2201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are buying when the price is going up and not when it is down on: August 16, 2020, 06:10:24 PM
I notice that when there the price is going up so many people are joining the train and they also buy because the price is going up and they are going to make a profit, why people are not buying when it is down when the price will eventually go up and they can make a lot of profit.  Huh

That's easy, a lot of people are often join when the market is on hype, probably its either they don't know anything in the market and just go with the flow or they are expecting the market to continue to increase its market price.

Having those mistakes instead of investing in the market when the market price is on the dump, there is no hype when the market is a dump and everything on the news is negative, that is why people or investors are discouraged to invest.
2202  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Clicking Google Ads can lead you to huge looses - Uniswap customers on: August 16, 2020, 03:19:40 PM
Agree to everyone is saying as long as you pay to google you could easily put your website as an advertisement when they search for something.

This is one of the google mistakes not filtering harmful links or websites but I guess it is just all about money when it comes to ads like this, so just don't click ads from google.
2203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: August 14, 2020, 07:09:01 PM
Things why a person can easily get scammed in crypto-world

1. Greed
2. No knowledge about the project
3. Trust

This are the three main reason why they get easily scam
Greed, because there are a lot of promise by the campaign and the developer we easily believe that its true
investing a lot of money in the project that is garbage.
No knowledge also is the second reason because of the trend they just go and invest without any knowledge of the said project
Trust because they trust the people in the project which sometimes pretends that the person is a member of the project
they can easily decieved that once they invest , they will soon find out that the person is just impersonating , and not really
what all expected.

Agree, greed, and not having knowledge about what they doing is probably the top reason why a lot of newbies are getting scam in cryptocurrency and other projects.

Also, the experience is also a thing, after I experience different kinds of scams I just already know how it works and I don't get scam anymore.

That is why we have this forum so that we could share our experience so that a lot of members could avoid other mistakes.
2204  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what is the best site to earn from referrals on: August 14, 2020, 05:50:15 PM
hi guys
do u know any good and honest site that pay for referrals not less then 0.1$ for each referral
and it's not asking for deposit it's ok if it's asking the referral for watching a video or do some easy jobs like clicks or something

I think the referral program could not give you profit especially in the long run, but I guess it still gives a small profit.

You could do a referral in coinbase, crypto.com that I think gives a good amount of commission when you invite someone that puts money.
2205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Germany Continues Shutting All Unlicensed Bitcoin ATMs on: August 14, 2020, 12:16:06 PM
It's not really surprising since the Bitcoin ATM was illegal so it should not operate so the government should shut it down.

What's really surprising is how they open Bitcoin ATM without even getting permission or license for it, Still, the news could easily turn bad for every people who don't know bitcoin since it is again involved in some illegal activities. Most of the people is having a bad impression to bitcoin because of this news.
2206  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Heads up! Coins.ph 'Allegedly' Locking Accounts/Wallets on: August 13, 2020, 10:18:54 AM
We can use their services, meaning, we should also comply din sa TOS nila.

So far as long as verified ka sa coins.ph mukang open naman sila and madali mong maaayos ang issue as long as magcomply ka sa kanila  at maverified nila okey naman ang kakalabasan.

2207  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reminder: There Is No Such Thing As Easy Money on: August 12, 2020, 07:08:50 PM
I think every newbie just needs to understand that it is not that easy to earn a profit even here in cryptocurrency there was just no way your going to earn easily at all even in this platform.

Everyone just needs experience in cryptocurrency and in every investment to completely understand how it works. For sure once we all fall or somehow want to invest in something that is really promising that would earn you a big amount of profit in just a small time that in the end just a big scam. Especially having a lot of referral or investment that almost gives you a high percentage of profit, for sure everyone could notice that it is not possible to earn that amount so easily.

2210  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to avoid high transaction fee on: August 11, 2020, 05:58:14 PM
We all knows that the transaction fee is getting insane in the past few weeks so what are the best ways to avoid paying high transaction fee without increasing the waiting time for the confirmation.

I think the transaction fee is already a part of the cryptocurrency so we can't really avoid it, and we could notice a high transaction fee in every transaction.

Probably the best option to convert your bitcoin for example to a cryptocurrency that has low transaction fees like or expel convert it to XRP etc. Having a high volume transaction in bitcoin could really could a big amount of fee but converting it to XRP could lower that fee.

Apparently, this scheme is still on going pa rin despite SEC's warning. Not sure, if they deliberately doin' it or talagang wala silang idea sa possible output in the long run, pero kung iisipin, hindi naman mahirap mag-search, almost everything na sa internet na e (then why?).

2212  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Nauusong "easy-money" on: August 10, 2020, 03:58:36 PM

2213  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A site or platform for buying bitcoins via cards on: August 09, 2020, 07:47:29 PM
Hello all While touring today inside one of the local departments, I came across a topic for one of the members that contains a request to find a site, platform or wallet that contains the feature of converting cards such as a Visa Card to Bitcoin or vice versa and unfortunately he was unable to find a correct answer. So I loved the idea of this person and I decided to ask you if there is a platform or wallet that provides this service because, frankly, I also need to transfer some cards to Bitcoin I hope to find help

I think kinda possible in some of the platforms buying bitcoin having some sort of card where you are able easily to convert the bitcoin and then withdraw it.

