good ideas ! a CRISP for travel to Aruba LOL  Grin maybe mix such concepts

Hey looks like price finish 50% uptrend wanna be stabiliced between 5 -6 k each Dnotes if broken again go easy to 7k or 9k each Dnotes , Lots of miners heard the Dnotes uptrend sound, difficult go up arround 150,, (ballbreaking for little miners) let see if new ones are holders or dumpers.

Buying support for DNotes remained very strong. What a difference a week makes. I remember just a couple of weeks ago I felt quite frustrated, on a number of occasions, watching DNotes being sold below 4000 sat. despite good press coverage and new projects launched.  Historically, DNotes has consistently been creating higher highs and higher lows. When a good opportunity is missed, it gone and not likely to come back. Over the long term DNotes has significant potential for further appreciation, based on its strategic growth path. 6,000 sat seems to be the current line of resistance. We have never seen such strong support before. The odds are that it will break that and make 6,250 to 6,750 the new trading range. Of course, that is just my personal opinion.

A thought for the future,

I'm sitting here at my desk in the museum this morning watching the freezing rain and ice thinking about closing for the day when it hit me that there is a whole class of projects that DNotes my want to be involved with in the not so distant future. Aside from our paid staff, we have a very large volunteer workforce that provides manpower for special events and functions. In reality, we would be hard pressed to present most of the programs and learning events without them. At first I thought it would be nice to have a CR.I.S.P. for these volunteers but, I think something new and more encompassing would be in order, but a CR.I.S.P. would be a start.

These people, on average, put in hundreds of hours or more a year supporting the facility. While we provide food and accolades for their hard work, there is no real fund to support THEIR causes. Perhaps some sort of Volunteer Appreciation Fund that could be setup by individual agencies that use volunteer help to offset the cost of providing perks, food, get togethers, and assistance to these groups. I haven't thought it out fully yet but, there are hundreds of things that could be provided to these folks if money were available without endangering their volunteer status. And, it would expose more mature people to digital currency.

Something to think about in the future, volunteers are a huge group of people not really serviced by anyone other than the agencies they volunteer for. While this includes Fire, EMS, ALS, and Emergency Management, it would really be for those not often thought about such as hospitals, schools, museums, and just about every public agency and many private companies as well.

Just wanted to get it out there before my mind moved on to something else...  Smiley  (Like a nice vacation in Aruba)

It is an excellent idea, RJF. I am glad you have it well defined and now on record. It can certainly be a future charity project. At this point, our plate is full. We will be best served focusing on what we have on hand and other projects we have committed to for the balance of 2015. Following the launch of CRISP For Students we will be rolling CRISP For Employee Incentive Benefits scheduled to be launched during the week of May 18, 2015. The last one, CRISP For Charities, will follow sometime in late June or July, 2015.

I was going to post this sooner, but ended up spending the whole day several hours drive away from home! But here we are... This will be the first post of many.

CRISP for Students

Hello fellow DNotes community members! As you may be aware, the DNote's team plan on rolling out CRISP for students the week beginning march the 30th. I would like to ask the community for feedback and ideas about what you think would make a great program that provides incentives for young students to enter the cryptosphere, and save their DNotes with the goal that they will provide an escape from rising student loan debt. The first objective is to give interested students the ownership/user experience of DNotes without having to purchase them. The second objective is to provide a large variety of bounty offerings to students where they may participate in projects that will further the DNotes strategic vision (like marketing etc). .........................

All excellent ideas! I think the emphasis should shift slightly to High School and that age group as well as college and graduate school. Good saving practices start while we are young. Perhaps even design a program for parents to setup plans while kids are in K through 8. I know how hard it is to save if you don't start early. I worked my way through school and it wasn't easy. So how about targeting the following:

1. K through 8 parent directed plan, get kids used to saving money the new way

2. High School specific plan, student and/or parent directed

3. College/Grad School plan self directed with parent option.

Also, a concerted, professional effort should be developed and aimed directly at colleges, universities and graduate schools. Perhaps they could somehow be involved at a level that provides matching funds or donations. Schools should make this info available to prospective entrants and assist them as they do now with traditional loans and and other financial instruments.

And, perhaps unique or a first for this plan, get some charities involved! Gates and others like him talk a good game about how digital currency is a good thing, lets see if they will put some money where they mouths are. A envision a "matching funds" type of engagement. Especially for those students taking a technology track. Kinda like a crypto scholarship for tech with DNotes.

Just some thoughts...

Those are excellent suggestions. You just got ahead of my post which answered some of your comments.
We like K through 8 to sign up using CRISP for Kids through CryptoMoms. We plan to start an awareness campaign for CryptoMoms soon. I strongly encourage our lady stakeholders to message me if they like to help out CryptoMoms. We have a lot going on. Community support and participation is becoming increasingly important.

