He's a seasteader. That's why he's talking about zones and regions instead of land. Have fun fighting off pirates.

Fighting pirates?!  With the prospects of life in modern society, this is probably one of the most fun I can think of.

I know, right?  Cheesy

Is this more of that sealand abandoned oil rig selling prank passports and assorted trinkets in a doomed quest for relevancy?

Looking at the conference schedule I think it's going to be the Blueseed ship.

Session 1: "Here's our Bitcoin startups ship full of Bitcoin startups!"
Session 2: "Oh, and we're our own nation. Bitcoin!"

#madrespect to those showing up and spreading the btc gospel.

Would loved to have made it out there.  Will def. catch the next 1 in Vegas, but this 1 seem huge and is making me a bit jelly Smiley

glglglglgl bitcoin'ers in CA!

What? No Micon-Inaba shenanigans? Booooring.

Wait. Do they do clothing on your oil platform, OP? Like seaweed bandanas and whaleskin jackets?

Haha, gold!  Wink

No, dummy, gold is horrible for armor purposes. Bullets go right through that crap.

Use Bitcoins instead, they are proven to stop bullets!*

No, see, what we'll have to do is do an A-Team and clad the whole thing in steel plating,

Actually if we get rid of the wholes in the roof we might catapult launch some F14s from there too.

No worries, I've flown those too and I only crash land about 2 out of 3 times.

Dude, I've played video games all my life. That's nothing I can't handle.

I would pay to see greyhawk having some intense firefight with some pirates! That would define entertainment. Smiley

Oh god, I need to go shopping. I need a bandana and an 80s leather jacket.

Wait. Do they do clothing on your oil platform, OP? Like seaweed bandanas and whaleskin jackets?

Unfortunately the pirates would be modern too, with AK-47's and perhaps some grenades. Smiley

I recently took a Cassacuis coin with me while riding the bus. Can I have a subforum dedicated to short-distance public transportation?

2210  Economy / Goods / Re: Im hungry (Pizza hut) Buy me a pizza on: May 17, 2013, 02:28:32 PM
That's not Pizza they sell at Pizza hut. It's baked dough with things on it, but not a pizza. So how can I order a Pizza for you from Pizza hut, when they don't sell pizza.
2211  Other / Meta / Re: Annoying "reputation" threads in off topic.... on: May 17, 2013, 02:20:27 PM
greyhawk: are you suggesting posting in those threads that the guy scammed you?

What? Who? Me? Never.

There's much better ways to make these threads... interesting.
2212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whatever happened to the Bitcoin Police? on: May 17, 2013, 02:19:12 PM
I remember hearing a lot about these "Bitcoin Police" a year or two ago. But now it seems they have disappeared?

What happened?

Bitcoin is still full of rogues, scoundrels, and swindlers. Why aren't they doing their job?

Last I checked Bitcoin Police were a bunch of Australian dudes smoking BBQ and swilling beer, looking at a proxy-registered domain in WHOIS every few months and maybe portscanning a tornode if the weather was fine, predictably ending in "Nope, can't find 'im, mate! Cheers!" and some more drunkenness.
2213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is a "Bitcoin Supernode"? on: May 17, 2013, 02:03:27 PM
Because pyramids are landing bases for alien spaceships! http://www.se51.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/stargateRaHatak.jpg

That file name makes no sense. That's a Cheops class vessel, not a Ha'tak.

Am I allowed to discourage them? I have some... shall we say... ways to make them unviable.
2215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PSA: Bitcoin's survival and long term prospects depend on MtGox getting killed. on: May 17, 2013, 12:39:02 PM
Mt. Gox really is the only show in town.

Oh, absolutely. That it is, but not for the reasons you think it is.

Has anyone actually won ?

Yes. User evoorhees has won a lot.
2217  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Merlins Magic Bitcoins.com (wtf!) on: May 17, 2013, 10:59:53 AM
Seems that the well known yet little discussed fact that the majority of people "in Bitcoin" have a mental age of about nine is finally being recognized and exploited commercially.
My Little Pony would have a higher mental age than this.

Time for Bronycoin?
2218  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MtGox removal of DHS statements from site and Facebook on: May 17, 2013, 10:16:33 AM
Because they don't want to shake confidence?

Well that doesn't seem to be working all that well

Quote
It's a trap. MtGox has removed all info about DHS and Dwolla. They are withholding all information. I smell something fishy in here.

Ill bet the ceo is on the run from the charges hes about to receive I may be wrong tho lol
2219  Economy / Reputation / Re: LukePFS Reputation Thread on: May 17, 2013, 09:07:15 AM
Just a FYI. Opening one of these retarded "reputation threads" is the best way to convince established members that you are not to be trusted and will get you regarded as a scammer or at least proto-scammer.

GreyHawk, with all possible honesty !!!!

I'm a new member and there are thousands of scammer retards around !!

How i should show my honesty to trade coins with all responsibility without a trading history Huh?

If you show me a good way, i will follow it for sure.

Hints now ?

Ah, ok. Shocked
The forum software does filter the mail for everyone, and filter the filter for just me, so i can send me an email...
Veeeeery reasonable.... Roll Eyes

But thanks for the answer.

It can be kinda useful. It reminds me of which honeypot adress I used to register here because I sure as hell didn't use my real one.
