221  Economy / Speculation / Re: A big buying opportunity might be on the horizon on: December 24, 2023, 06:23:02 AM
The fact that the halving season is next year, whether the bitcoin ETF gets approved or not, doesn't change the already existing history of bitcoin price that it will increase than it has, months after the halving. However, if bitcoin ETF gets approved fine, if it doesn't, still fine. That won't change what is expected to happen for the ATH of bitcoin in 2024/2025,

Everyone is focused on what will happen next during the halving season rather than the bitcoin ETF because that event won't increase the value of bitcoin as much as the halving will (months later).

The main point to pay attention to is to focus on the potential of BTC in the long term and against the many arguments that expect Bitcoin's ATH in 2024/2025 to be like this and that, I think that's normal.

In my view, if we are updated regarding ETF licensing, whether through this forum or from several other mainstream media sources, I think it will be very easy to determine whether to move forward or hold on while analyzing for a while, where later there is the potential for an Emotional, Rollercoaster, from excitement to despair if bitcoin ETF is approved or not from users.
222  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is the only currency that has grown the most!! on: December 24, 2023, 06:09:30 AM
Bitcoin is the only coin that can be depended on, that's why it has so many big investors. Since I started watching bitcoin 2020 bitcoin price was between 17k but 2020 halving bitcoin price peaked in 2021. Bitcoin price went up to 69k. You can definitely see the difference if you calculate the current time. At the beginning of 2023, the price of Bitcoin was 16k, in just 10 months, the price of Bitcoin has reached up to 45k. That's why it can be said that the price of Bitcoin is only going upwards so those who invest definitely get huge benefits.

People should see this significant movement as you stated above, where the temporary highest price to date is $43,526 and it won't be long before it will probably enter the $48,000 range at the end of December which is only 7 days away. So, what are our further preparations for, after getting investment exposure with several future benefits, do we continue to hold back or is that enough for investing in BTC?
223  Economy / Economics / Re: Setting up financial structures before going into the family way on: December 24, 2023, 05:59:12 AM
even though we call them girls or woman, they both like money and it literally takes money and love to keep them. No matter how responsible a woman his, if you don't have the financial resource to take care of her, you will loose her to a stranger.

Age only goes to show that she might have had a financial  backup that will help her support her partner reasonable and that's what will fuel and enable the union to work

I also have a family. One thing that causes problems in the family is that the biggest factor is the problem of minimal finances which are seen as not being able to cover all the monthly shopping costs, especially since our children are all in school, whether at primary, secondary or college level, there are expenses that are incurred. and of course the large amount is also needed and is not owed at the end of the month.

Yes. Everyone wants to live a normal life (our wives) like other people, have a house, a car and their children are all educated, but it is not an easy matter, especially if we are not of blue blood. So, to fulfill this, it is not necessary that we have to be civil servants or private employees. If there is a skill that can bring in money and can cover it all, I think it's not an important problem that we and our partner have one heart, one goal and communicate honestly, whether in financial matters or anything honestly.
224  Economy / Economics / Re: How come both the "gas" and "fee" prices shoot up without ETH and BTC move? on: December 24, 2023, 05:37:17 AM
The thing interests me the most is: suppose there will be priority of BTC on the market and everybody will start to send transactions twice a day at least. What happens then to the subject?

Did you make a transaction in BTC today, if you did it today I think the answer is answered. What needs to be addressed now is just to work around the amount of the fee and don't rush into determining the amount of the transaction fee, meaning just set it normally and wait a few days and then your assets will come in. Even if you use the Lightning Network option, you can because Bitcoin may take some time to transfer from one address to another and  this is the subject that is seen first besides the factors of Increased trading activity and investor interest.
225  Economy / Economics / Re: Crisis everywhere it's time to come together and unite on: December 24, 2023, 05:22:35 AM
Crisis is a part of human existence as much as peace also. Although I understand you are trying to mean about the economy of most of the world nations.
Is creating new currency the solution that would cause unity?
Any group of persons coming together to unite toward a meaningful purpose does so because of the gains and profit involved in such trade and it could be as simple as possible to say but the least.

