do that if you were him? I would personally not because Bitcoin is a powerful thing. A powerful technology. Bitcoin is watched by the governments,by the hackers, by all the people. If Satoshi would reveal all the attention would be on him. The reporters are going to ask him all kind of stuffs, some people will hate him....
It is better for all to remain a mystery
227  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is falling, But don't worry! on: October 22, 2017, 11:04:09 PM
Bitcoin went from 4600$ to 6000$ in 1 day. It is logically that the price is falling now because it cant only go up.
Bitcoin will not go up to 10k$ so easy, it will take a few months maybe 1 year until that happens. Until the end of this year I think it will reach a maximum of 7000$ if we are lucky.
228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to effectively store large number of Bitcoins? on: October 22, 2017, 11:01:57 PM
Dont keep your bitcoins in exchangers because they can anytime stole your bitcoins and disappear.
To prevent being hacked it is safer to keep your bitcoins in multiple wallets and adresses. If the hacker hacks one key he stole only 1% of your bitcoins. A paper wallet or just an offline wallet is the best method because that are the hardest to hack.
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin + Bitcoin Cash.... on: October 22, 2017, 11:00:10 PM
It is better to have only one coin that we use for all transactions and obviously that is Bitcoin. Yeah, bitcoin cant be used right now for small transactions like a coffe, local shop or anything like that because the fees are big and it takes some time to confirm the transaction. But I am sure in the future this problem is going to be fixed and we will be able to use it anywhere
230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: October 22, 2017, 10:58:34 PM
Do you even think how stupid is that? Actual money are working by hundreds of years and there are trillions of bills over the planet. You really think the richest people of the planet will accept to convert their money into cryptocurrency? Under no circumstances that is going to happen. At least for another 100 yeas actual money will still work
231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Death of Bitcoin on: October 22, 2017, 08:37:28 PM
There are like thousands of developers all around the world. I dont think all of them can stop in the same time. Of course some developers stop doing work for bitcoin but everytime one quit another one join the system. There is no reason for developers to stop since bitcoin is doing so great in last time
232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best investing with bitcoin on: October 22, 2017, 08:35:46 PM
Trading stocks is complicated because you have to know what to buy at the right moment. My method of investing bitcoin is through gambling on sports. It is not very complicated and with some luck you can win huge profits. Of course you dont need to put 15 matches on a single ticket. You can play 2-3 matches and easily double your money with a 90% chance of winning.
233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you secure your bitcoins? on: October 22, 2017, 08:32:03 PM
Keep your bitcoin in a paper wallet or an offline hardware wallet. Also spread all your bitcoins in multiple adresses and wallets with different private keys because hackers are not going to target wallets with low amount of bitcoins. They are looking for something big that worth the waste of time. Be very careful what website you acces and what programs you install on your computer and mobile phone. Even the best secure app can be dangerous in a hackers hand
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC profits on: October 22, 2017, 08:31:44 PM
You are not going to find absolutely no program that offers you 5% profit everyday because 150% profit a month is huge. You can try betting on sports. It is not very complicated and you can extremely easy( if you search a lot and with a bit of luck) create a bet and double your money. But here is a bit of a gambling, even if you have 99.9% chances to win the match can be arranged before it started.
235  Economy / Economics / Re: The magic of Money management on: October 22, 2017, 07:28:02 PM
Every experienced trader will say the money management in trading is the important thing to keep your account alive and for my experience in trading I lose many accounts die first to bad money management and second for greed and getting more and more money, after all this bad experiences and when I keep money management in my eyes now I get my money adjusted with my capital and I required for every trader to give the most important attention for money management.

The rules for money management for me:
1. Make goals that could actually be achieved with your skill level
2. Always trade with a stop loss
3. Never over trade your account
4. Trust your indicators
5. Always protect profits
6. Trade with investment capital, not grocery money

and for you what is your experience with money management ?
1. I recommend to make any goal because anything can be achieved if you really want that to happen. Even if you dont have the right skill level you will develop that if you belive and work for your goal
6. This is very important. A lot of newbies, after they lose their invetment money also invest their personal money wich is a very bad thing. If you cant control yourself you are going to lose all your money
236  Economy / Economics / Re: $10MILLION per BTC on: October 22, 2017, 07:26:02 PM
It seems more than impossible for bitcoin to reach $10.000.000. I dont see bitcoin to be such a powerful thing and technology in order to reach $10M. Thats x1500 times more expensive than now. An enormous number
I honestly dont think bitcoin will reach $100.000, maybe only after a few decades but it is still a big price for only 1 bitcoin
237  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price fall below $5,500. on: October 22, 2017, 07:24:07 PM
It is logically the price falls in the last time. It increased over 1000$ in one day wich is huge. Right now I think the price will be stable at 5500$ until the fork in november when it will either go up very much , either remain the same or a bit lower. Anyway the price is always increasing every year we just have to wait for it
238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: when is the right time to invest on bitcoin on: October 22, 2017, 07:22:03 PM
It depends. If you want quick profit that you have to watch the market every minute/hours and buy huge amount then sell it when the price is a little higher. If you want safe and long profit then buy 1 bitcoin or how much you can afford and keep it for next 5-10 years. For long time profit there is not fixed time to invest, the price will anyway increase in next years
239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scenario > Bitcoin goes to 100. How will that affect you ? on: October 22, 2017, 07:12:46 PM
Semi doomsday scenario.
A lot of users rely on coins for day to day expenses.
What is the source is gone? What if trading won't earn you more than pennies? A post would be rewarded with half a cent?

That scenario is very possible. All of bitcoin users think that bitcoin will always increase its price but no one is thinking that is actually possible for bitcoin price to fall almost instantly to 100. If governments and banks will start banning bitcoin this scenario will be 100% real wich I hope is not going to happen
240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jamie Dimon bashes Bitcoin again on: September 29, 2017, 03:51:53 PM
I thing all of this popular peoples who are saying wrong things about bitcoin are making profits from this. They contact a big investor than they post something wrong about bitcoin. When the price falls investors buy bitcoins because they know the pricw will grow again. Thats how I see the situation