Also here in my country, you could easily send your bitcoin to convert it and then send it to a different platform where you could easily withdraw your funds.

2214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the need to increase BTC's max supply arise in the future? on: August 09, 2020, 07:16:17 PM
Probably not the best idea since having a big supply of bitcoin could easily affect the market price of bitcoin, Stil bitcoin today was still not adopted in a lot of countries that is why bitcoin is getting a very high market price.

In the future when bitcoin becomes a top digital currency for sure billion of people is going to use bitcoin at that point so increasing the supply could help a lot, because the market price might increase in a very high market price if the supply doesn't increase.
2215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do scams harm Bitcoin's reputation in the mainstream world? on: August 09, 2020, 01:40:02 PM
There has been a lot of scams within the crypto space over the course of its lifetime. Most recently, a Twitter hack that took the accounts of prominent figures within the mainstream world, has been all over the news. Mainstream media has been making people believe that Bitcoin is "bad" by tying it to the Twitter hack. While malicious actors demanded to be paid in Bitcoin, it doesn't mean that the cryptocurrency itself is a scam. Unfortunately, many people in the mainstream world have commented about Bitcoin negatively because of the recent hack. Despite these unfortunate series of events, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are experiencing huge gains on the market.

Do you think that scams harm Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies' reputation in the mainstream world? What will it take for people to distance scams from Bitcoin itself? Thoughts? Huh

I guess for some experienced users in bitcoin and ryptocurrency or someone that trade bitcoin or invest in bitcoin scams doesn't really go to affect them since they already understand how it works.

But for people who don't really have knowledge about bitcoin having scams could affect how they see bitcoin or affects the image of bitcoin having a bad reputation. The more people see bitcoin scam in the news the more they are hesitant to understand it or invest in it.

2216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What difficulty do you face on trading bitcoin? on: August 07, 2020, 10:22:44 PM
I'm a citizen of a country where bitcoin is illegal and there's no good way of trading bitcoin in legal way and secured way. I have been trading through the community I have built within these years but sometimes I got difficulty selling bitcoin, not much although. If you are from a country where BTC is legit, I think you are enjoying trading bitcoin. But what about the countries where BTC is illegal? Do you have any such way to trade bitcoin securely? I would love to hear the experiences, difficulty you faced/faces.

I think if you really dedicated to trading or investing in bitcoin their are always some ways since its bitcoin cannot really fully banned in one country.

Luckily it's not banned in my country and probably bitcoin has a bad image in my country because it is used in some illegal scam activities, but still, as long as you understand bitcoin you still going to invest in it.
2217  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Looking for advice on: August 07, 2020, 09:58:00 PM
Hello everyone. I am a total newbie, looking for a bit of advice. I want to start trading , but not even sure where to open an account.I am in the USA I would really like to fund it by using credit card cuz I'm a bit nervous about giving my bank account information. coinbase seems to be a popular one but from what I understand they only accept ACH's from the bank. Is there one that people recommend that over another? it looks like this could be fun to do, I'm obviously only going to put in small amount of money to see if I can handle it. Thanks

I think it is not a good idea to invest something that comes from a loan or a any credits since investment could always be risky at some point if you don't have funds don't invest at all.

You should invest money that you could afford to lose, I think giving your information in the bank is fine as long as the bank is working legally in your country.

Hi

my sister wants to know i it possible to move money from yer Bitcoin wallet and into yer bank, she read something on TV which had a link today but the link has changed to this: https://gordon-ramsay-kitch.myshopify.com/products/grcop for some reason

any advice would be grateful

cheers

I think you could use some bitcoin wallet to store your bitcoin and then when you are going to cash out your bitcoin you could just convert it in the wallet and then directly put it in your bank account.

It might work in some custodial wallet which is not really recommended but it is going to work. But still, you should go for something secured like Ethereum, etc. and then you could just move it to some exchange when you could withdraw it.
2220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin replace Gold someday? on: August 04, 2020, 07:37:52 PM
In these times of turmoil, Gold is reaching new ATHs in price. But Bitcoin doesn't leave behind, as it quickly recovered to its "pre-COVID" prices on the market. It's today where Bitcoin prices are relatively stable. With a limited supply of only 21 million coins, hardened security, and a focus on decentralization, Bitcoin is often viewed by many as the successor of Gold. One of Bitcoin's greatest benefits on top of Gold, is portability. You can virtually carry your Bitcoin with you safely when travelling, without anyone noticing. That's not the case with Gold, as you'd need to carry physical bullion with you. Other than portability, Gold and Bitcoin are very much alike.

Do you think that Bitcoin will be able to replace Gold someday? As we shift into the "intangible" world, people will "ditch" physical stuff in exchange for digital items. Bitcoin can become the new digital Gold which serves as a safe-haven asset (store of value) in times of need. COVID-19 will greatly encourage people to adopt Bitcoin over Gold as their next store of value of choice. Thoughts? Huh

Probably not, I think bitcoin has a big potential in the future becoming a top digital currency as we can see the bitcoin adaptation.

But I think gold is especial replacing gold is difficult and I don't think bitcoin could do that even when bitcoin is already at the top currency in the future. Having a physical thing like gold is the difference of both, owning bitcoin is just owning an imaginary gold that is just depending in the demand of the investors.
