2221  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Strategies to trade new listing on top exchange on: March 15, 2021, 02:07:36 PM
Questions like how and when will pop out of this.
How will you know if the price is already stable?
When? Upon listing, is there an exact date where the stability will happen?

This ain't like fiat and commodities trading where the fluctuation is just near the usual price.
Cryptocurrencies are so volatile there is no assurance as to what the future will bring.
You don't know the whales that are investing and you don't know when they will sell. No one controls that.
2222  Economy / Speculation / Re: Think before investing, the moon has limits on: March 15, 2021, 11:53:54 AM
If Bitcoin reaches the moon, we will not consider its USD value.
Been thinking about that and most of it was regret.
Although I had my joy when spending it back then. That won't be paid by any kind of money.

Anyway, don't ride the expensive boat. That's one of the things I learned in this forum 4 years ago.
Up until now, it's still like a motto of mine. I'm the cheap type of person and I want everything to be as cheap as it could get before I buy them.
After that, what every investor need is patience. But I doubt they will have it if the mindset is being a millionaire in an easy way.
2223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: March 15, 2021, 05:09:13 AM
GSW won.  Cheesy
Just when I took a bet for the Jazz. It's crazy.

Steph Curry doing his normal absurd shots with the support of Wiggins, Poole, and Wiseman.
Green with triple-double again that typically says they will win the game.
I see a lot of future for Wiseman, he just needs more experience to see it.
2224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many coin in circulation on: March 14, 2021, 03:59:39 PM
Even the whitest whitepaper could go wrong.
There are good projects before but lack support.
A lot of times they are marketing but it's just not much inviting.
That's also one of the problems in this crypto industry. Sometimes you will need a bump from known people or hype from the mass just to go above that softcap and bring light to the project.

Also, most of the altcoins now are a repeat of what ICO projects had done. They just didn't get that much attention before, unlike now there's a higher chance.
2225  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trading from Scratch on: March 14, 2021, 12:48:50 PM
If trading is as simple as @OP say, I am sure many people will make a profit. But unfortunately, trading is not as simple as that because we need to learn deeper about trading so we can make a profit. Without having the right trading skills, you will hard to analyze any coin, and even you can make a wrong buy or sell because you can not see where the trend is moving.

You need to learn more things about trading and you need to research before you trade, and do not use too big money if you are not sure that you know that is the right time to buy the coin. It will better to trade safely than to risk your money.
True, I hope it's that easy.
That kind of perspective is why many new traders are losing a lot of money. It's like they are gambling it already.
You can put different ideas to make it low risk. Analyze the market, hear opinions from people who are good at it. (better with experienced ones)

This forum is a good start. That's all I could say and up until now, I am still learning here.
Don't boast, keep the low profile and pass what you learned from your own experience to others, just like how you were taught.
2226  Economy / Economics / Re: I think I know who satoshi really is Am I Crazy? He He.... on: March 14, 2021, 07:48:23 AM
Yes, you are crazy. He He....

Satoshi put all his time and effort into Bitcoin.
Steve also did with his Apple.
For a normal human being, it would be difficult to do both at the same time.
I think you are confusing coincidence with facts.  Grin
2227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: March 14, 2021, 03:15:27 AM
Without a doubt, they are the number 1 team now in the league, and I think at this moment they are unstoppable, but there is pressure on their shoulders now because if they will not be champions, I think it will be the most humiliating team ever assemble in the history of the NBA and any other sports, this team now is stronger than the team assemble in the bay area, and they can do threepeat.
Let's wait for the choke specialists.
Playoffs a bitch. True star players can be seen at these moments especially the crucial ones.
James Harden had been a good customer of playoffs chokes.  Grin

They can win a championship, no doubt about that.
But three-peat? Oh no! When you fill a team with superstars, a problem always comes after 1 championship. (ie. Celtics, Heat)
Envy. Issues. Media confusing the fans and fans confusing which to support. Who's better with whom? That kind of problem affects the players.
2228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how would you explain chart like this with your experience in crypto? on: March 13, 2021, 01:35:53 PM
HitBTC listing = 80 percent scam coin.  Grin
That exchange is still sending me emails even without me visiting their website.
It says I logged in to another country even if I didn't.  Huh

Let's just say it's shady to avoid any more conflict. But 80 percent again to avoid that exchange and then ICO's listing there initially.
Run as fast as you can and get your money back as soon as possible.
2229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake bets on: March 13, 2021, 07:00:04 AM
If some people are still doubtful about this, I can spend some extra time to show more material. But, it should be quite obvious by now -- Pretty much all of their advertisers have somewhat admitted to gambling with monopoly money.

Advertisers.
I think that's the point of why they do this kind of act.
It's just simply to promote it. Yeah, they might be refilling their balances endlessly but I think the purpose is to showcase that those winning amounts are possible.
I am not defending Roobet but more like defending the advertisers here.
It's a job and they must do whatever is told to them. Although there should be limits.

The same goes with shampoo commercials that don't really make your hair shine.
But look, they still keep on telling people the same thing decades ago even until now.
2230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where's the altcoin bull on: March 13, 2021, 03:18:02 AM
It's possible that no such thing will happen again.
All eyes are on the popular coins right now and if ever there is one that will bloom out of the bush the percentage is too low.
That era that we are expecting is long forgotten.
I don't think we will ever see that again if we also consider the fact that many stable coins are being created and that where all the funds go whenever they want to make a profit instead of putting it with altcoins. That's the life of altcoins before that had been taken away.
2231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: March 13, 2021, 12:52:41 AM
Any leads when will Blake will start playing? is he going to play in their next match? against Piston or Knicks? or both opponents?
KD recruited him so that he will have a sitting partner.  Grin

“I talked to KD the most,” he said. “I’ve known James, KD, Kyrie, and DeAndre for a long time, so this is a familiar team for me.”

