2201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoion in a web comic on: August 14, 2019, 11:15:40 AM
I don't know why these shapes are used but this just came to my mind for no reason.

When the triangle took the letter from Satoshi Nakamoto, pyramiding came up to my mind. I don't know about the circle or the other guy, that dialogue, taking the letter is like that triangle taking Bitcoin to the users, like pyramiding, a scam. Don't mind me though, this is just a canon based on what I read, it is nice though, keep this thread updated.
2202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen when the last Bitcoin is mined ? on: August 14, 2019, 10:50:30 AM
Obviously, noone will mine Bitcoin again.

Why are we asking this? Did you know that this will be a long time from now? Miners will be sticking for long for the fees, and I am seeing an expensive price from that fees because that will be the only way miners will ever stick to Bitcoin. Though the miners now will obviously be dead at that time because that is still a long time from now.
2203  Economy / Economics / Re: Differences between an investor and common man! on: August 14, 2019, 10:27:19 AM
The common man splurges too much and doesn't think long term. The investor tries to make financial decisions based on increasing his money over the future.

Not all of them though.

There are a lot of people out there that is not even an investor but they know a lot of things they should do and not should do. To be honest, I don't even know what is the requirements or a classification of a person to achieve that kind of being an investor, can anyone explain that?
2204  Economy / Economics / Re: Crimes involving crypto have risen on: August 13, 2019, 11:39:49 PM
It would be really good if someone can actually think of a project for these kind of criminals, thou it would take a lot of money to be really real.

Why do they need to bother?

It is not that they are impossible to stop, it is just that they are smarter enough than their victims. That is the reason why people should really educate themselves about these crimes, about these scams and these hacks. How would you secure your balances? what you should do? Decetralization is a great thing and obviously, crime would be really connected to it.
2205  Economy / Economics / Re: Supply and demand curve analysis, why Bitcoin does or does not change price. on: August 11, 2019, 11:42:52 AM
when we are using the Bitcoin continuously then it will not been stable for a long time in a same position that is the most important reason that we don't have the prediction about the Bitcoin in any situation and more over normal will reduce the value or increase the value.

Obviously, with its volatility, that would be hard.

Demand and its investors are the most reason why the price of Bitcoin do change and not change. It is more of it changes that it do not change since as I said, with its volatility and a lot of its users, Bitcoin will change so quickly.
2206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Things That Comes Into Your Mind When Winning... on: August 11, 2019, 09:54:00 AM
When winning, I think everyone's experiencing that 'more greed' on themselves. Like we want to win more. Since it's fun. The feeling of winning is fun that's why we always wanted to win and that's when the greed comes. We don't get satisfied with 1 win and want to win even more, not thinking what if we lose.

No riches and in this world can satisfy a greedy person, that is the truth.

Gamblers usually told themselves they can be rich with gambling risking their money with their luck and skill but usually it is all about the luck. Always remember to have fun while gambling since we all know you will never win in continuous gambling unless you are having fun despite that losses you are having since that is your goal all along.
2207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling habits that will cost you on: August 11, 2019, 03:51:22 AM
The worst of gambling habits that can cost a gambler is when winning and still want to win more thereby end up losing the entire winning and run into loss and still want to get or recover the lost. Never try to recover your lost when you are losing in any gambling platform's.

I think the habits that should gamblers be aware of is being serious to gamble.

We should never be serious with gambling, it should be a way of entertaining yourself, to have fun since if you will be serious with gambling, you will be losing your money and you will be losing your temper that usually leads to more losses. Atleast if you are having fun, you are still losing money but you are having fun.
2208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about Gambling and e-sports? on: August 10, 2019, 12:39:08 PM
E-Sports is growing very very big at fast pace. Many physical sports were already beaten by E-Sports prize pool especially Dota 2 where year by year it continues to beat its own record. I love E-Sports.😍😍

E-sports are getting very much popular amount the new / young generation and I doubt one day they will surpass the gambling games.
I am a big fan of Dota 2

I think the two don't have to compete to get the most preferred one, basically gambling is also about games right? and E-sports can also contain gambling you know, because frequently many players actually bet who will win and gain profits each others. both are sustainable for me.

Not just that.

