2241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino bonus is it worth it? on: December 24, 2022, 11:25:58 PM
Chasing implies you dont perhaps intend to bet, if you were going to bet anyway then its quite fair to claim the bonus.  If you bet almost reluctantly then perhaps its not the ideal betting strategy you employ, if depends how comfortable you are when playing I think as to how your luck might also proceed.   Claiming a bonus is just like a offer to shop you might get when going shopping, dont buy what you dont want as they wont be a bargain.  If you get my reasoning on that level I think you know what I mean, its like a cashback but you have to be wanting to play anyway imo dont expect a bonus to right every wrong or change the luck especially, its just some cashback in effect for bothering to play there.
2242  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin December price on: December 24, 2022, 08:02:52 PM
Very sideways at the moment, because the moving average will meet the price eventually when it does this both 2 day and weekly averages are in the same place but roughly below BTC currently.    I dont think thats bullish more a lack of action leading to no signal, we are left then with the 50 day average and its convergence to price which takes place over a longer time period.   Presently its above us just about, I imagine it would be something of a ceiling but no particular reaction wont make me bullish even if we drift above it for the rest of this year.
Its going to become harder to call under these movements, if the 50 week slides underneath the 200 week it will have become the first time since 2016 to do so.  I heard a prediction of a 4 year lapse to any bullish movement in BTC, thats possible so long as Dollar index stays high and I might take that as my wider guide to if we shall be positive or negative.   There isnt enough time left in this year to state with any confidence for BTC, its neutral to negative till substantially  proven otherwise.

Every game costs, plain as that just like the video games I used to go on there was no cash element there you just had to pay to play.  Theres always a fee involved in the bet, unless you manage to bet vs some rich friends who are good to pay out no matter what, then every bet has a cost to setup and run the game.   I dont place a bet unless I have formed a strong opinion, at most I'll just put down a placer if I really cannot decide and come back to see if I really want to enter fully or not.
Number one reasoning in many purchases, money spent anywhere is people are bored; stepping back and doing something else is not often the choice.  I think its time/energy invested, if I spent enough time to consider the bet maybe two football teams or whoever then I probably want to place a bet to see if I was right.    Thats why everyone should keep a budget for money to bet that day, if you win you have more to place and if you run short cut the bet in half to spread it or come back another day because your luck is not in.

December 13th we met the 50 day average and moved downwards, its right there again about to clip BTC price action so possibly price does diverge before year end and its not holidays globally so it can happen.   I just dont think it'll be a higher volume event especially.
Probably the odds on bet range hits correctly but also I didnt think I wanted to bet that this time.  I just bet FUN price even though thats even slimmer bets its less likely to alter in the remaining days till NYE
2244  Economy / Economics / Re: Nigeria Naira notes and its security features-- CBN on: December 23, 2022, 11:59:40 PM
It does briefly reset the problem of counterfeit notes but since printing technology is catching up every day they were required to introduce many variations like holographic or similar hard to make features.  If they have not done this there is little hope of defeating the copying of common currency by those who can print.
My guess is the lower value of the notes might be on purpose as it means  more effort to duplicate and bypass the quality measures for what is not a large value per note, its less attractive in the margin vs difficulty to copy.   Euro large value notes for example were withdrawn as were being often used in criminal deals for compact transfer.
2245  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: December 23, 2022, 11:51:54 PM
At present DCA only works if you ignore that the price is descending roughly inline with the 50 day average.  It might be too soon to buy without question except as a longterm strategy, anyone who hopes to buy only a few times  even a dozen should be waiting for stability and the start of a ramp in price.  DCA is fine but presently it should only be started if you can continue, this year and for a few after so really long term.  Dont over do it shorter term, be sure to last as will the larger swings of the market also.
2246  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | Sportsbook & Casino 🎲⚽ on: December 22, 2022, 11:57:14 PM
Theres little point posting negatively blindly like that, people wont automatically believe anything because its common to threaten sites I've seen it many times.   You need to go make a proper thread in the correct section and detail the problem, try to get a response and then base the complaint off that full detail and the community will thank you if its genuine because nobody wants that to be a problem for players.

One of the sub forums from here and/or give proper detail screenshot etc. if possible : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=8.0
2247  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where to play poker with crypto ? on: December 22, 2022, 11:46:46 PM
Always interesting to hear where people are going to play especially from this forum because we can organize games even informally would be cool.  I only play casually nothing big, at one time I had a dozen or more free tickets to play on Betcoin I think it was because I was on their sig campaign but they changed ownership and I lost those because I was not actively playing, Iam only casual but still would be good to have a game Smiley
2248  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price 2023 on: December 22, 2022, 09:55:46 PM
Price is just stalling and wavering at the moment, I dont see price action doing so much over holidays is many main market trading exchanges.  Of course BTC never stops trading no matter the day or hour but the volume does in effect vary and alter when the most significant prices are likely to be laid down.
2249  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predicted $16k by EOY in April on: December 22, 2022, 08:18:07 PM
16k or similar level makes sense from peaks of 2019 I think more then a trend now especially.     We are just drifting sideways mostly, not pushed upwards or down and at present we lost the 2 day average while also the weekly average converges with this measure.
More important is the long term volume from years such as 2019 hence why your April prediction was fair at the time for a bottom price rather then 20k which I dont think was ever properly traded by the majority of the market outside of exchange orders hence making it weak.

Tiny placeholder bets is possible, no excuse for not betting every day with some opinion for events etc.    Might as well put down a bet to see the time bonus  even if you arent certain exactly.

