221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want a long term investment what s the best choice for now? on: August 01, 2018, 10:08:39 AM
I want a long term investment what s the best choice for now?
And thank you for ur help
The best choice for long term investment still remains bitcoin, If you look there are always good things predicted for the future of bitcoin. People think that the coin has grown as much as it can which is wrong. There is still a lot of growth in store for bitcoin and the possibilities remain endless at this point. If you are looking for altcoins then you should invest in ethereum.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: today the crypto market is starting to rise again on: July 31, 2018, 12:46:19 PM
Looks like it has risen for the past couple of day and now the prices are starting to crash again which makes sense. I don't know what is going on right now, it seems people are not even giving bitcoin the chance to grow to a good price before they start to dump their coins again. This is the level of volatility that is pushing people away from the crypto market.
223  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: HARDWARE WALLETS: WHAT IS IT FOR? on: July 31, 2018, 12:37:58 PM
Giving you additional information on what you need to know, probably most of you out there have heard about a HARDWARE WALLET before, and I think I can help you out with some information you may need and why you should buy yourselves a hardware wallet.

WHY SHOULD I BUY A HARDWARE WALLET?
Probably most of us are using software wallets; Coinbase, Elec

trum, Bitpay, Jaxx, and etc. I'm not totally saying that you should spend some money and buy a hardware wallet, In my own opinion, I do think that software wallets will give you security in keeping your bitcoins (or whatever that you are holding), but I don't think it will be enough for you to keep it without getting robbed, it is not HACK-PROOF, which means you cannot assure yourself that it won't get hacked, numerous people have been robbed through their software wallets, and some people have lost everything in just a glimpse, you can search from it on the web, google, bing, or the search engine that you'd prefer, go there and search for cases about BTC, and it actually has numerous cases of people getting robbed from their software wallet.

WHY SHOULD YOU BUY A HARDWARE WALLET?
Hardware wallets are indeed one of the best but there, hardware wallets can keep you safe and will take your holding even if you are not online, keys are extremely secured, hardware wallets may seem to cost you, but you should consider it despite that it will give you extra security, a lot of my friends actually own a hardware wallet and ever since they bought one, they never complained to me, it's hassle free, and you won't be worried about your holdings, since you'll be the one who's responsible about your hardware wallet. Now there are youtube videos and these hardware wallets' official websites, I highly recommend you guys try it out, here are one of the most knowned and trusted hardware wallets out of all.

Ledger Nano S: www.ledgerwallet.com
Trezor: www.trezor.io
KeepKey: www.keepkey.com

These hardware wallets are one of my most prerferrable wallets as of now, watch some youtube videos and see for yourself!

THANK YOU! FEEL FREE TO REPLY AND GIVE YOUR OWN INSIGHTS AND OPINIONS ABOUT HARDWARE WALLETS.

I think you have said it all. Hardware wallets are simply a way for you to keep your coins in a wallet that is not connected online, which means that your coins are much safer from the threat of hackers when you put the coins in a hardware wallet. If you are looking to hold your coins for the long term without trading then you should use hardware wallets.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Moving out from litecoin on: July 31, 2018, 12:07:07 PM
If you are going to be leaving a project at last make sure that you are doing it for the right reasons, litecoin still remains a very viable option when it comes to the altcoins that have the most potential to do well in this market. Stick with your litecoin and then invest in another good altcoin like ethereum or neo so you know you have your money in the best altcoin.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are excited to Fast gain from Crypto market on: July 30, 2018, 12:21:53 PM
Due to the Popularity of the Cryptocurrencies, most of the investors gain profit in a day or week. Why do they feel the crypto market is magic? Why they become rich in a day? Does anyone have an Idea?

I think it is the fact that when most of the investors that are putting money in crypto right now heard about cryptos, it was from the testimonies of people who have made so much money from crypto. What they fail to take into account is that these people who were giving the testimonies were actually people who have being n cryptos from the beginning, people believing that they can make quick money from cryptos is the reason that there are still so many scams.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be fooled. on: July 30, 2018, 12:11:10 PM
You are absolutely right. A lot of people especially the newbies in the market tend to be more trusting of the projects here that they often put their money in bad projects with scammers, this is enlightening for people like those. Not all of the projects you see in the market are good, a lot of them are actually just here to scam you and take off with your money.
227  Other / Meta / Re: Are we growing a healthy forum? on: July 30, 2018, 12:02:51 PM
So far I believe that we are growing a healthy forum here, people are more than willing to help others on this forum and I think that is what matters when you look at a forum to know if it is healthy or not. A lot of people can come here to get advice or to just meet with other like minded investors if that is what they wish to do.  If it is hard for you to get out of the junior rank then you should know that the new rules are in place to prevent people from spamming the forum and putting rubbish posts on here.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Will Kill Cash ? Is this True on: July 28, 2018, 12:14:31 PM
There is always the possibility of this happening. The truth is that nothing lasts forever so there is definitely a time coming where there will be no more cash. The rate at which the world is advancing technologically there will definitely come a time where everything will have to be done online and people would not want to carry money on them, that is when cash will die out and cryptocurrencies will take over.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: planning for down market on: July 28, 2018, 12:05:24 PM
when market is going down what strategy you adopt??? like some people will sell or may be buy , some will hold or may be convert btc in usd.
i would like to know from all of you about your planning/ strategy.