You know, most of the games right now has the lootboxes, where they buy a treasure, a cratebox or something like that. That is a gamble, gamers or players buy these expecting getting something nice, a Startrak, an immortal or super rare item that they want to that they can brag to their friends.
2209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Man won 12 times in lottery on: August 10, 2019, 09:37:44 AM
I think this is the history of winning in lotto who same person who won 12 times. My dream is to win only once in lotto so I try my luck to bet and to pick my lucky number and to win even hundred thousands dollars per draw. How much is the total he won? He still bet in lotto and try again to win for his 13th win? Im very excited if he win again and I will follow him so I can win also.
You can get the current status of the man who won lotteries 12 time if you read the OP throughly. He was banned from playing lotteries on his country and when he moved to other country where he got arrested for his continuous winning activity on lottery.
There must be something wrong with him. But the fact that he had won for 12 times already, he's not just lucky but a smart guy really. I think even if there is a very small chance winning in lottery, there is really that one lucky person who will stand out among others.

Of course he wasn't just lucky, but neither he was a mathematical genius. If you'll watch the video from the OP and read a couple of articles on the case, you'll see that he was playing games with positive EV, so there's no wonder he profited in the end. But I would compare his behavior with someone who buys out all goods with big discount leaving other people without opportunity to benefit from the discount sale. That's what he was doing basically, because it was meant that many participants of the lottery would win bigger prizes than they usually could.

He knows what's the odds are and by having enough knowledge on how to calculate the possible wwinning combinations he ended up winning 12 times. only him he can do this kind of thing because of his insane skills about mathematical combinations.

He is not just mathematically smart but also street wise.

A lot of people thinks that buying a lot of lottery tickets will boost your probability to win but what he did is apply math into it and with a lot of "investors", he can buy a lot of lottery tickets to win. Obviously he did something that can increase that more like printing tickets in their base, which is illegal nowadays.
2210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: August 10, 2019, 04:14:35 AM
Exactly, age is not a concern here, the issue here is how much money will Floyd make, hehehe. Even Arum, Pacman's former manager is into hyping the fight as well.

https://www.boxingscene.com/arum-manny-pacquiao-beat-floyd-mayweather-now--141534

They seemed to keep pushing and pushing until this will come into reality.

Arum is a big name in the sport and has been making money in this sport and I know he knows how to hype as well, LOL.
Hopefully his statement would add more hype so Mayweather will be force to fight Manny, of course if the price is good.

Their first fight turns out to be a big success but the 2nd one might bring them big bucks for each, 60-40 in favor of Floyd is a good sharing and I think Manny will agree with this.
But it's weird though, why would Arum join the hype train? Is there something to him in the table as well? hehehe. Yes, I would agree that 60-40 in favor of Floyd is fair to say the least. Floyd will be Floyd, he will still be the A-side here no matter what Pacman do.

I think he's just one of the guys that want the fight to happen.

I agree also that Floyd has the favor, just hope this happens and it will happen well for Pacquiao, I am supporting him BTW. Another fight is looming and another Filipino boxer will be fighting Naoya Inoue. I've been following this Japanese monster and that punching power is really a gift. If no one knows this guy, immediately check him out, he is a savage beast. I want someone to stop him and then I read that Nonito will be facing him this November, another match hype.
2211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need anonymity? on: August 10, 2019, 03:42:45 AM
it is true that what is sought is freedom in cryptocurrency. but the obstacle that must be overcome is the government. many governments still consider it, for various reasons, including money laundering, corruption, illegal trade, etc. hopefully there is a solution soon

Even without cryptocurrency, they can still do this.

A lot of cases of money being laundered and they are not using cryptocurrencies. Corruption is so popular to every country, still without the use and being legal of cryptocurrencies. Illegal trade and any other illegal acts can still be done without cryptos so I don't think we should have a problem with that. The only problem the government faces is how will they be able to put a tax on these cryptos.
2212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think altcoins will be used for in the future. on: August 10, 2019, 03:22:20 AM
To be honest, I don't know what will happen, but for sure what thing is happening, it is developing.

Cryptocurrencies are not just a bunch of investment or coins that you decide to be in or not, they have their reasons and that is how they gather their investors. Time advances, technology is too and also the improvement of these cryptos. That is the reason they might be used in the future and Blockchain technology is so part of that whole too.
2213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need anonymity? on: August 10, 2019, 02:58:28 AM
Of course, anonymity has many negative sides, but we can not say that it is bad. Just many do not want someone to know about their income and expenses and they want to dispose of their funds on their own, without control from the outside.

