2221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can others compare to bitcoin's values? on: June 16, 2020, 05:04:01 PM
Blockchain in broader sense also comes with more benefit and I love one quality the most, "Immutable".
The immutability of the blockchain is the reason why most of us call it the future technology, simply because it helps the masses to discover information publicly. But this immutable data can also be a disadvantage when you accidentally chained a false information ( in general ) some might be confused or mislead. Sometimes modification is necessary, can we have that as a special power in blockchain?

Even if you Google it you will see big articles stating immutability of the blockchain. The literal meaning states that something after its creation can not be modified.
Maybe this is the reason why corrupt is against blockchain  Huh lol

2222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Spend Bitcoin? on: June 16, 2020, 04:09:12 PM
Bank accounts are no longer necessary. No discrimination.  Cool
No, even if you can legally spend bitcoin anywhere and anytime, you still need to have a bank account to refill balance your bitcoin balance in wallet.
Bank account is still necessary, we are going to have a hard situation if we don't have any money in the bank and if we only have a cash. I feel uncomfortable when I have too much cash in my pocket, I feel like I'm obligated to spend it, that is a yikes for me I know, but honestly having a bank account to save your money is important these days. You can't spend bitcoin anytime you want, you would not like spend in undervalue.

So far I have not found a way how someone can buy bitcoin on the exchange or a bitcoin atm without a bank account.
I know there are some banks that offers this kind of money transfers, I'm not sure if it is on coinbase or in any other exchange but I'm pretty sure I've read somewhere that there are some.
2223  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Bitcoin to Gcash/Paypal/Local Banks vice versa on: June 15, 2020, 07:25:33 PM

Seems a typo error at kung babasahin yung kahulugan nito it is really phishing not phisphing.
By context obvious naman na phishing ang ibig niyang sabihin haha, not a big deal tho.

And also include the advantage kung bakit mas maganda bumili sayo ng bitcoin rather than buying them online commercially.
2224  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: FOMO In Crypto; How to identify It on: June 15, 2020, 06:42:54 PM
Unreasonable growth in bitcoin is not really rare and it is not really nonsense neither because it is not a normal regular market.
The market is more complex than the way we thought of it. The market is moving piece by piece as we are all involve from doing it so.

We are talking about bitcoin which is an unregulated and decentralized currency, which means people who have a lot of money, people we call whales, people who are in wall street making billion dollar deals everyday, could do whatever they want with bitcoin and there is no way to stop them. That is why I believe if you see bitcoin charts that says bitcoin should be going up but the price suddenly goes down, that is not really shocking anymore since we already know that some rich person may have sold thousands of bitcoin at a point where the price should have gone up and cause it to go down as well. All of this happened before and will surely happen again.
What you said is very obvious. Bitcoin as we know it, it is very volatile due to the fact that it is decentralized and no governing entity that allows the entry nor the exit. Basically people could do whatever they want to it, dump it or pump it. There are just bigger players from the market who can easily impact the market in large fraction. They can easily start the FOMO, set traps along the way.
2225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why kucoin delisted Tenx (pay ) on: June 15, 2020, 06:07:16 PM
The unfortunate things happening with me after long crypto break . Now tenx pay is delisted from kucoin even its having good daily volume also having fair amount marketcap now it’s delisted from exchange . I am not finding any proper reason for delisting. Are there in problem with tenx pay.
Its impossible a good project is delisted without much VALID reason. Probably they have been decreased on trading volume thats why they got off. This is not only on Kucoin but other major exchanges also do do delisting once they have reach a low volume. I like tenx but we cant really judge Kucoin for doing it.
There are many things to consider when delisting in an exchange. First is the maintenance cost, if the team behind the coin doesn't much have that money to keep up or generating less than what they have expected then it will be hard for them to keep their coin in the exchange. Second is the legal enforcement, some countries are very strict when it comes to cryptocurrency and some are not. There are times that government wants to prohibit the use of it, and there are also times that they want just to refuse, so it's either of this. Lastly, the competence of the team. This is the most crucial part of keeping your project to an exchange, is the team really dedicated to work for it? is the team really trying to?

Its gonna be heart break for those who invested on tenx cause delisting is a major fud that investors can cause panic selling.
I don't know the coin, neither heard of it but yeah it's frustrating.
2226  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin worth so much ? on: June 15, 2020, 04:58:50 PM
Bitcoin is worth as much as people are willing tp pay for it, it's defined by the market. It's similar like you've asked why.gold is worth that much.
Since Bitcoin is decentralized so not under control of any centralized body that could define or influence the price, it's purely defined by users. So, as long there is demand for Bitcoin it will have certain value. The bigger demand and the smaller supply, the price will go higher.
If it's defined by the market then we can totally say that bitcoin is the people. This isn't surprising for bitcoin since it came first as cryptocurrency, of course people will trust the first born crypto. If you see the first one that's still exists now there could be special about it right? Aside, the bitcoin had already built a reputation after hitting the ATH in the crypto scene, that's the most epic reason why people are buying bitcoin.
Basically people chooses bitcoin because bitcoin is the top currency.
2227  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prediction 2020 on: June 15, 2020, 04:22:00 PM
Most financial markets are crashing and the entire crypto market does not look good.
Well to be honest, after all of these market crashes, only the cryptocurrency market looks good for now. You see, bitcoin is thriving in $9K range to sit and set the resistance after $10K, alternative coins are growing and becoming more active these days. If you would compare it to the stock market? it is way more ahead for now.

