There are several ways to promote ICO, Bounty Campaign is the most popular for now I think. Since most of popular advertising platform such as Google, Facebook, and Twitter going to ban ICO ads, you don't have many options to promote ICO. Signature Campaign is the most effective I think, but of course it will cost you a lot of money. Or you can bet on Social Media bounty, which is less effective, but has wider range of impression.

First of all you need to have at least $10.000 USD in your portfolio. So in this scenario you only need to have 10% profit each month, which is not really difficult to do. But still you need to invest not only your money but also your time and effort, to learn about trading, and for trading itself. Keep watching the market for 24/7. And trust me 1k in a month is a piece of cake.

Which is the best exchange for Altcoins to Fiat Currency ?
This is quite convenient, Gdax, Bittrex and Coinbase all fall into this category All you have to do is create an account with them; activate 2fa and get going I don't know about Gdax, but Bittrex require KYC and to be honest its a little bit difficult for our documents to be accepted. Moreover there are no actual "Fiat" in Bittrex, they only have USDT which is not real fiat, though it backed up by USD. I think the best place to exchange is Quoine, you can check it in coinmarket cap for their pair here https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/quoine/ they provide real "Fiat (USD) to Alt" exchange. Then you can transfer it directly to your bank account via wired transfer.

the best exchange on my opinion would be Bittrex, but it needs ID verification, and they are not always open for registration. Second option will be Binance, it has the largest market cap volume so far. Don't need to do any KYC verification, fast and stable, I never experience any pending deposit or withdrawal. But there are API abuse on Binance recently, may gives doubt to some people. Well every exchange has plus and minus, but these two are the most reliable exchange.
Well seems like you exclude Binance from your list because of personal reasons, so you might Consider Cryptopia, based on New Zealand. Though I got a deposit issue and haven't resolved yet. Or HitBTC but I found many Deposit/Withdrawal issues reported. To be honest, there will always be Deposit/Withdrawal issues on every exchange, the thing is how they handle it.

That is ridiculous, that's not how you star a decentralized project. That is not how it works. With only 200 people hooding the coin. The price will be easily manipulated, pumed and dumped. When people realize this then the coin will be worthless, the private investor is the one who should reject this decision.

He 100% absolutely deserve it. The founding of Ethereum platform has brought blockchain into massive adoption to the whole world. Ethereum is the first platform that actually introduce blockchain and cryptocurrency to the "Big and Famous" company.

Whether you are investing or gambling does not have any correlation to whether you are doing long term or short term trading. It depends on your method and technique when you are trading, not just in crypto but in all market. About crypto market, yes it has extreme volatility, most of the investor may only speculate, but you can still do low risk trading if you doing it right. And of course crypto market still have bright future.

Trust me if you do that, you will keep lossing. You will do panic selling when you see a correction that you might consider a "huge loss". My advice if you want to do crypto trading, do daily trading, because the whole crypto market is still very volatile. But besides you need you need to invest your money, you also have to invest your time on that. Otherwise just be a hodler. And believe on your investment.

Asking this kind of question, you will get 2 types of people responding to your question. First one is people who is promoting their campaign or their own portfolio. Their reason is quite simple, if you and maybe your friend buying the coin, they will gain profit.
The second one is people who will suggest Bitcoin and Ethereum. Because these coins are the highest market cap coins (at least until now). And there is no need other reason to buy those two.

If you want to hold for at least 1-2 years. The top coin is absolutely better. First of all never forget Bitcoin and Ether. Both will be your last saviour if thing's gone wrong. Other than that, you might consider buying these coins, for lower risk investment, - NEO - LTC - XMR - EOS
But of course don't expect too much from those coins, 2x or 3x might be your best gain, Then these one is for higher risk investment - ADA - IOST - ONT - IOTA
These are undervalued coin, higher risk higher profit. Might be 5x or 10x in the end of 2018. After all you need to do your own research though

To be honest almost all crypto Altcoin, security token, even Bitcoin is so volatile. Moreover the effect of project news to the price of token is the nature of cryptocurrency, even maybe in other investment. But if you think that the pump and dump is somehow, unusual, it could mean that someone is manipulating the price. Maybe the dev themselves or a whale, also means the distribution is not prevail.

Depends on the amount of your current Ether. For me myself I will still keep Ether in my portfolio, but I do not keep many of them. Maybe only 15-20% of my whole portfolio, if you hold more than 30% Ether in your Porfolio, my Advice is to buy something else, an undervalued coin in Binance or Bittrex. IOST could be your first choice, listed kn Binance, market cap is keep on increasing.

I really do not understand why people are still believe in Tron. This coin is absolutely pump and dump coin. Seems like the gossip about Tron CEO manipulating the market and holding huge amount of Tron is true. I really can not wait to say 'see, I have told you' to the Tron supporter.

Obviously I am a crypto currency newbie and I am looking for the right blockchain tech for a project. Now I have done some reading and what I am looking for is something like Ethereum.
1) Smart contracts 2) Low transaction fees 3) suited for micro transactions
What would be helpful if I can use Java as the programming language. Ethereum ticks point 1 but its transaction fees are too high. I am looking for really low fees as volume will be higher.
You are too obvious to be new comer in crypto buddy. There are already a lot of alternative for smart contract. The top of these list will be NEO, a crypto supported by Chinese government, the Asian version of Ethereum. Or you can use Waves, when we talk about features and network performance, I think waves is the best, they just need more marketing and adoption. The last but not least the cheapest smart contract ever XLM, the good thing about XLM (Stellar) is cheap, nothing else. But, take my advice, you can find many smart contract platform as Ethereum alternative, but nothing compared to Ethereum. It is the first and the best.

Haha, from my point of view, and in my humble opinion Tron is just a pump and dump coin. Seems like the gossip that the owner own large amount of the TRX and he manipulate the price is kinda true. I sell all my tron last February, and I don't think I am gonna buy it again, like ever.

There are some case when ICO distribute the unsold token to their team and mostly to the company board, it is to support the liquidity (I think). But most of the time the unsold token/coin is burned. Why it is burned? It is simple supply and demand rule, when the total supply is less, the company hopes to increase the demand
