2201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Brasileirão 2022 - Brazilian Championship Serie A on: July 21, 2022, 11:38:41 PM
Santos beat Botafogo by a good score... Fluminense also beat Goias, although the match was very difficult for both teams... Nobody wanted to concede 3 points, but the visitors were more lucky... Well Inter and Sao Paulo managed to score against each other and the game was the most intense of all the other games... I got lucky, and all my predictions came true! Grin

I'm a colorado (an international fan) and I confess that the game was really electrifying... to biting nails until the end of the game.
It's a shame that São Paulo managed to draw, I was betting on Internacional's victory, which is in a good phase, unfortunately they "woke up" late in this championship.
Internacional's next match will be against Palmeiras, a much more difficult game... but I'll bet again on Internacional's victory.
2202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Smartphones: Multi-tabling insanity! on: July 21, 2022, 11:33:03 PM

~snip~

On the other hand, it seems that the type does everything correctly, since something like this is typical of managing several accounts in the same casino

Casinos today are very advanced in detecting and banning multi-accounts.
Did this individual use a different VPN for each smartphone? I highly doubt it.
It's insane to manage all this at the same time, a lot of work for a high probability of being banned and losing all the "invested" value in a very short time.
I think this was posted as a joke and that the intention of the photo is fake.
2203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling in Moderation, Pros can out weigh its Cons in Financial and Health? on: July 21, 2022, 11:26:59 PM
Everyone has negative connotations when it comes to gambling activity but little that we know that gambling when done in moderation can offer great benefits to our mental and physical health and finance.

According to this articles[1][2][3] gambling if done in moderation can give us the following benefits.

I fully agree.
Gambling, as well as any type of entertainment, is very beneficial for anyone's health.
The problem is that gambling is highly addictive and most people who indulge in it cannot control themselves.
Then, what was supposed to be something pleasurable, fun and healthy ends up becoming a big problem.

Gambling needs to be seen only as casual, moderate entertainment, not a way to get rich or be played constantly.

Rapaz....

2206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 21, 2022, 12:26:52 AM
I have also started to see this situation like that as of now. If Conte wasn't brought to the manager position then it was a huge possibility for Kane to leave Tottenham. However Conte's arrival started to change many things about the team quickly. Kane was performing really bad before him but he started to score many goals and make assists again after Conte came. There have just been rumours about this transfer for some time and I just thought for once if it could be real.

That's true!

I don't know what "magic" Conte did at Tottenham, but his arrival radically changed the enthusiasm of the team and especially Kane.
Whereas before Kane seriously thought about leaving Tottenham, now we see that he is a super motivated and engaged player with the team... not only is he scoring goals again but also giving good assists and contributing to the team's performance.

I hope he stays at Tottenham until the end of his contract, playing motivated, and renews in 2024 if he wants to.
2207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People are not only gambling to win but they are buying entertainment on: July 21, 2022, 12:11:59 AM
This is why casinos are the most profitable industry, many people are not playing to win, they all know that there is a house edge and they will eventually lose but based on the study, people are buying entertainment.

~snip~

I agree with the result of this study you published, and I add....

Even people who gamble just for entertainment wouldn't play at casinos as much if their prize was something fictitious or any other reward other than real money.
Because the excitement, adrenaline and expectations would be much smaller and that would make the game less interesting.

Casinos are magical entertainment, but they need to be enjoyed in moderation and wisdom.
2208  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: ONU vs Criptomoedas on: July 17, 2022, 10:30:31 PM

Olha, eu acho a sugestão ridícula....

2209  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Alguns rumores surgindo sobre a Coinbase on: July 17, 2022, 10:21:23 PM

2210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This clearly damage the gambling. on: July 17, 2022, 10:16:28 PM
It's a sad reality that even professional players have taken this step because there are tons of money to gain if they chose to let go of their winnings. I believe its always a malpractice but i don't think this will be easily given a solution since most of the people involved are also those who have big titles in the game. Instead of giving the game a fair play that the audience needs to witness, there are always under the table transactions that creates more impact than just being fair to it.

I even believe that this can happen in smaller championships and teams, but I doubt that this will happen in big European tournaments and teams.
As difficult as it is to prove such manipulation, if there is any suspicion the player or team that committed the fraud can be penalized forever, and in addition to paying severe fines, you will still lose major sponsors.
For those who are afraid of this type of manipulation, I suggest betting only on larger tournaments.
2211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: July 17, 2022, 10:12:10 PM
Qatar might still surprise people. They are eagerly looking forward to this final tournament and also have all the support. And all African countries are of course also used to having to play football in these circumstances. Something European footballers are not used to. And it's also the middle of Europe's winter. If you play in England, for example, you have a chance that you were still in the snow 2 weeks before. Those are all factors that come into play. We can expect the Netherlands to have the weakest green, but it would be nice if Qatar goes to the next round.

