I must agree... And the situation with cryptonotes is much harder than that of simple bitcoin clones. There are not small exchanges that add cryptonotes. No yobit no c-cex etc. Most developers of cryptonote coins don't take this into account. ONEEVILCOIN (now magnatoj), REDWIND, TAVOS, INFINIUM8 etc they would thrive in a small exchange, but there is no such thing as "small exchange" for cryptonotes. It is either poloniex or bittrex. Lets see how it goes with cryptopia now that they added their first ones, Monero and AEON. Well, I heard Minergate is adding new coin, cross yer fingers it'd be Neptunium  JUST SAYINI just dont understand why would they add coin that does not have that much if hashing power, while really low value and no even exchange |

I m still mine  and now , I v got 20000+ NPT, include donated to dev 4000+ sooooo easy to mine , lower diff, poor miner, and large reward Yep that is the reason why i keep mining, we maybe still have a chance. Does not look too promising from dev's side tho. Starts feling like the dev has abanonded us. This for sure that dev have abandon us, he's pool don't work either! This is pity that all bounties are he's hand. So what do you think? should we take community takeover or stop mining and let him lick his fingers with worthless coins? I pm'ed the dev and received a reply about a week ago. He said he was still supporting the coin. At this time the coin is still functioning so no immediate support is needed. But for this coin to do anything it will need some innovative improvements that other cryptonote coins are not doing. That takes time for development and some of us actually have families, property, and other responsibilities that make it hard to devote 100% of time on working on developing. The only individual that has done any development other than the original dev is lulworm and their work on the block explorer which we still don't have. Myself and a few others setting up a pool doesn't count as development since all we did was change a few parameters on already developed open source software. Talk about taking over the coin is premature. If you did what would you do then? Without a plan a takeover is meaningless. Premature? Dev has not been here for ages. It has been many weeks since he was in touch with community, and look at his pool. Its already down, and no notice about it. So we can reconsider actually what is going on here. |

My programming skills are not nearly good enough to make a block explorer, if there only was a ready cryptonote block explorer code  I think lulworm is making one for the bounty that the dev has for this purpose. My explorer is almost ready because i get an rpc response from daemon with all the values to parse on the explorer page but up until now, all attempts to communicate with developer have failed; so i have just moved on with my other project. Regards. Ok good news about the explorer and bad news about the dev. That means lets wait for the dev to respond and take it from there. Yeah lets hope so, the coin is dying and we must do something about it if we want to keep going on. PS. if you guys still believe on this coin, please do mine because you can grab lot of coins at this difficulty because its really low at the moment |

at what point?
