Does anyone have the link for Plat+ post monthly? Haven't had the email again..

Cheers

Is the Bonus code the same for everyone? I saw this code being posted on the chat ==> https://stake.bet/?bonus=OctoberPostMonthly3110ahB22 .... I do not know if it will work, but you can try it.

If you want to resolve the problem with you not getting the email for the Monthly, please contact "Support" and ask them to re-enable your email notifications... it does not take long for them to fix it.  Wink
2222  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake sports provider scam- Support offers back a “goodwill gesture” on: November 02, 2022, 05:28:32 AM
SOLVED

Stake voided the whole bet completely and refunded me.

Well, I am glad you resolved this with them.... and that you got refunded. It is a pity that you had to resort to Social media, because your relationship with them are now even more muddy than what it was before. (You did mention in a previous post that "they" has always had it out for you)

I think you can "close" this thread now, seeing that it was resolved. I hope to see you betting on the Sports bet again soon, because I need to "Copy & Paste" a few good bets... because most of my bets ends in a "Loss"  Tongue
2223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why doesn't Bitcoin consider a low interest rate mechanism to fight deflation? on: November 02, 2022, 05:21:24 AM
There will only be 21 000 000 coins mined and who will be issuing this interest and from what coins? Yes, the protocol can be changed to add features like this, but will we get consensus from all the full nodes to implement this?

The coin cap will have to be increased to allow for "extra" coins to be mined to pay for this... and the moment when changes to the coin cap are made, people will lose trust in the experiment and their coins will be devalued. (You can use sites like Freebitco.in to earn 4%+ interest on your deposited coins, so a change in the Bitcoin protocol is not needed to do this)  Wink
2224  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Switch: Turn things on with Bitcoin on: November 01, 2022, 06:31:42 AM
This can actually open up a whole new industry, if you can implement this successfully. The "Pay per use" concept can work well, in a student village for example, where people can charge students to use their appliances. (Microwave)

You can also implement this in a Guesthouse to charge people to use the Jacuzzi or the vibrating bed for instance... so it is a very cool idea.  Wink  The question remains..... Is the LN matured enough to get enough business to pay for this.  Roll Eyes
2225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it really possible to quit on these reasons on: November 01, 2022, 06:20:58 AM
If you have to wait for your partner to tell you to quit gambling, you might be doing something wrong. Gambling should be entertainment... and not something that pushes a wedge between you and your partner. You should try and limit your gambling time, if it creates issues in your relationship with your partner. (I am saying partner.. because it can be the wife or the husband in the relationship)

I will quit when it stops being fun... or if I win something significant and I am showing no control to stop when I want. Until now.. I can control it...and it is still fun.  Grin
2226  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake sports provider scam- Support offers back a “goodwill gesture” on: November 01, 2022, 06:12:44 AM
You are a Diamond III player, so they should have been a bit more accommodating to you, because you have shown that you invested a lot of money and time into their casino.  Roll Eyes  Unfortunately, we do not know why Stake support handled it this way, because a $400 loss.. would have been nothing to a casino of their size... and also to lose a high roller like you.  Tongue

I would have liked to hear the Stake Support side of this, just to be fair that both parties had their say... but I guess this will not happen. I hope you get this sorted out.... and that you stay with Stake, because they are much better than a lot of other casinos out there. (Believe me.... some support on other casinos are horrible)  Roll Eyes
2227  Economy / Economics / Re: Can One Get Rich or At least Not go Broke During a Recession? on: November 01, 2022, 05:58:24 AM
You have to search for the one thing that people cannot go without and you invest in that, because whatever happens to the global economy, people will have to buy that...and if you are the supplier of that.. you will become very rich.

I would buy a farm or even a small piece of land and I will cultivate my own produce to sell on the markets. You will be amazed to see how much tomatoes can be grown in a small greenhouse. (Open field cultivation can produce 100-120 ton/ha. Table tomato cultivation in greenhouses can yield up to 500 ton/ha.)  Wink
2228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why btc cannot move pow to pos on: November 01, 2022, 05:48:05 AM
I think it is easier to "centralize" Bitcoin mining, when someone can simply buy a shitload of tokens and have a huge say in the direction that the project is going..... in PoS, that is the case. A Fiat whale can simply buy a lot of tokens and then have a huge say in a lot of decisions that usually were made through consensus from Full nodes in Bitcoin mining.

In PoW.... this is not as easy, because you have to invest a lot of time and money into ASICs and you have to hire people to run those mining farms and you have to spend on the expenses of such a mining farm. (Electricity & labour & hardware etc...)  Wink
2229  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk Becomes Owner Of Twitter, Immediately Fires CEO And CFO on: October 31, 2022, 11:35:47 AM
The trust relationship between them and Elon Musk was broken, before he bought the platform. (They even went to court to fight against him) So why should he keep them in the same positions, if they are working against him.  Huh Huh Huh

I would have done the same thing, but I would have sat down with them and explained my actions and then I would have fired them. Twitter management made controversial decisions, that went against freedom of speech..and that is the main reason why Elon Musk fired them... they do not have his vision for what he wants to do with the platform.  Wink
2230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to crypto exchanges in the future? on: October 31, 2022, 07:59:49 AM
The Exchanges are not only for Crypto to Fiat conversions.... people also use it as a trading platform to trade in and out of Alt coins, so they will still exist in the future for that purpose.  Wink

I predict that more and more people will use it as a wallet too, because they are used to custodial services protecting their money. (Which is the last thing you should do, but people do not listen)  Angry
2231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling house responisbilty to protect people data on: October 30, 2022, 06:13:13 PM
You have to look into the ToS of the site that you signed up to, because they can have a clause in there ...that gives them the right to use your data in certain circumstances. (Example : Promotional material when you win Big)

I seriously doubt that the casino will disclose the players real identity, but they might give the players casino name and the BetID as proof of the big win.  Roll Eyes

Unregulated casinos will do whatever they want to ... because they have nothing to lose, if they do something like this.

