2241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 11, 2021, 06:10:24 AM
Great game on ESPN between the Heat and Lakers right now. Heading into overtime and the Lakers are looking pretty good. Carmelo is showing he’s still one of the best scorers in the game and Westbrook came through in the clutch to comeback and force overtime. Seems like they have the momentum. A great 5 minutes of basketball about to happen…
Lakers won the game, IIRC, this is the first time that they win against a legit playoff team this season, so I'm happy for them as they give the heat a tough match and they won at home even without Lebron. Melo is really valuable for the team he stepped up in the Absence of Lebron.

Also, what's noticeable in this game is Westbrooks triple-double with 21 points, 14 assists, and 12 rebounds, however, the TO is too high with 8 in this game. Congrats to the Lakers and the backers who trust them despite being the underdog in this game.
2242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: November 10, 2021, 11:49:27 PM
So within a Month time now Middle East is the place ? now Casimero must Show how tough His Hands than His Mouth after delivering too much Badmouthing the past months .

Though I am aiming for Him to Win over Butler because i also wanted Him to face Inoue to see if he can take the Monster that Donaire did not achieve in His first try.

Yup, Dubai is the place.

Don't worry, Casimero can back the talk  Grin. Trash-talking seems to be part of the strategy to sell fight and often times it is effective and sometimes not. In boxing, they said that there is no such thing as an easy fight but this Butler fight is just a warm-up fight for bigger things to come for Casimero considering that he won't let his guards down IMO.
Warm up fight for Butler? I dont think so and he shouldnt really be that confident on fighting with Casimero. Not to say about their capabilities but i could say that Casimero
is indeed capable on beating him so he shouldnt really make those big talks before the fight but its right that trashtalks is really part of the business for them to sell
out the fight and able to get more revenue but this is much better than compared into those exhibition fights that we do have right now.
Its worth of spending some bucks rather than into those circus dance.

Most definitely, we have 3 Filipino fighters in the fight night and that's gonna make this fight more exciting since every fight you'll know who to cheer with. Casimero is the champion here, so it's normal to think that we believe he will win so he will get the big fight that he has been chasing for a while now.
2243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 10, 2021, 10:47:45 PM
Another good game is Knicks vs Bucks, New York -3.5.
I'm taking the Knicks as well, both teams losing their last 3/5 games but the Bucks are on a back to back while the Knicks have the home advantage.

In their previous meeting Knicks won on the road by double digits, I think we'll see another similar outcome unless the Bucks come out hot with their shooting %.

There's still no Lopez and Middleton in this game, so most probably we will see the same result, and you are right, they are on a back to back game which would give the home team more advantage, I can already see who will win this game so I'm riding with your pick bro.
2244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 10, 2021, 10:07:20 PM
That's gangsta Jimmy for you, Lol, but I like the attitude though, he is the leader of the team so he is supposedly to protect everyone to the point wherein he want's to take the whole Nuggets team by himself.

Not really - it was honestly quite soft given that he had waited until Jokic was well away from him to make these moves, lol.

In either case, it would a great game and good to see some emotion from the big Serbian.

The Morris twins have certainly got themselves into this stuff, if and they are going to play tough, they should back it up.

I know the Morris brothers are tough, the reason why they are still in the NBA now but their taunting is too much, they seem like they keep that anger on Jokic on whatever team they will play with. I don't know what's gonna be like if these two teams will meet again in the future, and hopefully there's no more altercation that will happen as the NBA could impose a more serious sanction to them.
2245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 09, 2021, 10:45:06 PM
Hehe Morris acting like he was run over by a truck after giving a hard foul. He could have sent someone flying if it was someone smaller and not a bigger guy in Jokic. Call it cheap shot but I think what Jokic did was fine to send a message that he's not to be taken lightly. It would have been better if it was a push but Morris would have acted the same way.
This was an ambiguous situation. Everybody knows that Morris likes dirty play, and he definitely provoked Jokic in that episode. However, there is no excuse for Jokic's action. He shouldn't react to such provocations in this way, considering that he is a key player of the Nuggets. I mean, Jokic just lets his team down if he will be suspended for a few upcoming games.
Though I would say that I love seeing a bully gets bullish, I mean getting a dose of his own medicine but the good side of me telling that it was a wrong action as it demonstrates his weakness and their opponent might use it to disrupt him and we know how his team relies on him heavily.

There's nothing to improved on Jokic performance as a player but I think he has to work out on how to control his emotion as I've seen him many times especially in the playoffs that he can easily gets frustrated, and like I said, it's not gonna help to make the team successful.
2246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No one can continue ignoring Bitcoin on: November 09, 2021, 10:07:44 PM
As bitcoin continues to be more bullish, we will be able to read more positive news that could attract more people to adopt through investing. This is no the first time for us to hear from a popular personality saying positive comments about bitcoin, so the sentiment is now bullish because of the influence of these people.