Eventually, they will play.
I doubt the impact though, we will have to see it first before we could conclude what he can contribute to the team.
I wish he could play against the Pistons tomorrow. That will be fun to watch.  Grin
2232  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade + study = great combination on: March 12, 2021, 06:35:50 AM
I heard about Shrimpy in this forum before but never really tried it.
Etoro is one of the known regarding investing and trading services so there are no questions about that.
They filled a lot of websites with their advertising powers.  Grin

“you simply let someone else develop the trading strategy for you by directly copying the exact same trades they make”.
It doesn't mean it will be an accurate strategy though.
Your effort is still needed to make the risk lower until almost zero.
Might as well do everything on your own instead of doubting one's work and doing it over again.  Grin
2233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or Bitcoin which is best. on: March 12, 2021, 04:30:16 AM
It's difficult to give equal advice when we are talking about two of the most supported coins out there.
I'd prefer Bitcoin if you will ask me. But I do have an investment with Ethereum too.

Investment wise. Bitcoin. Popularity reason. Most of the new investors will go thru Bitcoin first or will bump with it first before getting to know Ethereum.
So expect a higher impact with it in long-term value.
Ethereum had its up and downs also especially now with heavy traffic tx's and fees soaring.
Your choice, both are good enough to be invested with.
2234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 12, 2021, 01:06:32 AM
My pick for tonight.

Game : Hawks vs Raptors
Pick : Hawks -3

Let's see if the Hawks can easily win against a team that is having some health problems on their key players.
Did you just check every team injury report for these 11 games? That's 22 teams.  Shocked
I didn't see that report about the Raptors but now I do.
No Siakam, VanVleet, McCaw, and OG. That's a lot of players going thru health protocols.
Nice find. It's a bit late already to bet live. -8.5 for the Hawks @1.77 No, I am not taking it.
2235  Economy / Gambling / Re: "The Maharaja of Bitcointalk" Sports Bettors/Tipster Competition 🏆Free entry🏆 on: March 11, 2021, 03:21:26 PM
Thank you for the invite dude.
I voted for Maharaja as it was used before in MMORPG's that I played. That's all the reason I voted for it.  Grin  Roll Eyes

Anyway, I will not be participating in the contest.
I just don't like recording what I bet or how much I spent. Maybe someone does that and this is a good opportunity for them.
Good luck to all the participants.
2236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 11, 2021, 10:49:12 AM
I'll be on the other side of your Wizard's ML Bet...

I took SportsBet offer of Grizzlies and Dallas Mavericks, I guess that's all I'll be taking for this night, until there's an increased number of fixtures to be played the same day.
Damn, you got me there.
Should've waited for your picks before I took it.  Grin
Congratulations. Another perfect bet for you.  Wink

11 games for later? Whoa! But no Nuggets game?  Meh. Cry
I am intrigued to watch and bet for just 3 games.
Nets vs Celtics
Clippers vs Warriors
Trail Blazers vs Suns

2237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which One of This Features of a Coin Would Make You Invest Your Time and Money? on: March 11, 2021, 07:35:22 AM
I don't know anything about what you are shilling but just to answer the question, store of value is my pick.
Long-term holding.
Instead of just relying upon banks with all your money with just a little interest then, I would rather choose a cryptocurrency with a good future.
So the features of the projects will be next and so on and forth.
Everything is important in the end.
2238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: March 11, 2021, 12:38:39 AM
Heat became looks like different when playoffs came so it's not good to downplay them right now since they still have young and reliable rooster which can make other team upset, I think this will became an interesting match up if they would face on the playoffs.
They surprised us last playoffs when they beat the Bucks, then beat the Celtics.
The contribution of Adebayo, Herro, and Robinson are so remarkable, this young fellas have exceeded our expectation, and we hope to surprise us again.

If ever there is a chance to repeat what the Heat did, key players will be those 3 young players.
Robinson had been their sharpshooter but Coach Spoelstra should make some plays just for him to loosen up the defense and make way for Bam and Herro.
Butler will be their emergency play for isolation if ever that attack will fail.
I still believe in teams that have higher chemistry to win the championship rather than chess pieces simply put on a chessboard.

Lots of fans are jumping the Nets bandwagon.  Grin
Twitter is flooded about the Nets.
2239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 10, 2021, 02:22:03 PM
And... we're back.  Grin

No new injury reports for both Grizzlies and Wizards.
Wizards ML.
Well-rested players mean they will go all out. Maybe over 236 score? Who's betting for that?
The last time they met was 236 exactly.  Cheesy
2240  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Data suggesting more than 95% traders are losing on: March 10, 2021, 01:41:14 PM
I tend to pull back when I feel like losing more.
But in the end, yeah, I did lose more.  Grin

Why such a high percentage of traders losing?
In my own opinion, there are too many wannabes in that field. When they saw the crypto field market going to the roof they tried to jump in without even thinking twice.
"Yeah, let's go trade and make more $, it's easy." Ended up broke.
