2241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Take This 2 Minutes Nine Step Quiz To Access Yourself In Gambling on: July 07, 2022, 12:15:48 AM
Have you assessed yourself on what kind of gamblers are you, this quiz which is a 2-minute nine-step quiz that will assess you on what kind of gamblers are you after you take the risk to be sure to answer the poll so the community will know how many of us here are Non-Problem Gambler, Moderate-Risk Gambler or High-Risk Gambler.

Well, I've been through two gambling situations in my life... one where I was addicted and where I'm sure my "score" on this quiz would be high, and one where I managed to re-establish myself and regain control.
I took the quiz based on my current situation and the result proves that I'm on the right track: "Non-Problem Gambler"
Thank you for sharing this study with us.

We are in the middle of the season now. Leclerc is still 43 points behind Verstappen for the championship and Perez is also another hindrance for him to get over. The result of the previous race would have been much different for Leclerc if the team didn't do meaningless things for him. Leclerc has another race ahead to hope for melting the gap with Verstappen this week. However it is really difficult to find a chance for him like Verstappen would have a really bad race. However Leclerc can still win an extra advantage in the sprint race also.

It's a shame to see that Leclerc "left" the race when Verstapen was 13 seconds behind his rival.
Even so, I believe that the Dutchman has a real chance to take that position and go on to victory. But... every circuit is a surprise and there is no way to predict anything in F1.
I think it is very difficult for Lecler to win, despite the impressive result in this last race (until he leaves), in a general scenario Leclerc is not doing very well.
2243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 07, 2022, 12:02:05 AM
I'm hearing about some news like Mauricio Pochettino would like to return to the Premier League. He has got sacked by PSG as you know and he is free agent now. If Tottenham didn't have a manager now maybe they would think of bringing him back. However they have a great manager like Conte now. As a result I wonder if there is any team that could be interested in signing him now. I don't see any big team that are in need of a manager currently.
This is a dismissal that we all expected and in my opinion it was a good one.
In this reformulation process that PSG is going through, the change of coach is a very important step.
Unfortunately, the two eliminations in the Champions League, one for Manchester City in the semi-finals in the 2020/21 season and another for Real Madrid last season, still in the round of 16, weighed heavily on Pochetino's departure, apart from the fact that he is the target of criticism from the fans for never having managed to make the trio Mbappé, Messi and Neymar live up to the expectations of a PSG player

2246  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Por que 21 milhões? on: July 06, 2022, 12:40:50 AM

2247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: July 06, 2022, 12:35:41 AM
No World Cup can ever be won by relying on one player. So I think if Argentina rely on Messi alone, they will have to give up the hope from the World Cup. Everyone's concentration is needed there. Everyone has to play well. There is a lot of pressure on those who are good players. In that case, most of the time the result will not be good if those players are given extra pressure.

True, I still don't understand why people are talking so much about one or another player as if they were responsible for winning the Fifa cup.
In the case of Argentina, this is even more "relevant".

This year I'm very confident in Brazil, as they achieved extraordinary results in the rankings playing with a team of new players, still unknown and with different formations in each game, all without Neymar.

A good team is the one who will win this cup, I hope.
2248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino can play a role in changing fortune? on: July 06, 2022, 12:29:30 AM
[...]

This is really a good success of smith as well as FedEx with the favor of Casino. By the way, i am not sharing it to encourage anyone to the casino.

Yes, success stories really exist, I don't think anyone ever questioned that.
But something that was not clear in his account is: Was Smith a professional player and did he rely on his skills to win or did he just rely on luck?
But regardless of this answer, statistics and facts prove that it is much easier to lose money than to win, and this should be clear in everyone's mind when betting, and know that they must set a limit.
Smith walked into the casino with $5000 knowing that this was his limit, and I believe this amount would not be missed by anyone who owns FedEx.
2249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can change of environment have an effect on gambling addiction. on: July 06, 2022, 12:18:53 AM
You will agree with me that society and the environment can have a great influence on the lifestyle of every individual, you often can find yourself doing, or being involved in that activity that almost everyone is involved with in that your locale as a result of influence. Now considering someone who is a gambling addict, is there any possibility of him/her becoming better if they are relocated to another environment or society where people around are not involved in gambling?

Can someone still develop the habit of gambling and become an addict even though no one around gambles?

So, I believe that the people an individual lives with greatly influence someone's lifestyle and habits.
First, because nobody likes to do something alone, human beings are very social and tend to get involved with what people around them do.

