2221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 05, 2022, 03:38:30 PM
I think that Miami Heat is still doing a great job in the absence of some of their important players. They have many missing players due to covid-19 and injuries. But they still put up a very good fight against Golden State Warriors last night. Maybe they lost to Warriors by 115-108 but it was really close. And in this one, Curry wasn't the one who carried the team to this win. This time, Jordan Poole and Wiggins had this role. Especially Poole really impressed me by his performance of 32 points, 2 rebounds and 5 assists.

There's no doubt that the Heat is still tough even they lack players and they really put a great fight against GSW, especially Herro who's been the biggest contributor other than Butler and was their since 1st to 4th quarter to help the team. But those scores isn't what it is if Curry was activley in command of the team and playing like his average PPG plays. As we can see, GSW had just let their bench players to get the spotlights like Poole and Wiggins to attain more experience and be ready when the playoff eventually starts.

All of them are influenced by the system that coach Kerr is running inside the team,

Whoever player being pick and ask to play inside, they are all ready to participate and act on their role. That's the real beauty
of this team, ever since they are all active and ready.

Now we all witnessing how good the system GSW has, from the way those role players are doing, no offense with Wiggins and Poole
as they are really performing so well.
2222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A supermarket in Mexico now allows Bitcoin payments for all their items on: January 04, 2022, 04:33:00 PM

If you use a third party for bitcoin payments like bitpay, it will be costly because companies like bitpay will charge you extra cost. The best way is to integrate the bitcoin lightening network into the payment system.
As far as kyc is concerned, its not a big deal, why would you like to hide your identity if you are just buying your grocery from bitcoin and bitcoin is not illegal in your country.

There's no point hiding your identity when only buying grocery items but the problem here is when they found out you have some huge amount of BTC in your main wallet. that will cause some serious problems to others especially those residing in less protected countries where criminals can hire some policemen to raid your home and plant some evidence just to extract those BTC from you. It's best to have multiple wallets and do things right to avoid such kinds of problems in the future because when you are transparrent someone is always watching you.

It's another case, but yes, it will not be safe if you are residing in a place where securities is not that good.

Once criminals realize that you are holding a huge amount of money into crypto, they will chase you. It's always best to have
additional wallet to secure your fund.

You are protecting not just yourself but your investment, too. Good to see that there's an initiative with OP's post.
2223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: January 04, 2022, 03:07:00 PM
I don't know how Inoue is no longer interested to fight against Casimero. But didn't he told before that he's okay to spar with him in the ring even before this match of Casimero against Butler came?

Yes, that was before but things have changed when Casimero failed to show up in their supposed weigh-in with Butler a day before the main event.

For further readings, you can check here:

Inoue won’t be taken by Casimero antics: ‘I lost interest in this guy’
Thanks!

This means that Inoue is also monitoring this match of Casimero and probably have been disappointed on what happened. So it's in the hands of Inoue if he gets interested again to fight Casimero.

But there's still a chance I guess if ever some good and exciting match has been shown by Casimero.

They both still inside same division and the chance of facing each other is always there,

As long as they both handle a belt, the call for the fight will remain. We don't know if how long we need to wait
it's all on the promoters side.

Casimero just need to continue winning whoever fighter that will challenge him, it's just like Pacquiao and Mayweather
the fight happened after many talks behind two camps.
2224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 04, 2022, 11:55:14 AM
I wonder how Nets lost to Grizzlies home by a this many point difference last night. I was even expecting Nets to defeat them with the help of KD and Harden. But their performances combined wasn't that impressive unfortunately. Morant and Bane played a big role in this win for certain. Morant got 36 points and Bane got 29. And Morant got 6 reb and 8 ast also which was a really solid performance. I really admire his performance in this season. Especially in the last 4 games, he made a really huge effort.

