Who panic bought?? ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I didn't panic buy; I made the preplanned decision to buy when the downtrend broke. wow, for 3 days nobody dumps at 550 $, and thats a downtrend broke. so naive to think that. This is exactly what I thought during the recovery in 2013. "It's only going up because nobody is dumping". All the way from $66 to $200. I have told myself many times now to ignore that thought. The lack of dumping indicates some change in supply in the background which you can't understand. no changes in supply, new 3600 coins hit the market every day. Just out of curiosity - do they really? Do we know what percentage of new coins are sold immidiately vs held? we can speculate, but I dont see a point. its a fact that we have new 3600 coins every day. For the last 6 months it's been closer to 4500 per day. yes, we had some crazy difficulty jumps. Now we are at halt. I guess somebody is trying to push the difficulty, not the price actually.

Like I said you don't understand. -Change in supply to exchanges. -Because people are buying OFF exchange. -Change in supply because people aren't shorting anymore (and are covering shorts instead) -Change in supply because no more goxcoins from builder. -Other reasons si, si. I dont understand. good luck to ya, and your 570 buy.

this is fun to watch ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FDmxs4e8.png&t=663&c=_n2wVF1YvYnaIg) obvious maniuplation is obvious. why doesnt he simply buy into 600 if he needs those coins so bad? Because they can get em 3 bucks cheaper a piece.. really? I guess thats the reason why that 3k wall was moving from 570~597 in a downtrend. cheapness all the way.

To counter the FUD, the most important news of the day is actually something unrelated to Gox and Vietnam.
Fortress has bought $20m worth of bitcoins at an average price of ~$900
they bought these today?? No, last year then it doesnt matter.. Fortress are not idiots. They wouldn't have purchased an asset like this unless they believed they would get at least 5-10x return Yes, they are idiots. even markets proved them idiots. this. they are bag hodlers now.

Shit i'm screwed, i have 18 S1's coming in tomorrow with DHL. UPS last time was 80€ for 3 S1's, i hope DHL is not to expensive, or it was my last direct order via bitmain themselfs! WHY DID BITMAIN CHANGE COURIER WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE???Their ORDER website states: UPS is for international shipment by default, DHL and EMS are also available, while making a special comment if needed. S.F. Express is for domestic shipment. well, you are screwed. DHL will ask you for a lot of papers and money for customs fees.

I agree.
someone is really tryiing hard to push the price past 600. but average joe is simply not buying.

|
why are you complaining?
that is the actual price of the miner. you must understand that customs of many countries do check the real value of the shipment no matter what value you put on the invoice.
so its a kind a unfair for you to pay 30 $, while others must pay 200 $.
it is even more unfair if you order more miners.
The actual price of the miners is 1.45 BTC and since BTCUSD and BTCEUR have been jumping up and down like a kangaroo on drugs, there is no telling what the actual price of the miner is. yes, thats why you take the exchange rate when you made your order. You have to learn that not everybody is buying miners to sell the mined BTC for USD or EUR directly. Same thing in other words, not everybody is buying BTC with USD or EUR to buy miners. There are people who buy miners with BTC and actually spend the BTC (on other miners or to actually buy stuff) yes, but you cant pay customs with bitcoins. and you cant produce miners with bitcoins.
