Anyone have thoughts on these boards and have used them compared to the black boards Phil bought? Black boards I was quoted $1650 shipped for 10 These boards quoted $1500 shipped for 10 Just wondering if I should pay the extra money for the black boards or go with these cheaper ones? I have good news on these if you want to use a server pc and not an atx. sidehack has a pcie to molex break out board he built a while ago for risers. it has 2 pcie on and 3 molex 4 pin out.. so 2 of them and some molex to sata adapters would let you use a server board with these.

In the USA no customs until you hit $2500 I believe. Members have ordered miners 1 at a time and mostly kept under the radar, though one had FedEx add together two shipments that arrived separately about a week apart and still charged him! they now charge on 1 piece around 45 usd it could be they are count all the ones I purchased during the year. translation order 1 = tax order 2 = tax order 3 = tax this is as applied to ups I have 3 coming today. coins now over 15000 usa !

The fans on these sticks may not be good.
One now shudders making noise and vibrating the stick.
I pull the two fans and now use external fans all is well in fact better then when I ran with the little fans also not as loud.
I can not find it but someone else said their fan became unbalanced and vibrated.
This happens even though the fan screws are tight and correctly installed,
I have similar issue with fan ( only one of the 3 sticks ordered ). Time to time starts making really annoying noise ... i also think is's increasing in speed as the noise level is increasing as well (and i can feel unusual vibrations when touch it) but after restarting the miner it's back to normal. I also tried to tighten/loose the screws but that just change the noise frequency (pitch or what it's called) ... I have quite wide range of fans on hand so will try to find some that fits ... so no big issue. But have other question. Wanted to put one of sticks on USB cable and put it between window frames to keep it cold ( i have double windows in my house ) ... miner recognize the stick (green led is on) but won't show any hashrate (just zeros). Can be the long cable cause of this issue? It's 2 meters long. I tried it with shorter one (1 m) and that works well. Anyhow, OP you did a great job, thanks for these awesome miniminers. yeah trying to figure out how many of us have this fan issue. and it looks like that stick has more issues. I seem to have 1 good one and one bad one.

https://www.reddit.com/r/NiceHash/comments/7i0s6o/official_press_release_statement_by_nicehash/Official press release statement by NiceHash self.NiceHash Submitted 39 minutes ago by Andrej_ID - announcement Unfortunately, there has been a security breach involving NiceHash website. We are currently investigating the nature of the incident and, as a result, we are stopping all operations for the next 24 hours. Importantly, our payment system was compromised and the contents of the NiceHash Bitcoin wallet have been stolen. We are working to verify the precise number of BTC taken. Clearly, this is a matter of deep concern and we are working hard to rectify the matter in the coming days. In addition to undertaking our own investigation, the incident has been reported to the relevant authorities and law enforcement and we are co-operating with them as a matter of urgency. We are fully committed to restoring the NiceHash service with the highest security measures at the earliest opportunity. We would not exist without our devoted buyers and miners all around the globe. We understand that you will have a lot of questions, and we ask for patience and understanding while we investigate the causes and find the appropriate solutions for the future of the service. We will endeavour to update you at regular intervals. While the full scope of what happened is not yet known, we recommend, as a precaution, that you change your online passwords. We are truly sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused and are committing every resource towards solving this issue as soon as possible. In my case I think 1000 usd loss. of btc. I am now on mmpool.org for btc and on mining hub pool for about 21000 sols of cash.

Rumor has it they got hacked and lost over 4700 BTC.
for them to lose that much money. 4700 x 12900 = 60,630,000 oh well

Yeah that does suck if its true, but on the bright side difficulty plummeted on a lot of coins and I'm reaping the rewards I wonder which coins will benefit with Nicehash offline ? NVIDIA based coins and algos? Zen got a nice boost for me. I moved to MHP mining hub pool. But I had 18th pointed to nicehash for my 3 pack of avalons and my 3 accounts had earnings of 800 dollars total.

We offer free shipping. So there is no real benefit other that trust to use bitmain.
But you said "free shipping deals are closed" Sale prices now closed and free shipping deals are closed.
We offer group buy on the forum if members wish that can always be done via escrow.
"Group buy", what does it mean? Like some people or a person buy ASICs in bulk, such as 10-12 units? Home much the minimum amount for "group buy" ? People can trust your site as long as escrow involved. Are those ASICs new (never used before) ? Do you offer any guarantee such as replace it if ASIC is damaged upon receipt at the destination? I would think not. Be cautious buying.
First post = the only person that claims a good purchase = Nov 17

that = f'd up timeline I got my delivery of a D3 it arrived from China to the EU in 17 days...

I just sold some btc at 12,100 .
Have to check on other coins on bittrex. May sell more.
Phil, curious are you selling coins off to take a profit or invest in more equipment? That's sort of my dilemma now, I know buying and holding would yield more profit in the long run that mining. But I'm compelled to buy more mining equipment. It's sort of counter intuitive of course it's all speculative but still. More gear! Buysolar and I will be building the new bigger and better solar array. Stage 1 should be done this spring.

There aren't really ripoff miners but instead people who scam with fake online stores, etc. If you physically have a miner in hand just power it on and try to get into the config page by trying to start it up. If you're buying miners from this forum, make sure to always use reputable escrowers like Philipma or Ognasty, etc. Besides gouged eBay and Amazon prices and direct from Bitmain or from forum members, there's not really many other places to buy these miners. The "resellers" are probably just scammers. Bitmain doesn't have any real official resellers afaik.
I sometimes sell gear. And I do escrow. On marketplace sales. Problem on marketplace is the 12000 plus btc price is allowing high resell prices. Keep going to bitmain site every hour on the hour order one when it pops up

Anybody notice what XMR did the last couple of hours? Crazy it went over $300 a couple places! I jumped in an transferred a few over to bittrex where it was the highest of the 3 exchanges i am on and converted a few to Tether. Interesting that there was about 10-12% spread between bittrex and Polo, so sending to bit was a no-brainer, especially since i was just converting to USDT. I also dumped a little bit of DASH and DCR, just to hedge a bit in case there's a pull back on the horizon.
Not sure if any of you are mining ETN but it got de-listed from whattomine recently. Still though, at .10 now it's still easily #1 profit if you can find a good pool. There are a lot of dicey ones that either dont' report stats well or go offline way too much. I switched over to hashparty.io about 4-5 hours ago and it seems pretty solid so far. Still have half my rigs on ETH+DCR though due to all the problems with ETN... don't really wanna commit all my miners there should it all blow up overnight lol. Still, hoping to get my Vega rig up and running by next week as that thing is gonna kill on ETN or XMR. Still need to find 2 more Vega 56's so hoping to see some hit the market soon.
I just sold some btc at 12,100 . Have to check on other coins on bittrex. May sell more.