However, if the time comes that the market will experience a heavy correction, I hope they'll stand with their words and will not panic even if the correction may look like the end of bubble.
2247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] The Rematch - JOSHUA vs USYK II (updated thread) on: November 09, 2021, 12:21:24 PM
Btw, is it already know officially where the rematch will be held? In Kiev? This would change few decimals in odds in Usyks favour for sure Cheesy

Here ; https://talksport.com/sport/boxing/957137/anthony-joshua-vs-oleksandr-usyk-rematch-date-start-time-venue-when-where-eddie-hearn/

Quote
Joshua vs Usyk 2: When and where could it happen?
Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn has said the rematch could take place in March or April in 2022.

Hearn also believes that the fight will be held in the UK again despite Usyk wanting to take it back to his homeland of Ukraine.

Though it's not final yet at least we have an idea of the location of the rematch fight.

I guess it should be in a place or country that will gain more viewers, especially those who will go to the venue so this big fight will make a good revenue, and if Joshua will bounce back and win, well, the big fight will be waiting for him.
2248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 09, 2021, 11:59:54 AM

Arwind is 40 years old already and they don't want that he will retire without any exchanges. Maybe that is the reason why they traded him.
Even Coach Austria admitted on one of the interviews that the so-called "Death 5" is aging already thus, they will make moves in the future whatever happens. This is one of the moves that he is saying. TNT is a strong team with a great coach and with how they've performed last Filipino Cup, I bet that they are still one of the picks in winning the championship coming this Governor's Cup.

SMB will always be one of the favorites to win a championship as they have the best player in the PBA which is JMF. He could be healthier next conference and he really needs that as there are imports that are more aggressive and more dominant, so if JMF's presence is felt, then SMB will be more successful next conference, and who knows, they would probably win a championship again.
2249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Commey - December 11 on: November 08, 2021, 02:26:55 PM
Commey stats are very impressive wins 30 with 27 KO'ed from 33 matches, but looking from which boxer his fight most of them were amateur boxer. The interesting part both of them have fought with Lopez, Lomachenko lost with unanimous decision result while Commey lost got TKO'ed by Lopez in round 2. I think we can draw the conclusion Lomachenko will win this fight, probably 70-85%.

That would probably happen since Loma has already taken the lead by fight experiences. However, slight chances that anything can happen in the ring especially when your opponent can change tactic anytime he feels threatened and distances himself to avoid power punches just like how the fight turned out with Casimero and Rigondeaux where he was nearly defeated by Rigondeaux with his runaway tactic. This could happen to Loma but with other tactics that his opponent has been practising till the fight.
I'm sure that is not the reason, in terms of fight experience, Richard Commey has more because he got 30 fights already in his professional career while Lomachenko only has 15 of half of Richard Commey total fights.

We can check their records ;
https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/563751
https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/659771

True he has more experience as it can be measured by the number of fights, however, the reason why Loma is more popular is because of the quality of fights he had and how he was able to win them. But I would say that Richard Commey has an impressive record as well, 27 KO out of 30 fights, that's something.
2250  Economy / Economics / Re: 6 billion to solve world hunger? on: November 08, 2021, 01:55:27 PM
That's only a small amount to solve the world hunger, however, the intention to help is big and if It's true then I would certainly admire Elon for doing that. At least he can help a huge number of hungry people in the world and that's his way to sharing back to the world from the fruits of his labor.

so the question of whether it will solve? it will definitely not but he can be a model and other billionaires might follow.
2251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: November 07, 2021, 02:58:52 AM
The undercards are underway and for those who want to watch the live events here please check this link https://www.facebook.com/103314412143631/videos/665159587810274 I don't know if this is delayed or live but at least we can see the coming action between Caleb Plant and Canelo Alvarez I'm sure this fight will live up to our expectation.

Thanks for the share, yeah, the undercard was already on it's way and we have seen some knock outs already.

But I guess the Caleb Plant vs Saul Alvarez will be like 2 hours from now. Unless all this undercard fights are going to knock out their opponent early in the round then we don't have to wait for too long for the main card. I have Alvarez by KO here, 1.56, yes I know but for me a odd of 1.5 and above it's good enough to throw some good money.

Watching now from the share link, the screen is small but it's alright at least it's free, lol.

Currently now in the co-main event, hopefully, there's no interruption once they go with the main event,
Good luck everyone! Enjoy your Sunday.
2252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SQUID GAMES TOKEN CRASHES on: November 07, 2021, 02:16:12 AM
The token continues to grow. 51.39$ (700.96%)
Wait, is this the coin you are referring (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/squid-game/)?

Yeah the price pump but what's the starting price of this coin, based on the link above, it's price was over $600 at one time and now less than a dollar, so what's up with that? though it is still pumping but how about those people who got caught by the FOMO.

and there's a note in CMC that tells.

2253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: JP Morgan believes Bitcoin is Overpriced on: November 04, 2021, 11:31:20 PM
The FUD spreader, why would we believe in this guy?

