Yeah...I checked those. #3 on the list isn't there, #2 on the list is DEAD, #1 does work but I'm the sole miner on the site...oh well, maybe I'll get lucky. lol  Also, I'm confused as to the coin designation. The pools list it as CGB, but my wallet says it's CGX. Can someone clarify?

Thanks

CGB comes from Cryptogenic Bullion CGB, which used to be it's name, now it's rebranded CryptoBullion CBX.
Someone else will have to help with mining info.

Thank you....I got my mining working too. It was a problem on their site.

Good luck!!

HI,

Trying to mine CBX. The site directs me to yours but it says it's CGB and the url is stratum.dgb.theblocksfactory.com:3337. Also says it is dead but shows 2 other miner plus I can't create any workers. I used to mine WDC here and that account is still good. Are my worker names good for CBX and why does it show dead?

Thank you

POS only nowadays, POW over.

anyway, your listening pleasure................

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zK9YGgCs6mU

This is not true. CBX is still a hybrid - both PoS and PoW. Not sure about active mining pools but hopefully some of the miners chime in here to assist?

PoS only will occur once the PoSP algorithm is implemented (scheduled for 4th quarter of 2015) - so the PoW miners still have some time.

Thanks for the replies. I'm still wanted to get in on CBX mining if someone could point me to a pool, Please. I'm small-time and not a farm. I know sometimes that helps to know so you miners don't think I'm coming in to over-power anyone. Responses?

Thank You

Damn...it seems our 'ducking' luck has shifted for a while.  I need to pay for this s3+ baby. Comon! I'm not posting another thing until we hit again. Old joke...just gonna say the punch line. See if you know how it goes....."Green side up".

Happier Mining days ahead!

Mein wallet ist nicht syncron. Was soll ich tun?

Hey dev,

Mine either......shows no nodes connected. What's up?

Hello,

I just stumbled on this thread and thought it interesting. Will someone tell me if CBX can still be mined & where? The pools listed don't seem to have active websites.

Thx much!

BLOCK!!!      Grin   YIPPEE!!!    Cheesy

Need some quick hitters now to get that pool % back.

edit; and I added another s3+ to the pool hashrate. Now I just need to find the page in this thread that has the directions for the cgminer software upgrade. Hmmm....

Happy Mining    Cool

Thanks!

edit: well that's the miner but what I really need are the 'step by step' directions to install them after I 'puTty' the S3. It's in this thread...I'm still looking for the page..but Thanks anyway!

edit2: found it...30 pages back.

edit..last one: HEY....now I have twins!! That's enough hashrate to get me into the 1THc club.   Roll Eyes    Grin

Freakin' BIG lightning storm on the way to the store this evening. I just KNEW I was gonna get kicked off-line. Sure enough, had to restart everything after getting home. Last post was made in May. Is anyone still using this thread or has everyone gone to a different one?

Thanks

any way to have the system email when worker is down?

I know there is a google app for that. In googleplay, try CKPool something. It works. Not sure about OS..don't think so. Just an idea for ya.

edit: oh..it's free!

the only option i see in that app is for avg hash.
suppose i can set it to just enough if one worker drops out, but variance might cause a false report.

i also dont like running programs on my phone that might drain the battery down..

an option in the site that emails you if a worker doesnt send a share in x amount of time would be helpful.

you can already see when the last share was, so it might not be too hard? kano??

FYI; that isn't kanos app, but the guy is a miner here (I think). You might try sending him an email. Check the app or g-play store to see if you can. Maybe he can help. Once you set it tho, I don't believe you have to keep it (app) running for it to send out the e-mail warning.

2276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GRN] GraniteCoin | Simple Solid Stable ... on: August 16, 2015, 06:50:01 PM
OK chrysophylax....I'm finally here to take a look at GraniteCoin. Seems a pretty straight forward x11 algo. So, convince me what is special about it. Without me going in and checking and 'cuz you probably know, where does it lie in it's blockchain? Big question: What pool of 'HONEST' ops would you recommend for mining? Is it worth the ROI to mine /w just 3Mh or am I better buying on the exchanges? Oh...that's a good one too; what exchanges is GRN listed on?

I think you get my meanings here. Not belittling, I'd just like to know why GRN would be a good move? You've seen me on a number of different threads and know I have my hands in a little of everything. Who are the big holders and how much do they have? What can I get from GRN? ETC, etc,etc....fill me in.

Thanks much for your time and any replies!!

Happy mining or trading.   Grin

2277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Equilibrium Now over 10k on exchanges. Equinodes June 10th on: August 16, 2015, 01:19:35 PM
Is this coin still alive? Even tho I have 8 nodes connected the wallet doesn't sync. Stuck with 5223 blocks remaining and quit staking back in June.  Does anyone have news on this coin? Fill us in please.

Thank You

edit: after a number of tries, I discovered my wallet was stuck on a fork in the chain. I used a couple of 'tricks' and finally got it to sync on the correct (I hope) fork of the chain and seems to be synced up. However, both my questions still apply in this post. Answers?

Did something occur about 08:45 EST today with the pool? All my miners did a fail-over & the website went down for me.
I you mean about 1/2 an hour ago - yep seems to have been a routing issue for a couple of minutes.
Not everyone dropped off, but about 25% did.
It happened for 70 seconds 13 hours ago also.

No information on the cause, and since it wasn't a total disconnect for everyone I can only assume it was a router a few steps up stream from the data centre.
Since it resoved itself pretty quickly there's not much to do to try and track it down.
I also know what to expect the answer from the data centre to be ... just what I said ... since it was so short.
Hopefully no more - but I've not had any such problems for quite a while.

OK, thanks. I just happened to have been on-line and saw both of those disconnects occur & wanted to make sure it wasn't on my end. I've had a lot of lightning the past couple of days which kicked me off a few times, sooo...Thanks again....it ain't me!!