Well, there's something what you call an off-night for every sports including the NBA and also, you don't want to underestimate the Grizzlies this season. They are pretty solid this season especially with the Adam acquisition.
It's good to see a good Grizzlies team again since Marc Gasol, Randolph, Mike Conley, and Rudy Gay. Too bad they didn't win a championship with that line up.
Let's see what this current Grizzlies team can do in the playoffs.

The dark horse, it's good to remember those old stars who always their competing with top caliber teams.

Nets are not exempt in losing the game, even you have KD and Harden if they have a bad performances while the other side are playing
solid, shit will happen..

Each teams have their solid performance it's just the Grizzlies who have that from the leadership of Morant. Better Luck
next time.
2225  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you really need in your trading? on: January 03, 2022, 05:01:04 PM
To be honest, everyone certainly has their own strategy in trading because a strategy in trading is really needed. Of the several types of trading that have been mentioned, each has its own advantages and risks. For now, I'm more focused on my own training because we can be more flexible and we also have full control over our assets. but the risk is that we have to really think about the trade ourselves, especially the ups and downs of the crypto market that will certainly affect our emotions. That's why traders who can't control their emotions will rush and panic when the market doesn't match with their expectations.

Proper education with the business that you will going to participate,

it's good that you think wider not to rush things out and make sure to have the proper knowledge in order to adjust in each trading situation the market will bring, we know that there are many strategies that we can follow, but doing one that we really understand gives us enough confidence to make things workable and a possibility to bring a decent amount of benefit.

Just launched sportsbook! https://duelbits.com/sportsbook check it out, give us your thoughts!
Congratulations and happy new year, duelbits. Very neat and simple. I'm sure that due to the popularity of duelbits, the market for sportsbetting will also become popular and you'll be part of those that are known in the area.
Do you have some plans of adding e-sports on the books?

What I like about the launch of the sportsbook is that they also launched some nice promotions including the risk free bets we got. Just because of the promotions people are motivated to check it out and to place some bets (the odds on soccer are also really good).

A nice way to market this new addition to their business,

With free bet, people who manage to use this opportunity will continue to play back. I'm happy to see that they are, really
doing their best to cater to what gamblers want to have.

One single place to do your business, I mean to play with both casino and sports betting, keep it up Guys and good luck
to all of us!
2227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: January 03, 2022, 12:25:44 PM
What we need to think is, if Casimero will lose in that match, a face-off against Naoya Inoue won't be possible.

Very much likely it's not going to happen If Casimero losses to Butler. Infact, Inoue has lost interest in facing Casimero after he got diagnosed with viral gastritis due to weight loss.
https://www.google.com/amp/news.abs-cbn.com/amp/sports/12/24/21/inoue-says-lost-interest-in-casimero-fight
I guess Inoue don't want to fight with an opponent who already has a reason why his opponent lost the fight. The Monster may want an opponent who is 100% healthy without any recent medical conditions relating to the fight preparations.
Let's just hope Casimero will win in this fight or else he'll miss the opportunity to fight with the Japanese rising boxing superstar.

I think that's just his excuse so he cannot fight Casimero. Even before, he wasn't so willing to fight Casimero as he always tell that it depends on his promoter and now he had that kind of statement, I doubt he is not a real monster as we all know.

Or another way to hype the possibilities of the upcoming fight between Casimero and Inoue.

Casimero just need to beat Butler and then again make some trash talks online to call the attention of Inoue.
We know how keen Casimero to have that chance fighting the Monster.

Everything will be possible after this fight. We just have to wait for this one, then discuss another once it was done.
2228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 03, 2022, 11:44:33 AM
The only game that I was able to bet tonight is the Lakers vs Wolves. I took a big risk on betting +6.5 Wolves live betting when the score is tied 45-45.

Good bet on this one, as Lakers won alright, but it was just 5 points, enough to cover your bet.

Wizards and the Hornets tomorrow game, I think Wizard can cover the spread at -1.5 here. The Hornets is on back to back games and just lost huge against the Suns. So I guess the Wizards playing at their homecourt will be a big boost for him enough to make that -1.5 spread. I wouldn't be surprised if they are going to win with almost double digit lead.

