England reached the final knowing they were gonna play in Wembley. They had a great start, finding a goal in two minutes and what do they do? They start defending with the whole 11 players!
They did not want to play real football, at the home of football. So they did not able to bring the cup back to home. That was so stupid. Italy suffered 15 minuntes but then found the right way to attack ending with a crazy > 70% ball possession!
Italy deserved the Cup, no doubts but this England lost a once in a lifetime opportunity considering they played Euro2020 basically at home.
Italy looked to be surprised by the tactics from Southgate but after 15 minutes, they found out ways to play against England. England were too coward to play and only want to protect their 1 leading goal. They sacrifced their ball possession and did not use their best players in midfield and attacking areas to beat Italy. Dominated ball possession, more total shots, more shots on target. Some very great chances to score more goals. How can I say that Italy don't deserve the Championship? |

I read about Ronaldo's agent want to continue to work with Juventus. But, if they are failed, so we can see another star players leave his club with free agent. This is certainly a loss for Juventus, they should be able to sell Ronaldo at a fairly high price, but due to the condition of almost all clubs experiencing financial problems after Covid-19, it seems that selling Ronaldo and extending Ronaldo's contract will be difficult.
I don't think other star players in Juventus will leave the club just because they want to follow what Ronaldo does. Not all players in Juventus feel happy with the appearance of Ronaldo in the club. Some of them have to sacrifice their positions to serve the demand from Ronaldo. I don't think that PSG would be able to afford that much salary in one season.
They can, if they sell Mbappe. However, it is not smart to sacrifice Mbappe who is younger and also very talented and goal productive as well as very constructive to the team tactics, just to get Ronaldo. They already had great players and now they got so much more this off season as well, add Ronaldo on top of that or add Messi on top of that and you got youself a big big salary problem. They either have to win everything this year, the french cup, the ligue 1, the champions league, the super cup, the world champions cup or whatever it is named, literally every possible cup in one season in order to justify this much payment, which I doubt they may, they may end up not doing it, so that means if they fail they will be left with a ton of money, players who are not as hungry as before, and no hype anymore and with a biiiiig financial doom which will result with them either selling or not renewing contracts of some players. I am not sure if it really worths taking the risk.
If Ronaldo comes to PSG, they will have three big names: Neymar, Mbappe and Ronaldo. Will they be able to play together without conflict of interest? Furthermore, there will be Sergio Ramos in PSG. The team will become very hard to manage for their coach. |

England has a very good early goal and they can use it to beat Italy by creating pressure and score a second goal. They chose to do differently, turn to be very seriously defensive. I feel they did not want to attack after having one goal. Maybe they worried that if they attack or counter attack, Italy can score and equalize the result. England, in the other words, don't deserve to be called as champions because they sacrifice their home stadium advantage very easily. Italy have the DNA of Champions and they equalized the match. After the equalizer, Italy even had some opportunities to beat England in 90 minutes then 120 minutes. England can try again in the World Cup next year and next Euro. Ronaldo is a player that is super execpectional,ever since I started watching football,I have not seen anyone that is as good as Ronaldo.

Couldn't watch the live match, because I am living in India. But just woke up and saw the scores and I was really surprised. I didn't gave much of a chance to Italy, because I thought that England had a huge home advantage in Wembley. Anyway, I am happy with the results. The English fans were disgusting in their behavior during the matches against Germany and Denmark. And I am glad that Italy put them to their place by winning against them at their home ground. My only regret is that I could just watch the highlights instead of the live match.
If you look at the UEFA statistics, England have a bad match and Wembley does not help them anything. They have good players but they don't want to play real football. 5 shots in a match at their home stadium and only one shot is on target. Ball possession belongs to Italy and Italy also have good opportunity to score goal in the second extra-half. In penalties, England have two chances but they waste all. However it is a shame of course to have England national team playing at the Wembley on a finals game, that just doesn't sound fair, I know it was probably designed that way a billion years ago so even if England lost this finals would be there but it is still dangerously unfair to Italy to send them there, how about playing in Rome? England play the Euro in their nation. I don't know how it goes like this but of course, it was scheduled since the start of Euro, not before the final match. i think they should have been tested right now to see if there is a positive result in their team, and if that happened they would have announced it by now, i hope it doesn't affect them in any way and they perform in the final the same way they did throughout the whole tournament and win the title, even in England and i still believe Italy can make it, they're the favorites to win for me.
Only if they can have their best players especially in the defense system. If they lose either Bonucci or Chiellini or both, they will lose their power and become weaker. England have enough attacking players to score goals and I know Italy can score goals as well but the final match will be hold in England, at the Wembley stadium. It wasn't quite at the beginning of the month, but I'm going to attempt to give them all away by the start of August. We'll see how that turns out--and I was considering increasing my average number of merits given per post. Before the match they won against Belgium, their unbeaten run was undervalued because people said that Italy did not play with big opponents. The match with Belgium changed all because Italy did dominate that match. Again, the match against Spain shows Italy are very experienced and smart with their tactics. Their unbeaten run has extended to 33 matches so far [27 wins and 6 draws].
Personally, I'd prefer England to win it but despite playing in Wembley, I have a strong feeling that Italy would come out as winners [collectively, they play smarter].

I hope none of the coaching staff or first team players get tested positive as that could result to potential postponement or cancellation, If it is warranted. But if they'll have to player whatever squad they can put together, I'm not sure that would be worth it, since this stage is what they've worked for all tournament long.
It would be a terrible for their preparation. The final match is coming and I hope both teams will have their best players for the match. It is a big match and I don't want either Italy or England miss some of important players just because of the damn virus.
