2241  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin will always remain the best choice on: September 04, 2022, 04:36:13 PM
I get that the mass of people here will speak in favor of bitcoins, and it is good, not that I am trying to say the other options you compared with bitcoins are not relevant, but from your topic OP- "WHY BITCOIN WILL ALWAYS REMAIN THE BEST CHOICE", do you really think bitcoins will "always" remain the best choice? taking cognizance of the fact that there could be another ground breaking innovation. For the now bitcoin is the best choice, but we can't say it will always remain the best choice. At a time people also believed gold to remain the best choice, until the reality of bitcoins came, change and development is constant.
2242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting Strategies & Betting Psychology on: September 04, 2022, 11:49:18 AM
You can find the extensive lists of Betting Strategies & Betting Psychology here
I was really surprised to find such a very detailed list! It can a good resource for any professional bettor or someone who has decided to take betting very seriously to have as a reference material for any particular strategy they intend to check out. But for others, It can become an exhausting read if your read without a motive and no intention to learn anything in particular. Understanding strategies in betting can increase your chances of winning, but it doesn't ensure victory still completely.

2244  Economy / Economics / Re: MONEY IS THE MOTIVATING FACTOR, what do you think? on: September 03, 2022, 09:52:35 PM
Money is meant to follow you, while you are meant to follow value.  Create value, solve problems, and do it well, you'll attract people to follow you; remember, money follows people with value.

What's your take on this?
If you choose to chase after money all the days of your life, it can be very exhausting. Money is never enough so the chase may never end, no early retirements of any form, you will keep chasing till you wear out and most likely become poor if you don't seek a way to make money remain with you or come to you. Position yourself to make money come to you, so you can retire early and have a great life!
2245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: That's why I really like bitcoin :) on: September 03, 2022, 09:13:19 PM
You don’t have to physically carry it around.
Good thing you have found your peculiar reason, we all have our reasons why we like bitcoin, but the final matter is that we like bitcoin and should all make a conscious effort to hodl as long as possible, and help others find their own reasons to like bitcoin. Certainly if you have a conversation with someone offline and share your reason why you have come to like bitcoin, they may begin to consider bitcoins knowing that your points are valid. I encourage you to do so also, just as you have shared with us.
2246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2022/2023 on: September 03, 2022, 07:11:12 PM
Everton 0-0 Liverpool
Pickford saved the day for Everton, but Everton has to do better with their finishing. Liverpool on the other hand have not found their rhythm yet, the are still struggling.

Chelsea 2-1 West Ham United
West ham were robbed today of a point, the game is supposed to be 2-2. The goal that was denied was a goal in my opinion, the referee didn't get that correctly.

Aston Villa 1-1 Manchester City[/b][/size]
Haaland scored again, but good thing that at least Aston Villa has shown the other teams that though Manchester city are a difficult team to play, You could still hold them down with proper defense.

I'm having special prayers for arsenal tomorrow, Injury will be a challenge to us against a brimming Manchester United side. Of all the people injured, the one most hurting is Odegaard and Ramsdale, who may not play. Good luck to us.
2247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Designed Wrist Watch - Selling For $400,000😱😱 on: September 03, 2022, 07:09:46 AM
This luxury watch sells for $400,000 per piece and there are only 25 pieces of them that will ever be available, it was made to be just as scarce as Bitcoin is.
If I have the money, I wouldn't hesitate, $400,000 is affordable for such a unique and limited item IMO if I am a collector, and can afford it. There are more expensive wristwatches that people have spent more on. Take for instance;
-Drake’s Richard Mille RM 69 that reportedly cost $750,000.
-Christiano Ronaldo’s Franck Muller Round cost $1.5 million.
-Eric Clapton’s Patek Philippe 2499 cost $3.5 million.
-Jay-Z’s Hublot Big Bang cost $5 Million. etc

