In order to get into the semi-decent range, you would need to use the CPUs at 100%, which no user would tolerate.

Maybe I should've gotten this clearer.
I do not know my code, so I am going to type with full ignorance.

But is there any gauge that is used with these scripts that is able to tell, not how much computer power a person has, but how much (percentage of their own) computer power  they are using on their computer at any given time?   I am sorry if I could not type that last sentence out any easier to understand.

Also, are these scripts/applets/whatever written in such a way that is able to adjust the power used within the script by other variables obtained from the users computer?

I will not be satisfied with this thread until someone boots up their Tor, gets on FH, and makes an .oinion link that will sell me Silk.

It doesn't have to be workable.  Make it a joke.  But dammit, this joke will take you 2 minutes whoever you are quick webmaster.

Dude, you're the man. I touched them up a little bit and added them to the website's "Spread the Word" page, do you have another website besides BitcoinPorn I can give you a link back to?

I sadly have too many sites, but I am here representing Bitcoin Porn only, so I accept when I am not accepted on all sites Wink

Anyways, it is for charity and I have been looking to do some banners/headers for some people promoting Bitcoin, can't get any better than people asking for graphics for their signatures Smiley    Honestly glad you liked them and definitely glad you cleaned them up, that was during my lunch hour real quick.

Sir, you should start a little Youtipit page for this project.   That way you have a little landing page without having to create a full site just yet, and something to put in your sig that would have a little graphic or something.   I did one for my site ( http://www.youtipit.org/t/J3470 ), but here is an example of one that might be more toward what you are going for ( http://www.youtipit.org/t/J2960 )

Your project actually fits the whole site/theme/usage of Youtipit and Bitcoin that I think could benefit yourself and the program.

Glad to see this progress in a positive way, I never get any donations because I love boobs lol

What the fuck, why was that not in your initial post.  I am genuinely interested in watching this.  The 10 hour thing though, oh god, it seems like something that will take me a week to watch, but actually worth it.

Thanks for sharing this.
2269  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: selling silk road marketplace accounts on: June 22, 2011, 07:54:20 PM
Everyone knows how to get onto Silk Road has been discussed on most public news stations.

The address, is right here on Reddit, in case posting it here was wrong for whatever reason, http://www.reddit.com/r/onions/comments/grx8b/drugs_onlinethe_silk_road/

To get to it, you will need to use Google, too many people do the work for others here in the wrong places.  Bitcoin needs help, if you want your precious Silk Road and illegal drug trade to succeed, think of the overall picture here, this anonymous coin needs to succeed first.

You are going to go at a loss if you take ads off.

I started my site (http://bitcoinporn.tumblr.com) with Javascript enabled day one and it is plain as day that is how the site is run.  I have even gone between using Bitp.it and BitCoinPlus, not because one is better than the other, but because Bitp.it is a project that is no longer on the forefront from the creator, so until that is a main project again, I rather go with something that is ongoing.

This of course means I am doing it for free for the most part (please donate), but that is the cost of doing things you believe in.   For me, it's porn and digital money.   I honestly see only people who abuse the Java Script Browsers as the ones who are truly gaining from it at this point.

I can't wait for the movie of this shit.
2273  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Other p2p currency players on: June 22, 2011, 06:26:52 PM
With this whole thing, it is Bitcoin or bust at this point.  Too many people and too much money involved.

Even if Wal Mart came up with a Bitcoin like thing with their own stamps of security, the only reason it would succeed is because hackers and just geeks alike would enjoy the general public using a dumb'ed down unsecured version of something that was free and better.   Nothing better to a geek than being right about something.    I think I took this too far.

Sweet, hope this works as a podcast too, will be streaming in the background while I work.  I hope this will become "the link" I can give people when trying to introduce them to Bitcoin.

A banner for the signatures would be great. I would put in mine.

I did these really quick, but they turned out decent imo, I enjoyed the tag lines.

Rather than let the community decide, see what is on the market, go a step lower, advertise that fact, profit.
2278  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: why you dont make a flattr whit BTC ? on: June 22, 2011, 02:27:45 PM
I like this a lot.

I actually linked my signature image to YouTipIt acting as a landing / pre-page to my site if people go through the signature.    When I have the time I want to fancy up my page.

Edit:

Made a 100 x 100 button but the sides and top are messed up on a white background, I won't be able to finish till later.  Here is the .psd if someone wants to mess around with those edges and put your own stamp on it

I would like a graph of the amount of Gox related graphs there are.

Then a pie chart separating by topic of each graph.

Then a pie.
2280  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BitCams.com on: June 22, 2011, 10:47:01 AM
My plan was making an ewallet, the customer signs up with an email address and password. They get a designated wallet with a bitcoin address that they send to (us), and then they pay in "Credits". We actually don't even need to pay the girls in bitcoins if we don't want to,  we can just pay them in cash at the end of their work day, they convert the credits to $$$. Obviously we would need a starting bankroll for that so at the start that might not be possible. But thats where I wana go eventually. The credit's system (similar to what you see at live jasmine) might be the best approach, esp if these girls don't even know what bitcoins are lol.
Credits was already something I kind of had in mind, an ewallet very secure system, even maybe using some cash to get a trusted third party security system put in that the public already knows.  That line of thinking is good.

Did not see your other sites, you do good work, I do hope I get spare time.   I guess though is there anything you were having in mind logo or avatar wise?   Creative and graphic stuff I am able to do at odd hours so toss out anything you already had brainstormed and I could think on that (PM if you don't want to put this out there)