What do you mean by surprise people? Get surprisingly good results and advance to next round? I don't think that's possible at all. They will just finish the group in last place and if they get a draw they are lucky. My expectation for them is to get exact zero points.
Some African teams are really good and if we see some of them in next stages I wouldn't be surprised. We saw Cameroon, Nigeria, Senegal in previous tournaments do good things. I wouldn't expect any other club than European and South American to be in semi finals though. That's the stage things are going hotter and big teams don't do easy mistakes at that point.

So, host countries that have the opportunity to participate in a world cup without participating in a qualifying stage hardly have good results.

And in this year... excluding Holland (who will probably qualify first), I believe it's very difficult to see Qatar doing better than Ecuador or Senegal.
So I also believe that Qatar shouldn't get past the group stage.
2212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale Betting Strategy on BlackJack, how effective it is? on: July 17, 2022, 10:05:02 PM
Before anything else, I would like to define Blackjack as a game of skill or skill-based gambling game.  Means we have more grasp on winnings the more skilled we are in this game.  With this I happen to read an article Titled: The Three Best Blackjack Betting Strategies.  I was somehow surprised when I see that Martingale betting strategy is one of the best betting strategies for Blackjack, I was kinda hesitant to believe it until I realized that BlackJack isn't a game of chance so it is sensible that Martingale Betting will give a better percentage in winning a gambling session.  Here is what the article explains about this strategy.

I agree that the use of martingale is beneficial in a game where the player's chance of winning does not depend solely on luck.
In games based only on luck, the player will always lose, as the math points to the house's victory, the use of martingale will only delay these losses and give the player a false sense of winning.

However, in a card game where strategy is mixed with skills, the martingale can indeed bring good results if used wisely and the player knows how to impose limits.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5406150.0

2215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: July 16, 2022, 12:54:43 AM
For the World Cup title, I wonder how much Brazil and Argentina are going to determined. I have a big expectation from Brazil especially. They have started to impress me quite a lot. They have one of the best squads in this tournament. The thing they need the most is having a solid game plan for the biggest tournament in the world. It would be nice to see them in the final playing against a European team for the title.

In fact, I'm also rooting for a final between Brazil and a European team... there are several interesting candidates, but I'd like to see him face France, Portugal or England.
Of course, a final between Brazil and Argentina would be classic and very interesting, but Brazil lost to Argentina in the Conmebol America Cup, and I wouldn't like to see that happen again in the FIFA world cup.

Finally... I hope Brazil doesn't face Germany, because the memory of him losing 7x1 still gives me nightmares.
2216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 16, 2022, 12:46:48 AM
According to rumors CR7 is now talking with Atletico for a potential deal.
Manchester already said they do not want to sell the player, it will be an interesting month.
I think this speculation is false, Christiano Ronaldo just turned down a deal that will see him earn a very huge sum of money in Saudi Arabia to remain at Manchester United. If he had planned on leaving United this summer I feel the Arabian deal was the best way to retire but he opted out. In my opinion, Ronaldo will prefer staying at Manchester United if the club sit up in their transfer deals and bring in new signings to give them a strong fighting chance at the EPL title. The whole rumour about Ronaldo wanting to leave is looking like media started the rumour to make sales.
So... even though United's manager has already stated that it's all right to count on Ronaldo's help for the next season, it seems to me that player would be willing to change teams in order to play in the next Champions League. as the english team failed to qualify for this competition.

About Ronaldo's retirement, let's say he isn't longer in a good performance, I believe he should seek a great title and then walk away from the fields in style so that he can be remembered for many years to come, having "come out on top".

https://economia.uol.com.br/noticias/redacao/2022/04/26/elon-musk-compra-twitter.htm

2219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Brasileirão 2022 - Brazilian Championship Serie A on: July 15, 2022, 01:11:25 AM
The luck factor is still present. I believe we've all seen big teams lose against teams considered much weaker.
A less inspired or more inattentive player can make the difference for a team to win or lose. Or an unexpected goal from the weaker team, which creates an emotional shock that makes the rest of the game difficult for the players of the stronger team.
That's why in football, statistics are not always right.

Sure... there was a season (I think it was in 2020) in which Grêmio won all the matches against strong teams, but it lost to the weakest and who were at the bottom of the table even when they played at home... totally unexplained Cheesy

I've said before posts that Brazilian football is quite unpredictable, right? It's already complicated to hit the winner, betting on an exact result is even worse.
2220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Payouts in casinos on: July 15, 2022, 01:05:50 AM
~snip~

Now the question is: ' Even though most casinos are probably fair how come some casinos have a better payout scale?'

I do understand that the machines in most casinos have to work according to the requirements met by the country or the state but at the same time they also have to make the payouts profitable since no government will ask them to manage how much money they be giving their players. So is it highly personal ?

I would like to encourage you all to research regarding the best payouts from the casinos near you.

- Have you ever considered researching about payouts before playing?

Well, first I have to say that gambling is prohibited in my country, so I won't be able to answer your question.
Second, I don't think payouts should be the main factor to look at in a casino when the most important thing is to spend money and have fun.
I believe that the most important thing is to know if the games are fair and the casino is reliable.