What did you guys think of Mikey and Steve's first Stream on DLive on Saturday? I think everything went pretty good for two people who has not done this on their own before.  Wink

Steve handled the drop's like a Pro..... and I think Mikey will get the hand of it..as soon as Steve has shown him the ropes and sorted out the privileges to do it.  Tongue

Eddie can be proud of these two guys.... now it is time for some of the other people to also join the 3rd spot... when Eddie is gone.  Wink
2233  Economy / Gambling / Re: I won 1500 dollars on a ufc fight + quit gambling on: October 30, 2022, 11:30:52 AM
Well enjoy all the money that I am feeding from this side... because most of my Sports bets ends in a "Loss" .... I am betting on different platforms and I hardly win anything. My Sport knowledge is rated between average to good... but it seems as though Sports betting is not my calling.  Roll Eyes

UFC fights are very tricky.... and one huge blow or kick can turn the odds in your favor or destroy you.... so you were extremely lucky.  Tongue
2234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I AM HODLING - Reminder this was invented on the Bitcointalk forum! on: October 30, 2022, 11:25:03 AM
Yes, I saw that ...... it was actually just a typo ..and someone saw that and thought it was catchy.. and they continued doing it. Some people seem to believe that it is the abbreviation for "hold on for dear life"  Roll Eyes

https://www.investopedia.com/terms/h/hodl.asp  .... I also saw a guy with a T-shirt in a Crypto movie that said "Hodl" ..the name of the movie is "Bitcon" - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt14463198/
2235  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Watford Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: October 29, 2022, 11:29:09 AM
So Stake will no longer be available to place bets on in Canada? Saw some message on their media about not being accessible in the region of Ontario.
Isn't their biggest ambassador Drake livestreaming from this country and or state/region?
This is very strange restriction with them directing their players from Canada to go to stake.ca domain instead for any future betting.

I think it is a controlled experiment to see how many people are playing from Canada and what games they might make available to them on that Server. If you look at the UK Server, you will see that only a limited amount of games are available.. so I think they want to do the same with Stake.ca  Huh

The thing is..... most players are simply going to use VPNs and continue playing like they used to. It will get tricky, if they want to withdraw their funds after a big win on Slots that they are not supposed to play on.  Roll Eyes

2236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why satoshi had one address per reward even though many people guess it is him. on: October 29, 2022, 11:21:09 AM
The whole idea with Pseudo anonymity is to not re-use addresses that can be linked back to you, because you used it for several things. Satoshi wanted to promote the idea to use new addresses for everything you do, to protect your pseudo anonymity.

Satoshi was also experimenting a lot with his new "invention" ..so he mined lots of coins and moved it around to experiment with the transfer of tokens and simulated payments.  Wink
2237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino with an online and offline branch. on: October 28, 2022, 04:28:29 PM
There are a lot of Fiat casinos that added Crypto currencies and now suddenly they look like Crypto casinos. Fiat casinos are those casinos that only accept traditional payment options.. like Credit cards etc.

I think the "Brick n Mortar" casinos or land-based casinos will eventually fund the development of online casinos for the future, because overheads for "Brick n Mortar" casinos are much higher than with online casinos.  Wink
2238  Economy / Gambling / Re: Maybe Yet to be seen? on: October 28, 2022, 04:20:22 PM
I really think NFTs are just a new trend or FAD that will blow over soon.... like we saw with the ICOs. (I hope I will not regret saying this, but after the whole ICO thing... I have lost some confidence in all the new technologies that are being used to "make" money.  Tongue

You can look at these two links ==> https://cointelegraph.com/news/limited-edition-nfts-unlock-access-to-crypto-casinos  and also https://www.gbhbl.com/how-online-casinos-use-nfts-and-blockchain-technology/

2239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Hal Finney's bitcoins are used? on: October 28, 2022, 04:13:58 PM
What happens when someone dies? ...Answer: Someone or an organization inherit his coins... so it is just natural that it might be used.  Roll Eyes  He was not Satoshi Nakamoto.... so I do not know why people have this obsession to monitor other people's wealth.

He was cryopreserved by the Alcor Life Extension Foundation, so I guess this foundation has to be paid to do this? I do not know if you pay for this before you die... or do they put money into a trust to pay for this?
2240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Crypto Gambling this year? on: October 27, 2022, 06:43:49 AM
Which "Men's Journal" are you referring to OP? When you post something like this, you have to post the proof in the form of a Url link or even a picture of the journal, if it is not something online. (Example : Men's Magazine)

People want to know how they came to that decision and if it is worthy of their time to investigate it's validity. There are a lot of competition out there and there are a lot of unethical methods used to get the edge over other competition. (Paying for good reviews or casinos funding review sites)  Roll Eyes