2248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: September 02, 2022, 08:37:28 PM
The game may end in a goalless draw, both clubs are not playing expert football...
Not a goalless draw currently, not so much an exciting game as well, but Celta Vigo is currently leading by three goals just after the goalless first half. Their second goal was very beautifully worked and finished well by Oscar, while the third goal from Aspas which he beautifully took with his left foot to seal the victory, was world class and gave the goalkeeper no chance. Iago Aspas has five goals currently this season, now a goal ahead of Lewandoski and two goals ahead of Karim Benzema who has hit the net in the La Liga just three times this season.
2249  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 4 simple Steps to effective response on threads on: September 02, 2022, 05:11:36 PM
I bet there's no need to explain these things, as long the response isnt off topic to the thread then it's fine.
There are no hard cut rules as to how you should engage a thread here on forum, for me, you don't need to be under pressure to impress anybody, just settle down and express yourself well. Read and understand the point of a discussion, go through other comments if other forum users have already engaged it, If you really understand the topic, you should have a striking response to give back, just same as having a conversation with someone. Don't feel under pressure to engage every thread, if you let pressure in especially as a newbie, you may soon if not careful, plagiarize.
2250  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Awareness of scam on social media will help reduce scam on: September 02, 2022, 04:47:47 PM
Beginners don't get awareness of scam on social media,  some mostly get aware of scam with personal experience.
Personal experience can be dangerous, It is better you even get awareness from peoples experience than randomly from social media, because some of the individuals who present themselves as activist against the activities of scammers online are scammers themselves whose plan is still to scam you, but their strategy is to make you unsuspecting first with the disguise of helping you.
2251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casino Stake.com sued for $400 million on: September 02, 2022, 04:31:14 PM
I'll be withdrawing all of my funds and going elsewhere!
Certainly, there will be many other users like you on their platform that will find this new development very disturbing and may want to pull back from their services as a result of this. I read the whole story and all I can see is that it is a case of someone seeking settlement. The current management of Stake should not just shove this off as if it is not quickly settled, the individual seeking settlement will go to almost any length including man to man discussions, to try to ruin the casino's image.  While having this case settled, they should also seek to ensure that they do not have further future cases of people suing them for similar issues, because people can be funny at times and notice that since they settled this individual quickly, may want to take advantage and try their own luck.
2252  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks are changing ..... Bitcoin should wake up and innovate more! on: September 02, 2022, 01:40:25 PM
Are we going to wait for the Banking sector to disrupt Bitcoin.... or are we going to spearhead innovation to stay in front? You decide, if you want to stagnate.... or if you want to run in the front.  Wink
The banking sector is not becoming better to me, only more enticing with more digitalization! The banks are still the same banks. In my country, the banks have even started to steal more from us recently in the name fees. I get charged when someone sends money into my bank account just like when I send money, get charged a ridiculous amount for " debit card maintenance fee", a card that I keep safe myself, I get charged also for sms notifications etc...It is not like their services are getting better, the network challenges in using the banking service is now a common thing. For new persons who have never used bitcoin, this new enticing face that banks are taking may be able to fool them that the banks are becoming better and a challenge to bitcoins, but if you have used bitcoins, you will know that the banks come nothing close to it.
2253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2022/2023 on: September 01, 2022, 10:19:41 PM
Leicester City remain rock bottom for the Premier League table
Terrible form from Leicester, they have to find their rhythm again quickly else it seems they are heading back to relegation. The players all seem to have lost their confidence. For Manchester United, their supporters will be relaxed now and impressed with their consecutive wins, looking forward to when they play Arsenal next. Maguire for MUFC, will spend many more days as a substitute surely, because Malacia, Martinez, Varane are holding their backline beautifully.
2254  Economy / Economics / Re: Rich Mindset vs Poor Mindset : 6 key differences on: September 01, 2022, 03:24:22 PM
The mindset you have will determine the level of your achievement.
I agree, what you have not conceived and accommodated in your mind rarely becomes a reality to you. You need a big and proper mindset to achieve a lot, and another key point, something to note about ''mindset" is that it is influenced greatly by the environment you find yourself, and the people you mingle with as friends. Make a conscious effort to always be in a good environment and entertain friends with bigger mindsets than you, so they can rob off on you.
2255  Economy / Economics / Re: Helping others could help to improve our country's economy on: September 01, 2022, 03:02:03 PM
👉Teaching them what to do to earn little more money.
There's a popular statement in my locale, I quote-''Don't give them fish, show them how to fish''.  It is to say that If you really want to help someone you know asides the little assistance you can provide in form of cash, food, clothes etc. to strangers who are really in need of it, rather than always wanting them to come to you for help which will become exhausting to you, show them a means for them to be able to assist themselves. If we all result to helping each other, the world will be a better place.
2256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 01, 2022, 02:48:11 PM
Probably Chelsea agreed to this transfer under the influence of the latest results in the Premier League and decided that it would be better Aubameyang to be a forward than to play without attackers at all.
Very beneficial for both clubs indeed and even Aubumeyang himself who would have had lesser playing time. For Chelsea to only want to depend on Sterling would have been a gamble for them, because although Sterling can score goals, he is not someone you can say can deliver you, plus it is always good to have options. A better performance is what I expect from Chelsea from now on.