After that defeat with the Suns, then another road game Hornets might be very exhausted.

Handicap is not that far. Taking it if you trust Wizard at home may give you better profits. I'm also thinking the same with this
game, Wizard may perform with the crowd behind them.

Oh well, good luck to you!
2229  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How many consecutive looses can you handle in trading? on: January 02, 2022, 07:29:21 PM
I can bear up to 2 looses. Have yes lost few trades but learnt from it. The lesson I have learnt is, choose the right coin and be patient to buy at deep and yes never sell at loss, hold the coin until it reaches up a certain profit which should be less than 10 percentage. When you usually buy at deep I mean at very less price, you have a lot chance to close off the trade with a reasonable profit when the value grows up. So yes market can move at any direction, only the remedy is the patience.

And when we say patience, it's not just a little but deeper to let you hold during the bear market.

If you fail to control your emotions, the next thing you will see is you are losing your money, winning trades compared to your
losing trade also counts, you should learn from each result.

The deeper you proceed, the more idea and strategy that you will learn. Make sure to use it to increase your confidence
trading should also be accompanied by enough confidence with your judgements.
2230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much btc do you need to secure your future? on: January 02, 2022, 06:50:27 PM
This is actually an interesting question- since securing your "future" can be a difficult question to answer given the relativity of the amount of money needed in living in a particular area (e.g. first world countries vs third world countries, etc.).

As someone who lives in a third-world country, the amount of 1 BTC can garner you a very comfortable life- you can actually purchase a condominium unit in a relatively safe environment. But if the question focuses on "security in my future", I think having 20-30 BTCs can make my future very secured to the point that I can live accordingly without any hassle or inconvenience.

Future ahead is not ours,

But if given a chance, I also think that holding that amount of bitcoin will allow me to secure not only me but also my family. That number of holdings is good enough to make sure that me and everyone I love will live a comfortable life.

We do have a different environment, but with that money converted to fiat, even you are in a first world economy you can still have
good way of living. Not that luxurious, but enough to live.
2231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 02, 2022, 06:36:44 PM
Golden State Warriors won even with a fully healthy Utah Jazz. Without Draymond Green to lead the offense and their defense, other players had stepped up their game. One of them is Andre Iguodala who made a lot of wise decisions to prevent the Jazz from taking the lead.
I bet they will put in the top 10 highlights one of his classy moves. The dime to Wiggins but missed the shot and then Iggy followed it with a dunk.  Cheesy Then the 3 point dagger to close the game. Classic Iguodala putting a show at the Jazz floor.

Jazz had a lot to prove in this game but unfortunately defense is dead nowadays. Just look at the shots jazz gave up to poor defense at the end of a close game. Actually no defense I must say... But those who haven't seen old school don't know what defense really is. I'm not taking anything from GSW btw, their the one to beat rn but it would be better to see them face real defense at the end of a road game against a top team.

Mitchell had a very bad shooting, he is only 4-19, that's what happens when someone chooses to shoot the ball more instead of facilitating it to his teammates. It's a very typical Mitchell, it usually happened against a good team and we saw it again, that's why Jazz would never succeed because if their opponent knows how to limit or stop Mitchell, the whole offense will be affected.

Mitchell has a lot of time with only 5points lead but instead of trying to attack and get an end one he chooses to throw the ball.

I mean that air ball that he did in last 30 second or more, not a good decision but it was Mitchell
and Jazz needs to accept that.

Unlike with GSW, the rotation of players is very organized, they are trusting each other, I really enjoy that last shot of Iggy.
nice to sign him back. He's really comfortable playing.
2232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 02, 2022, 03:15:16 PM
I have a parlay on Bucks -10.5 + Bulls -1.5.
Bro, sorry about that. It's a hit for the Bucks but the Bulls won it with a buzzer-beater from Demar and the lead is only 1.

