2261  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - is the bottom in? on: February 22, 2023, 04:39:49 PM

Is the bottom in? If not how low can we realistically go before the start of the bull run?
According to @ImThour #Bitcoin Bottom was at $15,476, so yes you can say bottom is in.

His way is to compare Bitcoin 2018 vs 2022 you can read it ---> Bye Bye Bear Market Smiley

Whether you believe the analyzes or not, but we need a strong event to return to 15K, not to mention breaking the bottom to a lower bottom, which seems that it will not happen in the normal situation.
So without an exceptional event, we can say that we have reached the bottom.
2262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it good to accept crypto as a payment? on: February 22, 2023, 10:34:01 AM
Are you guys accepting crypto payments for your business?
Accepting payments in cryptocurrencies is one thing, continuing to use them is another, and keeping the bitcoins generated through them is quite another.
Stores accept payment in any currency if there is a demand for it, and the settings for accepting it are easy and simple.

From a technical point of view, you can easily add bitcoin to your site, but the problem remains in the presence of sufficient demand. This demand is achieved by individuals.

The important percentage now is that stores continue to accept cryptocurrencies.
2263  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin be trusted? on: February 19, 2023, 07:08:06 PM
When you talk about crashes, do you mean a technical problem? Or a drop in price? Bitcoin has been working for more than ten years without stopping due to a major error, and therefore you can trust it from a technical point of view, but in terms of price, everything is the same, but as long as the network is decentralized, the price will rise again.

Generally, if your problem is not the price, you can believe in Bitcoin.
2264  Economy / Reputation / Re: What a moment?!! on: February 19, 2023, 06:55:37 PM
Congratulations, you deserved to reach this rank early, but it looks like you haven't been active.
It's rare to find someone who reaches this rank and has a good trust record of doing business and yet is involved in constructive discussions, congratulations.

I just hope the scammers stay away from you. Grin
2265  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Is Metal Seed Storage Safe in an Earthquake? on: February 19, 2023, 06:42:20 PM
Are there any reports from Turkey of people losing their cryptocurrencies due to earthquakes? I know that it is early, but most of us do not take such an option into account, and the operations to search for a piece of stainless steel metal in such debris will be difficult, as the focus of the authorities will be on saving lives or recycling the debris quickly, and not saving your coins.
2266  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Mortal Kombat ransomware forms tag team with crypto-stealing malware on: February 18, 2023, 06:26:32 PM
Despite the different names, the way it works is similar, which is that it tries to deceive the user into voluntarily giving his money to the third party, and thus with a little care you can avoid most of them, such as checking addresses several times, not downloading random programs, learning more, and allocating cold storage with a device Separate broadcast transactions.

With increasing awareness, all these attacks are expected to fail.
2267  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Kraken DCA Bot on: February 18, 2023, 04:49:53 PM
It's good that you made it open source, but why just Kraken? Does it work with different platforms? Or does it only work with that platform?
Is the time interval an hour as a maximum, or can many hours be added to represent a week, or once a month?
Also, in the event of any technical error, is it possible to withdraw to an address that is not in the white list, or can you add any address to withdraw.

I will give it a try if it works with OKX. Smiley
2268  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you manage risk in crypto currency on: February 18, 2023, 04:01:48 PM
Risk management is a term used to refer to many practices that lead to reducing the possibility of losing your money, and it is an assessment of the extent of the risk that you intend to invest in.
First of all, you must learn the basics about how Bitcoin works and how to secure your account, which includes how to create a wallet, cold storage, reduce transaction fees, and choose a good platform with reasonable fees.

Then comes the diversification of investment, which is not to put eggs in one basket so that you diversify your investments in many sectors such as gold, real estate, stocks, and others.

Then invest only in Bitcoin and avoid investing in alternative currencies if you do not have enough knowledge.
And managing psychological factors, which are greed, fear and greed.
2269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Achievement through the help of bitcoin on: February 18, 2023, 03:33:07 PM
Your story is not clear or has many missing details, but it is great to see that someone has benefited from investing in bitcoin or that it has an impact on changing his life, and I hope that you will continue to develop your knowledge because it is the most powerful weapon, even stronger than investment.

The achievements of individuals differ according to their age, source of income, country and how to benefit from investment, and therefore you may get different results accordingly.
2270  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Connecting my Electrum wallet to my MyNode on: February 18, 2023, 03:05:13 PM
I was also able to connect my Blue Wallet connected to my node. For some reason, I can not get my desktop electrum wallet connected. I don't know what else to do than maybe uninstall the wallet and reinstall again.

