How does one mine from the wallet? pardon my ignorance.
While no pools are available you can use the in wallet miner. We have been talking to pools and they had sone difficulties with the algo. We will present a solution for this in a few days. I just downloaded the wallet and its version v0.8.7.2-unk-beta Is that the latest and I don't see a built in miner in the wallet. Settings -> debug -> console and write "setgenerate true" if i remember correctly Edit: or make a conf file named on %appdata%/wrapper named wrapper.conf and add like "gen=1" to it and save. You'll see the mining speed by writing "getmininginfo" into the console

To be honest what the hell is he even saying lol. Must me some kind of translator.
Lol, yeah. Cannot wait ur pool to be online

Alright, pool is running again https://gflare.io/coin/wrapper We had a problem with a corrupt blockchain, I fixed it a few minutes ago.
First 500 blocks is scrypt After that, I will update wrapper to Lyra2 for the pool.
I thought it was neoscrypt but never mind

Please explain if i got to create a bat file or the procedure. Regards. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=770064.0That atleast but, i do not know much about that program. Atleast some pools will start to work after block 500 (i hope)

So, right now which is the algo that you guys are using for mining? (I'm trying to run a cpuminer to solo mine but not sure what algo to use).
Thanks in advance.
Local wallet is scrypt-n for first 500 blocks then it moves to Lyra2 based on what the Dev stated. We have also been trying to get it all right for the pool. Well, your pool still says lyra2 as a algo so you might want to change it? Nope it will stay at Lyra2 so when block 500 hits it will be live. I do not see a reason why because it will take many hours :/

I am going to order a blockexplorer for the new chain from https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=571254.0) since it the one of the most stable and cheaper: Hi,
I ask for a contribution to hosting costs of $100 in BTC per year, or $55 for 6 months. This includes all current and future features. Let me know if you are interested!
$55 will be deducted from the not swapped coins (if any remain). If you do not mind, I will proceed with the request. That sounds very nice, i think that there will be alot of coins that are not going to be swapped.

So uhm, can i mine the old coins now and withdraw them to old wallet? and then on the day that i can swap my coins for new coins, i will download new wallet?
Yes, that is right. Will cryptopia handle the swapping/burning process? Edit: and also when i write "invite 7 42" to the bot, it says "Groupbot: Group doesn't exist."

Anyone has nodes for the wallet? Mine cannot find any :/

Do you have any giveaway? Was looking excited at the pre-ann, before i saw that there will be no mining phase :/ Kind of disappointed right now.

Bitcedi isn't dead! Just working on some few stuff on Bitcedi! We also have Two Nigerian Businesses who will like to accept Bitcedi on thier commerse websites. Trying to get some mobile money vendor shops to buy and sell Bitcedi.
Also discussing with some Ghanian politicians in power into possible implementation of Bitcedi as Blockchain for sales of prepaid units.
Already recieved calls for more information about Bitcedi from a couple of ghanaian locals.
We are actually working on the ground to get bitcedi going. One of the Use cases, to get Bitcedi circulating with real purchases and services to raise value for Bitced.
For now nigeriafoodstuff.com will be the first to start accepting Bitcedi, considering the wide array of customers they have.
I beleive after getting the work running with locals in Ghana, the rest will be easy to convince since we are going to have a strong use case to argue.
Updates will be posted with info to let the community know about the progress.
A very big sorry, for staying away for so long.
I would love a proof, and so would other community i bet. I did ask you a legit question while ago and you completely ignored it.

Maybe someone should fork the repo so the source doesn't just disappear...
I forked the coin and wallet repos. I couldn't easily fork the pool repo because I already have one with the same name. I don't know if there were actually any useful changes there or just his config files. https://github.com/iamsmooth/bitcediwallethttps://github.com/iamsmooth/bitcediI have no intention of doing any development on this coin at the present time. I just forked it so it doesn't disappear. Thank you for doing this smooth How long are you planning to keep this on your github?

8.6B coins total, so will we see same price shake out as XDN? Around 15 sat? Higher because slower emission? Lower because no unique features?
I doubt, since there is going to be a practical use for this. the value, depends on the use and the demand for the currency and that's exactly where we are looking to strengthen. And what is going to be that practical use, to be exact?
