2203  Other / Meta / Re: Can we sue bitcoin.com for plagiarism? on: November 16, 2018, 07:46:44 AM
So, we should sue all other bitcoin forums for plagiarism, not only bitcoin.com because there are you can find same boards as on Bitcointalk. I don't like like Bitcoin Cash, Rodger Ver and everything what is related to it, I don't see nothing in their forum. Yeah, they have boards with same name, but also there are some unique board. If Bitcointalk have boards like Bitcoin discussion, Marketplace Altcoin discussion, other forums aren't allowed to use these words and they should invent a bike and find other words to name these boards?

Development & Technical discussion? I mean, come on, can you not come up with a better name in a few hours or at least one that's different. A lot of them follow the same order as here too.

I think LTU_btc has a point here. They would need to actually copy content rather than just board names to make it plagiarism. That does remind me of when the Electrum 3.0 vulnerability was first discovered and they just copied theymos' announcement. If that's still up there you may have a case.

I've always played BET HI, and  I lost 10 times. With 47.5% chance,
the probability of losing should be 1 in 1 million.

https://prnt.sc/liseg9

I think you need to educate yourself about probabilities. You were betting on 2x so the probability of a loss is 52.5 and to calculate the probability of a streak of losses occurring you also need to consider the total sample size of bets.
To illustrate this I've used 3000 bets (I usually use 10,000 but with a streak so small that gives 100% probability).

http://completecurrencytrader.com/streak-probability-calculator.php#book_wrap

With 2x, if you want to give yourself a fighting chance, you should count on a losing streak of 22 being likely to occur.

Hi your website was approximately 1 hour off. Can you give information about the subject.

Power issue at the hosting facility took a number of our servers down. I'm not sure if it is entirely resolved yet.

It seems to be stable now. All active Reward Point bonuses have been extended by 6 hours and this weekend we will run 5x Reward Point bonus instead of 2x.

No interest credited yesterday, 12nov and 14nov were credited but 13 is missing (probably the issue on servers is the cause).
Can you pls check? I'm not the only one, i know at least 6 people with this issue.

It was credited to your balance but it was late and the display on the Earn BTC page is only programmed to show one entry a day so it cannot show that 2 payments have been made on the 14th.

Hi,
I activated the 24h bonus for RP.
Hope the timer will be delayed with the 2h of website unavailability.
Thanks

Edit : site is online now, but timer is original.
Maybe you could improve this somehow in the future.
Even deposit the RP automatically, as the user is not able to do that manually
Thanks

^^This.
I have both 100 Extra Reward Points and 1000% Free BTC Bonus running active at the time of maintenance but have not seen the 6hour extension on my timers. How can I expect this to be reflected? Thank you for the response.
Regards
Stumpy (USER ID 10964585)

Are you sure about that? A script was run that added 6 hours to all active bonuses and everyone else is confirming it was added. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=320959.msg47879779#msg47879779

2206  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: November 14, 2018, 08:42:51 AM

There are over 16 million accounts. It takes a little while for the script to complete.

I guess you guys are fully aware that the interest rate script got defective as well?
Defective or just a little late, yesterdays 0.01 compound percentage was not added.
I believe you will look in to it, maybe you did already but if didn't than I'm letting you know there is something wrong with it.

I hadn't spotted that. It's only 1hr 30 past the end of yesterday on server time. I'm not sure if it is just delayed or needs a nudge but I've let wetsuit know.

Just to update that. The interest was paid late due to the failure on the 13th and interest has been credited twice during the 14th. The Earn BTC page is programmed to only display one payment a day so it is not displayed there but is reflected in your balance.

I remember the days when bitcoin was still new to me & I found this faucet... that time it didn't have any games like it does today. It was just a pure simple plain faucet with referrals.

Good to see old faucets like this still running. Brings back lots of memories - be it good or bad - they are always precious.

We were able to adapt and replace the income from advertising when it dried up. That's why we are still going after 5 years where most faucets shut down.

hi thequin, why withdraw dogecoin take so long.

The Doge client hasn't had any development for years and it isn't very good at dealing with the volume of transactions we do. Our Doge node quite often gets behind the network and there isn't anything we can do other than wait for it to catch up.

it is pending from website, not network.

Yeah, as I just explained, the large number of transactions we make means that we end up with a backlog. There is nothing we can do about it because it is a limitation in the Doge node software which hasn't been developed and maintained over the years in the same way the Bitcoin one has.

2208  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: November 14, 2018, 02:03:20 AM
The website will be taken down from 19:00 to 21:00 UTC (time.is/UTC) on the 14th of November for some scheduled maintenance. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

https://twitter.com/freebitco/status/1062191624640356352

But Freebitco.in and Freedoge.co.in down for last few hours. Did something unplanned happened? When both websites will be online again?

Power failure at the hosting centre, taken a large number of our servers out of action.

My remaining time for active reward point seems didnt change. Countdown timer still the same before maintenance

Just checked and 6 hours extention active reward point has appeared. Thank you

i witdrawn today some amount from my account but in fact the transaction was not created
Please be so kind and check asap! Find below the screen:

The receiving address is 3HzepjGWDnmsdY1zzgmuM59rZc4bVmcrGt
No any BTC was sent by freebitco.in on that address but the amount was deducted from my account balance
Thanks in advance.

As you probably know already, your 0.001 BTC were transferred to the receiving address:

https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/3HzepjGWDnmsdY1zzgmuM59rZc4bVmcrGt

I've been using FreeBitco.in for years, and I've never had any problem with withdrawal from the site. If you want your withdrawal request was processed faster, choose INSTANT withdrawal option next time. I'm personally always okay with the SLOW option, but actually 0.00003060 BTC, as it is at present, is not that big an amount if you are in hurry.

Thanks Betwrong. I get a lot of these on the support email and it usually turns out the receiving service they are using requires 3 or 6 confirmations before crediting it to their account.

Is there a way to programmatically know my original referral? Also, is there a way to get the userid's of my own referrals?

Thanks..

No. We respect our users' privacy.

Please,

Administrators of freebitcoin, i have one doubt:

Can i create many accounts in the site and deposit in all these accounts a balance of BTC for remove captcha, and play free roll in all accounts all hours? I say this because i noticed that the site allows play free roll one more time in the same hour in on diferent accounts when accounts is without captcha; if i do this, am i going against the rules of the site?

No. Only one free roll per person per hour. Doing that in more than one account is abusing the faucet and is not only cheating us but means there is less money to give honest people that only use one account.

So would not it be more appropriate for the site to block more than one other roll for different accounts when they are without captcha? The same happens when the account has the captcha.

We make exceptions to allow families to play if they deposit and wager enough. Unfortunately, people try to exploit that but they are taking a big risk if they get caught.