Don't think bitcoin is going to reach such a high price at least this year. Let's look at a price prediction of $10K-15K and as that seems feasible
I agree, $10k - $15K seems more realistic for this year since we have been resisting it for too long in the $9K but I will not be surprised if I woke up in the morning with bitcoin's price in the moon.
2228  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have agricultural land would you sell it or hold it ? on: June 14, 2020, 02:28:37 PM
It is really tempting to sell any of our properties because of this pandemic, I even sold my old air jordan for $140 just to keep my bitcoin stacked in my wallet since I've been having hard time getting money from my job, and the relief provided by our government was not that sustainable enough for a long period of quarantine. But for a agricultural land or real estate property to be sold these days? You'll just regret in the future since that kind of asset is appreciating unlike any other, I myself consider it as a safe asset. However if you got nothing on you now, and that's the only thing you hold on don't bother to sell.
2229  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin worth so much ? on: June 14, 2020, 12:54:06 PM
Ethereum has virtually unlimited supply while BTC is capped to 21 million coins.
...Moreover, you get value because investors keep buying it.

But if you have 1000 usd and you want to transfer it to another person i don't get it how bitcoin can help me ...

Example i want to send money to a person B in another country

I Person A have 1000 usd
To exchange it it cost me around 5% - 8%
Now i have   920 usd in btc form ...do to fact bitcoin is so volatile i could lose another 50 usd in 10 minutes or gain 50 usd ...just speculation
I send it to person B  a small transaction fee is taken
Now person B has to exchange it to Fiat he got to pay trader / exchange platform another 5%-8%
After exchange person B has left around 846.4 usd

That's a 15.36 % loss just from exchange cost
More expensive the WU,direct bank transfer, paypal etc ...
So why do you need to transfer in cryptocurrency if you have these ( WU, dbt, paypal) to transfer with? Just to clarify, you don't necessarily use cryptocurrency to transfer funds if you have more platform/app services to do it with so much convenience. Indeed that if takes more to transfer via crypto since there is conversion rate fee and transaction fee that's why you need to consider this process before transferring funds.
People are just using crypto for others not to track their transaction, the privacy  Wink
2230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Many Bitcoin Forks Are There? You will be surprised!!! on: June 14, 2020, 12:00:47 PM
How many so far are still active in the market? I think only few of them have real active trading going on. Most of them are just manipulated by the corresponding devs of the project to keep them alive in the exchanges.
As for a basic google search, there are 74 active projects bitcoin forks project and 31 are historic that is no longer existing up to date, so there are 105 bitcoin forks. To be honest I only know bitcoinn cash, bitcoin Satoshi Vision and bitcoin diamond these forks are the only pricy forks of bitcoin that I know. And I also believe that MOST of other forks are heavily manipulated just to exist and attract investors. Can't blame bitcoin for being the king, there are more of forks coming.
2231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you know job/investment related to crypto that provide stable daily income? on: June 14, 2020, 10:48:39 AM
Find a job worth $100 in a day is quite hard unless you got any services to offer from any one that is worth of that money, but a stable daily income of $100? that's nearly impossible to make unless you are going to trade very risky. I trade bitcoin futures with x125, but when I do I'm always ready to lose, the highest I earned from it is $32 in just 5 to 10 mins after hitting the right time. This is not what you are looking for no?

I don't even know any of job that is paying $100 for a day, not even a physical day job.

At the moment, I am looking for a stable business or a stable job related to blockchain or cryptocurrency where I can earn $100/day. I know there are a lot of guys in this forum that have bright ideas and I'm hoping I can get one that I can try.
If I am not mistaken, are you a Filipino? Earning an equivalent of $100/day is a pretty big amount of money to earn in 3rd World Countries. If you have any skills in programming then why not try to become a freelancer as of the moment? There are lots of websites that offers freelancing jobs from various fields.

[1] Fiverr
I know this one, I've watched this fiverr after they sponsored one of Mr.Beast's youtube video. Upon searching to it, I found out that you can earn a lot from it using your service as a freelance.
You name your price in fiverr, I suggests you OP to visit this one.
2232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another SpaceX scam has reappeared, why is that? on: June 14, 2020, 04:37:08 AM
Common guys it's 2020, who would have fall for that kind of giveaway scam? If that's true that it could have been on the news or huge platform. Besides, it is odd for spaceX or Elom Musk himself to giveaway bitcoin, Elon did even mentioned that he was not into bitcoin or something ( though we all know that he had been into it for years lol ) We cannot blame people for taking the opportunity that the giveaway gave them, they are just blinded by the $$$, now if they get scammed they need to face the losses and consequences.
Pindutin mo lang yung add another timer.

https://www.timeanddate.com/timer/

Good luck mga kabayan at ingat palagi.

