I have been hearing about some really good improvements for the Ferrari F1 team for the next season. It looks like they have already strengthened their car a great deal. It is really good news for me as I want them to bring back their old days as of the coming season. Ferrari don't deserve to be a struggling team. For old times' sake, Ferrari need to gather strength and compete for the title hopefully. I'd really like to see what Leclerc and Sainz can do with a powerful car also.

I'm looking forward to watching the both games in the PSG - Real Madrid matchup. This is the most remarkable matchup among all of them. These teams both are candidates to become the champions in the Champions League this season. PSG are a bigger favourite of course but Real Madrid are really strong now. They are capable enough to eliminate any team in the tournament. I hope to see two competitive games in this draw. And at the end, I think PSG can advance to the next stage.

I always avoid betting right at the very start of the season. Players have had a few weeks off, and need a bit of time to get back to 100% even if they're not carrying injuries. Some will be a bit fitter than others, and tennis matches often hinge on fine margins. Me too, I was not aware by Tsitsipas has an injury that got operated, and Schwartzman? Lol, this dude is very inconsistent last year that it was good money to beat against hi if he is the favourite. So, I feel like Bayern will have a great chance to beat Gladbach just on the premises that if they are the healthy ones. If there is some covid cases then I do not know what will happen, thinking if they miss 2-3 key players than it is anyone's game to be fair.
Its not only when there are some covid cases at Bayern Munich that its possible that Munich can lose a game. We have seen it in the first half already when Munich was playing with all players that other teams can beat them. And for the race of the champion title i really hope that they will lose the game against Gladbach , this would be all more interesting again. Indeed, Bayern is doing incredibly good until they switch to sleep mode in one random game and play like a 2.Bundesliga team although having all stars in the field, then revert back to god mode in the next game. So far this doesn't have a big impact in Bundesliga but switching off that mode in CL will be a catastrophic failure. I think you’ll are bit harsh on the teams that beat Bayern, because they beat them by playing better football than Bayern so you’ll should give those teams the credit rather say Bayern randomly played bad to allow them to win. I can agree about Umtiti. Since Barcelona has 6 central defenders, they won't have a problem if Umtiti leaves. While for Dembele and Coutinho, I don't see any other experienced players in their positions. Losing them means Barcelona to rely on youngsters only. I don't know if it will be a good solution for Barcelona performance, although it can be good for Barcelona financial. If they leave, it will reduce Barcelona players' salaries. But Barcelona will lose some players with great talents/skills. I think Umtiti as senior player in Barcelona but not any coach like with him and now Xavi still not giving chance for him, after Koeman era Umtiti still not get minutes player now he still take more minutes on bench and I think better move to other club during he has chance to top performance, I see Umtiti is better than Pique have slowly on defender area for Barcelona but Xavi still not give chance for Umtiti. Many player will left Barcelona in January window transfer like Countiho, Dembele and Umtiti not in game playing for Barcelona in this season. Arsenal has Odeegard , why do they need Phillipe Coutinho? Also there is Smith-Rowe who can also play in centre midfield so not sure if Coutinho is what Arsenal needs right now. Arsenal seems to have a lot of players who play as midfielders in their squad, and I think the arrival of coutinho will certainly make the competition very tight and even trigger the desire of other players to move to the other club, it's not wrong to bring coutinho to strengthen arsenal this season, but I think that it is better for Arsenal to bring in defenders and players who can play as strikers at the moment, but it seems Arteta knows what he is doing for Arsenal and let's see if the arrival of coutinho will be able to make Arsenal even better in the future. I believe the simple answer is Arteta wants to balance youth with experience, and let’s not forget that Coutinho knows premier league very well, and therefore he’ll gel in well with the Arsenal squad. I’ve read some stuff saying that with the new specs the air behind the cars are ‘cleaner’ and thus making it easier for the cars behind to over take the cars at front. So we’ll see... Ferrari could make it at least close vs Red Bull. We have just three months to go! And less than that to see the new cars. The plan I think is that the new cars generate a lot more downforce from ground-effect, through carefully shaped channels on the base. This means that when they get close behind another car, they still keep most of the downforce, whereas a current car relying on barge boards etc loses a lot when right behind another car. So in theory, yes, cars should be able to follow more closely without losing downforce... which should lead to better, closer racing, and more overtaking. But yes, you'd still expect to see Mercedes first, followed by Red Bull. I think a lot of the Mercedes problems this year were due to how the changes affected high-rake and low-rake cars differently, which caught them out... so 2021 gave other teams a chance. Next year they could well be ahead again. I think because of the new simpler aerodynamics, the cars will be slower and thus the down force needed by the cars will be less which brings less dirty air at the back of the car. This will really make it easier for the drivers behind to over take. But yeah... That’s the whole idea on paper but let’s see what happens during testing and what the data shows. I think there’s one guy who’ll be having more problems if it’s easier to over take... Hamilton. He now has two guys to worry about, Russell and Verstappen. I believe with all the changes Ferrari keeps saying they’re making they’ll be one of the contenders to win the title next season, because they gave up on 2021 races to work on 2022 races. Also I’m eagerly waiting for Max to take on Hamilton again, but this time he will find it even harder and that’ll make these races even more interesting to watch. |

