Yes for sure it was not enugh for fnatic first map they lost so hard  Roll Eyes, second was a better butt no.

Fnatic played really well in 2nd but they have lot to work now. Still it was a good journey for them to make it to Play offs and it has been quite some time since I have seen them play this well so in a way I am glad they are making a recovery now.

in 18h come the next match Gambit Esports vs Vitality that gone be a very cool match the world master and the best team from france.
And OG vs NiP im think OG will win this match.

Gambit are enjoying a good form right now and Vitality has lost their form they used to enjoy. I think it will be very hard for Vitality to win in this match but sure wouldn't rule them out as long as Zywoo is there.

OG vs NIP, I am kinda confused. Both teams surprises me very much so kinda keep my mouth shut on this one.

In 30 minutes Start the second match Team Liquid vs fnatic, Liquid is a bit better this jear and have high chance to win.

Well honestly both new players mezii and ALEX have been quite good so far for Fnatic. Right now a good rally going on between both teams at Dust 2 where the match has pushed off to second OT. Liquid are already one map up but Fnatic are trying hard to still keep their hopes alive.

This season there will be a title fight between Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea. Moreover, Tottenham and Liverpool are strong enough.

This will be a good season with all good transfers and all. League is filled with more star players now, and teams have filled in some more potential players yet to shine. It will be a great season I feel it. Spurs have made some good signings and I think Nuno is gonna use them really well. He is gonna manage them better than Mourinho IMO. Liverpool haven't made much signings but do they need anything? I don't think there is any desperate need now.

You forgot Leicester, West Ham in title race. They sure are underdogs and even I think it is a difficult road for them but they sure are gonna upset some big teams.
2244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: September 08, 2021, 03:49:33 PM
It was Alex Ferguson, the quote was something like 'Attack wins you games, defence wins you titles'.
It was Mourinho too. He is happy to win 10 match with a single goal for each rather than win 1 match with 10 goals and the rest 9 matches without 3 points.

Yeah classic Mourinho. I still recall the match between Spurs and City from last season where they scored one goal and went into full defence mode. After the game in post match conference he was asked question what does he think about Man City keeping the possession to which he replied that they can take the ball home if they want, we took the 3 points. Eventually it's the points that matters the most so just avoid dropping points.

Crazy playoff match between NIP and mousesports. Both teams really played well. It all came down to Inferno where NIP showed great defense winning all 8 rounds to advance to the next stage. Ropz did a lot for the team but that wasn't enough for mousesports to advance. Still mousesports played reall well throughout the series.

Is this true? I read the news about Van De Beek's desire to leave in the summer. Everton are reportedly interested in his ability. Maybe it's because of Ole's less playing time that he also wants to leave.

Source

He'd be smart to leave, United brought him when they thought Pogba will leave the club. He did not play a lot, he's not a holding midfielder and he's best in positions occupied by Pogba and Fernandes.

Everton would be a great club to get his career back on track, he had some great performances with Ajax and is still young enough to get back at a top level if he proves himself in a smaller club.

_______________________

In other news, Foden is about to sign a new, increased 6-year contract with City.

It's about whether player believes in manager or not and according to https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2021/09/06/donny-van-de-beek-says-needs-trust-ole-gunnar-solskjaers-word/ he does in Ole plans when he was brought in Manchester United. Yeah it's a bit frustrating when you make move to a good team and yet they don't use the player but it depends from player to player. Still wouldn't be surprised if he leaves Man United.

Now that's what fans must realize that there are other players who have the ability at the moment Barca have quality players in every line but they haven't been able to prove it yet this season should be the right time to prove unfortunately not seen in full maybe still need a few more games.

Barcelona has a lot of talented players. But they are not experienced. Even if he is talented but not experienced, he cannot be expected to perform well. If you can make players like Fati or Dembele properly, they will be the star players of the future. They are very talented. They need proper guidelines now.

I agree with this. The situation of Barcelona right now is worse but they have lot of good young talented players. They however sold some this transfer window but despite they have upcoming stars I feel like Fati, Pedri which could become a proper star if trained and mentored properly.

They have some good experienced players and they can help young players develop. Also Koeman are giving them chances as well. Still kinda feels like he is kinda biased with favouring players from his country. I am sure there will be others feeling same like me.

Inevitably, Allegri now has to rely on Paulo Dybala and Chiesa as a striker duo on the front lines of Juventus, because it is impossible to get new players this season because the transfer market is officially closed.

Dybala and Chiesa are great talent in my opinion. Chiesa is a young talent but yet has road to go to become a great player. IMO he has everything to become a world class player. As for Dybala he has been dealing with injuries and all but I also think he is a great player. Also don't they have strikers like Morata? They could do a formation same like Roma usually plays in. Also apart from Morata, they also brought in Moise Kean from Everton on loan who had a great season at PSG last season so I don't think they are running out of options here.

