2201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you had to choose to put 5 BTC into 1 BTC investment, what would that be? on: July 28, 2015, 11:42:10 AM
Litecoin, 2 months ago. Smiley

It still is, probably, a good investment.

Can you tell me after the next bubble please so I at least have a chance ?
2202  Economy / Goods / Re: NEW! Anon VCC VBA SIM cards | Anonymous Reloadable Visa Cards+IBAN bank account on: July 28, 2015, 09:40:08 AM
Just wanted to post and confirm my good experience with these cards. Worked perfectly as described. I receieved the card about 5-6 days after ordering, all of which went smoothly. I activated the card through tor following the instructions exactly, and was able to withdraw btc to it from the exchange mentioned with no issues whatsoever. I held the money in the account for maybe a week before spending it, and had no issues.

Great service, will probably buy again soon.

P.S: I noticed these cards are blocked in several countries, and have heard of people's cards getting blocked. I have no idea if using tor and landing on an exit node in one of these countries, then logging into bzwbk would cause problems. I went ahead and took an extra precaution and downloaded a second copy of tor browser to use specifically for bzwbk, and then loaded this up into the torrc:

ExcludeExitNodes {LY}, {SO}, {CN}, {VN}, {PK}, {AF}, {AZ}, {KZ}, {PE}, {AR}, {BO}, {CO}, {TR}, {RS}, {UA}, {MD}, {BA}, {UZ}, {TM}, {IR}, {SD}, {KP}, {MM}, {CU}, {SY}
StrictNodes 1

Possibly overkill, but hey, its money and its nice to minimize the possibility of being flagged. Note: Tor recommends not doing this, as it might affect anonymity. I would only do this to log into bzwbk. Use regular tor config to connect for everything else.

I can not sign up to bitcureex

few topics ago people mentioned to change the name of Doged
as this is such a nice high quality coin ( especially compared to brother Doge ) I think its a great idea
question for the Dev is will it have a big impact to change everything or will it be relatively easy
following this topic for a while and progress is magnificant but name does not seem to be related to it.
joe average mights thinks its just same in a bunch of hundreds..

I think Doge is a big success however lame the technical side was.
Also due to the amount of coins mined etc it does fall in line.

Can we add 2FA in wallet? I had 400 coins and today I signed in and only had 92 coins. I lost over 300 coins and I believe it could be possible that someone is stealing my coins.  I've been losing coins every month from my wallet..I don't see a reason why they would just disappear unless someone is stealing them from my wallet.

This happened to me once... Email the DEVS they will sort out your lost coins
2206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Silk Road 2.0 Found Blake Benthall Released from Prison on: July 27, 2015, 06:37:40 PM

Guys my wallet is stuck downloading blocks. This means its online but stuck downloading block chain. Any ideas?

Hey hey,

Lets do some troubleshooting first:

1) Do you have the latest wallet version? (2.3.1)?

2) If so...did you try using the quick block download (http://forum.netcoinfoundation.org/...in the header bar, there is a link for quick block download)?

Let us know.  If that doesn't work, we'll have to dig deeper.

Great I will try this tonight. How many coins is decent to start staking for big rewards?

Keep us posted!

For staking: Depends on what your view of big rewards is Smiley  For some of us at NET, every single NET is a big reward.  But, you know..we're kinda bias Wink

1 Million will get you 80% return (although, bear in mind that the 80% is the targeted annual rate, so, with 6 months left at that rate, you're looking more closer to 40%.  So, put 1mil in now, have 1.4 million come Dec...if you keep staking and keep that wallet open often).

100,000 NET gives you 30% at the moment (so, 15% if you started today).

here's a little info on the PIR rewards (and how it works):

I have the latest wallet. Now what do I do with the block chain download on mac please?
2210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ryan Pumper: Pumpers Picks (Updated Daily) on: July 27, 2015, 04:11:36 PM
What happened to Ryan?  Did he pump so hard he followed through and had to go wash his undies? I'm sure he us still around somewhere.

Does the windows wallet also stake? i do not see the stake icon in the wallet
but i see it's there for mac tho.
im in the process of updating the mac wallet. i just released an updated mac daemon (dogecoindarkd) for osx.

doged is not a PoS coin, but it can be turned into one pretty easily, however that is not in the plans.

OK cool no problem thanks for the info it's probably better for it not to be a POS anyway.
out of interest why not pos?
2212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: (ANN) Netcoin has gone POS! With PIR & OWI on: July 27, 2015, 02:39:07 PM
Also can anyone sell a large amount to me please? Like 10 Mill for 20 BTC would be good.
2213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: (ANN) Netcoin has gone POS! With PIR & OWI on: July 27, 2015, 02:34:48 PM

Why not just simply Bitcoin? Roll Eyes

because then it wouldn't be profitable to the scammers
Indeed it is already back to the same price!

I'm waiting for Mycellium, i'm already using my Trezor with their phone app. Design looks awesome too.

Hi off the topic sorry but what is your avatar Crazy-Pilot?
2218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MangoCoinz Official ANN Thread - Mine cryptocurrencies on you smart phone on: July 27, 2015, 11:07:31 AM
I have tried the app on Android 2.3, 4.4 and 5.0. The latter version is the only case where it's not stuck on the loading screen (i.e. it actually launches). The timer is however broken, making it not functioning. I have really tried, more than I'd like to admit, and I've generated 0.7 MCZ over 17 days.

I agree you shouldn't get rich or see it as payment, but if you want people to use the app you'll need to provide an incentive. Doing a referral campaign now, with a non functional app is clearly not a good idea.

Its a good point. New users faced wiith a non functioning APP will be no good at all.