Try to delete your old certificate (it may have cached), open certificates folder, delete all old certification and try again.
or connecting using port 50001.
anyway since Blue Wallet works its related to electrum config.
2271  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ChatGPT and Trading on: February 18, 2023, 02:35:52 PM
Personally, I began to see that all that was happening was promoting that application. It was just an application that used artificial intelligence in the background to enhance search results, and not a miraculous tool to solve all your problems. Likewise, if you were so desperate to believe that an application would help you be rich, you are scamming yourself.

Therefore, trying to use it for other than what was allocated for it and promoting it as an effective tool is a waste of time.
2272  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading and Front running!!!! on: February 18, 2023, 02:22:01 PM
Even If you obtain such information, the prices that appear upon listing do not mean that there will be sufficient liquidity to cover beer requests.

For example, if an unknown person asks for a million dollars of a currency, then surely this matter will raise doubts, which means that it will be sold to him at a higher price than the market price. He wants to sell, so he will not be able to find enough liquidity to cover his selling orders.

The scenarios mentioned are very ideal, and if they succeed, they will be one or two times and cannot be generalized to all cases.
2273  Economy / Exchanges / Re: The Fraud company Localbitcoins is closing on: February 18, 2023, 01:59:48 PM
How much is the amount closed in your account? What was the response using support ticket?
LBC has been operating for a while and it has been trying to close its doors, so communicating with the authorities may take a lot of time, and given that you have a one-year barrier before accounts are deleted or the ways to access your account are complicated, the legal path may be long, costly and take a lot of time.

you can read them trustpilot, only few of them was scam related to LBC and mostly to second party ----> https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.localbitcoins.com?stars=1
2274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tainted coins on: February 17, 2023, 12:46:23 PM
Money should not be distinguished. Money earned from legal and illegal business is one and should not be distinguished between them, otherwise the US government would have burned those confiscated coins and not sold them.
Either selling them for less than their value is because they are offered in auctions or sold outside the market, and therefore the quantity will be large, but the price is different, and it is something that happens naturally in the market, and soon the prices are balanced.
2275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Many merchants are worried about high transaction fees on: February 17, 2023, 12:38:20 PM
Where did you get this information from? How much is the fee percentage? 1% to 3% is nothing compared to the fluctuation of the price, which may reach more than that daily, and the high price of Bitcoin means that all these fees are long-term gains if the store decides to keep them.
There are also a lot of solutions such as payment by lightning network, where fees can be close to zero.
2276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any successful ICOs or NFTs lately that ran bounty marketing here? on: February 17, 2023, 12:10:46 PM
Promotion Using ICO campaigns is the cheapest of all because you pay from your own tokens and thus free advertising and decentralized distribution of your coins, which means that you will benefit in both aspects.
The only problem lies in persuading people to promote and work to develop your advertising campaign according to the token that you will pay them. If you get good members, then you win, otherwise you will not achieve the required return, although it is free and inexpensive.
2277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Momentum Falters as Bitcoin Retreats to $23.6K on: February 17, 2023, 11:59:00 AM
What's new here? All the market capacity of alternative currencies moves with the movement of the price of Bitcoin, and therefore it follows the price of Bitcoin. If the price rises, the belief that the market is booming will increase, and therefore investment in alternative currencies, and the opposite occurs when the price decreases.
The last price move was to try to break the top, which did not happen, and therefore I wanted the price towards the nearby resistance point.
As for altcoins, they moved accordingly

2279  Economy / Economics / No petrol/diesel car sales by 2035/ Reality or dream? on: February 17, 2023, 11:13:56 AM
Many governments are moving to push hard to reduce sales of diesel and petrol cars, the European Parliament has officially approved a law banning the sale of new petrol and diesel cars in the EU from 2035

Quote
The landmark law will require carmakers to cut down CO2 emissions by 100 percent.
The 100 percent cut in CO2 emissions from new cars sold would make it impossible to sell petrol or diesel-powered cars in the 27-country bloc. The law that comes into effect in phases that will require a 55 percent cut in CO2 emissions for new cars starting 2030, which is a much higher target in comparison to the current 37.5 percent.

Source ---> https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/auto/electric-cars/no-petrol/diesel-car-sales-by-2035-european-parliament-approves-ban/articleshow/97939363.cms

Some reports indicate that the costs of running an electric car are actually lower than the costs of running a car with an internal combustion engine.
So, will this goal be achieved by the year 2035? Will the cars be more efficient and at a good price compared to current prices, or is it a policy that may take decades?
2280  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How the rising trend in CPI will affect Bitcoin price in short to medium term? on: February 17, 2023, 09:52:19 AM
I heard a lot of analyzes regarding producer and consumer prices, as producer prices slowed down more than expected, and therefore they may rebound in the next meeting by tightening the policy to 50 basis points or 75 basis points, and thus it will reach 5.2 percent for the next period, with interest rates stabilizing to 5 percent until the end of the end. We saw some negative returns, which are considered good unless changes occur that lead to an increase in prices during the coming period.
