2201  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: September 06, 2015, 03:42:09 AM
No bitcoins yet, trying my luck on some dice game sites for some minimal profits, if this tends to be a good play, will make a daily routine Smiley
2202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: September 06, 2015, 03:39:54 AM
Is there any dice game site which gives you more chances on winning using martingale? Any more betting strategies better than martingale?

2205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people still play dice? on: September 06, 2015, 12:49:24 AM
Because it is an easy and fast game to play with. You will get the results instantly.
Because of its simplicity and the entertainment involved of winning some profits that it gets addictive overtime.
2206  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTCOracle : Bet on the future price of bitcoin ! on: September 06, 2015, 12:45:03 AM
Why is the "Current Bitstamp price $xxx USD/BTC" on the front page always off by like $30?

Been wondering that myself too Smiley  But it is a good gambling game and I might put some of my bets soon.
2207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: September 06, 2015, 12:39:27 AM
I do agree with the previous statement of just use gambling as a form of entertainment. Just gamble what you can afford to loose and if you win then you are lucky. An avoid getting addicted to gambling, a lot of lives got wasted due to this.

2211  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Why do people use faucets? on: September 03, 2015, 04:34:13 AM
Faucets serves as a starter  experience for the noobs and get acquainted with BTC. Others use them for farming and get few satoshis along the way. A free and easy way of getting BTC. I also started playing BTC with the introduction of faucets.

2213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin makes revolution on money transfer market ? on: September 03, 2015, 03:19:33 AM
In some countries, people are using bitcoin to send money overseas since it is secure, fast and low in cost in making transactions.
The main attraction of bitcoin on money transfer market is the very low cost in sending money.
2214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Barclays to start accepting bitcoin on: September 03, 2015, 02:58:49 AM
This is good news indeed, hopefully it will go to a full operation on accepting bitcoins on regular accounts as it was stated "To begin with, the roll-out will be slow: only charities will be able to pay bitcoins into Barclays bank accounts.". And may other banks will follow Barclays path as well.
2215  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I grow my btc? on: September 03, 2015, 02:50:34 AM
One way grow your  BTC is by trading buying low selling high and repeating the procedure. Next would be to buy different crypto coins and wait for their value to grow can also be good but need to find good coins that have value and a foreseeable future, as they are many different coins out their and most offer nothing new other than pump and dump.

You might try taking notes of two promising altcoins on the horizon, ethereum and siacoin. Buy and then hold for some time before selling.
2216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage - Working Beta - Currency has been released on: August 28, 2015, 11:42:53 AM
I can not get the wallet to sync, both CLI or GUI versions. I run the cmd prompt to get siad.exe to run and siac.exe, or I use the GUI instead of siac.exe. Am I doing something wrong? When I use the GUI version it just stays on block 1 with no connection, I've let it stay on for 3 hours with nothing going on. Any help is greatly appreciated in advance.

I bought some SC to play around with and thought I'd try out the wallet but I'm having the same problem. I'm using the GUI version. Hoping someone can help out.

Also, is there 0.4 windows compiled binary available as I can't find it on your main site.

We just released 0.4.0, about 5 minutes ago. Not all of the links are updated yet. Find it here:

https://github.com/NebulousLabs/Sia/releases/tag/v0.4.0-beta

0.4.0 is command line only

This is a very interesting coin, will going to watch this. Any ETA for the GUI wallet for 0.4.0 ?

2219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Moving into LTC until XT issue is resolved? As a safe haven? on: August 19, 2015, 02:21:13 AM
I have seen others are moving into ETH and other new altcoins aside from LTC. Is this a good move? Only time will tell.
2220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: this cracked me up. bitcoin xt logo on: August 18, 2015, 11:26:17 PM
nice logo image for XT, but the theme is so vintage already Smiley It would be good if it has some latest and up to date modern design like windows 10 .