Mostly when I see a down market then I just secure my wallet in preparation for the long hold. There really is nothing else to do in a down market besides buying some coins an holding the ones that I already have. I am going to observe the market for a while longer and see if the prices will go lower so I can buy some more coins for much cheaper prices.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Dominance Gradually increasing - Green Signal on: July 27, 2018, 12:02:46 PM
I don't understand how bitcoin can be going green but all of the other coins are still in the red. I don't know if this means bitcoin is ready to bull yet, but it does look like bitcoin is on a good path to recovery. More and more people are starting to put money into bitcoin but not altcoins which explains why bitcoin has so much dominance over the other coins in the market.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOW TO MAKE MONEY IN CRYPTO on: July 27, 2018, 11:46:22 AM
Apart from airdrops and bounties, and trading or mining. What other ways can one make money in crypto space?  I really like to know maybe one can explore it.

Well have you thought about buying coins with your own money and then holding those coins for the long term? That is one thing that i noticed that you did not mention. Also you can work online and accept payment in crypto, just offer your services on the services thread on this forum and specify that you only want to be paid in crypto. Those are the other ways I know to make crypto.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Investing for the long term in an altcoin is good idea? on: July 26, 2018, 07:58:35 PM
It can be one of the best investment moves you will ever make but that will only depend on the altcoin that you decide to invest in. You could end up investing in a coin that dies out which means that you do not make any money but if you happen to be in a good project that lasts for a while and ends up doing well in terms of market prices and value, then you would be making it big.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is gradually spreading on: July 25, 2018, 02:30:45 PM
Cryptocurrencies were gradually spreading in 2016 and the beginning of 2017 but once that bull started towards the end of 2018, well let's just say it picked up speed. More people were coming into cryptos at a faster pace than anyone anticipated and now, I wouldn't quite call the growth gradual. Now the world has heard about cryptocurrencies. They know about it, that is a lot of growth.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how much you can profit from altcoins on: July 24, 2018, 11:43:33 AM
I have not made any money from altcoins because I just started investing in them. All of the money I have made from investing in cryptos has been from the investment that I made from bitcoin. I really am hopeful about the investments that I put in the altcoins though, I know it may take time but I will end up making money from them too. Hopefully more than twice my initial investments
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bank of England warns against Cryptos on: July 24, 2018, 11:29:24 AM
They have always warned against cryptos, they owe it to their customers to make sure that they tell them the risks regarding something they are getting involved in. NO matter how hard the banks will try to discredit cryptos, it will not change the fact they they are a revolutionary technology. I won't be surprised to see these same banks start accepting cryptos in the future.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to Google to have their own coin ? on: July 24, 2018, 11:10:44 AM
At this point it is possible for anybody to have a coin, even a child. Do you see how many altcoins are in the market? Thousands of them. Then there are the new ones that keep pouring in everyday, pretty sure if  a mega company like google wanted their own cryptocurrency it would not be a problem for them. Then again they would have a lot of investors because they are already popular.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is TETHER a SCAM? on: July 23, 2018, 11:45:47 AM
Sure looks like a scam but the fact still remains that tether is the only stable coin that we have in the market right now. Even with the bear market the people who converted their coins to tether are not taking as big of a hit as the rest of us who left our money in other cryptos. They might not be meeting up with the monthly audit that they promises but they are doing a good job keeping the price of their coin stable.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not expect something from ICOs till btc to FLY on: July 23, 2018, 11:33:06 AM
I was just saying this to a friend the other day. He invested in an ICO and was expecting a lot of returns from it and my response to him was that the price of bitcoin is way too low so there is no way that any other coins are going to be doing well except the coins that are getting pumped and dumped. If you are investing in ICOs then you should be willing to wait for bitcoin to recover before you can make a reasonable profit from it.
239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Face up to reality: The game is over on: July 16, 2018, 06:12:08 PM
This isn't going to be the first time that the price would have dropped so much. In fact after a bull cycle the bear cycle is expected. Who do you think pumps the price so you can sell at insane profits? It is the whales who increase the prices and without them you wont have these huge price increases.
240  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has Bitcoin reached its goal? on: July 16, 2018, 06:03:35 PM
Bitcoin is still in its early stages and there is still time for it to reach its goal. It is currently at number 6 position in comparison to fiat currencies which is a pretty big achievement. Once it reaches in the top 3 position it would start getting noticed and prove that it is a real threat to the fiat currencies.