Thanks, TeeGee.  Excellent post. I strongly encourage our student shakeholders to participate and help out in any way possible. Others who have family members or friends who are students may want help introduce this program to those students. Although our initial targets are university and college students, all students are welcome to sign up for this program. As always, we roll out our projects in controlled small scale so that they can be fine tuned and improved before we launch a major campaign. Your participation, comments, and suggestions are invaluable and well appreciated. Thank you.

Interesting indeed but USD may not be such a good safe haven. An increase in US interest rate could have serious ramifications

There are reasons for concern and here is why a diversified investment portfolio should include 10% high risk investment with high potential returns. There are no assurances that Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency is the right choice for the high risk component but more professional investors are taking a serious look.

“It gets scarier. National debt interest rates are historically low at the moment – around 2.5 percent.  When they rise, interest payments will rise exponentially thanks to the wonders of compounding rates. Say interest rates rise to 5 percent – still low by historical standards. That means we will owe nearly $1 trillion a year in interest alone. That’s about two-thirds of what the federal government brings in each year in total income tax revenue!”

KITCHEN TABLE ECONOMICS

The U.S. is Now $18 Trillion in Debt
What are the Ramifications?

DECEMBER 5, 2014

Last week, the national debt surpassed $18 trillion. That’s $124,000 for each American household or $56,378 per individual. It took the country 205 years to accumulate its first trillion dollars of debt in 1981, but has only taken us 403 days to accumulate our most recent trillion. It’s hard to even think about numbers that big; if you were to count to a million it would take one week; if you wanted to count to a trillion it would take 31 thousand years.

Like with our personal debt, there may actually be some advantages to taking on debt. The flatscreen TV and Christmas presents we purchase with debt likely increase our standard of living and wellbeing. But this short term gain is often paid for with long term pain. And the currency of this pain is interest.

Interest is the price of debt. So, when we buy a TV on a payment plan, we are actually buying two things: the TV and the debt that goes with it. While a few extra dollars spent on interest each month may be worth it to see our favorite football players in HD, too much of our income spent interest can seriously reduce our quality of life because we must forgo other purchases to pay for it.

This is the point that the country has reached with its interest on the national debt.
Last year, the U.S. spent $430 billion on interest payments alone. This means that every year, tax payers are spending $3,500 just on interest payments. This is money that isn’t going to pay for roads, bridges, education, medical research or defense.

It gets scarier. That’s about two-thirds of what the federal government brings in each year in total income tax revenue!

Fewer services and higher taxes – Uncle Sam’s spendthrift ways could end up hurting us all.

Is there a project roadmap or timeline that we can see somewhere?

No, not to the extent of a published business plan VC (Venture Capital) typically expects to see. We only provide strategic directions and as a rule do not provide details until the project becomes a certainty or about to be launched. This was a very strict rule the first eight months and, in fact, has been somewhat relaxed to involve more community participation.

In our opinion publishing "impressive looking roadmap and timeline" is a major pitfall of our industry. We prefer to take a more conservative approach and focus on what we believe we can deliver over the near term with a high degree of certainty. This policy is central to our commitment in building trust and integrity.

CRISP For Students will be launched on the week of March 30, 2015. TeeGee must have been busy the last few days. I will be posting further details if we don't hear from him by tomorrow. I am extremely busy this weekend.

CRISP for Employee Benefits will be rolled out the week of May 18, 2015. Marc has already been working on it. I still owe him an initial write up to define the project.

CRISP For Charities launch date has not been fixed. I know that CryptoBrooker has already put a lot of efforts into it. This will be the most demanding and time consuming project that requires a lot of ground work. Typically, the final decision of charity organizations are made by the Board of Directors, often a time consuming and frustrating process. However, we consider this as a very important part of CRISP, though it could take years to achieve a meaningful result, especially in providing some relief to the unbanked population worldwide. End of June/July 2015 should be good.

My preferences-prioryties:

Total smartphone solution for all DNotes functionality including vault and #1 above.

i not like use cryptos like paymet processor but think is good marketing, but feel is more important CRYSP plans

1. DNotes Digital Currency Reaches Out To Include Everyday People In The Rewards Of Early Technology Investment

12. DNotes revolutionizes savings with its CR.I.S.P. for Retirement plan.

I know " el que mucho abarca poco aprieta" You know the proverb: Do not bite off more than you can chew --- Develop global name recognition. When people think "crypto" or "Bitcoin" now, they should simply think "DNotes" in the future. I Best CRISP plans over the world in all the times ---- Dnotes is first one that offer this cool service have an advantaje over rest of coins go bang it. Dnotes no make competition with other coins for maket space. Just for this can cooperating with all coins and use best services of each one. From there will be so easy go anywhere. but hell take time.