I was trying to decide on the FUN token bet, it is quite certain but so are the odds at present.  The only thing that makes me hesitate a bit is that if FUN has returned to very possible support volume on the long term chart.    The price it now trades down to is the old peak prices prior to the take over by this website, its possible its an area of significance or not.    Just gives me some slight caution as its easier to launch from a harder area when found by price action.   I do expect sideways for this month most likely.
2251  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will The FED pivot? on: December 21, 2022, 07:03:26 PM
Crypto went up on the BOJ moves because it lowered the dollar slightly I think that it gives some weight to the possible continued decline in Dollar index since YEN is part of that.  The larger part on FED actions is they will never meet or counter inflation properly, the intended course is to weaken Dollar every year by at least 2% which adds up to alot.  They will more then achieve that mark, we are not presently, past or future anywhere near to hard monetary standards.   Long term the idea of pivot or not isnt going to be significant, its only balancing speculative sentiment at the moment by some fear of harder money but that shadow will never land.
2252  Economy / Economics / Re: America's biggest vegetable growers fought for water, then the water ran out on: December 20, 2022, 04:26:33 AM
Is the land in Florida unsuitable for crops in the way that California is, they both get alot of sun right but Florida has alot of water also or maybe some factor is off to explain this.   Cali is basically a desert, Im not sure I agree with trying to alter the basic lay of the land like its a fight when just going to naturally better land might be the answer.   Obviously nothing about modern farming is that natural anymore but theres a limit to what works well, is it for Government to determine success or free market dynamics.
Desalination says the issue is about energy ultimately, solar panels and the improvement in efficiency there might be their best bet.
2253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fees on Dormant Accounts on Crypto Gambling Platforms on: December 19, 2022, 11:59:50 PM
No chance to recover for me, unfortunately it pays to read the small print and I was asleep on that aspect.   As per the advice of this forum, its best not to leave unused balances on random sites.   Obviously I do have balances on various sites I use and a few I no longer use but usually its a small amount and I cant complain too much.    I think I hesitated here because  the site had a withdrawal fee and I was waiting to see if I could collate it to avoid paying the fee more then once across months, unfortunately I then forgot and I've lost it altogether.   I'll have to live and learn from the loss.
2254  Economy / Economics / Re: FTX was engaged in a massive, years-long fraud: US prosecutors on: December 19, 2022, 11:50:52 PM
Stealing and fraud is hard to get around, even if it was somehow legal in one sense it would still amount to the same thing of deliberate deception.   They'll bring racketeering charges against him if they have to, theres no way he is getting off altogether with it.   The only real chance if  determined to this aspiration rather then accidentally being awful was to disappear into the jungles of a country with no diplomatic links to USA, not often pulled off but theres no law to excuse redirecting a balance sheet of billions.
2255  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin high prediction 2023? on: December 19, 2022, 11:42:17 PM
Your simplest answer to this question is to look up the halvening time table, its not precise but varies slightly and then after that the free market has its own wandering in price and sentiment to consider.   I would not guess 2023 for a recovery beyond the 200 day average, not in a sustained stable way.   I think we are required to rebuild and remake the price and path upwards many times over, too many broken bridges at present to be simply positive.
In the past movement the price above 20k was clear, now it strewn with debris to obstruct and delay us constantly.
2256  Economy / Economics / Re: FTX was engaged in a massive, years-long fraud: US prosecutors on: December 19, 2022, 11:11:22 PM
I blame the system more then the people exactly, its a given that people will be at some point either corrupt or inept does the difference really matter in terms of failure it seems quite inevitable to occur.   Im surprised it was there from the start because surely he had to establish trust and be checked out by any bank or related lending, investment company to qualify and it makes all parties look bad to have been involved.
The law aspect can be stated for or against, because surely he has a good defence team ready to reduce any liability he might have.  If they say fraud it does seem very serious especially when its billions misdirected but knowing law doesn't make them automatically any more moral people then others.

2257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slow down if you want to recover your losses on: December 19, 2022, 10:56:04 PM
I agree slow is best, spread bets over time and ideally budget to bet over a set timescale not be tempted to continually win back the money.   Last the duration rather then aim for a specific monetary target.    Its soon trouble like a carrot on a stick to aim for a set magic monetary figure, it tends not to work that way which leads to upset and further moves away the prospect of a successful strategy in the game, the game plays you is the trap to avoid Shocked

France could as well have won it if Argentina would have not recovered

They were both well capable not just in a singular way but in this ability to bounce back under fire which not every 'great' team achieves.  Thats what made it a great final, not all of them are.  Im still not a fan of when matches go to the penalty option as a decider, in the end I would say they were equal of course it cant be left like that but the game is on the field not via penalty really.

BTC price this month seems likely to end quite dreary, subdued not trending or in great failure just a slow drift, towards the rocks maybe :p its unclear I think its now in a range again boring but maybe for the best.  Time is a correction not just price alone.
2259  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low will BTC's market price go? on: December 19, 2022, 08:54:29 PM
Its not really the low price Iam worried about to be honest, thats just the shop dressing for the window shoppers to look on and be impressed or concerned about.   Price is the final result of all kinds of things including just simple human perception regardless of underlying strength or weakness, it often seems as we rise in price when we probably shouldn't or there is just no good reason vice versa we can go lower and it can be incorrect.
Duration is more of a real consideration, just whats the time length for this lull.   If people knew a certain price objective at a certain time then you see far greater confidence, its like herding sheep I think.  We have uncertainty ongoing so the price is almost secondary to that overlying influence some it is external imo.
2260  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low will BTC's market price go? on: December 19, 2022, 04:45:57 PM
Until Dollar index trades under 103 we are probably in a holding loop as far as BTC price is concerned.   Lower or higher during this time doesnt matter too much, its bouncing around a box contained by the larger situation which is the world greatly favors Dollar right now.  Even after Dollar weakens a little and markets become more speculative there is a second stage of support, previously Dollar was trending down over multiple years and markets were very free and expansive but not currently.
