2201  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCJam.com problems on: June 09, 2016, 10:16:37 AM
probably your document seems untrustworthy for them because even people whose come from 1st tier country with a trustworthy document can rip people off through btcjam so why accepting an untrustworthy document, but there's still a way to get a loan with collateral atleast it values 120% more than your requested money

I sent my passport and a receipt for utility bills. bank statement within 90 days from the confirmation of my salary for 3 months. My salary is 1700 pounds. The loan was needed in the amount of 0.7 BTC for a period of 30 days. This loan is not difficult for me to pay.

1700 pounds to be honest isn't that high of an amount for an average wage... However, the loan that you're trying to take out seem to be only around 25% of your monthly salary earned.

Have you tried with a lower amount? I mean, BTCJam is pretty legit AFAIK.
2202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: June 09, 2016, 10:14:58 AM
I do the same. Paypal for shopping, Bitcoin when possible.
If there list of merchants rises I will make sure I will start depositing to my bitcoin wallet, instead of my paypal wallet.

Yeah, Paypal has really good protection for the buyer when it comes to buying stuff, but when you're selling or trading, bitcoin is the best. Also when you're investing, bitcoin is the best as well.

So overall bitcoin wins, although paypal can be a convenient temporary payment method.
2203  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: June 09, 2016, 10:14:02 AM
Is there ant Admin. online to help me unlock GlobalFiasco and Nummy....Says too many attempts at login for both accounts.I have also sent to PD support. Help please i wanna roll the dice but am locked out right now Sad

Shogen thanks for reply, never happened to me before, so I must wait Sad thats ok

Yeah, I have had the problem as well. If you have a bank account I suggest you use it in Incognito mode instead of logging in and out of both accounts to gain access to your funds.

To my understanding it's around 30 minutes that you have to wait. If you try again within that 30 minutes, that time resets AFAIK.
2204  Economy / Economics / Re: How good are you at managing your money on: June 09, 2016, 10:12:29 AM
I'm not really good at managing my money, because when i received my bitcoin from signature campaign, i always lose it all on gambling. Maybe i will start managing my money carefully from now.

Yeah, definitely. Gambling is a huge part of managing your money. If you cannot resist the thought of gambling, then bad luck. You won't be able to succeed in managing your money at any level.

Resisting lures is a skill that can only be acquired over time.
2205  Economy / Economics / Re: Next money on: June 09, 2016, 10:09:45 AM
The total majority of Bitcoin holders think of their favorite toy as the next step in the evolution of money (less so for active users). I don't deny the technological innovation in respect to the blockchain and the decentralized nature of how new money is created. With that said, I still don't think that Bitcoin did actually revolutionize the concept of money itself. Gold as money existed long before fiat, and it was "created" in a decentralized way too, so nothing particularly new here also...

I have an idea what could be an entirely new form of money (actually, it is not my idea), but first I would like to hear from you, guys, what you think about the truly new money that is yet to be invented or implemented

I think that the real money is the ones that are decentralized. Over the years people have been going back and forth between good money(money that is not controlled by government) and fiat currencies.

And bitcoin in my opinion is the next gen good money. Just like gold.
2206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we still say that BTC transactions are faster? on: June 09, 2016, 10:06:11 AM
Can we still say that bitcoin transactions are faster?
I have send some of my bitcoins to an address and about one hour has been passed but still there is not even a single confirmation.

what do you say about the transaction timing?

Bitcoin transactions have probably been slower for me over the past months since I would usually get confirmations within the first block that appeared if I paid 0.0001 fee, but now, I would have to wait half a day sometimes.

So no, I don't think that transactions are faster in any means.
2207  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: June 09, 2016, 10:04:54 AM
after reading a lot about the pricing of bitcoin and its usage and about halving I came to the conclusion that there is nothing which can stop the price of bitcoin to rise up but if God wanted.

Yeah, definitely. I think that bitcoin value is going to go up all the way at least till the end of 2016. So yeah, I think that 2016 is going to be the year of bitcoin. Some people are saying 2017, but I'm saying 1 year earlier.

The halving is in 2016 too, a great event to have.
2208  Other / Off-topic / Re: I spent all my saving on bitcoin, now i am broke on: June 09, 2016, 10:03:56 AM
Well, you have my opinion, and that is that your money was well spent. To become rich obviously you'd have to make some sacrifices on your lifestyle. You've gotta save hard and constant, man.

But it's pretty illogical for someone to save their BTC in a fountain?Huh? Where did you get that idea from?
2209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with 1,5 BTC? on: June 09, 2016, 10:02:54 AM
buying strongest altcoin like etherum is good way to invest your 1,5BTC

Not really in my opinion, because most altcoins are scams to steal money off the unsuspecting newbie. Pump and dump schemes are the worst scams that you can fall for. They are really shitcoins.