Utah Jazz on the other hand cannot handle Steph Curry. GSW problem might be the rebounding and inside defense but Jazz has bigger problems because up until now Gobert is not going up whenever a screen is happening which leads to a lot of room for Steph to shoot his killer threes. 6/12 for Steph on 3 point line.

Cheer to all the winners.

Another day of luck buds!

So nice to see someone who continues winning. You well assess the game of bucks and warriors.
I was in the impression that after that 2nd half run by the jazz they will take this one,

But again, the greatness of Steph shines up. And don't forget that sealing shot of Iggy that dictates.
the game..

Congrats again!
2233  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How many consecutive looses can you handle in trading? on: January 01, 2022, 06:53:14 PM

But, when you are adopting a new strategy then you should not go using it right away. You should first test on paper trading; this way it seems you must have back up plans for your strategy so that you may not disturb your trading routines when you change your trading strategies.

Trading is one thing that we keep falling out of sometimes no matter the amount of care you implore in it, you make a single mistake and you may have big regret. Despite the paper trading which is same as practice, if we don't understand how to control our emotions, we may keep having difficulty in it. So as we are doing paper trading, we can still practice with small amount to build real trading emotions.

If I understand it right, both of you got that point in which will help traders to anticipate what the market will bring,

Practice your strategy using paper trading or demos will probably give you ideas about what to do when you already dealing using your money and in the other hand, using a small amount of investment to test if you are doing things correctly will enhance your chance to keep improving.

Both are useful, but yes, emotion is the thing that you really need to avoid whenever you are in this field.

Wow, nice win! An early celebration for this upcoming New year Grin

More additional beers and more party until tomorrow, great catch and congrats to you @dan and to all those who won their picks
enjoy the night and keep safe!

A lot of games tomorrow for those who losses their picks, you can always have the chance to recover...
Thank you. I did put all my profits for the beers and enjoyed New Year's Eve. More win for us this 2022.

Back to my early picks after a 1-day rest. I selected two games for now but I might do live picks before the other games starts.
Milwaukee Bucks versus New Orleans Pelicans - Bucks -10.5 Khris Middleton out so I am putting some bets for Giannis player props since they will rely on him for the offensive contribution.

Utah Jazz versus Golden State Warriors - GSW +4.5 Their main problem here is the rebounding part, I hope Coach Steve Kerr already has a plan on stopping Gobert even without Draymond Green.

Seems interesting, I do see that same problem with Gobert, but maybe Bjelica will step up and help the team inside.

While Steph and the rest of the guys will compete outside, the system for GSW will remain the same with or without Green role players
are aware of how they need to help each time they've got the chance playing inside.

Not going to bet now but will try to check during live game. I'm with you with GSW.. Best of Luck!
2235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's never too late to start on: January 01, 2022, 05:08:38 PM
Slightly tells me that I know bitcoin from this forum around June 2017,
But I haven't kept up with the crypto world for a long time due to my busy business and boredom with the price of BTC in 2019.
So I almost forgot all my assets until there was one. the thing I think is my stupidity, I omitted my Trezor which still contained around 9 ETH at the time I bought ETH around $ 700 in mid 2018, and ETH keeps dropping so I ignore it.
Long story short I want to start from scratch I want to ask the seniors who are here.
I want to start trading again. Could you please give me some advice so that I don't go through things like a few years ago.

We actually have the same experience- started on the forum last 2017 (though I participated into various campaign signatures) but I went on spending every bit of its proceeds. Unfortunately, I did not expect its price to skyrocket to its price now; I would have earned around $20,000+ on the bank if I just kept and HODL my BTCs.

While trading may be considered an alternative method of earning BTCs, I highly advise to avoid it especially if you lack the necessary skills and experience on the field. But if you really prefer trading, then start low and learn from there. Trading and staking high amounts of value may result into a loss that is unexpected due to the high risk of the method itself.

