221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FILECOIN, biggest ico ever! on: October 27, 2020, 11:38:24 PM
In terms of market capital according to coinmarketcap it has come under the top 25 number of cryptocurrencies. This is quite evident about the growth it has attained. This is an universal concept which is something a needful thing, because storage space buying is simply a big thing and security is much more concerned. If filecoin provides both, it'll be a big success.
222  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predict the bitcoin price range as we enter the New Year on: October 27, 2020, 12:27:29 PM
My $12,001 - $14,000 might be looking a bit conservative right now. Sentiment has totally flipped bullish, it could be a fair bit higher (I certainly hope so).
The price prediction doesn't looks to be conservative, as per my understanding about the market $12001 - $14000 seems to be realistic prediction. The price barrier of $13000 getting stronger without much fluctuations taking place. Anyhow the price should not fall back by the new year which is the expectation of me.
223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: British Fintech firm to start physical crypto bank branches in India on: October 27, 2020, 06:34:10 AM
The news is a bit of a surprise to me but if it happens, it wil be great!

Cashaa, a British Fintech company has announced on 26 October  that they are going to start 34 physical bank branches by partnering with "United Multistate Credit Cooperative Society" to build a crypto friendly banking service called UNICAS. Indians can safely operate a savings account to buy, sell and store crypto assets there!

While the parliamentary members are planning to ban cryptocurrencies in India, this news is indeed a surprise to me! Do you think it will become a reality?

News ref: https://cointelegraph.com/news/british-fintech-firm-opening-physical-crypto-bank-branches-in-india
There is more chance of this news come to reality. British fintech company focusing on the Indian market is something different, but it has a hidden plan. India being highly populated, it is easy to reach and make it successful. Maybe this could function as a financial service with the bitcoin holding saved in the form of fiat. For example if a person holds one bitcoin, he might be owning certain amount and based on the fluctuation of the market will be the fiat owned in his account. This way there is chance of running a bank in my view.
224  Economy / Speculation / Re: how many Bitcoin do you need to live comfy in event of hyperinflation? on: October 24, 2020, 06:23:20 PM
The market varies with time. We can't have a precise calculation on the number of bitcoin required for a comfy living. Maybe in today's calculation one bitcoin is enough, but we don't know how the market is gonna change tomorrow. So, it all depends on the market fluctuation.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin (LTC) Huge Pump is coming with New Update on: October 24, 2020, 12:34:47 PM
And the pump still continues up to this point, more than 20% in the last week? that's huge already assuming that LTC is so quite that I think everyone is missing this coin already, except for gamblers who have been using this as deposits to gambling platform. But wit the updates, more investors join the bandwagon and taking huge profits. Volume wise it's in a bull run already and it's crazy.
Long back during its time of halving it was predicted to grow big in Value. There is no big change experienced, later there is gradual move following the growth of bitcoin. Over the past week the growth is big and the same is predicted to continue. Litecoin is much preferred for the low transaction fee, once litecoin was much preferred as investment on the order of bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin. Now once again litecoin is gaining its importance.
226  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we must study Economics at University? on: October 24, 2020, 08:30:13 AM
Whether it is economics or some other subject, it is always good to learn from an University. When one learns from an university he/she will get to know about more things out of the subject. When one learns himself he/she will be an expertise in the subject, but they won't have the ability to handle situation or coordinate things which is much more needed than knowing the subject. Economics is something much important and from my view learning is just a base and the experience he gain level by level makes him the best of economists.
227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beware of fixed matches offer - member wbet7pending! on: October 24, 2020, 06:59:44 AM

I also received a similar message recently. The only thing I did was just ignore it and its author, as well as disable the ability to receive messages from newbies in the settings. I can't even imagine who would be interested in such an offer from newbie.
-

they will try doing that strategy because there are individuals that will somehow go for it. from all those pm's, he may get one or 2 persons that will avail such service.

