For those who lived during the past bear market ( 2018 /2019 ):
Can AltCoins go against the larger trend and actually pump nicely during a bear market ? I know there was a bit of a pump in 2019, so I don't know.. but right now I'm seeing Gods Unchained, Ox and a few other coins pump even if Bitcoin's Market dominance is still well over 42 %. Lets not also forget the market is still in a downtrend headed for lower lows at the moment. So would there be any point in trying to FOMO into altcoins pumping ?
I personally exited the market almost entirely, plan to re enter when Bitcoin hits 15K or even lower. Then again I've noticed some alts coming desperately close to the negative 98% mark... you have to wonder how much lower can they go
Good Alts can pump anytime, it not only depends on prevailing market conditions but also on development going behind the project, likewise Ethereum merger is well is progress and it is likely to complete within a month, so it will definitely have good impact on its price because this development will create more demand of Ethereum. Another example is burning of coin event that reduces supply of coins, hence makes good impact on price. Not all good alts can pump but as well those shitcoins which undergo on massive hype can pump to but expect for them to get dumped fast because that's how scam devs make their investors think that they are more reliable compare to any other top coins which is suffering from dump brought up by bear market season. I also see so many tokens do this burning of supply but its not sustainable if the developers are totally selfish so better secure your pockets first before you see a pump before believing that there's more to come. |

I prefer to hold bitcoin and hold fiat because by holding bitcoin, we can sell it anytime we want, especially if the price of bitcoin increases rapidly and reaches a high price. We also hold fiat to buy more bitcoins, especially if the price can drop drastically to the lowest level and then hold it back until the price recovers and increases to higher prices.
So you hold both bitcoin and fiat. What do you spend then?  You have to live somehow, pay your bills, buy food... I prefer to spend fiat because fiat is inflationary. It loses value over time so holding it doesn't make a lot of sense. I hold only as much fiat money as I'd need for maybe a year if I got sick or had some problems like an accident or a medical condition. Cash is like a hot potato these days with 10% inflation. But at the end of the day you will still need to convert your bitcoins to fiat so that you can pay all your bills or anything what you need since we cannot still really bitcoin in terms of utility since there's limited merchants or institutions accept bitcoin. Although cash is really hot because of inflation but still this is most preferred by people globally. |

They relied with adjustments too. Somehow the Boston Celtics found a way to break that play even if they are using big men like Horford and Williams III. But, the same was done by Warriors with adjustments that is way better than what Boston did. I must say this, Steve Kerr is a hell of a coach, he must've focused on what Phil Jackson was doing way back he was a Bulls player and then some added wisdom from Coach Pop while he stayed with the Spurs. He is a product of successful and intelligent coaches although he is a bench player, I guess that's what made him better because he see everything in a wider perspective. Agree with you that, the Warriors will not become a good team if Steve Kerr was not hired to coach this team. He is also a great 3-point shooter so he was able to help Curry improve his talent and slowly Curry has become a good defensive player as well. Kerr deserves to win a coach of the year again. Its not only with Kerr but the whole coaching staff or shall we say the whole organization because they really help the careers of each warriors player goes to their team. Plus their scouts which really can spot a high quality player coming off from unexpected picks. But for talking about being a coach of the year well its no doubt that Kerr totally deserve this since he won multiple championships on this team. |

Hi, trading websites like binance, do charge user for 0.0005 BTC (half of mili BTC or 0.5 mBTC) when user is going to withdraw. Many other websites are likely charging users for same fee. What is the reason? Sites like binance do pay users in groups, I mean they pay to 10 users in same transaction. this will also reduce fee payed by binance. So why binance (or other sites) do charge user for $10 as fee when they do pay $1-2 as fee? For example even if binance pay $1 as fee to the bitcoin network, then it will charge user for $10 (0.5mBTC). I think binance do not likes that users withdraw their BTCs because maybe they do not have enough BTC in their wallets! Nope that's not it because this is not how they run their business and Binance is earning a lot of money for this as they are the top exchange exist. If I am not wrong that's the default fees even before when bitcoin is so cheap. So if you think the network fee is so high better shift to other alts which have less fee and fast. |

You have good coins on your stash so don't get worried about things like legality since crypto is not there yet so don't get worries about those things. Maybe try to focus on your trades for now and how you can earn profits because its more helpful if you monitor the market to gain from it, rather than relying on hype because if you don't know what you are doing maybe you could still lose your money even if you hold those good coins. |

Yesterday, my mom did a general cleaning on my room and when she's done, I saw the recovery phrase of my Trezor hardware wallet on the garbage can which I placed on my computer table, I also have that same copy on my wallet but still can't stop myself to tremble in fear to lose that piece of paper. This is what I've been scared about when people say to write your recovery phrases on a piece of paper instead of storing it online.
I would like to know how others keep these secret phrases if the people in your house are not really knowledgeable in crypto. Would it be safe if I store it online but the file is encrypted and password protected?
I mostly write my important details like my seedphrase on notebook to since I feel safer when I write it offline that saving it on any other application on my computer. To safekeep it I told my parents that they shouldn't touch this notebook because I have important information written there and also I save 1 slot on my desk drawers and lock it so that no one can touch it when I'm far from my computer. |