Good point, starting low and try checking if you are fit for this business.

Never to rush things out, most of those who participated because of the hypes failed and losses their money inside this market,
it's never too late if you know what you are doing and you understand the cycle.

Invest your time and not only your money to understand the nature of this business if you see by yourself that you are capable
working around, that's the best time to go full time and invest a good portion of your savings.
2236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you buying in this market downturn? on: January 01, 2022, 02:39:03 PM
on the drop in price the weekend before the new year, i have bought bnb, eth and xrp , maybe i am wrong in buying xrp for the end of this year but i hope xrp can give me a profit during the next bullrun

As long as you have good patience ahead, XRP might give you some good bounce and let you earn from holding it.

It's been a long time when this 3 coins are competing but suddenly XRP now is out of the picture, it's only BNB and ETH that left
from top position while XRP losses lots of support not just because of open case but also, with a lot of a new project that is being offered around.

Hopefully, it will hold its position and when the next bull run comes, it can pump and maybe it can reach the last time high or maybe more..
2237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gary Russell vs Mark Magsayo WBC Featherweight Title on: January 01, 2022, 02:24:55 PM

I guess that depends on the promoter handling Rusell, if they are not active in marketing him then he can't do anything but wait until a good fight is given to him, and this time, he gets a good opponent that came from a very impressive victory. The fact that Rusell is a champion, I don't want to question him anymore as I expect he is a great fighter and that is a great challenge for Magsayo.

Handlers affect each fighter, no question about that.

The boxer will fight when handlers already sign a deal for him, not sure what kind of promoter Russell have
but yes, he is a champion good enough to say that he is also a tough contender.

Magsayo will be tested with this fight and both of them will receive a good hype whoever wins this fight.
2238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why should Gambling be legalized ? on: December 31, 2021, 01:59:28 PM
In the world of gambling, there are many things, that we can get some are bad some are good.
If you are a normal gambler and play in any gambling site you can enhance your mental health and reduce stress and also you will forget your problem sometimes if you win the game.
You can make friends by socializing with some gamblers.
But the bad benefits are if you can not control yourself you will take away to gamble even if you do not have extra money and also you are one of those gambling addict.
Most of the time, the bad sides affect every gambler,

the good side in long time playing will end up a disaster, this enjoyment part is also risky. People tend to push ahead
when they are winning.

And everything will start from there, though if you can control and yes, that will release some stress and let you feel the
entertaining part of this venue, nonetheless, it's all about how you handle your participation.
2239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to my bitcoin if I die today? on: December 31, 2021, 01:00:24 PM
If indeed you die suddenly and there is absolutely no sign, then maybe your Bitcoin will be in your wallet forever. However, if you keep your data neat, and easy to understand on your personal computer. Then there is still a possibility that your Bitcoin will be used by the owner of the computer next.
Which is your own family but accessing it would be useless if family members arent really that techy when it comes on accessing things thats why its really important for you on at least showing off some
preparedness on teaching them about even just with the basics because no one really know on when they would die thats why it would be sensible on leaving those coins to be worthy and be used
by your loved ones rather than on letting them totally lost in void or totally cant be used by everybody. You should be mindful even with the simplest stuff
because you dont know on what would happen next.

The right thing to do, educating those people around you to make sure that in case a sudden death happened, they know what to do.

It's no good just to let them know that you are investing in this industry and nothing else, but the good thing is to also
guide them. Even interest is not there from them.

Knowledge is better than losing your hard earned investment when an accident happened or whatever kind of incident that
caused to lose your life.

^Yes bro it was postponed.  Cry I was expecting a good game to watch before New Year's Eve so I ended up watching the Nets vs 76ers. The end part was fun with Embiid and Durant roasting each other. The scar just won't heal on these two great players just yet.

I have a good amount of wins though, thanks to Giannis Antetokounmpo player props. Sadly, there's no parlay for the same bets at Stake.com just yet so it all ended as single bets.