13. DNotes is the most stable digital cryptocurrency with history to prove it.

For payment procesor can use BitShares -- Creating an Asset with market peg associated to Dnotes you will have transactions to names in 10 seconds, and can be traded in distributed exchange market for free. For fast shop use this is fundamental, other comerces than cash run slow its good Dnotes paymet for them.

* Laws support will be interesting make a database bit a bit with this questions of legal inquires or benefits in each point, can found it in FAQS will be nice, some times people no care about cryptos for this reason .

Great job. Lots of great ideas. Keep them coming.

DNotes has been getting very strong support all day, more than I anticipated. Even the trading volume has been quite impressive. It still has room for further appreciation but don't expect it to go to the moon. Slow and steady is our preference and any new ground gained must be sustainable. We have to work even harder to ensure that we continue to build solid fundamental values. The pressure is on as DNotes get discovered by new investors.

It has been a stressful day and I am glad that we have been able to clear up a few things. Hopefully we all learned a little from it.  Sorry that Bitcoin has to go through that kind of losses. It is certainly a lesson learned for all of us. Together we will recover. I must add that we never doubted infovortice2013. His “English may be dangerous” to quote him, but he is a good man. I absolutely trust and respect him.

As I have said before, this is a tough industry and more challenging than anything else I have ever encountered in my 39 years as an entrepreneur in different industries. On average 80% of startups failed within the first two years. Unfortunately, in the cryptocurrency world I would venture to say that over 90% will fail. Be very selective and invest with caution. If you pick the right investment candidate there is the potential for high returns, but there are no assurances that you will.

We are mindful of those risks at DNotes and have positioned ourselves very differently to minimize those risks so that we can maximize our potential for high returns. We believe that to be successful in this business we have to do many things well. Being able to do one or two things exceptionally well while performing poorly in others is not good enough to be successful in this industry.

We must all work well together as a group in pursuit of our common goal, in the most productive and respectful manner possible. In my opinion, the destructive conduct in many coin communities has been a major contributor to their struggle for survival. As a reminder, at DNotes, our first rule of engagement is “Do not engage.” We always investigate every situation promptly to determine the best course of action.

Let us move on to the next project. The launching of CRISP For Students.

I agree most coins are dead or dumped hard, fed of of seeing coins die and dumped..I will be purchasing a few more DNOTES bags in a week or two when my budget is sorted.. I am just renewing my blog domain then will do a blog post for the CRISPS FOR RETIREMENT etc..  Al;so landlord sent builders in because we got bathroom leakages so having the builders around for a week is a bit tough on my nerves lol so bear with me..congrats yet again for stability and longevity in DNOTES..

Thanks, qiwoman2. Looking forward to your blog post. CryptoMoms one year Birthday is on Thursday April 16, 2015. Would you like to help out with a PR campaign? If you are interested, come up with some ideas and contact me by email when you have a chance. Thanks.

HOW WESTERN UNION RIPS YOU OFF AND BITCOIN DOESN’T

The most recent release of the Bitcoin Core walletallows the user to define the transaction fee they are willing to pay. The amount that a user is willing to pay does, in the end, affect the speed of their transactions. However, users who pay no fee at all are not necessarily going to be prevented from having their transactions confirmed. Liken it to a standby flight, but for currency.

As posted on Feb. 17, 2015:

CRISP is The Engine of Growth for DNotes and the Vehicle to Mass Acceptance of Digital Currency

With the new roll out of CRISP for Retirement, following CRISP for Kids this current family of two will be expanded to a family of five by June this year. More could be added later. Each of them has a mission of its own and a primary marketing target. The synergistic effect of them all, leveraging on the strength of each other, will deliver a powerful punch; the network effect with ever gathering strength. That will be the engine of growth for DNotes and the vehicle to mass acceptance of Digital Currency.

CRISP For Kids will be the pride of parents and grandparents for years to come and will be the flagship of CryptoMoms. Now that CryptoMoms has established a good foundation, we will soon be ready to step up a PR campaign to encourage women’s participation in digital currency. Director – Chase.  Primary target = women

CRISP For Retirement will have a general appeal to anyone who wants to supplement their underfunded individual retirement savings account with DNotes for high potential returns. Beyond that, it is our “foot in the door” to reach out to small business owners with revenue of $1 to $50 million. Our mission is to promote ownership of DNotes among small business owners who will be the drivers of mass merchant adoption of DNotes as a medium of exchange. Many winning strategies are being incorporated as part of our overall strategic plan.  Director – RJF. Primary target = small business owners.