Big hopes hung on Ronaldo hopefully he can realize all the expectations of Man United fans and management, the pressure will definitely be huge on him if Man United can't get maximum results in the EPL or UCL, even though if Man United is not successful enough it's definitely not his fault but also the role of other players and also coaches who are good at or don't apply tactics in every match.
I'm not really sure that they will win many titles this season, Ronaldo coming may add motivation and confidence but not necessarily trophies or titles. They have a lot of quality players, but to be honest I have some doubts about Ole's quality. Because I don't think he has much experience. Then if in the middle of the season they perform badly, I think Manchester United should immediately find another coach. He has spent a lot of money but no title has been awarded yet by Ole.

Not necessary that it will for sure bring in some trophies but they are right now have become strong enough to give a good competition to other favourites in winning league titles or CL. Wouldn't talk about Ole much but Man United usually have tendency to lose some easy matches surprisingly. It has been like just one match with new signings and changes going on so I think its better to judge them after some games has gone by like 4-5 say.

As for Ole sacking, unless there is some unpleasing results that wouldn't happen.

But even if the result loses to Norwich, Arsenal's director will definitely take time what is stated in the Twitter even this will definitely trigger from fans disappointed because the director can't do it quickly, but what is expected is not always bad it should be against Norwich can win and this is still above Arsenal's ability.
I'm sure Arteta will try his best in this match with Norwich.

Yeah fans pressure is what made Emery sack earlier so wouldn't be much surprised if Arteta also gets sacked. This season we have domes some transfers. I am not sure it is good but if it doesn't pays out then there will be lot of pressure from fans and that will lead to sack of coach after repeated losses.

Right now Arteta main focus should be to win these two easy matches in upcoming weeks.

A friend telling me they already agreed contracts with Antonio Conte.

Conte managing Arsenal is I would say near to impossible unless he wants to uplift a team from his difficult time but mostly reputed managers turn away from managing teams like this. He was managing Inter and won Serie A last season and yet he left the team as it was his own decision. You see a manager like that is very very unlikely to manage a team like Arsenal right now.
2251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: September 05, 2021, 02:36:22 PM
We are getting close to a critical match for Mikel Arteta which is going to be against Norwich. It is very crucial for Arsenal to get a win in this match. Otherwise, I'm seeing it for sure now that the club will fire him. They are much more capable of winning this match compared to Norwich. They just need to gather their focus and do what is expected from them. And I expect at least one goal from Aubameyang.

According to Arsenal director they have a plan and they need time for it to start showing results. Also like I earlier said, yeah results have been pretty bad for Arsenal but the transfers they have done this window they are planning something and if this doesn't does well then for sure they will sack Arteta.

Wow Team Liquid win strong yesterday first and second map
and Gambit win vs Entropiq the first map the had some trouble butt on the second map they play better and win too.
Ninjas in pyjamas vs Furia Esports lool NIP lost first map furia win close, on the second map NiP win so close, and the third map Furia win strong.

Yeah Liquid were good but well opponents were Team One so not someone I would call a real test.

NIP losing that match has put them in bit bad situation as next up against them are Gambit and Gambit are wiping everyone out. It's a very hard task for NIP but not impossible. As for Furia they are up against Team Liquid and compared to Nip Gambit , this is bit easy for Furia as compared to NIP's game. Both matches are important for NIP and Furia so we have a very good matches coming up today in coming hours.

Norwich are a good team but had a bad star. Their defense have been a worrying factor for them so I think it will be a bit easy for Arsenal to score goals. But also Norwich are good in attack as well.

Norwich was kinda decent in the championship but so far they have scored only 1 goal on 3 matches, that 1 goal better than Arsenal that currently has no goal at all. I'd love to watch Arsenal win against Norwich but on the same time I think taking Norwich double chance or either Draw would be much better because there is a good probability that it is going to be a draw between those two

Yeah if you want to take good risk and want a good payout then draw is the best out of all the lines. I think it will be a good goal fiesta from both sides but nothing can be said for sure..it's just feeling you know. Double chance is also a good line to bet on.

It's best to stay put while on betting on Arsenal as they are currently setting things up and it will take time so just until then stay put.
2254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: September 04, 2021, 04:33:31 PM
lol at trust Arsenal at your own risk Tongue
Although the very bad start, I think gunners gonna win this game, ok maybe get 1 point as worst scenario? but definitely I will not count a lot on them for a bet before they prove themselves in a couple of games..

