Yet we know this from all the tournaments, whether it is the men or the women, that some of the best teams struggle a little bit, sometimes even hardly make the cut in the group stage and in the end play their top game in the knock out stage and make it very far. Better wake up during the group stage and realize this is not enough than later into the tournament. Brazil still have enough time to qualify for the next round but the problem is that they are not doing well in their defense which is a big problem. If our defense is not strong in a tournament like the World Cup, then it is never possible to do well in such a big tournament. The Brazilian women's team should work very quickly on the problems that have clearly emerged in the Brazilian defense line against France. Even if they lose the group stage match, they may have a chance to go to the next round but if they make such a mistake in the knockout stage, they will be knocked out of the tournament.