So my answer is "yes"... I believe this addiction can be drastically reduced in a country or region where people don't engage in gambling.
2250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: July 03, 2022, 10:58:04 PM
England will have to play a lot better to become world champions. It may not say everything, but they lost 0-4 at home to Hungary last in the Nations League? I don't see countries like Brazil and France doing that anytime soon. And then also at home. I think England made a bad and strange choice with the appointment of Southgate as coach. Little experience and no big club trained. England is not just a country to coach. They should have asked someone else. Would Ferguson not be interested? I think this World Cup is going to be a huge disappointment for England.

Well... Brazil has already lost 7-0 in a game for the FIFA World Cup, it's something that every Brazilian like me would like to forget, but there's no way... it's something that will be forever marked in the minds of everyone who watched it. that shame.

Anyway, Brazilian football hasn't lost its credibility, I myself believe that the Brazilian team has many chances to win this world cup.
So, I also wouldn't take the merit of England because of a single game in which they were bad, that happens even with the best teams.

@alegotardo = faltam 252 merits p/ chegar em Legendary

(Não é clickbait) on: July 03, 2022, 10:39:21 PM

2253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Brasileirão 2022 - Brazilian Championship Serie A on: July 03, 2022, 10:34:08 PM
Internacional failed to beat Ceara, but still both teams scored as I expected... Atletico Mineiro also beat the underdog, although I thought Juventude would not be able to score... Today I expect Cuiaba to win over Avai, although they have different positions in the standings...

So, Internacional and Ceará's game was quite tense and I disagree with the result of this game, firstly because Keiller went and took the ball as far as I saw it (I couldn't find the record to post here).

If Internacional had more time at the end of the first half, they would have won the comeback, as they were playing much better and putting a lot of pressure on Ceará.

Anyway... I see Intenacional growing in the Brasileirão, it's a shame he didn't start well from the beginning, but it's still possible to guarantee a good position in the championship.

Whoever was involved in the accident is said to be okay. But if you look back at that crash, it was actually a really hard crash, thrown upside down with more than 100 KM/H over the road surface. In fact, it's a miracle that he survived.
[...]

A miracle, yes?
I also believe that every person who practices a high-risk sport like F1 needs to have a lot of faith and believe that they will always have a God or guardian angel watching over their safety.
But I also attribute the fact that no one got hurt to technology, the Halo is a formidable feature that should have been invented many years ago, and perhaps saved the lives of other pilots who are no longer with us today.
It's amazing to see that Guanyu Zhou came out of this accident without serious injuries, if it was a few years ago he might not have had this "miracle".

2257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Session That Lingers On Or Keep Staying On your Mind on: July 02, 2022, 02:13:53 AM
Anyone experienced or suffered from this, whether from winning or from losing where a particular gambling session keeps staying in your mind and you'll having sleeplessness thinking about that particular session over and over again, the same bet keeps repeating over and over again and you keep asking yourself what if you do the opposite.
I'm glad I overcome this and I see to it now that whenever I'm login off to casinos I'm playing I will not think about it whether I lose or win.

At this stage I will also spend hours and hours.
The game from the drums up and myself when the other types of head effort are ready for the game, thinking ahead what my strategy or how many other types of work you can use to try to put in front of me or my strategy .

He managed to kick this addiction on his own, but I know how cruel he is and understands like weights who say they have problems with gambling addictions.
For those who can't stop thinking about the game, the best alternative is to seek psychological support from a professional.
2258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 02, 2022, 02:08:29 AM
Totally Agreed, 100m€ is too much, and Chelsea want not only one center-defender but two. I think Kalidou Koulibaly is more likely to be signed since Napoli only ask for 45m€ and his performance last season was fine. The other defender is definitely for a sub, chelsea still got Thiago Silva, so maybe they will just signed a young player.

the transfer market is getting crazier... tottaly crazier.
I don't want to belittle DeLigt's talent, but charging 100 million euros for a defender is absurd.
I believe that this amount was only offered because Juventus simply do not intend to sell it, but if someone really wants to insist, they will have to ask for the amount they want.
I'm sure Chelsea will be able to find good alternatives for a much lower price, and I also agree that Jules Koundé is a good candidate, if this is a real possibility of signing.
2259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inherited gambling on: July 02, 2022, 02:02:11 AM
-Will the addiction be worse than someone who picked up the habit?

Then...
I even believe that certain habits of ours may have some hereditary relationship, but the percentage of this must be minimal compared to the family life and friendships that a person acquires from others in their day-to-day.

I also believe that blaming their parents for the addiction is an exaggeration if we consider only the genetic issue, but if the person has a parent or close relative person who is already addicted.... then yes, he can be blamed for your addiction too.

Qual será a próxima??
