2262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots are better than Dice. on: June 03, 2020, 05:14:45 PM
I like dice better since it's simpler, fast and easier to calculate the strategies. You can set your demanding payouts and boom, if you win, you get the money! But, in slots, it purely depends on what you get and not what you want! Slots look more complicated and the payouts are also random. But won't disagree, payout in it is more than dice in short term!
Honestly, If I were asked what is better from these two, I'd say dice with no hesitation coz basically dice is the easiest game on gambling, you just need to bet whether the number will be lower or higher from 49. That's the very basic to play on, with pure luck you can instantly double your money. However in slot there is we called jackpot where a bunch of winning awaits you, that's the only edge of the slot game to dice, the jackpot that all of the gambler want to get.

2264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Life soundtrack for Gamblers? on: June 02, 2020, 08:46:13 PM
... or create our own so it won't be blocked in some countries on youtube.

I think, new music or not, gamblers will not care. Just show your presentation in a professional way. The current source link about some list you have there is already a good reference.
I'm sure gamblers won't even think the lyrics or even hear it, but a soundtrack might help right? I mean it affects the mind of a gambler subconciously without them knowing it. Music that has a good good rhythmic might hype the gamblers, video makes a lot of sense when it has a music in it, isn't it?

Honestly, music gives us the vibe most of the time.

Since you have mentioned, "create our own", I think that would the best idea. Meaning you are capable to do that.
Youtube is strict even you will put a "No copyright infringement intended" or give credits on the caption. If you think you can deal with that, then good.
Nah, don't even try when you know nothing about it, it will just ruin everything trust me. Just pick a good music probably in youtube, contact the channel and let them know that you are going to use their music to avoid getting taken down due to copyright issues and give link credits, that way you'll be fine.
2265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Underground Casinos Is it Happening? on: June 01, 2020, 08:07:58 PM
They don't have any logic. They have only the audacity and confidence that they are not subject to the laws of the country.
And the cruelest part of it. That this government and these people came to power after the revolution under the slogan "Stop tolerating corruption and lawlessness".
It turns out that whoever came to power they will also cover illegal casinos and other criminal businesses.

Or even the police chief makes a secret agreement with the casino owner to give protection for their business so there is nothing that can stop them to run the casino. I think that is happening in many countries and many businesses because there are always corrupt people among good people. People only know that the underground casino cannot be touch by the law, and people will be safe to play on that casino.
bruh that's an old fashioned way of protecting, plus that would costs extra from the casino to maintain their operation coz these people were just a mere part of the government. These casinos we're not protected by the police, they are being protected by the local government. Most probably why the government is letting these things to flow is to prevent such a catastrophic chain of circumstance because most of these casinos are run by or connected to a syndicate on which the government is maintaining the peace. You don't move a perfect balanced table in another place.

Underground casinos might be operating by now, but I doubt that the owners are unafraid of the viral disease.

2269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is good strategy or technique for Toss Coin? on: May 30, 2020, 08:14:43 PM
It's 50/50 but you have a good chance if you tried to use martingale because there is no house edge, because it's physically tossing the coin no automated hit, we don't have something like this that is done on TV but flipping coins is very much popular in every town here, it's illegal here because because people play it in the street.
I have to agree with this because this is what I do when having a huge chance of winning in any game. I've already done this in carnival in our province, what they have is a coin cardboard or a plastic cut out I'm not sure coz they are the one who is tossing it, but yeah 50% of chance in winning will best fit with the martingale method. What I did back then is to bet $2, when I lose I'll place another bet on double, $4, and so on.... But the carnival banker does not allow this betting method because they know they are going to lose hard so they will forcefully kick you out once they find out so you better hide through the corners. It is safe in online though any of you guys don't know how the software really works.

It's a new feature in Chrome browser after the upgrade to version 83.
It has nothing to do with the forum.
Wait what? I thought it was with the forum itself coz I see nothing on my other websites. I mean it's not the same with the other type box, like searching in youtube its border is glowing in blue when you select it.

I see a same black border in other websites too.
Guess I need to check it out myself. Thanks for letting me know.
2272  Other / Meta / Re: New set up? on: May 29, 2020, 07:51:50 PM
Do you mind having a screenshot about it? Sometimes there's a warning color in red, not sure for bold black.

yazınca çerçeve kalınlaşıyor

my answer to yesterday's topic

When you start typing, the frame thickens when selected.
Ohh I see, you guys talked about it in your local board. Have you guys tried it on your phone? Does the border thickens also when you select it?

2274  Other / Meta / New set up? on: May 29, 2020, 07:40:52 PM
I was just about to reply something on different section, but I decided not to do it coz there is something in the reply box that caught my attention but I'm confuse though coz this is the first time I've seen this.

Have you guys notice the highlighted borders when you try to reply? It is thick in black color and I was wondering if it is just me who sees it.