Perhaps I have a much better opinion of other people's mental abilities. I continue to doubt that anyone would agree to his offer. After all, if there is nothing wrong with the offer, then it would be published in a public topic and not sent to each person in private messages.
Well said, even some ICO's send personal message requesting to join their campaigns and spread the word about the project. Fixed matches are there, but it is rare to find such matches to bet on. I personally encountered similar experience of fixed match win, but this happened by the mistake of the gambling site. The game was already over, but the gambling site provided odds for selection. I choosed the winning team odd and got the winning amount.
228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think this is the start of mass adoption in Bitcoin? or Nah? on: October 24, 2020, 04:15:27 AM
This is just a beginning, now bitcoin into paypal have opened the doors to people who weren't familiar with bitcoin. As paypal has a wider userbase it supports in reaching the common man with ease than a new network supporting the same. From an article came to know about the paxos exchange is the one that holds bitcoin for paypal. How effective this gonna make changes in the market is unpredictable, but we can expect some positive changes. Even the price growth over the past two days is connected with the news of paypal.
229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling could be used to pay for covid problems on: October 24, 2020, 03:15:21 AM
Online gambling can't be attributed with the covid-19 pandemic. Even before covid-19 people are much into online gambling. The usage of online gambling has increased during the pandemic lockdown followed around the globe. Gambling is just a small portion of one's entertainment. One is supposed to take care of their health, so for sure one needs to focus on developing immunity to overcome the covid-19 problem. For some reason we need to go to outer world for Survival.
230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paxos will be holding your PayPal's Bitcoin on: October 23, 2020, 04:04:46 PM
This is how purse.io had its service offering for Amazon. It is a joint operation, and same as that is the Paypal's partnering with paxos. These services from Amazon might easily reach more users as paypal is a much established payment system available for cross border payment. A mistake from any one of the company will destroy the reputation of both the firms. In short security is a major issue with bitcoin, paypal needs to be more specific in handling its security system.
231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 23, 2020, 01:32:43 PM
So, we're heading another IPL match today CSKvMI. Mumbai Indians must win the game against CSK since Chennai Super Kings have outperformed for a long time. This make me easy to make a conclusion and place bet on MI and odds not too bad for me.
That's a good calculation to make a betting on the game. Today possibly the winner will be CSK in my view. Mumbai Indians stand at the third position.  A winning for CSK isn't gonna make any big changes in the points table as well as not possible to keep it alive in the league. Maybe the wins of CSK in the coming matches will change the teams entering play-off.
232  Economy / Economics / Re: Lend at Hodl Hodl: True P2P Bitcoin lending is here on: October 23, 2020, 12:11:31 PM
Non custodial means the user himself is responsible for the funds. There is no KYC, how this gonna be effective on lending. I'm not that good with the lending process. Now or then the user is supposed to provide collateral to get fund. User can't hide his identity, is there anything specifically mentioned as the collateral for lending.
233  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we back to the bull market? on: October 23, 2020, 11:13:19 AM
A few moments ago, BTC crossed 12k$. Many analysts said, if we cross 12k$ we will be back to the bull market. What do you think? Is it a fake out or we are back to the bull market?
i think btc growing up from now. i am not expert but anything can happen in next one month. american election coming & thats why price will be effected. it will be dumped. so many confusion are ahead, but i wants to back 2017 bull run.

In my opinion if the election brings nothing for the price of bitcoin and the pump is still happening right now caused by the paypal's effect. There are so many speculators have already started to accumulate bitcoin as their long term investment.
It's quite difficult to be dumped again without any reason.
you will be going back to the 2017's pump again in the future but it will much better as the growth will be sustainable compared with pnd that happened in the crypto last years.
For me the US Election could have a impact on the market, whether positive or negative, but will be just short term though, not that it will affect the price when we enter 2021. Maybe we can see an imminent bull run regardless of the elections for all we know. And the thing is that if FOMO is in, it is very hard to stop.
The US election is being much into focus from all levels of people around the globe. Post election effect on bitcoin happens for sure, but that will have a short term impact as we've got only a month left to end the year. This year there are more chance of FOMO, because the community have experienced a steep increase of new cryptocurrency users. Further the speculation and good news associated with the market only need to move the price forward.
234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: October 23, 2020, 09:11:01 AM
When you're in the losing streak it isn't possible to stop as most users mentioned in their quotes. When the wallet fund gets emptied we'll understand that we should've stopped earlier. This could've happened with almost every gambler, recovering the lost funds is possible. For the same we need the patience, one should not expect the recovery to happen in single day with consecutive bets.
235  Economy / Economics / Re: Are the Central Banks starting to worry about the public's perception? on: October 23, 2020, 08:30:19 AM
Central banks serve as the backing system for economic situation in a country. They have entire control over the money flow happening within the country. More country have experienced a downfall in the economic downturn and some has gone negative. As a result we've seen more people shifting from the traditional fiat usage towards the bitcoin.

