Sounds interesting
2222  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [DISCUSSION] To Load or Not To Load on: April 16, 2017, 03:24:40 AM
I think funding an unfunded coin will probably not increase the value, and may even reduce the premium you will get. Simply because the more BTC that's loaded on it the less people who can afford it. You're also trusting keys someone else generated.

Funded coins, especially 1BTC+, are too risky for my tastes. There is so many opportunities for someone to intentionally or unintentionally mess up when generating keys. A new maker would have to prove themselves over a long period that they have a secure system, in my opinion Casascius is the only maker who has meet this requirement. I'm sure others will over time.

Agreed!

Loading a unfunded will effect its value!

Funding a Kialara isn't recommended because if you ever need to withdraw, destroying that beauty wont be good

When the Core/Unlimited debate was at it's paroxysm, I figured out that if the BTC blockchain is forked, we should load as much collectibles as we can before the fork since the collectibles will contain the coins on several blockchains.
Would they be more valuable ? Maybe Smiley

yep thats true but will you then crack open the coin to get the privkeys and take out the two types of coins?
I dont see why its good! If you don't peel the holo and just think you have two coins and whenever you want , you can do it!
There's always a chance for one of them(BTU) to dissipate after people realize it sucks, so you will miss on the opportunity.
OR Maybe they stay split like ETH and ETC but no one knows.

Instead keep them on a written paper and redeem the keys when/if fork happens to find your two coins

this is going to be too much fun and messy

This is sorry to see. no offense here - everyone has there own opinion and you going with BTU was yours.

But am not sure you been in bitcoin long enough , even i haven't been in it long enough.

we follow bitcoin for a reason and what they are trying to do is change the whole thing.

Now you go saying keyois supports BTU with what company you just may have started.

I love your work man but i do not like to support btu and buying your stuff is like endorsing it!

Thanks for the details hybridsole

2226  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Coming Soon] Second Edition Keyois Capsules, & limited edition sterling silver on: April 14, 2017, 06:50:13 PM
Initially I wanted to buy the first product, and there were even some lucrative offers to do so. The idea is rather unique and gathers attention due to the scarcity of non-coin collectibles in the premium range. The second offering of Keyois is a product of seemingly great potential. However, there is a major downside to this company.

As far as I've been recently informed, Keyois is in support of the contentious attack on the Bitcoin network also known as Bitcoin Unlimited (also known by the BTU abbreviation in the case of a fork). It is both disappointing and shameful to see someone to support this attempted hostile centralization of the Bitcoin network. I am thereby never going to touch another product from Keyois.  Furthermore, I am going to highly advise all of my closer colleagues to stay away from this company and its products. Anyone who came here for the right reasons (one of which are permissionlessness and decentralization) will not support any company working against it.

Have a nice day.

I'm going to second this. To me it's pretty shameful to be in the position you are in and to then make those decisions. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, just got a bit sad when I heard the news as I like the product.

-Hhampuz

I didn't had an idea that keyois is supporting BTU

I'll pass on these, i dont think anyone here would like to buy products of someone supporting BTU

2228  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Coming Soon] Second Edition Keyois Capsules, & limited edition sterling silver on: April 14, 2017, 04:16:33 AM
Awesome!

So the second version have three right?
Tungsten
Silver
Bronze

Any discount for returning customer and if we buy all 3 ?

PM details pls

EDIT : i wil take #3 and #4

Hey there,

The second edition will have rings made of tungsten instead of titanium, but the end pieces will still be aliuminium unless you want to special order the silver or bonze cast pieces. The cast pieces cost more and due to the nature of casting I doubt they would hold pressure the same as the machined al ones so I can't be sure they will be water-tight yet. I think I can also get red or white bronze, but I'm not sure if I want to. Powder coating the Al pieces has worked before but that's not as much fun.

I will still have the silver, gold, ruby, sapphire, tourmaile, and quartz centerpeices for sale that can go with any endpiece set.

Let me know if you have any questions.
I can reserve you #'s 3 & 4, it'll be a few weeks but I'll PM you

Hi,

I'm not interested in one that are not as good as they should be or are not water proof

I will stay with the best quality product you make and if you have it in silver as well or any other i will take it! (not gold though)
I will wait for your PM , #3 and #4 it is Smiley
Thanks

2237  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [GOODBYE AUCTION] FINAL FINAL AUCTION - 25% TO CHARITY on: April 11, 2017, 12:42:38 PM
I'd love to bid but in all honesty.. I bought some "Rolls" back in august/September last year and that was an auction for your last 5 rolls or something. And ever since you've held "last coins" "last rolls" "cleaning out the last" auctions several times. It really annoyed me that you would advertise like that time and time again.

That being said good luck with this final auction. Let's see if that holds true Cheesy. Sad to see you closing down but sometimes you have no choice. Good luck in any future endeavors.

True

and the assembled and prototypes were also supposed to be limited but i see them every now and then being sold

2238  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTT] The Bitcoin Penny Company Doodle / Sketch Collection on: April 11, 2017, 11:20:52 AM
That is a very nice doodle. How long did that take you? Shocked

Thank you for the kind words, Mitchell. How long it took is a complex answer. The actual doodling didn't take too long. I did have to Google a picture of the Death Star and various fighters, though. (Did you know there were two Death Stars? Yep, surprising what odd info a Google turns up.) But that doodle was a long time in the making. I kept forgetting to start it. LOL It's actually going to TMAN. He won a raffle earlier this year where we donated a professionally framed doodle as one of the prizes. When the doodle was finished being framed, I PMed him to say that it would be shipped soon. He mentioned something about being very excited to see it, because our doodles are "epic." Personally, I felt rather bad, because he may have been expecting a special epic-level raffle doodle, when it was just a normal simple doodle (the kind of minimalist doodle that I prefer) that happened to be professionally framed. I feared he may have raised his hopes too much, so I promised him an "epic" consolation doodle. (Being a true gentleman, he declined my offer of an additional doodle, and he assured me that my raffle doodle would be more than good enough. However, I insisted on making that epic consolation doodle anyway.) So here it is, the "epic" doodle that I promised to TMAN a long, long time ago. Wink

Regards,
Chris
Really good story Cheesy

Congrats TMAN

am not a fan but that deathstar looks amazing Cheesy

BTCC said sales are not halted but some users are experiencing issues to add to the cart.

It is intermittent, so Tendai and team will hopefully be looking into it.

That's a strange issue to have.. Everyone I've talked with have had the same issue.

If this is only a Software error BTCC should have notice the drop in sales, don't they?

Who really knows. I also feel that they should have let people know about any issues, especially if it's a basically a halt in sales. The thing is that with all of the pboc stuff and the endless redeeming of Btcc coins this could honestly be them doing it all. Perhaps they have met some difficulties with government etc and don't want to drop face. As we all know they have not been the most communicative company towards us from the west.

Not saying there's a reason to doubt them but I'm starting to see some red flags.

I'm not very sure on that
i tried going to the site and clicked add to cart , ofcourse nothing happened  - so i refreshed the page and before it could load , i clicked add to cart.
It worked fine with that

So maybe give it a try like that?