We just want freedom, that is just it.

I've been using fiat for a long time and there are a lot of protocols to be followed, a lot of rules we should know and follow and that sometimes block us to what we should do. The payments that should be easy and quick became long and so annoying that is why cryptocurrencies are the best with its decentralization and anonymity to back that up.
2214  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I still get wealthy through Bitcoin? on: August 10, 2019, 02:09:11 AM
Yes only i you are not in a haste to make money. Taking advantage of bitcoin dip will enable you make good money to become wealthy from it. There was a time bitcoin dropped to 3k$ those that bought at that price atr already in huge profit as we think

That is right, that is a huge profit right there.

And remember when the price dumped back to $3000, the first time it reached a 5-digit price, they earned their first profit and then after that the price dumped back again and pumped back again to what is our price right now, $11780, another profit for them. You just need to wait and if you are capable and good enough to manage that investment, you can either get a lot of profit or get a lot of losses.
2215  Economy / Economics / Re: Differences between an investor and common man! on: August 10, 2019, 01:37:23 AM
Not all of those common man will do that.

They might not be an investor but most of the people do know what they are doing. I don't take loans since I know that that will just be a nuisance to me. Instead of doing that, I plan ahead, I save some extra money I don't usually use so if there is an emergency, I can use that saved money.
2216  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain-based anti-counterfiet drugs made by Students from Cebu Phillippines on: August 09, 2019, 12:51:18 PM
Congratulations to these students!

At first I thought that it is about drugs and they've done it connecting to the unstoppable drug use in our country but I think that is the wrong drugs. Either way, I want to thank these students not only because they are representing our country and also because Blockchain, a technology behind Bitcoin are being used in this. I hope a lot of students and people see this technology and might be introduced more to cryptocurrencies.
2217  Economy / Economics / Re: What are some not so obvious things that damage a country's economy? on: August 09, 2019, 09:44:11 AM
First of all, you need a really professional government that will not abuse its capabilities and will correctly lead a country in which people are not labor and slaves, but a real engine of economy and progress.  Citizens of the state are not only working hands, but also smart heads, thanks to which the state exists.  It seems to me that in the first place, unprofessional governments harm the state and the economy.

I don't get that, at all..

I mean the government most of the time requires a lot of things from a certain person, before the person was even elected and I think that makes them a professional. Most of them are one but the thing is that what they learned, what they know, they are not using to help the country they are serving in but they are just helping themselves. That is why there are a lot of corrupt officials that don't really help the country but make the country more worse.
2218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CS:GO VGO Skin Gambling on: August 09, 2019, 09:25:53 AM
You need to be careful though, Steam tracks down and brings these gambling websites to an end if they found out about your operation. I remembered before like 4-5 years ago, Steam was very lenient about skin gamblings but what made it changed was when teams purposely lose the match in order to win bets they personally made in the website.
In Dota 2 this is what they call 322.

I don't know the term for CSgo.

I do play CSGO for a year now and I don't think people intentionally do this kind of thing in tournaments.

CSGO is a great game but the usual problem about this game is it is full of bugs, abused OP guns and usually taking advantages of terrains like the confidential olofboost. I do have some skins I can gamble but I don't know the trusted sites..
2219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Things That Comes Into Your Mind When Winning... on: August 09, 2019, 08:18:04 AM
I don't know, to be honest.

When I usually gamble, I don't really use a huge amount so I don't expect anything from it most of the time but when I do gamble, and I won some amount, I think of another strategy, there are some doubts to my next bets and the usual is that I am expecting my next bet to lose or maybe win some but I don't expect that since we are talking about gambling here.
2220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: August 09, 2019, 07:30:21 AM
They should be more professionals handling this kind of attitude as they are being paid to play their best, WB already have new teammates and if he's still chasing for the ring then partnering with Harden can give him a good chance to be more competitive, just need more dedication and lots of team plays.

I don't even know how will they play that.

We all know how these two plays and I am really curious how will this team works in the upcoming season. A ball hogger and a record holder, oh yeah and there's Westbrook too that also wanting to get his stats the same.