People's perception is changing, but this is very minor. People won't directly move to something new, first they'll examine and further make the move. Now what we see is the time of examining the bitcoin and its network for long term usage.
236  Economy / Economics / Re: I lost my job, how about you guys? on: October 23, 2020, 04:33:46 AM
Everything is unstable as long as there is a pandemic. Businesses halted operations due to supply problems. Supplies for a specific business takes too long to arrive beacuse of the tight security and of course shipment crews needs to be quarantined everytime they cross borders. That is why small businesses are affected and we workers as well. I know the only thing that will help me survive this crisis is cryptocurrency that is why I am active here again because fiat had failed me.

What is your story with fiat and cryptocurrency during pandemic? This is again the battle of centralized and decentralized assets and activity in the middle of a crisis. In your own experiences and opinion which of the two will win?
I lost my job also last month the sad is until now i don't have a new job. Everyday i go out i went different agencies to give resume but until now no call.
This pandemic give us a lot of problem. But i thank also my friend because she always update me if there's are bounty that able to join Full member. A little income but its a big help to me.
During the pandemic our forum has been helping a lot to our members. Some of our members shared their earnings and provided little earning to the members in need. Some did charity in their local region collecting donations and consumables. This time more people lost their jobs and businesses, but none lost hope.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How NOT To Get Scammed on: October 23, 2020, 03:31:30 AM
Market observation, continued learning, regular updates will make people stay away from scams. Most of the time people look for quick profit which is the reason for getting trapped on scams. Whenever we see a scam, there'll be a term bitcoin. This means people never realize or evaluate the project, just with the word bitcoin people go for investing. This isn't the right way to make an investment into bitcoin. People go for large scale investments expecting the quick return.
238  Economy / Economics / Re: rich people super rich are taking loans now why? what it means ? on: October 23, 2020, 02:41:51 AM
Rich and super rich are made out of Businesses. Once after the well establishment of the business there'll be regular revenue. To keep up the revenue and to multiply the net worth of the business they go for loans. The entire loan amount won't be taken for the business upliftment, around 30% - 40% will be used for business while the rest gets invested. This is how the loans were used by the rich and super rich.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TRON (TRX) Coin Future Price ? on: October 23, 2020, 01:19:33 AM
Tron for its reduced transaction fee has got more advantage than other cryptocurrencies available. The team isn't much focused on making advancement. There is continued development, but that were mostly to support application development over the TRC10 platform. Apart from this the circulation is being run through the trading, if they have shown interest to make tron for payment on different places it'll increase in its value. We can't say the price won't grow again to the previous ATH. It all depends on the market change.
240  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is better than Holding on: October 22, 2020, 05:21:48 PM
Yes, I think trading is better then holding. You can't make a lot of money from a coin if you just hold it.  On the other hand, if you can short trade , you can earn something good from it. Whenever it's price goes up you will sell this and buy when the price goes down.
You can make money from many coins if you hold them, but it require experience and tactics. But, my best is still trading, but trading is not for everyone, out of 100% people that are trading, about 75% are losing, which makes your statement not accurate, and implying crypto trading is of high risk. There are different types of trading, there are some that are very risky, example is the day trading, the future and margin trading, they are of high risk. But there are swing trading which is not that risky like day trading. Also, many people are not ready to trade but just to hold. There are many people that are trading but losing now, so saying trading is better than holding is not 100% accurate,

Each and everyone here has our own techniques and strategies on how we can generate our money or crypto coins. Maybe some of us will confident to trade than to hodl. Maybe some us can generate money in hodling than in trading. But in my case, i am doing both. I am trading while i am hodling. I am trading when i observed that the market was worth it to trade for and i am hodling those token that well valued enough that whenever i needed those token it still has the worth that can provide my needs.
Yes, different users follow different strategies and techniques to make profit. Trading needs regular observation of the market, and holding requires patience as it is long term profit focused. Focusing on both is good and it is a possible thing. People believe it is hard to trade when we're just holding. It is advisable to trade and multiply the volume of holding than just holding which means allowing the assets to be idle.