If the OP assumes that creating a new currency is a solution that will create unity as you ask, I think there is some truth to that, because my view is that the root of the problem first is what is seen, paid attention to and looked for a way to solve it because creating a new currency is not a solution. being strong means completing everything because even if it is successful there will be a lot of negative motivation that will come, especially after profits are obtained that are not the main goal being completed, they have already moved on to other contexts and high inflation is very likely to occur too.
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: December 24, 2023, 05:11:21 AM
El Salvador passes law offering citizenship to Bitcoin investors

Picture from X
I think El Salvador's decision to make this breakthrough is not just about investment, it's about ushering in a new economic era.
El Salvador is leading the way, boldly integrating Bitcoin into its core principles.

We know that El Salvador is the smallest country in Central America. Regarding President Nayib Bukele's steps in adopting Bitcoin in El Salvador at this time, it deserves a thumbs up because currently it may be on a larger scale than in Canada.

From several of his tweets on Twitter that I read, it can be concluded that he initiated this not without reason, all of which were directed at encouraging financial inclusion in terms of tourism, innovation, economic development after the corona virus pandemic which was not only felt by the country of El Salvador but almost everyone everywhere. At that time, the economy was hit hard on almost all fronts.
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Selling All Cryptocurrency for Fiat and Earning Interest? on: December 24, 2023, 04:47:38 AM
And with anyone with 5 million or more, well that would be enough to retire and do things you would never be able to.  If you have 5 million in the bank, you could put 2 million in the bank and earn 100k and that is more than enough to live off and do pretty much most things you want right?

Do you know how long we live? Of course the answer is that no one knows. Quoting your statement above, if we have 5 million in the bank then put it in 2 million and then take the interest, that guarantees everything will be finished, of course not. To help, yes, to guarantee overall safety, I don't think so because in the future there will be many points that can change our decisions someday.

Maybe this step looks good but in my opinion a smart person is someone who knows how to read the situation. And, because of the nature of Bitcoin, you can take control of your retirement accounts and move them overseas easily if something urgent needs to be done.
228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is the #1 crypto currency in the world if it's slow and expensive? on: December 24, 2023, 04:26:54 AM
BTC will always be an aggressive investment with aggressive growth too, now. Are you likely to have to wait until BTC stabilizes again, I don't think so. Speculators are always looking for the moment when the price becomes discounted again and will always buy it back and that is why BTC is always Volatile.

Indeed, currently it seems slow and expensive as you mentioned above, but if more people use it, this is the main reason why the price of BTC will continue to increase. For Ripple, its users are still waiting and seeing regarding the resolution of Ripple's problem with the SEC, whether it will be finished next year, I'm just following it.
229  Economy / Speculation / Re: So I guess we sell at $48626 ? on: December 23, 2023, 05:27:06 PM
Those that want to experience $100k will not sell their BTC like the decision you took not to sell now in this bear run because it will not help you to make pretty money from your investment but if you hodl till $2025, you will surely get it right to make big money from your investment.

The human mind can only follow a few indicators. It depends on our ambitions, whether we want to survive or not, but it takes a lot of patient energy to be able to reach 2025, for example. But if you're looking for profit, you'll definitely sell like the title of OP's post, even though he's a professional too. Even so, we have read a lot that in 2024 it is very possible that the price of BTC will rise even higher. So, I think it's best if we have some BTC, maybe Just Hodl and I think that's the right decision.
230  Economy / Economics / Re: Crisis everywhere it's time to come together and unite on: December 23, 2023, 05:05:27 PM
That's what I was trying to say, as even if we chose to make a team of BTT members to make a community to help spread the word about some token that we can use to make some money, just like a new project with a proper team. We should remain careful and responsible for our own actions.

Besides all that, the economy is really going down in developing countries, and people can't make a living with a single job. Therefore,  many people are trying to find another source of income, like investing their savings in some assets like BTC. People are making efforts to make extra money.

Minor items only. Even if there is an effort to present or inform something new and good, it must be clear and precise as you stated above, do not let our presence in providing information about these coins or tokens cause other people to suffer losses because of it. due to their lack of development.

It is true that the current situation in many sectors of the economy (income) is weak and also declining and quite a few are trying to enter this space by looking for further information, including this forum, which is also a reference place to ask questions and find out the latest information regarding major coins or Altcoins in circulation in the market.
231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 'Attack on Bitcoin’ Claims Circulate as Transaction Fees Climb Higher on: December 23, 2023, 04:49:22 PM
That's just it.  Nothing I've seen so far even remotely resembles a fix.  Just clumsy hacks that won't prevent someone determined to embed data and could have long-term unintended consequences.  I don't think farcical games of 'whack-a-mole' are the way forward and that's all I've seen proposed so far.

