2261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [I0C] I0coin - The Best Choice In Digital Currency on: March 18, 2018, 01:46:39 PM
Well this thread just faded out, I enjoyed following the dialogue of both I0C and IXC though comments on this thread stopped on February 6th...and I can no longer access the IXC thread, must have turned private, sigh  Sad

IXC thread got deleted for no reason - here’s the new one.

This thread is jam packed with clueless numbnuts.

2263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: March 18, 2018, 02:43:05 AM
Bitcoin investment is safe and secure when compared to any other altcoin most of which are just pump and dump. Its very hard for another crypto currency to replace bitcoin. But when quantum computing comes in future and if it affects block chain system, then at such situation, it may become possible for a altcoin to replace bitcoin Smiley

Cause lack of capacity, speed and adoption isn’t enough.   Roll Eyes
2264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Bitcore- BTX - SEGWIT - hybrid fork 1:0.5 of Bitcoin- 7% Airdrop every week on: March 18, 2018, 02:41:37 AM

Obviously a coin that market itself as a btc fork with weekly airdrop would find its end days when the airdrop is over. I've stated here some time ago that we need something to differentiate on the long run.
Also, devs splitting their large wallets into many many small ones looked suspicious to me.

If you think $8 is the bottom, check B2X, another btc fork, currently trading at $1.80.

$8 ain’t the bottom.  I’ve been saying minimum $5 since ~$14.

The bottom is falling out from BTC, now at $7600.  Should drop below $6,000 in the next 1-2 weeks.  Killing alt prices on the way.

2265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: March 18, 2018, 01:44:07 AM
The possibility of altcoins to replace the place of bitcoinis like hitting jackpot. Altcoins need more time and luck to replace the place of bitcoin. But it's never impossible. It's like a prince will replace the king. But need to wait for its turn. Need to wait for the time king will not able to do or capable of what needed.

You mean like right now?   Roll Eyes
2266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Bitcore- BTX - SEGWIT - hybrid fork 1:0.5 of Bitcoin- 7% Airdrop every week on: March 18, 2018, 12:48:07 AM

Well to be fair I cashed out my whole portfolio instead of just BTX. I didn't like how the market was looking and I am going to be doing some mining.

Smart move.  Should bottom out I think in the next month.  Maybe a bit sooner.

I am confused too. Bought a lot of BTX @ all time high and stuck now, which seems to be forever as we may never see those highs again. I am more worried that post airdrop, there will be a huge dump again which will drive the price way too low. Any thoughts?

$5 is very possible over the coming weeks.

I’m seeing a lot of guys here DUMPING.  Not sure what started that trend.   Grin

Me... But this has nothing to do with the dumping and more to do with the overall downtrend of the market.

@gwestcot, Did you just post that you started the dumping? Aren't you still a member of the team?

I remember him dumping all his btx around $15 or $20 I think.  I thought he was crazy but he called this one.

I still have some BTC in the background for the end of the airdrop. I will going to catch BTX when they are at the bottom.
Still buying after monday airdrops!

Something in my brain tell me, BTX has future! Grin

Is the future now?    Tongue

I am still rooting for this coin. I believe that after the airdrop, there's going to be a turnaround of events. It's just only a matter of time Smiley

How long can you hold your breath?

Ok, start, nooowww!   Grin

The markets would switch to BCH.  BCH is already on every exchange I’ve ever heard of.

No plan to other exchanges Huh
agree...
what about poloniex, bittrex, novaexchange?

Our next goal is Bittrex.

Kind Regards Christian

It's almost 1 year..still our next goal is bittrex

After that post lots of things were discussed here. And I remember that was a consensus that while we still have the Airdrop running new Exchanges would be difficult. So let's wait May, and hopefully all weak hands should have dumped their coins and then we can look forward to new Exchanges.

Exactly.  And it’s not so easy getting listed on big exchanges like Bittrex.

2276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Bitcore- BTX - SEGWIT - hybrid fork 1:0.5 of Bitcoin- 7% Airdrop every week on: March 17, 2018, 02:55:39 PM
Vlad2Vlad,

If lightning network is implemented in Bitcoin network, how will it  affect Bitcore ...

Please don't tell me this time to dump my holdings.. Because I have already dumped all... And I know you are still dumping...

Lol.

Bitcoin is still centralized by Chinese miners (see Cobra’s latest comments) so they want to do a PoW change which will never get consensus.  Also, even with LN, BTC still has blocks that are too small, also per their own devs.  And if LN works on bitcoin then that’s a big bonus for BTX, thank you for getting it all worked out so BTX can now leapfrog BTC.

BTC is dead, people just don’t see it yet.  Too much centralization, too much infighting and too many anarchists to ever get any innovation rolled out in a timely manner.  I expect their best devs to soon move to other coins [like BTX].

Did anyone have unauthorized attempts to log into your Cryptopia account in the last few days? Is this due to some delay in payments? Could someone attack Cryptopia DDOS?

I read that there were hack attempts on cryptopia a couple days ago.

they tried to hack mine 7 times in the past 3 days ...keep getting failed login attempt emails

That’s not good.  I’m thinking the best thing to do at this point is to DUMP!    Grin

Is this topic actually moderated by someone or is it supposed to be like that >> playground for dumpers and pumpers?

It is unmoderated., A option to arrange the posts on the amount of Merit would be nice.

That's really not good.
To much ridiculous posts and misleading info for official ANN thread.
All that stuff should go to BTX thread called "Speculations and trading" and definitively no in thread that should give people answers to wallet problems and all other technology stuff, roadmaps, mining and stuff...

Is there any community DEV to clean all this mess and putt this thread to the right path?

I literally sat on my nerves waiting for you to realize that this forum isn't what you thought it was.

I say f*ing no to moderated threads and hell yeah to how this community works. As much as people may call it nonprofessional I actually get a reply on every darn post which usually doesn't happen if you don't have tags and patches n stuff.

And seriously if you're trying to attract investors.... I mean common is it truly here they'd be attracted to in first place? Instead of going about the more traditional way to attract investors... I can't believe this.

And for whoever wants that line to be drawn, draw it. Come on. Give it your all. Let's see.

I say fix some sense of humor and a pair of glasses plus some exercise to enable yourself the art of distinguishing between  someone that makes time pass by while cyber-socializing and someone thats scamming or whatever.

Now you try and bring one of those negative clouds here again. I dare ye. Especially over Vlad and Agostine. Those guys are like our lucky charms God dang it!

Peace

That’s the truth right there, brother!!!  Smiley
