2247  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Selling 4 original Beatles Mini-Records, Two with original signatures. on: December 05, 2022, 04:42:44 PM
Seeing as the condition of the vinyls and sleeves is poor and doing some quick lookup on their value,
I would think in the $40 range would be a good valuation for the lot.. maybe a little less due to the fact they have random names and writing on them

Are you joking?

Even if the condition is bad, and the signatures were not made by the Beatles themselves, looking at the fact that these are working, original-released mini-records from the early 60s of the Beatles, it's worth way higher than $40.

no, not joking...   Go check ebay. All 4 of these records are on there, so you can see their approximate evaluations....

This auction is being placed on hold for now.
Apparently this note was sold and paid for by another forum user and should not be up for auction
Will update more shortly once I get more information
Please DO NOT place any more bids for now
Thank you

hmm, how is that possible if you want to sell this paperwallet via an auction but in the background the supposed owner sells it just like that... Huh Roll Eyes

That is what we are trying to figure out.....
Apparently it was sold to a forum user here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5417817.msg61155180#msg61155180
But a different forum user ended up with it and was sent for auction to me.
Waiting for answers from parties involved

No holo on back? Where are private keys stored on these... besides with the coinmaker

I believe you would need to crack the case open for the private keys

Yep pretty sure it’s engraved/etched on the side of the coin

I have both coins but have not checked in years so you could be right.

Correct... the private key is engraved/minted into the rim/side of the coin
Interesting.. seems like an odd place for a private key.. but i guess this was early on in the physical bitcoin world

Agreed, but was similar idea as a Kialara kinda, where you had to break open the sealed slab to get the coin out to reveal the key.

2258  Economy / Collectibles / [AUCTION] 2020 Lithuania LBCoin silver card 19.18 Euros / book #1285 on: December 03, 2022, 03:00:28 PM
2020 Lithuania LBCoin silver card 19.18 Euros / book
*upper left corner of book has slight damage as seen below in 2nd picture

More info:
The Bank of Lithuania is set to issue 4,000 LBCoins, which consists of 24,000 digital tokens that can be exchanged to 4,000 physical silver collector coins. The silver coin is dedicated to the Act of Independence of Lithuania and its 20 signatories. Each digital token features one of the signatories and belongs to one of the six signatory categories (priests, presidents, diplomats, industrialists, academics, municipal servants) with 4,000 tokens allotted to each category.

When purchasing LBCoin, buyers get six randomly selected digital tokens. Having collected six digital tokens from six different categories, they will be able to exchange them for a silver collector coin. Digital tokens can also be stored in a dedicated wallet on the LBCoin e-shop, sent as a gift, swapped with other collectors, or transferred to a NEM wallet.

The physical silver collector coin, which is being sold on Coins for us bears an unconventional denomination of €19.18 to commemorate the year of the Act of Independence (1918 February 16). In size and form, the physical collector coin resembles a credit card size, depicting the Act of Independence and its signatories.