Norwich are a good team but had a bad star. Their defense have been a worrying factor for them so I think it will be a bit easy for Arsenal to score goals. But also Norwich are good in attack as well. Cantwell is a player to keep an eye on who can feed some good balls to Pukki and with Arsenal's flop defense it is possible them might score some. I would say BTTS is a good bet here but still it is very risky. I think things might change for either of the team.
2255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 04, 2021, 02:55:44 PM
PSG's strategy is simple to understand actually. They are aiming to make use of Mbappe as much as possible in his last season there. They have brought Messi to the team and they want Neymar-Messi-Mbappe trio to play in the Champions League. Their main goal is to win this title in this season. If they are successful on it, then it will be worth it for sure. Otherwise, they might regret it but still I don't think that they really care about his going for free. PSG are one of the richest clubs and that's why they don't care about the money.

They have been going unlucky so far. Last two seasons , they were have been unlucky with CL and last season they also weren't able to win the Ligue 1. IMO PSG wants to go all in and get results this time. They are building a good squad with experienced players which not only makes a good squad but also leads to development of other players who can follow these experienced players guidance.

There is an interesting news right now is that Serge Aurier and Spurs has decided to terminate contract and right now Arsenal are very interested in Serge Aurier. I think it will be a great signing for Arsenal as we do need someone with good physique who can be helpful in defense.
So Spurs didn't agree about a possible transfer with offers from different teams from different leagues (EPL, Ligue 1...) then they decide to end the contract? Did I miss something here? Otherwise getting a defender for free is always a good news for gunners.. Hopefully he can add something there once he join the team.

Yeah true that it is very hard but maybe they are having too much player in defense now and want to transfer out players who don't think they would use this season much. Still I haven't hear any news linking to tensions between Aurier and Spurs. Honestly surprised me a bit.

So, Ronaldo will wear the no. 7 shirt again after all. Cavani gave it to him, he's taking no. 21 that he's wearing for Uruguay.

I thought that the rules do not permit kit changes after the season already began but apparently there's a catch - you can, as long as you refund all the kit buyers.

Quote
Premier League rules stipulate any mid-season change of number requires the club to provide replacements to any fans who have paid to have the name and number of the previous occupant on their back.

I'm linking a full article from the Guardian: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2021/sep/02/cristiano-ronaldo-reclaims-manchester-uniteds-no-7-shirt-from-edinson-cavani

Yeah it is but wonder what kind of special treatment is being given to Cristiano Ronaldo. Reports were that United requested Premier League to allow the jersey no. change and in the end they allowed that.

Still anyway jersey no. doesn't matters that much. Even if he didn't got this season he would have got it next season for sure.
2259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: September 02, 2021, 05:23:41 PM
It’s Ronaldo, there’s no way he’ll be on the bench. He’ll go straight into the team, he looks after himself better than pretty much any other player. He may have lost some pace as he’s 36 but he’ll play in Utd’s next game I think.

Yeah his reputation is what based on I think Ole will start him in next match. He still got skills and lot of experience in striker position and with United struggling with strikers not being able to score, I think he is very likely gonna start. I am looking forward to how penalty and freekicks role will be distributed among Fernandes and Ronaldo.

There is lot of questions right now on how things will get adjusted in United and that is what why I can't wait to see their next match.

United's attack is frightening, but DM is still impotent; to compete for the trophy, you need a superior defensive team, not attacking options.

Talking about DM positions there are four players in Man United who at least once played which are - Pogba, McTominay, Fred, Matic and Van De Beek. Pogba is a good as in attacking midfielder so if you want to utilize properly I think he should be given chance up the pitch maybe a bit in centre. Van De Beek is also should be used as in CM or in attacking midfielder but Ole has preferred to sit him out. Fred and Matic are ok but they lose a lot of possession but now for Matic I can understand age factor but Fred needs to develop as in DM role. Out of all these DM's McTominay is what I will categorize as a best DM option in their squad who wins the balls, if mistakes tries to recover and is what I would say very-committed when in play.

United defense and mids sometime does mistakes from time to time. Their win against Leeds was really a good team play but honestly they sometimes does such mistakes which makes them concede goals and lose matches. With these new signings hope they can fix in some of their problems.
2260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: September 02, 2021, 01:15:09 PM
Maybe he starts this game on the bench. Or do you think he will be starting soon?
He won't spend much time training with the team. It's not that it's necessary for him, but it's always good.

It is possible that he might start on bench but I feel like he is gonna start because United right now needs a proper striker and someone in form and I think they are gonna right out start with Ronaldo in starting line up. Could be that Ole is gonna start like Martial or Greenwood at strike and later is gonna substitute him for Ronaldo. Still I think he is definitely gonna start in first team in 1-2 weeks.