I am closely following up on transfer news from Arsenal, expecting to see before the deadline that one or all the players that arsenal are closely keeping tabs on- Cody Gakpo, Mykhaylo Mudryk, Douglas Luiz and Pedro Neto sign for the gunners. We need reinforcement.

Person wey know say e go chop okra soup for party, nor dey wear white go.
Meaning: Plan ahead, make preparations.

Plate dey turn dirty plate once food finish for inside.
Meaning: Don't allow yourself be in a position where you no longer have any value to give.
2258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: August 31, 2022, 09:18:42 PM
What a sad night for Newcastle United
Not really a sad night, just a very unlucky one for them, they expected to actually steal a point from Anfield, but ironically, their delay technique that saw the extra time of the game extended for a few more minutes has robbed them. For the Newcastle supporters, the still will be proud with how their team have improved, they know surely that this is not the best performance from their team yet.

If there is one that I find out today is eirling haaland is world number one striker and also that Manchester city have been trying playing without a proper striker over the years, Haaland is everything you wish for from a striker...
Haaland is making the EPL look easy, what a thrashing for Nottingham forest! They were completely outclassed even with their many new additions to the team. I didn't expect them to win against Manchester city, but at least I expected them to score a goal.

This positive trend continued to be maintained by Arsenal until the 5th week where they managed to win 5 matches in a row. Arsenal are getting better and they are very motivated to do their best, but in any case this team is still not sure if they can keep up with teams like City or Liverpool.
I am looking forward to see how we will do against Manchester United next! From record, they usually have the better of us, I hope they will not be the team to stop our winning streak.

2259  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading and financial planning. on: August 31, 2022, 03:53:20 PM
*Endeavor to set a  financial target for yourself and possible means to achieving it and also create room for adjustments just in case of obstacles but don't keep your focus away from your target.
The financial advice some books will give you about when setting financial targets for yourself which I agree with is to ensure that you set a very high financial target that will push and motivate you to work hard towards achieving it.
Mind you, sometimes you may not hit your target,
Yes, the idea is not to always meet the target, but to get really close. In setting very high financial targets and working hard and smart to try to achieve it, you will be surprised how better you have performed, much better than setting a mediocre target for yourself.

High targets can encourage you to work hard.
2260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can this be the reason some people are afraid to invest in Bitcon? on: August 31, 2022, 03:22:02 PM
People are afraid because they were taught to be afraid as child. This is, unfortunately, what the educational system does.
Will you call it fear or rather people just trying to be more careful and cautious? I wouldn't blame anyone though, the times we are in calls for extra care and caution from everyone especially with the distinction between dubious and credible becoming fainter by the day. What I will always say is the source where one gets their information about something in this case bitcoin, matters a lot and can go a long way in making people believe in it's credibility faster. A good and credible and solid source of information always invokes interest and can quickly clear doubts.