But I think this was deliberately done to emphasize the area where we selected isn't it?

It's cool and helping though.

EDIT

All the type box is the same!
2275  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you handle losses in trading? on: May 28, 2020, 08:10:25 PM
This question has been asked many times, but then I understand coz you are a beginner.

You should also search for similar threads like this if you really wanna know.

I had set some rules before trading so I know how much I can loose it or have capacity. Also I have a stop loss always set so that even it triggers it is a limited loss . In trading , one always can’t make money and you will incur losses as well and should be ready for it .
Knowing your trading limit is enough to contain the risk in trading, it will help you to stop the losses or having enough profit. We all trader have lost somehow coz the market is blinding with high volatility, thus that will help you understand how the market really works, uncertain but you can work your instinct most of the time. Aside there are many trading strategy to cope up with your loss easily like martingale system, you can search what this trading style OP  Wink

Because back in the early 2000s even our ex-president had been caught playing casino. what a bad choice they made back then.

The fact of playing in a casino is not something reprehensible. Only excessive gambling is socially reprehensible.
I agree. It is not something that degrades you as a person, gambling is a mere fact of a form of entertainment involving money. But I don't think it should be called socially reprehensive either, even excessively coz who cares about you and your money? Unless you are not stealing someone's money to gamble right?

Playing in an underground casino should also be frowned upon if the existence of a casino is prohibited by law in the country or in a particular area.
I guess any underground casino violates a law (not expert on laws but I think they really do) The fact that they don't have permit to operate is enough to be an outlaw, it's unfair for those casino houses that pays a monthly taxes for their operation especially now that they are closed for almost 3 months, they are still paying for the facility. And most of the underground casino are run by criminal organization.

2277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [DISCUSSION] How to overcome a big loss in gambling? on: May 27, 2020, 09:08:14 PM
Among on the list mentioned then these are the things which should most gamblers need to look on;

1. Manage your emotion
2. Don't pressure yourself to regain your loss
These two are the best to prevent getting big losses in gambling. There should be less emotion involve when you are gambling, or better if there is none at all coz it will basically affect your decision making especially when you are playing strategic games like table games. Pressure can feel often when you are losing, I suggest to stop when you start to confuse yourself whether to stop or to continue, always choose to stop, that's the pit stop.

When you do deal up with gambling then this will be your primary enemy when you do lose money along the way where you would surely
burst your emotion since we dont like to lose.Right? and thats what #2 would set in when you are already on anger or being too desperate
then thats the time you will chase up your losses. This is its important to control your emotion because what comes after that will be
actions that would really lead up into more problems.
Well losing is really frustrating but you just need to cope those lost so you can regain  the balance the next time. Always remember that it's not always like that, there are days that you'll win much bigger than that.
2278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stop calling it DICE. on: May 27, 2020, 08:11:13 PM
I am amazed why it is called DICE gambling when it has nothing to with dice. RNG picks a number and thats all where is the dice in that. Normally  you have to choose in between 10000 numbers not like dice which has only six sides. Apart from that there is no visual animation corresponding to dice throw still there is picture of dice and it says ROLL, and I say LOL.

Okay lets make up some research when it comes to dice;

a small cube with each side having a different number of spots on it, ranging from one to six, thrown and used in gambling and other games involving chance.
It is better to hear it a "dice" game rather than "lotto" maybe this is one of the reason why many people are hooked up with this game because of the subliminal tickle on your mind that you got a higher chance on winning in a dice than a lotto though you got a lot of options or numbers to bet into. Typically the dice is just a six-sided cube with numbers from 1-6 but there are also some dice that has more than 6 which I never saw in my life yet, even in carnivals.

You got actually the point but in general sense it being embraced on how dice game being called yet it do roll out numbers and waiting up for the result.
yeah it do range from 1-6 on a typical or physical dice but online dice site do alter it out into a bigger picture and still adopting out that word.
But the game isn't about a dice, or picking a number from 1-6 it is about prediction whether it will be high or low with neut at 49.9. So most probably this is called a dice because like a dice, when you roll it, there will only single number at the top which is a winning number. They are similar in having a single winning number/side.

2280  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese Strategy? on: May 26, 2020, 07:06:40 PM
"There is no need to unnecessarily poke the Panda" as Peter Navarro once said. You simply don´t mess with Beijing, and peple won´t like that but HongKong will lose. They will build up Macao and Guangzhou and even more importantly Shenzhen. It already has the monicker of "Chinese Silicon Valley".

There is a funny stoy about Chairman Mao from back in the day. It is said that he met with the russian leaders to discuss how to bring communism to China. He allegedly told the them he is willing to kill 300 million Chinese people to achieve that goal. It is said that even the hard and tough russians were speechless haha
What are you referring to mate?

I guess you are referring to what is happening in Hong Kong at the moment amidst the Pandemic.

This is way far from what is the real discussion about China on this thread.