If he thinks bitcoin is overpriced and we don't believe in him, it should not affect our decision to invest.
Maybe overpriced in a short period of time due to hype that would result in a pump of price, but in general, it's now because it's based on demand and as we read in the news, more institutional adoption is happening, even a country adopted in bitcoin, so the price is justified right.
2254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 04, 2021, 10:58:11 PM
It's always the IATF that has the final say on whether they will let the fans watch live or not but with covid on a decline, I think we are going there. Manila will be downgraded to alert level 2 and IATF recommended the removal of plastic barriers on public utility vehicles, high chance that people can watch PBA games by Christmas.
It's just fresh on the news that starting by Nov. 5, a few hours from now. The whole NCR will now be placed under alert level 2. And that means that there will be more capacity in establishments and as well as kids can go now into that establishments as long as the parents are fully vaccinated.
So I think, if this will continue until the start of the next season, we could see PBA playing with fans and for sure there will be a lot to watch live because we all missed that activity watching live games.
Great news, if they are allowed to go to establishments like the mall, then there's no difference in going to sports events as long as the proper protocol is observed. I don't know why it's hard in our country to get back to normal while in other countries like the US, people are already allowed to go in sporting events to watch, so I guess we are too far behind already.
2255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 04, 2021, 01:40:36 PM

I got my pick too.

1- how about 76ers again at -6 against the Pistons on the road?

It's a back to back game, I think they will be tired and if they would win, they might not be able to cover the spread, so it's a no for me.

2- Suns -10.5, sure they are way better than the Lakers so they'll win and cover the handicap.

I'm going with you on this one. Suns at home, I think they maybe win by 20 points or more here.
Suns are not inconsistent as the Lakers, if they'll build a big lead from the start, they might bring that lead until the end of the game.
2256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Commey - December 11 on: November 04, 2021, 12:54:39 PM
One last fight for Lomachenko this year, hopefully, he will be able to end it with another win.

This fight will happen in just over a month, so I'm wondering maybe the odds are already out now, anyone here has an idea what's the betting odds of this fight? Obviously, Lomachenko will be the favorites but I like to specifically know how favorite he is based on the line.

anyway, here are some information regarding the fight.

2257  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I fail in trading on: November 04, 2021, 11:58:24 AM
Trading requires patience and large part of your daily time. If you rushes to get profit then absolutely you will not. If you want to get profit in trading you should invest in Bitcoin and Solana. These two coin are very hot coins nowadays. Like these coins there are so many other coins in which you can make investment. But before going to start trading you should first  seek about it.

It's like a business that you have to put an effort into, you cannot be successful right away, it requires a lot of experience and reflecting on your mistakes until you become consistent in trading. It's not a one-time big-time kind of business, it's kinda risky because we are dealing with risk, but with enough knowledge and skills, that would minimize the risk and you'll be profitable in the long run.

if someone failed and give up right away, then I must say he/she is not destined to be a trader.
2258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: November 04, 2021, 05:45:35 AM
however, witness the style of Crawford to change stance while moving back and jab hard on Porter’s face repeatedly during the whole fight.

Well, Crawford can really do that because he is fast, but why such a strategy? Do you think he is afraid of the power of Porter, that's why he just wants to take advantage of his speed and just score to win? What about expecting a KO from Crawford, what percent do you think he will get that kind of win?

The word afraid does not exist in boxing, the fact that he fought Porter, means he believes that he can beat him. It's all about strategy and every boxer has strengths and weaknesses, so if Crawford sees that strategy as the best way for him to win, I would not doubt if he will do that, he just has to win, that's the goal, or as Floyd said, protect yourself at all times, avoid getting hit.
2259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 04, 2021, 04:55:45 AM
My pick today is Brooklyn -4.5, I guess they are just too much for a struggling Atlanta Hawks, and since no one in this roster can stop Durant, I might also put a bet on the player props.

Won my bet, as like I said, Durant is always there to take over and he did that for the team to win and cover the spread.

Also, I'd like to say congratulations to the other winners @Harkorede, @stadus, and @wheelz1200.

Share your picks again, we might keep winning here. a happy place to be.
2260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 03, 2021, 11:08:42 PM
Any thoughts on the Bulls vs 76ers?

Both teams are doing pretty well, Bulls are surprising with 3-0 on the road and 6-1 ATS overall.
76ers, on the other hand, have a 3-1 home record, and I'm thinking if they'll win here they will likely cover the -2 spread.

What do you think, should I follow the hot Bulls or take the homecourt advantage for the 76ers?

This could go either way I think. I am not touching this game, it's hard to predict and I don't want to risk my money on something I'm not confident enough, maybe I'll put a very small amount for the sake of entertainment but I'll rather choose other games that I believe will give me more than 50% chance of winning.

My pick today is Brooklyn -4.5, I guess they are just too much for a struggling Atlanta Hawks, and since no one in this roster can stop Durant, I might also put a bet on the player props.