Or this just a response to threats because the pola is basically the same and continues to develop, but at a glance if you look at capacity, perhaps not all organizations have sufficient resources to adopt the latest security technology and recognizing that together is important and considered a positive step. There is a real need for Security Technology Evolution at this time to protect/embed data even though we know this pool is very vulnerable to attacks.
232  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Unstable prices of cryptocurrency on: December 23, 2023, 04:13:16 PM
The November and December market to the year of halving is always up and down trend season of the market before the total rally starts. I will advise you to hold the BTC for at least 12 months if what you're looking for is short-term profit and if you have extra capital I will advise you buy more because next year market will be crazy.

Looks like it will happen. I saw that the market has just started to reverse the price back up, if the highest price some time ago is exceeded again, it will be very certain that what you said will most likely happen, it's just a matter of being tempted or not for those who are patient and have been holding their BTC from being sold. why is that because this is also the New Year moment and many people will take time off to go on holiday with their families. Yes. 8 more days left for December and after that 2024 will come.
233  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: YouTuber's hype video is not good advice on: December 23, 2023, 04:01:13 PM
In Bitcointalk as well, we can find very detailed guides, explanations from many experienced developers. It's a large range of knowledge from many people.
While for such YouTubers, it is often only half.baked content, many YouTubers lack coding knowledge and when such people do a video, it might contain not very accurate information.

Well, from some of the responses you wrote above, I think you are now very direct. Indeed, the content they have created sometimes comes from experts and it is also possible that some of them took several parts from other channels which then combined them into one part to be uploaded to their account so as not to plagiarize, if I take it Many of the words above are half-baked  Grin Grin.

I think it would be wise to take references from several discussion results from some of our seniors here who are experts and understand this matter and even if there is a good channel to follow, just check whether it matches the data and facts of market conditions if someone, for example, wants to trade.

234  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A piece of advise to everyone. on: December 23, 2023, 03:50:15 PM
Disagreeing to agree is always the best in any discussion but where this individuals deviates from discussion to reputation maintenance is what amazes me e.g Where Mr. A is saying I'm a professor so you can't correct me because I have 10 degrees and Mr. B is saying education does not matter here I have experience, I have worked for so so years so you can't correct me here. It's just so disappointing... To make matter worst it's L members that engage most this arguments.

Basically everyone respects and appreciates each other. The name is also a forum, where suggestions and opinions will always come. I think this is a normal situation, it's up to us how to interpret it and if the suggestion or opinion is good, just take it, if not, just save it and don't need to take it too far.

It's a very bad habit for someone to claim he/she knows it all. No one is master of all knowledge. Just has OP has said we should try to creat a peaceful environment as we keep learning rather than arguing over and over on a simple matter.

Talking about the level of knowledge capacity, of course each of us must be different, if everyone were the same, there would be no such thing as a questioner or an answerer, and it doesn't hurt to take a step back.
235  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can anyone be a Bitcoin speculation expert? on: December 23, 2023, 08:00:15 AM
Skills are important in conducting analysis – especially regarding the price of bitcoin. They may be called experts because of their expertise - but as you say; sometimes they can also be wrong. No one can predict for sure what a bitcoin will actually be worth at what day and time in the future - that's just speculation, but analysis can help provide an idea.

So far I am confident with several predictions if supported by fundamental and technical analysis. I rely on fundamentals to carry out accumulation - so everything is fine because my main goal is long term. If one wants to make profits in the short term – then technical and fundamental analysis should be considered at the same time.

The journey is not over yet. Very relevant and it's true that we must first determine our main goal in trading, whether to make short-term profits or whether it will last for a long time so that we can carry out the sales process at the same time.

Maybe everyone here is not an expert in predicting market prices, especially BTC, but thanks to knowledge and experience of ups and downs in the world of trading, it will result in a special talent in seeing the market and navigating it wisely because if it is considered trivial, it is very likely that traders will always fall into the same hole, even though they The most obvious thing that appears is not profit but being prepared for all conditions that will occur.
236  Economy / Speculation / Re: High transaction fees affects those who DCA on: December 23, 2023, 07:38:03 AM
On the one hand, miners are really benefiting from the current conditions, I mean they are actually generating good income as long as transaction fees are expensive. Minners benefit at the moment, but this situation is very unpleasant for users. I checked the last 3 blocks to find out the transaction fee amount for each block, here's an example:

Code:
Block 822370 > Total fees 1.596 BTC ($69,589) > Subsidy + fees ‎7.846 BTC ($342,114)
Block 822369 > Total fees 1.637 BTC ($71,380) > Subsidy + fees ‎7.887 BTC ($343,905)
Block 822368 > Total fees ‎2.094 BTC ($91,313) > Subsidy + fees ‎8.344 BTC ($363,838)

I think all miners also have different fee structures and that's the most common way they earn income nowadays. Our best solution is to make sure and analyze it carefully before finalizing a buying or selling decision because nothing is free, all transactions will be subject to appropriate fees.