I'd just hold it in cold storage, your coins should be safe there.
2210  Other / Off-topic / Re: In 20 years, what would you like to do with your bitcoin? on: June 09, 2016, 09:58:52 AM
in 20 years, if bitcoin price is multiplied by 100x from today's price, i will gamble everyday and night it, wise gambling of course until i double my bitcoin on that year

Wow, gambling with bitcoin can already be done with the current network, and overall if you're looking to generate profit, gambling is not a viable option. You could possibly get away with it for a while, but after a few deposits you'll start losing.

I would like to buy all my needs for bitcoins. That would say something about bitcoin's adoption IMO.
2211  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcointalk is a good way to get information about Bitcoins? on: June 09, 2016, 09:47:26 AM
Do you think that Bitcointalk is a good way to get knowledge and information about Bitcoins?? because Bitcointalk is very useful for me to get information about Bitcoin.

Yeah definitely, I think bitcointalk is one of the best news sources about bitcoin, and one of the best places to go to to discuss about bitcoin. It is certainly the top forum to discuss bitcoin on.

You can also trade and exchange bitcoins on this forum, which is great.
2212  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: June 09, 2016, 09:46:08 AM
When bitcoin drops ten bucks, buy. When it rises 10 bucks, sell. Bitcoin goes up and down at the same price multiple times a day, and you can automate this process m

Yeah, there are several trading bots out there right now that offers these kind of features. They allow you set a buy order once the price is dropping, and a sell order once the price has risen.

But if you choose to do it this way, you'll have to have a large enough capital. Otherwise it's not worthwhile.

2214  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the banks dont give free money? Why they loan it? on: June 08, 2016, 07:38:49 AM
If banks give out free money, then the currency base will expand infinitely. The loaning part is also giving banks a bit of profit, so that they can sustain in this huge fiat scam of our world.

Banks want a slice of the profit, under the fractional reserve scheme.
2215  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: June 08, 2016, 07:37:34 AM
I would do both, basically bitcoins job is not time specific so once I get home at 5 pm i would give all my time for it. And if bitcoins income continues to impress me I will surely leave the job !

I too prefer the same. Its better to have a good day job, so that one could earn good amount periodically and can have additional earning for the comfort of living. Won't go full on bitcoin.

Yeah, full time just seems too extremely currently. There aren't that many opportunites out there which offer you a real full time job dealing only with bitcoin. A day job seems more sustainable at the moment.

But you can always convert your wage into bitcoins. That's something that you should and could do.
2216  Economy / Economics / Re: How good are you at managing your money on: June 08, 2016, 07:32:52 AM
I'd say not very good at it currently, since I'd rage bet most of my money away before I get a chance to access those savings. But I'm trying to improve on my managing skills for sure.

I think not getting lured into investment schemes as well as gambling is a very important part of managing your money. If you just save and not invest, then that's not good either.
2217  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: June 08, 2016, 07:30:51 AM
Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Digital Asset. Grin

It is recognized as property in many countries, including UK and the US. In Germany, it is regarded as currency.
Not quite yet, herc in Philippines where we are one of 3rd world country, bitcoin doesnt discovered yet by 97% of people

Very true. I only know of about 5 Australians who are on bitcointalk, and there's only one bitcoin atm in my state. It's also down for maintainance 24/7...

Yeah, although bitcoin is still going through adoptions and still has a long way to go till it becomes a complete global currency, I'd say that we're getting there. There are more people right now that know about bitcoin, than 2 years ago. Which is obviously good.

I'd say that within 5 years we will see a major shift in wealth into bitcoin.
2218  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another Friday with a BIG Pump on: June 08, 2016, 07:28:48 AM
I have noticed a few Fridays bringing big pumps for us in the value of bitcoin like the previous one, in which the priced increased about $100 and from $450 it reached to $550.

So what are you thinking for this Friday, My prdiction is that it will definitely bring a big profit and I think now the price will reach to about $670.

what is your prediction?

I think that with this Friday coming up in 2 days we could see the $600 barrier go down very quickly. I also noticed that every week around Thursday or Friday there is a huge pump, and I'm hoping for one this week as well.

Since the halving is actually closer right now than the last Friday, I'd expect a larger pump.
2219  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CLDmine is down then whos next? :) :) on: June 08, 2016, 07:27:50 AM
How funny! CLDMine's admin tried to prove his innocence with "Guaranteed Refunds" thing and very funnily, it never existed. In fact, I searched around those addresses (the ones which received those refunds) and most of them lead to the same following bitcoin wallet:

1GUkazUBpXWdSJ9HbgTapAH7uybpi3Cs6K

Pretty sure that all of those refunds are totally fake.

Yeah, I doubt there will be a ponzi scheme where they are legit enough to refund their customers their scammed money, provided that they have paid for the "guaranteed refund" service beforehand.

Simply another way to troll, I guess. They're gone for sure.
2220  Other / Meta / Re: im new here can someone give some tips how to increase my lvl? on: June 08, 2016, 07:27:08 AM
need help to learn more about btctalk and bitcoin thanks to those who will help much appreciate it

You should really move this topic to the meta section as it does not belong here. If you want to increase your level on this forum, simply stay active and keep contributing in conversations.

Simply posting a lot will not help you, because you only gain 14 activity points every 2 weeks.