LOL.. this will be the last thing they need right now. If they prepare batting friendly wickets, then you can expect the Indians to build totals of 500 plus or 600 plus and on the other side the South Africans don't have quality batsmen who can get them to such high totals. The current strategy, IMO works better for them. Look at the margin of defeat. It may be in the range of 100-130 runs. If they prepare batting friendly tracks, then in all probability they are going to suffer from innings defeat.

Agreed with Sithara, you don't want to introduce batting friendly wickets in SA. This would be suicidal for current lot of Protea's bowlers and team. Nortje is already ruled out from the series so another reason to not introduce flat track.

Let's say ICC gives nod to another structural reforms on revenue model and every one is entitled (Test playing nation) to receive equal amount of money. for example $120 Million each.
Ireland's population = 5 million Revenue contribution = 0.00001%
India's population = 1.35 Billion Revenue contribution = More than 70%
Does that look logical at all? I don't buy this argument of "Equal amount" anymore. BCCI contribute 70%-80% of revenue and after collapse of BIG-3 model they gets 20%-28% of amount back, if you reduce BCCI share now then it would turn into modern version of colonisation in cricket. Where everyone sucking out resources from only one cricketing nation. BTW BCCI is only reason ICC is able to subsidise every associate nation atm and you really want to kill the golden goose?
Whatever you have posted is factually correct and no one is going to argue against those points. All I am asking is that the ICC should follow the same approach being taken by the other sports federations such as FIH, FIFA and FIBA. None of the other federations distribute money as per the population of a particular country (even if that is the case, then China should be receiving more funds from the ICC, since they are also an associate member). Anyway, for me the best solution would be something that is mutually beneficial - the pig-3 agree for more ICC tournaments. If so, the ICC revenues would increase and they can continue with the higher share for BCCI. You can compare hockey, football etc with cricketing ecosystem but only when there is only 1 format especially shorter format T-20. If not then i believe cricket is more complex and in present situation it has at least 5 version of formats. 3 international (T-20, ODI, Test) and 2 underdeveloped formats - The 100 ball, T-10 and we're not equipped or have will to monetise all formats. I think i have said this before that only long term solution would be to allow more associate member to participate in T-20 WC (24 teams tournament), that's where big bucks are made. There would be chaos at start for sure, in terms of revenue loss and dud fixtures but this could potentially solve some problems, as far as self sustainability by smaller boards and spreading the game are concern. @JSRAW I don’t think ICC will ever try to take BCCI out of the equation, because they very well know that BCCI can start their own tournaments and completely bury ICC revenues. I believe that Dortmund should do their best to win the Europa League championship. Because they won't most probably be winning the Bundesliga championship this season as they already are far away from Bayern Munich in the standings now. But they should at least thrive for winning a championship in this season. Maybe they don't need the title of this tournament as they would join the Champions League by ending the season at a decent position in the Bundesliga. But it is worse for them if they end it without any title.
aCLS63 Dortmund are indeed a very strong team, but I don’t think that they’ll find it easy to win in the Europa League and they’ll have to bring their best game to win the league title. Lastly if they bow out of this league without reaching the finals then yes indeed it’ll be a disaster for them, hence it’ll be really interesting to see if they chose to prioritise winning this league or no. |

Give him some space guys, he was removed in disrespectful manner from ODI and T20 captaincy. He has done so much for Indian cricket and that's how you treat your legend player? Look at his performance ever since, he is not able to score runs anymore in Test. If he is bulling like that he will get more depressed with time.
If he is out of form, then the best possible course of action for him and for the team would be to take a break from test cricket and concentrate on domestic cricket for a few months. I have never heard about this excuse, like saying that a player is depressed and therefore he should be allowed to play in the national team. There are a lot of talented youngsters sitting at the bench, only because the oldies like Kohli would select players only based on their loyalty and not based on their skills and merit. @Theones what’s done can’t be done and we can’t expect BCCI to apologise to him, or give out a public apology so he’ll have to just move on and play his natural game. Also Virat is a much better player than Rahane and Pujara who should be removed from the team, and the current Indian team need’s Kohli aggressive behaviour to motivate them, however if he constantly fails with the bat in 2022 then yea I’ll too back the call for him to be removed from the team. |
