I really need to congratulate Benfica. They competed in the giants league and reached the quarter-finals, and even though they knew that they would be eliminated by Liverpool, who can be among the top 3 clubs with the most form, they fought until the last moment and contributed to both their country score and their own image. The offside flag was raised 5 times in the match, then two of them were counted as goals again. It was a narrative match for those who are new to football and do not know offside very well. It was that interesting. One of those matches that betting was both easy and difficult.
Benfica really fought hard against Liverpool, they weren't given any chance. Many thought Liverpool was going to run riot against them but they gave Liverpool a proper fight in the second leg. In the middle of this week we will have a postponed match to be played, and the first match to be played is the match between Liverpool v Manchester United and will be played today. Well i think that Bayern has the money to sign Haaland but it seems like they are just not willing to meet the outrageous demands of Haaland and his agent. Haaland asks for a salary of around 40 M€ per year if the rumors are true which is just crazy for a 21 year old players that has missed most of the games this season. What is even more ridiculous though is the fact that Haalands agent Mino Raiola wants 40 M€ for himself as a signing fee and Haalands father wants 30M€ for himself as a brokerage fee. That are 70M€!!! just for Haalands agents, that is just absolutely crazy and no club in the world should agree to such terms even if their money comes from sheikhs and oligarchs. Bayern is one of the clubs that could still afford such a deal as they are still having at least 100M€ lying in the Bank, they are just not paying such crazy unjustifiable fees for agents because they always spent their money reasonably and carefully. Clubs like Real Madrid (900 M€ of debts) and Barcelona (1,3 Billion € of debts) just keep signing new players even though they are broke already. Spanish clubs just can't deal with money apparently. Bayern could spend 1 Billion € for players and would still be financially healthier than Barca after that. Pretty crazy. It should be worthy of the Balon d'or for Benzema because his game really impressed him, he became a savior goal scorer for Real Madrid so it was important in the Los Blancos squad. Mancity's track record is superior because Mancity has always been able to beat Madrid before but this time Pep Guardiola's squad is on fire, all the players starting from the defense, midfielders and attackers are really stable so I'm more inclined to Mancity even though Real Madrid have Benzema as the tip of his spear. Karim Benzema should be a worthy Ballon D'or candidate this year but unfortunately, it's a world cup year and the best performing player easily gets a shot at the individual award. Usually free kicks from the right of the penalty box are more often executed by Bruno Fernandez, but Cristiano Ronaldo's decision to take free kicks was quite right with amazing goal scored and he managed to keep Manchester United's chances of finishing in 4th position. There was no escrow used, it was just your word given and yet you left in the middle of a transaction (after payment has been made) for a meeting. Manchester United are currently in a bad situation. They have conceded alot of goals this season, in their last games across all competitions, they have just a win, 3 Losses and 2 draws. Ralf Ragnick's needs to make an improvement in the team, because rumours are fast spreading that he may be relieved of his duties as Manchester United manager. One of the big problems of United is that they lack cooperative teamwork among themselves. That's what you get when you start big names like Critiant Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes, Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford who is presently a flopp in the team. There's so many of struggling players who are not doing well at united. Cristiano Ronaldo is presently in trouble after he smashed a fan's phone after their 1-0 defeat at the Goodison park on Saturday. There are still some big games coming up for them, like Liverpool and arsenal. Let's hope United survive these games.

Ohh my Mate Masplanc, Mohammed Salah is the name But it is not a easy thing to carry the country in he's shoulders. Cristiano Ronaldo did this for Portugal anyways. Africans are not real good good. I think it is very hard to blame Salah, when it comes to national teams; you have to adapt to the quality of players around you and i think Salah did well to that regards. The Egypt national team is quite defensive and rely on counter attacks (Salah plays an attacking setting in Liverpool). Also do not forget Mane has Kouyate, PSG midfield maestro and Koulibaly, proven qualities. And importantly, African football is not for the weak It is normal to blame Salah, for a player of his quality, technicality and wealth of experience in the game so far, it is only expected he's been able to influence games for the national team. We have see the likes of Sadio Mane and Mahrez do that for Senegal and Algeria respectively. It is true only Salah can't carry the entire team game after game but at least he should try. He seems to be uninfluential in their game that's why he's being criticized. |