CRISP For Students will initially focus on university and college students. It could rapidly spread to include younger students. Our mission is to grow the next generation of DNotes stakeholders and be a real solution to student loan crises. A dedicated website serving a wide variety of students needs is likely. This will include an online market place for students worldwide as well as special education projects and scholarship funds. Director – TeeGee. Primary target – students.

Stay tuned for more ……

This is an interesting article. I see this as a strong endorsement of digital currency than a threat. When would the Bank of England or our Central Bank be willing and able to kill the banks? That will not happen for many generations, if ever. Neither will digital currency completely replace fiat currency. While the bankers get even more confused by the day, let us stay the course and move on.

However, I am 100% in agreement with the headline:

Bitcoin revolution could be the next internet, says Bank of England

The Bank of England has unveiled analysis of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin that suggests electronic money could cause a tectonic shift in the payments industry

By Peter Spence, Economics Correspondent

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/currency/11434904/Bitcoin-revolution-could-be-the-next-internet-says-Bank-of-England.html

The arrival of electronic currencies could revolutionise the way Britons pay for goods and services, in much the same way as the internet shook up how we access information, the Bank of England has said.

Cashless forms of payment like the cryptocurrency Bitcoin “potentially combined with mobile technology, may reshape the mechanisms for making secure payments”, the central bank said.
While traditional currencies, including the pound, are backed by central banks, new alternatives have allowed individuals to exchange directly without any such third party.

The Bank could itself create digital currencies, making the new system available as it does with banknotes today. Research would be necessary to develop the technology “without compromising a central bank’s ability to control its currency and secure the system against systemic attack”, the Bank said.
The idea of countries launching their own electronic currencies has gained pace in recent weeks, as Yanis Varoufakis became Greece’s newest finance minister. The Greek-born economist has previously suggested that “the technology of Bitcoin, if suitably adapted, can be employed profitably in the eurozone as a weapon against deflation”.

Nonetheless, the costs could be outweighed by a wave of payments innovation, if the Bank were to issue its own digital currency. The Bank said: “Creating such a system would entail creating a protocol for value transfer over the internet, akin to what [Tim] Berners-Lee did for information.”

Ken Tindell, an independent technologist, said that if the Bank launched a parallel digital pound alongside banknotes, this could reduce the cost of remitting currency abroad. This “is a very costly affair with the existing players” he said.

The Bank said that it could investigate whether moving to digital currencies could threaten traditional banking models, as consumers moved towards holding electronic money themselves, rather than depositing it with high street lenders.

Mr Tindell said: “If the Bank were to create its own successful payments system then it would inevitably disrupt … existing inter-bank payments, but it would also affect companies like Western Union.”

The Bank’s comments were included with the launch of its One Bank Research Agenda, a new framework for conducting research. The Bank is looking at issues beyond its traditional scope, to see how monetary policy interacts with developments such as lengthening life spans and climate change.

Unveiling the new programme in London, Mark Carney, the Bank’s Governor, said: “Economies are complex, dynamic, and constantly evolving systems.”

“Policymakers need research to help understand these phenomena and to craft our responses,” he added.
The research agenda has been launched in the aftermath of the 2012 Stockton Review, which recommended that the Bank embrace a “more assertive and experienced staff”, that might be “capable of breaking the momentum of the house view”.

New technology has already “enabled the emergence of new business models, such as peer-to-peer lending and crowdfunding, which create alternative sources of finance for both individuals and businesses”, the Bank continued.

This coin has so much going for it now. No smoke and mirrors, no empty promises or hype. Not too flashy, just a steady hand at the wheel bringing real and useful purposes for what alt coins should be. The Vault, and Crisp, various charity efforts. The sky's the limit  Wink I would have never dreamt this coin would be worth what it is today, and this is after mining and selling by the thousands in the early days, yes at 300  Embarrassed But its all good and their is still plenty of room to grow double, triple in value, there is really nothing holding it back. More time and exposure, and really bringing investors into the fold to scarf up Dnotes for crisp or for anything really. Its just getting started too, Guess we all need to get the word out!  Smiley

me too didn't know that it would go for this price, i was like wtf this coin got a premine when it started. This proved me wrong lol

Welcome to DNotes waterpile, we are glad to hear you decided to join us. It is difficult to believe we are here for the right reasons, but I can say with confidence, we will do everything in our power to make DNotes a success.

Welcome to DNotes waterpile. DNotes is still a very early stage investment opportunity and positioned for significant growth ahead. We have yet to be discovered and by choice maintained a low profile, perhaps not for too much longer. You might have missed the best opportunities but certainly not too late.