Naglalaan ako ng oras for posting like 3 to 5 hours, tapos ma eextend ng maeextend kasi di ko nasusunod yung sarili kong interval. Minsan ginagawa ko na lang mag kasunod yung reply pero subject to post yung 2nd reply ko after 30 to 40 mins after ko ma post yung 1st reply.

So if you guys are having difficulties on time intervals, I suggests to do it as mine kasi it really helps.

10 minutes interval for me is medyo maikli, though pwede naman sya. Pero kapag medyo broad yung topic I suggests to read a lot para masisigurong relevant ang post sa topic.
2234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Reasons Why I Prefer a Bitcoin Mobile Wallet on: June 12, 2020, 12:29:51 PM
Hardware or Mobile wallets?  I'd say it doesn't really matter so far it does get the job (safekeeping our cryptocurrencies) done. Obviously both wallets have their pros and cons. Hardware wallet for example comes packed with much security features. Mobile wallets on the other hand provides ease of access to the wallet and that's a big plus since Mobile is the new trend.
Well I don't see any cons of using hardware wallet, not even the accessibility unlike with the mobile wallets since hardware wallets are made to be fully secured. I'm not saying that mobile wallets are not secured, but they are less secured compare to hardware ones. Besides there were cases where mobile wallets are being hacked, funds stealing and the worst I've seen is that the whole software was injected with a virus leaking the user database. Just a suggestion when using mobile wallets, just stick with the old and reputable ones.

I'm currently using a mobile wallet and it does get the job done. What most people don't realize is that is both wallets are vulnerable to attacks to a certain extent and users play a vital role in keeping their wallets secured at all times.
Me too, so far I don't encounter any issues with it aside from sudden maintenance for upgrades and promotional ads. My mobile wallet from the beginning of my journey in crypto is still my wallet until now. I guess it's an achievement right? haha  Grin

2237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Moving large sum of bitcoin on: June 11, 2020, 07:47:52 PM
These transactions are usually only relevant when going to an exchange, since this can be an indicator of a potential mass liquidation on the way.
I always consider the Bitcoin market to be highly manipulated. If traders start assuming a large transaction is going to lead to a drop in price, it can be used for manipulation too. All that "the whale" has to do, is transfer a large amount, and the price drops, even without selling anything!
The market is heavily manipulated by big players, of course they have the biggest gun to point to the market that would impact a lot on which case they might caught the small players in a net thinking the movement was unknown. But in my opinion this huge amount belongs to a institutional investments or exchange, there is a less chance that it is from just a single person coz if it does then he's a hell of a rich person.

I don't like manipulation, so I'm not buying nor selling based on this.
Yeah me too, mass speculation does not matter to me at all, I'll just let my bitcoins sit until 2040  Cheesy
2238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CoCa Cola now Accept bitcoin on Australia and New Zealand. on: June 11, 2020, 02:41:23 PM
I think it's a good idea to let people buy things with bitcoins. I really find myself contend about keeping in budget while travelling aboard.
It would be beneficial if you got good gains on bitcoin isn't it? it is convenient when you bought bitcoin somewhere in $3K then you spend it in around $5K, that's almost double so I think that would be the best case scenario in spending bitcoin. So, ideally bitcoin is spendable, correct, however there are some reservations with consequences imo.

Not just because I don't have the money but due to hassle of currency exchange and getting an ATM that supports your card. With flights and hotels booked online, if we could implement bitcoin payment on other services, we would not need to carry cash.
We already have credit cards for these transactions online and wired, apart from these we already have digital payment processors we have bunch of them to choose from. Bitcoin was really for investment today.

2240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges not accepting mixed BTC, so is BTC no longer fungible? on: June 09, 2020, 08:42:05 PM
I don't think exchanges are doing it willingly! Most probably it's the government who is playing from background and forcing the exchanges to have such things implemented to reduce money laundering. It's no secret that mixing services are being used as a great tool for money laundering.
I do think so, coz there is no way a business would turn their back to their possible profit, an example, let's say that the money from a person is from money laundering, government cannot blame them for depositing it through their platform right? So obviously this is a form of rule manipulation from one's government not the exchanges themselves. And for them, it is a continue operating or get reprimanded situation which they are left with no choice. The logic is simple behind this, there's no way that these exchange would implement such fool rule like this.

So I think the exchanges are just trying to stay clean. Because all exchanges are centralized business entities unlike bitcoin itself and it is important for them to save their business from government's wrath.
Exactly my point. There is no point for not taking a washed bitcoin, aside it is one of the advantage of bitcoin when it comes to traceability, it is hard to tracked once mixed.
