2221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PSA: Bitcoin's survival and long term prospects depend on MtGox getting killed. on: May 17, 2013, 08:58:25 AM
As much as I dislike this freakish boygirl's temperament, I have to give credit that this he-she has accurately predicted a lot of things. Coinlab comes to mind. If you can get past the hairy scrotum hiding under the mini skirt, shim actually has a lot of insights.

You and Mistery Miner with this interwebs gender weirdfunk. Are you aware a dozen or so BTC people met me IRL? There's pix published and so on and so forth?

Now don't go shattering his fantasies.
2222  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiDICE.com - The World's Most Popular Bitcoin Game on: May 17, 2013, 08:50:12 AM
It's called "covering their own asses". Nothing will change for US players as it's technically impossible (unless of course you go the route of constantly generating new 1sdice-adresses), but Voorhees will be able to say "Look, we TOLD them they're not allowed to play" when his door gets kicked in.

The real challenge is the ignore button level. Wink

That just means he's not controversial enough.  Cheesy

Risto "Supernode" Pietilä

Anders "Supernord" Breivik

How can this be? Are there even more? Is it a secret experiment? What does the government not tell us?
2225  Economy / Reputation / Re: LukePFS Reputation Thread on: May 17, 2013, 08:21:00 AM
Just a FYI. Opening one of these retarded "reputation threads" is the best way to convince established members that you are not to be trusted and will get you regarded as a scammer or at least proto-scammer.
2226  Other / Meta / Re: Annoying "reputation" threads in off topic.... on: May 17, 2013, 07:31:48 AM
I think an entire child board in Trading Discussion for rep threads would be good.

I think they should just ban everyone who makes a rep thread. They're all scammers or proto-scammers.

What happened to OTC anyway?
2227  Other / Meta / Re: Email adress visible? How can i hide it? on: May 17, 2013, 07:30:38 AM
That would be because you're looking at your own account.
2228  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN]: BitcoinBandits.org on: May 17, 2013, 12:21:14 AM
We have a small but active Bitcoin ecology emerging down here, made up of people who want to use Bitcoin for international trade, rather than just mining and day trading.  We are, after all, the only part of the USA that is closer to dozens and dozens of foreign capitals than we are to Washington, DC, and all five of the major languages spoken in the Western Hemisphere—English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Haitian Creole—are spoken by locals.

I am pleased that he got this up in time for the Bitcoin 2013 conference.  I look forward to promoting it there.

Drink Miami coffee: Do cool stuff faster!

Asking for emails for specific BTC users, very suspicious.

More interesting is the receivablesxchange tracker hidden here: http://bitcoinbandits.org/giftcard-files/analytics_002

2229  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: >>>>Warning scam to get your password>> on: May 16, 2013, 07:20:19 PM
He's adorable. You should keep him around. Like a pet monkey.
2230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is a "Bitcoin Supernode"? on: May 16, 2013, 06:36:51 PM
I think I understand individuals running the software and being a node on the network relaying transactions and such.

But google seems to fail me when searching for specifics on what exactly a "Bitcoin Supernode" is.

It's when you believe yourself to be an extremely important person, then completely fuck up a simple get-together screaming bloody murder, fleeing from a luxury hotel because you believe they are out to kill you when they turn off your water after you've made a complete mess of the place and deny paying your bills, then keep mumbling about how you and your friends are armed and trained as soldiers and eventually get checked into a mental instituation. That's when you're a bitcoin supernode.

I'm not even joking. I wish I was, but I'm not.

The house is all exterior, with windows on three of the
four sides of the house, which gives natural light from
the first to the last minute of the day, all year long.

How hot does it get in there?

He, physical cards. How very 90s.

I know Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungencoin is pretty much the only serious Alt coin in the sea of shit that is currently out there

What about Donaudampfschiffahrtsgesellschaftskapitäncoin?

Hello, Noah Kocevar of Madison County, Indiana. Seeing as you're a minor you may not be aware of US legislation regarding gambling, so let me tell you in the clearest possible terms: stop what you're doing immediately, delete this thread and everything related to it, before the ATF comes kicking in your door and hauling off your butt to federal pound-me-in-the-ass-prison.

I want to see NYCesquire and Nolo get into anime style Phoenix Wright inspired slapfights.
2236  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiDICE.com - The World's Most Popular Bitcoin Game on: May 16, 2013, 02:40:48 PM
To re-confirm, SatoshiDICE_PR is a legitimate account and the representative of SD. The announcement is legitimate.

Are we sure this is Eric Voorhees behind this account and not simply another account taken over by a hacker?

I mean this does not sound like Eric Voorhees at all. Where is the bravado?
2237  Other / Off-topic / Re: I can't stop gambling what do I do on: May 16, 2013, 02:33:43 PM
Transfer your assets into Casascius coin. Makes it harder to just spend stuff on a whim.
2238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Live Bitcoin Exchange Rates Widget - 15th May MtGox API on: May 16, 2013, 12:46:11 PM
I'm confused. MtGox still is relevant?  Huh

Hi, I'm German. Apparently we're still Nazis. Also we seem to kill Jews by the boatload. Also I'm personally responsible for World War 2. Also ask me why I didn't stop Hitler.