There's nothing to be sorry for, bitcoin will know to find its own way to rise. bitcoin is not an altcoin which when pumped can no longer return to ATH, we do have to experience a correction in the market so that bitcoin's growth is for the better.
Nothing to be sorry because its just a paper loss and they can recover what possible losses in value if they continue to hold then wait for another bull run to happen, this is always happening on bitcoin especially when there's a halving happening. So what people need to do is to hold if they are trap and cannot afford to cut loss since for sure in future they can recover back or even get a profit once bitcoin price became at excellent state. |

If you are a crypto trader using spot I advice you should stick with it till you become a professional trader, just because you start futures and win three rounds of short or long buys doesn't mean you are officially a pro trader....
I thought I was a pro coming from spot trading, I used 300$ which I planned to use to DCA into a project but a man can dream, my first attempt was successful, which net me 50$ and the second was 100$, the third round was 40$ and I close the trade for the day...
On the second day I lost everything, I now officially accept that I am far from been a pro trader, at least that's what I thought 🤔.
The level of patience on individual traders is different so futures is not really for everyone. I see a lot of traders settle only on spot trading because for what I see they cannot take the huge risk given by this option since we really need to spend time to watch how the market moves because if we are not there to guard our trades for sure we will lost since market is so volatile. |

The Golden State Warriors have shown some interest in picking up Carmelo Anthony for next season. I’m not sure how well he would fit in, but I’m sure he could do some damage off the bench. I’m thinking it would probably be his last chance to win a championship, so it wouldn’t be a bad option for him. I’d wait to see if Kyrie gets traded to the Lakers and see if I could run that back before anything else though.
I think he's a good fit for the GSW coming off the bench. He could definitely do some damage as most of the guys in GSW can shoot everywhere and that gives him the advantage to find an open space where he can shoot uncontested. I'd definitely love to see him win a championship before he retires. I know he'll have a better chance of winning a championship if joins the Warriors than the rest of his career from different teams. Coming off the bench? yeah, I think it will be good, but him in the starting five, I doubt that he will fit on that rotation. Maybe the Warriors thinks he can give 10-15 points solid in any given night. So let's see if the Warriors will give him another chance. Who knows, it could click and perhaps Carmelo Anthony will win his first ring before retiring. Well, I'm quite sure that he won't be a part of the starting five and it is quite obvious why. The GSW has already established their attacks and the defensive maneuvers they will have to do in any team they face that's why I don't think that they will just add Carmelo on that rotation. He will be good at bench producing nice figures every night and it's much better to give him more exposures as a substitute player because he's already proven to produce numbers. He will not as he is already a bench player so for sure in GSW he's role will be at the bench. This is good addition since they could use the shooting ability of Melo and fit up on their system. Lets just see if he will get more good exposure in GSW since if he produce good numbers maybe he will also get a ring on this team. |

I don't have much to speculate about his behavior towards the crypto market. should also look at the matter from a different angle, as we all see that Elon Musk has brought positive and negative signals to the market through several stages of its development. As it grows, people call him god and now a bad guy. Each will judge and see the matter from their own understanding. In a market where most people want to benefit from it, and influencers will always face problems like this, I know not only Elon Musk but many other influencers are also being talked about. I guess if you are not that new in the market, you know such personalities like Musk can easily influenc the price. However, sooner or later crypto investors are getting smarter and will stir away from him specially if he open his mouth and talked about bitcoin. And I don't think there is some kind of magic trick here, more on a business move on his part. Selling bitcoin, which he uses as an hedge and investment for his company. And since everyone's business is suffering due to the lockdown, specially his factory in China, he need cash flows now and the best move for Tesla is to sold their BTC holdings. The magic trick he always used is his company so maybe some people will get easily affected when there's a news about tela's action made, before it was really effective since if you look at the doge coin Tesla or Elon really make the price of it skyrocket. But now its hard for him to stir down the scene as the latest action they do didn't really give any huge effect to the market and I guess people already know the actions made by Elon Musk itself. |

still luna classic has been left by most of the big venture capital and investment fund, basically it gonna hardly have big flow of investment in the future, so just don't really think that luna classic could ever recover back to its former glory.
Luna Classic has lost the trust of many investors, so it is very difficult for Luna Classic to recover and become one of the top altcoins again. Even Luna Classic for me is a very high risk coin option, maybe in the near future I will not invest in Luna Classic. What happened to LUNA before was really bad, we can imagine LUNA, which is a top coin, could experience a very severe crash. And there are so many investors who have become victims and until now have experienced deep trauma. How such an incident could be forgotten so easily. So Luna Classic will still be considered shitcoins which is not recommended to buy, it may take a long time for Luna Classic to regain investors trust. Many investors are already done with Luna because the incident happen which cost huge financial lost to huge number of their holders makes them not a good coin to choose for. I'm not sure how they determined and calculate the number of 1 billion cryptocurrency users by 2030 because there can be many factors to check about the increasing number of cryptocurrency users like the regulation of bitcoin because surly if the governments decide to suspend bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in their countries there will be fewer users trying to use bitcoin and cryptocurrency because we all know they will show less interest if they see some problem from the government side, but generally, I think by 2030 and considering the speed on spreading bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in the world will see much more investors and users but I can say any number.
I guess they just multiply the total upcoming population of people in that year that's why they get that possible numbers, but it doesn't mean that we believe that since there are so many thing that might happen and we need to prepare if government will ban it or totally regulate the cryptocurrency industry. But looking at what's happening on crypto this past years for sure we can see some great adoption came at that year. |