Personally, even if it's urgent, I always set a standard fee because at the latest the transaction will be completed in around 6 days and will land in the wallet I designate. Yes. This is all called a process and this is not a coincidence
237  Economy / Economics / Re: Food for thought on: December 23, 2023, 07:18:00 AM
It's not wise for anyone to rely on just one source of income, especially in times when the global economy is struggling. Those working in government-owned establishments should carefully manage their employment duration and explore additional ways to earn money.

Exactly @Hatchy and very wise if I read your review above and it is very understandable for all of us here, especially if you are married then you have to try harder so that your family can increase its income and not just rely on one source of income.

I've observed many individuals employed by banks or government institutions who, when laid off, end up leading difficult lives. Sometimes they never get another job and might end up starting from a level they had never imagined. This is often because they didn't plan ahead. I often advise people that planning is crucial for a prosperous future. Even if you start with favorable circumstances, or born with a golden spoon, without proper planning, you might lose it all one day. It's advisable to have more than two sources of income to ensure you can meet your needs effectively.

Someone whose profession is already working in a bank, I am sure whether he will apply for early retirement or end his working period well As far as I remember, there was something called severance pay in the form of a bonus at the end of the term of office as a form of appreciation for bank employees who had worked. But the main problem for them is how they will enjoy it, whether it will be redeveloped or just used to cover their retirement costs.

In another case, if the employee makes a mistake and has a big impact on the good name of the institution where he works, then he will receive a warning and receive nothing more (dismissed without honor).
238  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks secret door for cheaper cash on: December 23, 2023, 07:01:01 AM
Something like this i tought so it's good for markets and traders and for financial world.
Banks are pocketing real money by borrowing money from the Fed's newest backstop facility, which charges a lower rate, and then parking it at another unit of the Fed, which pays higher interest.
Banks are borrowing record amounts from this new facility.

So, if they do that, try looking internally first to see whether the strategy is relevant to the vision and mission of central banks in general, which have big tasks such as maintaining financial stability in society.

I'm just keeping it simple and this is nothing but a strategy, you could say, in the end, to generate bank profits at some point. Btw, Apart from having potential benefits as you explained above, this step also creates potential losses which are no less interesting in the normal functioning of financial markets.
239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another year is going to end. Bitcoin isn't dead on: December 23, 2023, 06:42:14 AM

BREAKING NEWS: Bitcoin isn't dead.

Ha ha. right, great tagline.

I wasn't expecting this to be news. Bitcoin is going stronger and we can measure that is on the amount of people who have adopted Bitcoin in the past 5 years.

At this point anyone thinking Bitcoin would dies is an idiot. And needs psychiatric evaluation. Infact those websites propagating these propaganda should be blocked or banned. I consider it like almost a hate speech.

Only those with less advanced thinking always say that BTC will soon go away. I met a number of people and businesses who wanted help learning and making transactions in the bitcoin field.

It's not too much of a hassle I think as Users don't need to buy Bitcoin in its entirety and can buy a small percentage that matches the value of their cash investment. Otherwise they wouldn't care about it and the fact that even now there are still people who have managed to make a living with bitcoin is that not enough to see and pay attention to.
240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CENTRAL BANK OF NIGERIA LIFT THE BAN ON CRYPTOCURRENCY IN NIGERIA on: December 23, 2023, 06:29:18 AM
It's not only us who are paying close attention to developments in the crypto world, in this case BTC, even though it is not yet very clear, bankers are also diligently following the ups and downs and developments of this virtual currency, wherever they are.

Well, regarding this news, I think it is good news because there is more space for cryptocurrency lovers in the country to have more freedom so that the growth of cryptocurrency adoption in Nigeria will accelerate. Buying bitcoins also has varying degrees of anonymity and is very similar to cash transactions.
